The signs are everywhere and the mainstream media's propagandists are doing theri best to hide or lie about it. • • • TRUMP RISES, OBAMA FALLS. The Great American Daily noted on Monday that : "Barack Obama spent eight years in the White House being worshipped by the so-called “mainstream” media. By contrast, fake news media outlets have smeared Donald Trump with lies and conspiracy theories in order to drive him from office. So Barack Obama and the Democrats couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the results of one poll and how the American people compared Obama to Donald Trump." • It's certainly true that President Trump has been constantly attacked by the MSM who like to "compare" him to their idolized Obama. Various studies have found that the media gives President Trump up to 90% negative coverage. And the gola of this is, says Great American Daily, "to separate Trump from his voters. That would leave the President dead man walking when he ran for re-election in 2020." • Sorry, MSM. That plan has failed. The most recent Rasmussen poll found Trump with a 50% job approval rating. That is five points higher than Obama’s at the same time in his presidency. It's almost funny that the MSM that saw Obama as "brilliant, sophisticated and the embodiment of everything right" and that labels Trump as "racist, sexist, xenophobic, Neanderthal" should fail so completely. It isn' that the media didn't try. Great AMerican Daily cites a December 2017 Pew Study that found : "Obama received 740% more positive coverage than Trump if you looked at how the media covered each President in the first 60 days of their administrations. Obama received 42% positive coverage where Trump got just 5% of stories about his first 60 days in office having a positive slant. But the resiliency of Trump has proved how powerless the media is. In 2008 and 2012, Obama was able to ride the wave of positive media coverage to easy election victories. The media never asked him any tough questions and worked hand over fist to sweep any controversies under the rug. Normal Republicans would have wilted under a quarter of the fake news and lies Trump has endured from so-called 'journalists.' But instead of apologizing or accepting the media’s terms of debate, Trump fights back. It’s the secret to Trump’s staying power. Had he acted like a typical D.C. Republican he would have been gone long ago." • BUT, Republican voters see how much the media hates them -- a Politico reporter tweeted that Trump supporters at a recent rally were “toothless” hillbillies.” They appreciate the fact that Trump is fighting to keep his promises to the American people in the face of unyielding hatred and hostility. As Great AMerican Daily says : "The media spent eight years ignoring Obama’s failures and 18 months trying to hide Trump’s successes from the American people. Despite the media working on behalf of the Obama administration and against the Trump administration, Rasmussen’s latest poll still found Trump with a higher approval rating than Obama at a similar point in their presidencies." • AMERICANS TURNING TOWARD TRUMP. On Monday, BizPac Review published an article with the lead "Never-Trumper Mohammed Shaker converts to pro-Trumper; squashes false claims of ‘racist’ rally-goers." Samantha Chang wrote : "President Trump’s booming economy and top-tier Supreme Court picks have transformed one vehement anti-Trumper into a Trump supporter. 'I was worried he wouldn’t be a good Republican and honestly, he has changed my mind a lot,” a man told Fox News at a Trump rally in Tampa, Florida, on July 31. The best thing he has done, in my opinion, is the tax cuts and the Supreme Court pick.' ” • The man wasn't identified in the original Fox News interview, but he has since been identified on social media as Mohammed Shaker, a Florida Republican who didn't vote for Trump in the 2016 election but will probably vote for him in 2020 because Trump is “doing a good job" : “I didn’t vote for anybody this very last election,” Shaker said before the Tampa rally. “But this time around [in 2020], I will probably vote for him....I agree with him,” he told Fox News. “We need to make America strong again. We need to make America great again. I like most of what I heard. Coming from a guy that didn’t like him, to liking him now, that’s a step up, right?” • On his Facebook page, Mohammed Shaker slammed the media narrative that Trump supporters are racist, writing : “During the rally today I didn’t wear a red MAGA hat nor a t-shirt and not a single person looked at me weird or treated me with disrespect. I think it’s safe to say that the rumor of Trump supporters being racists is a bit over exaggerated....Although I was a Never-Trump Republican and don’t agree with some of his ideas...I do love some of it such as the tax cuts and massive amounts of deregulations." • Even more interesting was Mohammed Shaker's take on the media : "@MohammedMShaker. The Daily Caller reported on Sunday that : "New details have emerged revealing that George Soros helped prop-up democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s political career in an attempt to put 400 Bernie Sanders-like politicians in Congress. A former organizer for Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s under-dog win in the democratic primary was undoubtedly helped by far-left organizations linked George Soros -- specifically, online media which played a crucial role in her campaign. Members linked to Soros-funded digital media asked Ocasio-Cortez to run for office which guaranteed she would get favorable coverage by a media network that reaches almost 300 million people monthly. One member of the Soros-funded media, Cenk Uygur, also founded one of the two political groups responsible for asking Ocasio-Cortez to run, Justice Democrats -- whose goal is to get Sanders-like politicians elected to Congress. Uygur, a former Armenian genocide denier, was eventually forced out of the organization after old articles revealed some of his previous sexist comments, often referring to women in a derogatory way." • Incumbent Joseph Crowley -- who had a good chance to succeed Nancy Pelosi as Democratic leader of the House -- greatly outspent Ocasio-Cortez. But, her strong online presence -- thanks to the coverage of the Soros-linked digital media -- allowed her to gain traction and defeat Crowley in the primary June 26. She is expected to win New York’s 14th congressional district handedly, given the district’s Democratic history. • The Daily Caller says : "After Ocasio-Cortez’s website, Ocasio2018.com, was first registered May 3, 2017, it redirected to Ocasio-Cortez’s now-deleted page on BrandNewCongress.Org, according to an Internet archive captured June 29, 2017. Brand New Congress is another organization, just like Justice Democrats, that aims to get socialists elected to Congress in the 2018 mid-terms. It has close ties to Justice Democrats. In a June 27 interview with Uygur on his YouTube channel “The Young Turks,” Ocasio-Cortez thanked Uygur and other media platforms for covering her before the primaries, which she says 'in no small part' helped her win. 'I wouldn’t be running if it wasn’t for the support of Justice Democrats and Brand New Congress,' Ocasio-Cortez told Uygur. 'In fact it was, it was JD (Justice Democrats) and it was Brand New Congress that asked me to run in the first place.' ” • The Daily Caller states that : "The Young Turks is a member of The Media Consortium -- a network of far left media publications which includes Mother Jones, Democracy Now!, and dozens of other outlets, funded by Soros. The Media Consortium is a Soros a media empire that, according to Media Research Center (MRC), reaches nearly 300 million people a month. 'Soros funds nearly every major left-wing media source in the United States,' MRC stated. 'Forty-five of those are financed through his support of the Media Consortium. That organization ‘is a network of the country’s leading, progressive, independent media outlets.’ The list is predictable -- everything from Alternet to the Young Turks.” • So, we have yet another ProgDem whose political rise depends on George Soros and his hatred of American that feeds many violent organizations such as Antifa and Black Lives Matter. When is the Justice Department going to investigate Soros and his paid-for violent anti-American activities. • • • WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, PROGDEMS TURN TO THEIR ANTI-GUN RHETORIC. Western Journal reported last Thursday that : "An astonishing number of elected Democrats and liberal media figures have utterly lost their minds in recent days with regard to the proliferation of blueprints online related to the 3D-printing of firearm components, but that in and of itself isn’t particularly surprising. What is shocking is the incredible amount of absurd inaccuracies, blatant disinformation and lies by omission about 3D-printed guns on the part of the same anti-gun zealots who vehemently oppose virtually anything and everything firearm or Second Amendment related." • Western Journal gives this example od what it calls : "a ridiculous speech delivered Tuesday by Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, which could very well go down in history as the most ludicrous anti-gun speech ever, at least to this point....Holding up a large poster comparing an AR-15-style semi-automatic rifle built with a 3D-printed component atop a standard-built AR-15-style rifle, Blumenthal cranked the self-righteous sanctimony all the way to the maximum level. 'Coming to a theater near you,' proclaimed Blumenthal as he pointed at the picture. 'Coming to a theater near you, coming to a school near you, coming to a sports stadium, to any public place...these ‘ghost guns’ are the new wave of American gun violence. You will see them around our streets, in our airports, our train stations, they are undetectable, untraceable...forget about the TSA guarding the plane that you board,' he warned, apparently oblivious to his own contradiction of how people would 'see' these supposedly 'undetectable' guns in all of these places." • Of course, Senator Blumenthal wants these "ghost guns" outlawed : "“These ‘ghost guns’ are a menace...the failure to ban them will mean blood on the hands of officials who have that responsibility.” • Western Journal then provides some badly needed facts : "Oh, where to start with this, aside from the obvious gaffe about a freaking full-sized AR-15-style rifle being 'undetectable.' What Blumenthal was most likely inferring by calling the weapon 'undetectable' is that certain components of the firearm were built with 3D-printed plastic parts, which of course wouldn’t be picked up by a metal detector. What Blumenthal failed to mention -- perhaps deliberately, more likely out of sheer ignorance -- is that only certain components of the firearm can be built with plastic parts, with other parts necessarily still requiring metal pieces, like the internal firing mechanisms, and of course the ammunition...all of which would be picked up by a metal detector." • Stephen Gutowski of the Washington Free Beacon tried to clear up the insane amount of misinformation being put forward by the media and politicians, in a series of tweets : "@StephenGutowski. Nearly everything you're hearing about 3D printed guns right now is false. 2:36 PM - Jul 31, 2018." Gutowski explained how the 3D blueprints have already been posted and available online for years, how it is perfectly legal for law-abiding Americans to build -- or 3D-print -- their own firearms at home, how the weapons still require metal parts to properly function and how the lawsuit settlement the controversy stemmed from was in regard to international export concerns. Gutowski also reached out to the National Rifle Association for its take on the controversy over 3D-printed guns, and received a statement from Chris Cox, executive director for the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, about the laws already on the books with regard to actual 'undetectable' firearms, which have been illegal for some time, and still are. Cox told the Washington Free Beacon : "Many anti-gun politicians and members of the media have wrongly claimed that 3D printing technology will allow for the production and widespread proliferation of undetectable plastic firearms. Regardless of what a person may be able to publish on the internet, undetectable plastic guns have been illegal for 30 years. Federal law passed in 1988, crafted with the NRA’s support, makes it unlawful to manufacture, import, sell, ship, deliver, possess, transfer, or receive an undetectable firearm.” • Another Fake news story about the Second Amendment -- courtesy of ProgDem Senator Richard Blumenthal. The Seantor amy be ignorant about both 3D-printing technology and firearms, but it is far more likely that he is purposefully misleading the American public in order to further his Progressive anti-gun, anti-Second Amendment agenda. • • • SPEAKING OF GUNS, LET'S TALK CHICAGO. The Daily Caller reported on Monday that : "A weekend shooting spree left 6 dead and over 50 people injured in Chicago, which has left the city in a state of havoc. Sixteen of those shot were said to be teenagers, according to the Chicago Tribune. Fifty-seven people have been shot since Friday at 5 p.m., according to ABC 7 in Chicago. One incident injured a 38-year-old man around 11 a.m. Saturday, who suffered wounds in his lower body, according to the police, the Tribune reported. Two more were shot nearly an hour later with a man in his 50s ended up dead in the hospital. Between 1:30- 5:30 p.m., three men in their 20s were shot separately around the city. Over a dozen were shot early Sunday morning, with some suffering wounds in the stomach, arms or legs. The youngest wounded due to the gun violence was 11-years-old. The last shooting occurred a little before 6 a.m. when a 33-year-old man took shots to both of his legs. One of the shootings happened when two shooters fired at a block party. Several shooters in a separate incident walked up to a courtyard and began firing their guns. Some people were injured in drive-by shootings. The shootings came after the Chicago Police Department declared that the city had experienced a 10% drop in shootings and murders for the month of July. The police plans to expand the department by roughly 1,000 officers to combat crime, ABC 7 reported on Wednesday." • What was so 'special' about this past weekend in Chicago?? We have to turn to American Thinker for the answer. Thomas Lifson wrote on Monday that Chicago was celebrating the new "Barack Obama Day" holiday weekend. Lifson stated : "Saturday, August 4 marked the first ever celebration of a brand new State of Illinois holiday, Barack Obama Day, and Chicagoans commemorated the event in the way they know best : gang shootings....in a burst of gun violence over a seven-hour period from around midnight Saturday to early Sunday morning, according to city police officials. The shootings were 'both random and targeted,' Chicago Police Department patrol division chief Fred Waller told reporters, Reuters reports. Waller added that most of the shootings were related to gang activity....So far, no comments from the holiday honoree himself, from his new mansion in Washington, DC." • Didn't we say yesterday that socialist elites always have a life jacket -- or in Obama's case this weekend, a magical bulletproof vest that transported him far away from his very dangerous 'hometown." BUT, as Thomas Lifson reminds us, Kenya celebrated "Obama Day" November 2008, following the election of Barack Hussein Obama as President of the United States. • • • ONE PROGDEM SENATOR ESCAPED FROM THE PLANTATION. Momentarily. Breitbart reported on Friday that : "Senator Mark Warner, a Virginia Democrat and vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, seems to have strayed from the Democrats’ talking point, reinforced by Obama-era intelligence agencies, that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election specifically to ensure that Donald Trump was victorious. Warner stated : 'This is one where 'there is no Democratic or Republican' answer since clearly the goal of our 'adversaries was not to favor one party' over the other. It was to wreak havoc and 'split divisions.' ” Breitbart states that Warner made those brief closing remarks at the end of last Wednesday’s Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on “foreign influence on social media” that focused significantly on the 2016 election. • But, it seems that Senator Warner was also straying from the GOP-led Intelligence Committee's official position : "The hearing took place nearly one month after Warner’s Senate Intelligence Committee released a seven-page report documenting its initial findings in its investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and affirming a US Intelligence Community report alleging the Russian government specifically sought to aid Donald Trump’s election chances. The committee concluded the Intelligence Community’s assessment that Russia sought to aid President Trump’s election chances was reached in a 'professional and transparent manner.' " • BUT, says Breitbart : "This conclusion is contradicted by an extensive Republican House Intelligence Committee report, and the narrative of Russia seeking to get Trump elected was partially challenged by the recently released book of James Clapper, who served as director of National Intelligence under the Obama administration. It was Clapper’s agency that released the Intelligence Community report. The January 6, 2017 US Intelligence Community (IC) report found the Russian government sought to aid Trump’s 'election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her unfavorably to him.' In the IC report, the NSA assessed the conclusion that Putin favored Trump and worked to get him elected only with a classification of 'moderate confidence,' while the FBI and CIA gave it a 'high confidence' rating. The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence found : 'The difference in confidence levels between the NSA and the CIA and FBI on the assessment that 'Putin and the Russian Government aspired to help President-elect Trump’s election chances' appropriately represents analytic differences and was reached in a professional and transparent manner." • HOWEVER, the Republican House Intelligence Committee’s 250-page report on alleged Russian collusion released in April concluded a yearlong investigation finding NO EVIDNECE that Trump’s presidential campaign colluded with Russia. In fact, the House report finds that the IC assessment of Putin’s strategic intentions for allegedly interfering in the US election to aid Trump 'did not employ proper analytic tradecraft' and contained 'significant intelligence tradecraft failings that undermine confidence' in the judgments, including the failure to 'be independent of political considerations.' " • Breitbart News has reported : "Clapper’s recent book describes numerous shifts in Russia’s alleged attitude toward Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign. At first, Clapper writes that Russia simply opposed Hillary Clinton and didn’t favor one Republican presidential candidate. After Trump seemed initially poised to possibly win, Clapper relates an alleged Russian propaganda effort to aid Trump’s victory in order to defeat Clinton. Toward the final stretch of the presidential campaign, with Trump’s poll numbers falling, Clapper wrote that Russia shifted its position away from aiding Trump and focused mainly on opposing Clinton, even allegedly providing Green Party candidate Jill Stein with more favorable coverage." • The Senate should have read the record of Congress -- all of it -- before its Intellingence Committee -- led by Senator Burr of North Carolina who is not a Trump-friendly Republican -- chooses to parody ProgDem Fake news abotu the 2016 election. Senator Burr has also indicated that there was nothing improper about how the Justice Department obtained its FISA warrant of Carter Page, telling CNN : “There (were) sound reasons as to why judges issued the FISA.” Burr also expressed concern about the recent release of the documents, which was spearheaded by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes. Maybe Burr didn't read the House Intelligence Committee report because he doesn't like Devin Nunes. Does that make Senator Burr a #NeverTrumper Republican??? Is Richard Burr is another Aaron Burr in the making. • • • DEAR READERS, ending on a happy note, let's honor President Trump for honoring America's hard-working members of law enforcement when he stopped his motorcade to personally thank firefighters as he was on his way back to Washington, DC, from Bethpage, New York. The uniquely "Trump" incident occurred on May 23, but the video went viral just this weekend. In the video, President Trump emerges from his limousine clapping. He thanks the firefighters, shakes their hands, and poses for selfies. “Thank you, thank you,” Trump says as excited firefighters eagerly surround him. Trump had been in Bethpage, New York, that day following a forum on illegal immigration, where he paid tribute to families whose loved ones were mtrdered by MS-13 gang members. As BizPac Review pointed out : "Long Island is a hotbed for MS-13 gangs, whose motto is 'Kill, Rape, and Control.' Under Trump, ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has cracked down and arrested numerous violent MS-13 thugs. Any party that wants to abolish America's immigration and customs agency doesn't deserve Americans' support. President Trump has been relentlessly attacked by the ProgDem propagandist media over everything he does or says, but his supporters remain solidly behind the man they elected. And Trump has repeatedly said that he’s grateful and honored by their support. BizPac Review previously reported that in December 2016, the billionaire jumped on a plane late in the evening to speak at a “thank-you” rally for Florida supporters after attending countless meetings earlier that day. Fox Business host Lou Dobbs observes that he has rarely seen a President who worked so hard. “He will not be outworked by anybody,” Dobbs said. “He wasn’t outworked in the primaries or in the general election.” • We know that President Trump promised to work for America during his presidential campaign.
