Immigration Is THE Issue of Our Epoch and It Must Be Returned to Control under the Rule of Law

THE REAL NEWS TODAY IS ALL ABOUT MOLLIE TIBBETTS, ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, PARIS, AND THE SOUTH AFRICA LAND GRAB. There is a common thread, and it is not "racism." • • • AMERICA MOURNS FOR MOLLIE WHILE PROGDEMS MAKE BIZARRE COMMENTS. Fox News reports that : "Mollie Tibbetts died as a result of 'sharp force injuries,' the state medical examiner’s office revealed Thursday, confirming that the body found in a cornfield earlier this week was the missing college student. A preliminary autopsy was conducted on Wednesday. The medical examiner’s office said further examination of her body 'may result in additional findings.' Tibbetts’ body was found by investigators on Tuesday in the Deep River area of Poweshiek County, covered in cornstalks. Cristhian Bahena Rivera, 24, an undocumented immigrant, was charged with first-degree murder on Tuesday in Tibbetts’ death. He’s being held on a $5 million cash-only bond. During his first court appearance Wednesday afternoon, Rivera looked stoic and refused to speak when given the chance. Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation special agent Rick Rahn said authorities believe this was a 'premeditated' attack....Police confirmed on Tuesday that Rivera was seen on surveillance footage driving back and forth in a Chevy Malibu in the area where Tibbetts was running. While a source told Fox News on Wednesday that the vehicle was not registered to Rivera -- sparking concerns others may have been involved -- the Malibu was how investigators tracked down the man, who Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said has been in the US illegally." • According to the defense attorney of the illegal immigrant suspected of murdering Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts, “He was just a part of the community. An all-American boy working really hard,” attorney Allan Richards said to People magazine about his client, Cristhian Bahena Rivera, adding that the 24-year-old illegal immigrant has “no prior criminal record.” But, BizPAc Review pointed out : "Except that because he crossed into the United States illegally and reportedly resided in Iowa for four to seven years, Rivera is by default already a criminal. Moreover, he’s one with no legal status in the United States, meaning he’s not an 'all-American' anything. And lest we forget, the 'all-American boy' needs a translator to during court proceedings so that he can communicate with his lawyer." Richards told People : “Whether or not there was something that happened that was very outrageous, that is a different matter. I have seen no evidence on that at no point and he is presumed innocent until we see it." And again from BizPAc Review : "Except that Richards was lying again. Rivera led investigators to Tibbetts’ body after admitting that he’d interacted with her before her death. He claimed he had then 'blacked out' during this interaction. While this isn’t inconclusive proof of his guilt, it’s more than the 'no evidence' cited by Richards. • Senator Elizabeth Warren, aka Pocahontas, told CNN -- who else -- on Wednesday that she is "so sorry for the family here, and I know this is hard, but one of the things we need to remember here is that we need an immigration system that is effective. That focuses on where real problems are.” Warren's comment pretty well sums up the reaction of the netire Progressive Democrat Party leadership to the callous and apparently premeditated murder of a young American woman whose only error was simply to go out for an early summer evening jog. Senator Pocahontas talked about how illegal immigrant mothers are “lied to” and don’t always know where their children are, and as BizPac Review put it : "never mind that the Tibbetts family, which has been permanently separated from their loved one, will always know where Mollie rests." The extremely leftist ProgDem Senator said : “Last month, I went down to the border, and I saw where children had been taken away from their mothers. I met with their mothers who had been lied to, who didn’t know where their children were, and there was no plan for how they would be reunified. I think we need immigration laws that focus on people who pose a real threat. And I don’t think mamas and babies are the place we should be spending our resources. Separating a mama from a baby does not make this country safer.” There was a massive reaction to Senator Warren's CNN comments. Dana Loesch said : "@DLoesch What a horrible take, @SenWarren . Newsflash: Mollie Tibbetts was separated from her family, permanently, with zero hope ever of reunification on this earth. Kate Steinle was also permanently separated from her family. Their families would say theirs are “real problems.” Monica Crowley said : "@MonicaCrowley So @SenWarren just joined Andrew Cuomo in the Dem 'blowing oneself up politically with outrageously tone-deaf comments' crowd. See: @HillaryClinton's "deplorables" remarks." Val Browning said : "@br_laxdad So Sen Warren doesn't think the murder of a US Citizen is a real problem?" And, Roberto said : "@Pilottr1Roberto Replying to @MattWolking @SenWarren it takes a calloused Democratic scumbag to compare murder with a crisis at the border. 'The real problem” is that people like you with a dangerous ideology are set to destroy America just for votes. You really don’t know the meaning of shame....amazing !!" • Senztor Warrne wasn't alone in attacking America for mourning the death of Mollie Tibbetts. BizPac Review reported on Wednesday : "For liberals, 'black lives matter,' but white lives apparently don’t. That’s what MSNBC guest Christina Greer, a professor at Fordham University, suggested when she callously dismissed Mollie Tibbetts as just 'a girl in Iowa' that 'Fox News is talking about' while referencing Omarosa’s unsubstantiated 'N-word' tape....Meanwhile, CNN and MSNBC both took more than 24 hours to report the domestic violence accusations against Democratic Congressman Keith Ellison (the vice chairman of the DNC) because they didn’t want the news to hurt Ellison’s chances in the Minnesota primary election....Moreover, CNN and MSNBC have still not covered the disturbing story of Kino Jimenez, a burly 30-year-old man who assaulted a scrawny teen for wearing a MAGA hat. The Jimenez news received worldwide press coverage, but according to CNN and MSNBC, the attack never happened....The mainstream media slammed Fox News for airing a live police press conference about Mollie Tibbetts’ brutal murder, which they blithely ignored and then only reluctantly (and briefly) touched on." California Patriot commented : "@TheCalPatriot Do Democrats really want to talk about separating families? Kate Steinle: Killed By An Illegal Alien. Edwin Jackson: Killed By An Illegal Alien. Brandon Mendoza: Killed By An Illegal Alien. Joshua Wilkerson: Killed By An Illegal Alien. Their families will NEVER see them again." • And, Fox News host Tucker Carlson stopped a liberal guest mid-sentence when he played the race card for no reason during a discussion about Mollie Tibbetts. Luis Miranda, former communications director of the DNC (Democratic National Committee), tried to downplay Mollie’s brutal murder because she’s white, saying : “Just this week, we found out that a white man in Denver killed his wife and two beautiful young daughters. Also tragic, this young woman in Iowa whose death is a huge tragedy.” For Tucker Carlson, it’s not about race; it’s about illegal aliens feeling free to break US immigration laws and liberals constantly defending their repeated violations of sovereign US borders and federal laws : “Luis, I didn’t say anything about this man’s race, the story is not about race. Don’t make it about race. Stop that! I was saying this is about nationality and citizenship. This man [Cristhian Bahena Rivera] had no right to be here.” BizPAc Review, reporting on the Carlson interview, said : "Liberals like Luis Miranda constantly invoke race in an effort to silence the millions of Americans who oppose illegal immigration, which not only costs US taxpayers billions of dollars a year, but also results in numerous crimes. For the record, many of the victims of MS-13 gangs are Hispanics....liberals are downplaying Mollie Tibbetts’ tragic murder because it hurts their agenda to allow hordes of illegal aliens to invade the United States while taxpayers subsidize their lives." ProgDemsthink they speak for the Hispanic community in America. They do not. Here's an example -- a comment by Ryan Saavedra : "@RealSaavedra I'm a Hispanic-American and I do NOT want illegal aliens in our country bringing their drugs & crime." • • • THE PROGDEM IMMIGRATION-AS-RACE CARD. A conservative guest columnist, Chris Buskirk, wrote in the New York Times on Friday : "Iowa police announced this week what we long suspected : Mollie Tibbetts, the Iowa college student who was missing for over a month, is dead....Prosecutors have filed first-degree murder charges against Cristhian Rivera, a 24-year-old Mexican who had been working at Yarrabee Farms in Brooklyn, Iowa, since 2014. The police say that Rivera is in the country illegally -- though this has been disputed by his lawyer -- and that he presented fraudulent identification to his employer when he was hired. Anyone really interested in understanding why Trump was elected President should pay careful attention to this episode. We don’t yet know for sure if Rivera is guilty, but the tragedy of the scenario painted by the charges is explosive. The way many people see it, if a foreign national, apparently in the country illegally, kills an American citizen, it underscores the urgency of Trump’s message of putting Americans first. In other words, the murder of Mollie Tibbetts was not only ugly and evil, it was unnecessary and utterly preventable by government action. Some supporters of amnesty for illegal immigrants already in the country, as well as increased legal immigration, don’t seem to be able to acknowledge the reality of Tibbetts’ murder. Senator Elizabeth Warren is a case in point. Rather than admit during a CNN interview that our failure to enforce our immigration laws and control the border contributed to Tibbetts’ death, she changed the subject. After saying that she was “so sorry for the family here,” Warren argued that “we need an immigration system that is effective, that focuses on where real problems are,” in effect casting those crossing the border illegally as the “real” victims. Make no mistake, it’s not only Democrats who have a problem here. Pro-immigration Republicans like Paul Ryan and Jeff Flake aren’t much better. Callous disregard for families like the Tibbettses is one of the reasons that President Trump’s common-sense talk about immigration reform resonates with many Americans. Trump remains one of the only national leaders of either party to address major social, political and economic issues of the utmost importance. This is why the Tibbetts case matters not only because of the murder, but because of its social and economic context....Trump has spoken about raising the real wages of working-class Americans and establishing the conditions for employment security and higher pay, for which border security is a predicate. Establishment Republicans of the Ryan-Flake genus don’t prioritize protecting our borders or the interests of American workers because they misunderstand and misapply libertarian ideas -- and they are cowed by corporate interests dependent upon cheap labor. Unfortunately, this has become the norm....James Piereson, a political scientist who is a senior fellow at The Manhattan Institute, describes “Socialism As a Hate Crime” in The New Criterion. Given socialism’s bloody track record, the misery it has imposed upon the citizens of countries like Venezuela in recent years and its curious popularity among know-nothing millennials and aging boomers, Piereson’s piece is both necessary and timely." • Back on August 8, Gateway Pundit's Jim Hoft by Jim Hoft reported : "Minority leader Nancy Pelosi told supporters in El Paso, Texas, a border city on the US-Mexico divide, that Democrats give 'leverage' to illegals. What an AMAZING ADMISSION! And, of course, she conflates legal immigration with illegal immigration. Nancy Pelosi : 'I don’t want to be political here....And so because this is the right thing to do, I have confidence that we will get where we need to go. But everything is about time and we want to shorten the distance as your question indicated between what we think is inevitable for America. They think is inconceivable but we believe that we can get this done. We are not going to be able to get it done under the Republican leadership in Congress. We believe that we will have leverage when we win in November. And why is that important? Because it gives leverage to every family, to every mom who courageously brought her child across the desert to escape, to escape death, rape, gang violence and the rest. Because it gives hope, because of the leverage it gives to families who may have followed dad home for a family funeral and now can’t come into the country. As all of those injustices have to be corrected. There’s a path and that path is greatly brightened by the knowledge that is in this community who sees first hand simple solutions which make a big difference in people’s lives. And so we’re getting ready for this and it’s only to come back to a place that honors our values, recognizes the importance of immigration to the success of America." We are tempted to say that Pelosi is an incoherent fool -- she is not. She represents the thinking nad agends of the Progressive Democrat Party. I often label some Democrats ProgDems -- in fact, all Democrats who continue to stand by these extremist, anti-law anti-border leaders are ProgDems. THere are options -- become Independent or join the GOP and try to knock some legislative sense into the Progressive Democrat Party by passing reasonalbe and constitutinoal immigration legislation. This is not brain surgery !! It is just common sense. • • • WHAT HAPPENS WHEN BORDERS CEASE TO EXIST? Fox News reported in late July that Paris suburbs have become home to 300,000 illegal immigrants. Fox News was quoting a UK Sun qrticle on a French parliamentary report. In the report, politicians warn that Seine-Saint-Denis, northeast of Paris, could be turned into a “huge ethnic ghetto” within two decades due to the surging numbers. The report said the suburb -- just 6 miles from the Eiffel Tower -- is putting a huge strain on public services and creating social tensions. There are an estimated 135 different nationalities in Saint-Denis, most extremely poor, including an estimated 600,000 Moslems from North African or sub-Saharan African backgrounds, according to the Daily Mail. The official legal population in Saint-Denis is estimated at 1.5 million. But the roprt says the numbers continue to rise, as an estimated 80 migrants arrive in Paris every 24 hours -- 550 a week. • Paris became an illegal immigrant target after the French government of François Hollande broke up the refugee camp in Calais. Thousands of migrants moved to suburbs in the capital where charities say hundreds of children are sleeping rough. The Sun says : "Seine-Saint-Denis is popular with immigrants because of its location and efficient transport links, including the railway lines heading toward the North coast, and Britain. It’s also only a few hours from the Channel ports of Calais and Dunkirk. In May French riot police cleared more than 1,000 migrants and refugees from a makeshift canal in Saint-Denis, where they had been sleeping under bridges." • Rodrigue Koukouendo, from President Emmanuel Macron’s centrist party, and François Cornut-Gentille from the center-Right Republicans, who authored the report, want the government to review France’s ban on gathering data on the ethnic make-up of the population. They want illegal immigrants entering France to be better monitored and regulated. They wrote : “To identify urban phenomena of ghettoisation, to explain educational difficulties, to combat discrimination and to adapt the resources of the police and the judiciary to a specific population, the question of establishing so-called ethnic statistics is raised.” French law currently prohibits the collection of data based on race, ethnicity or religion. Between 8 and 20% of Seine-Saint-Denis’s population is not registered with the authorities and many turn to crime or the “black economy” to earn money. The report says plans must be put in place to tackle poverty, high unemployment and trafficking of people and drugs which is rife in some districts. • Paris is rapidly deteriorating under the very socialist Mayor Hidalgo, a close friend of former French President Hollande. It is a disgrace because Paris is -- or was -- a truly great city, and the French are very angry but can do nothing. • • • PRESIDENT TRUMP AND IMMIGRATION CONTROL AND REFORM. Establishment Republicans and anti-Trump journalists were stunned when President Trump tweeted that he would be willing to risk a government shutdown in order to secure funding for his border wall. The President tweeted on July 29 : "@realDonaldTrump I would be willing to “shut down” government if the Democrats do not give us the votes for Border Security, which includes the Wall! Must get rid of Lottery, Catch & Release etc. and finally go to system of Immigration based on MERIT! We need great people coming into our Country!" • Conventional wisdom in political and media circles is that the Republican Party will pay the price for a government shutdown. This is Fake news. In 1996, the election immediately after the 1995 government shutdown -- that the media claims re-elected Bill Clinton -- the GOP gained two seats in the Senate. And in 2014, after the media claimed the GOP committed political suicide after shutting down the government over defunding Obamacare, the Republican Party gained 9 Senate seats and seized control of the chamber. That context is important in discussing why Trump would want to threaten a government shutdown. • Rush Limbaugh explained his rationale on his show and pointed out the obvious -- that elections are contests of base mobilization and nothing fires up the GOP base more than immigration : "Because, folks, all Trump has right now is his base. That’s his line of defense. That’s his wall. The people that are gonna vote against Trump -- i.e., vote against Republicans -- are not gonna be bought off with a little policy offer here or a policy offer there. I mean, this is for all the marbles. Trump needs everybody that voted for him for president showing up and voting Republican again." • And the President needs more. If Republicans want to hold on to the House and grow their Senate majority, they need their base’s enthusiasm to match that of the Democrats. Immigration was the issue that powered Trump and the GOP to victory in 2018. If the GOP wants to maintain control of Congress in November it is logical that they should make the election an all-out fight over building the wall and securing the border is the GOP’s best chance. • • • WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A WHITE MINORITY CONTROLS THE ECONOMY? Look at South Africa. On March 1, 2018, South Africa's parliament passed a motion that could lead to the seizure of land from white farmers without paying them compensation. President Trump had tweeted early on Thursday : “I have asked Secretary of State @SecPompeo to closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers. 'South African Government is now seizing land from white farmers'@TuckerCarlson @FoxNews." The Daily Caller wrote later on Thrusday : "South Africa accused President Donald Trump of stoking racial division Thursday after the President suggested his administration would study the country’s policy of seizing farmers’ land. The government blasted Trump’s tweet calling out land seizures in South Africa. It called the president’s message 'false information' that reflects a 'narrow perception which only seeks to divide our nation and reminds us of our colonial past.'....South Africa is leaping headlong into a racially charged debate over land reform, which lawmakers believe will correct the legacy of white minority rule that stripped black South Africans of their land. The country is offering white farmers meager compensation for the property. The country seizes the land if the farmers refuse to sell out. Black South Africans make up about 80% of the population but own just 4% of the country’s land, according to government officials. Lawmakers approved the motion in March brought by the radical Marxist Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party as part of a so-called 'land reform' program to even the disparity in ownership between South Africa’s black majority and white minority. Some lawmakers in the opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) party, along with agricultural economists, worry South Africa is taking the same path Zimbabwe did when it initiated its own mass land expropriation program in the early 2000s. Zimbabwe, under former dictator Robert Mugabe, seized and redistributed land from about 4,000 white farmers to landless black people to compensate them for years of colonial rule. Zimbabwe’s land confiscation destroyed the country’s once thriving agricultural sector and forced the government to rely on international aid to feed 25M of its population. Between 2000 and 2009, agricultural revenue declined by $12 billion, the Washington Post reported, citing Zimbabwe’s commercial farmers’ union." • The New York Times Editorial Board called President Trump’s tweet a "Vile Ploy on South Africa." The President, according to the NYT Editorial Board, "gets his intelligence briefings from Fox News" -- maybe they should, it would improve their Fact-to-Fake news ratio a lot. Anyway, the NYT Editorial Board opined that Trump's tweet "repeats a white nationalist myth about murders of white South African farmers. Trust President Trump...to come down hard on the wrong side of an issue he knows nothing about, based on no more than a slanted Fox News program....His source was a grossly one-sided report by the Fox host Tucker Carlson asserting that the South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa, was seizing land from his citizens because they are the wrong 'skin color.' There have been no large-scale killings of white farmers, and Mr. Ramaphosa’s proposal to change the Constitution to allow expropriation of land without compensation has not yet passed. That said, the issue does deserve a close look. There can be no question that South Africa’s black people were long denied fair access to land. The Natives Land Act of 1913 essentially reserved most of the land to the white minority, and the restrictions became more onerous in the apartheid era. When that system was finally dismantled almost 25 years ago, a new Constitution did provide for land reform, but the process has moved slowly. Statistics vary, but what is clear is that whites, who are less than 10% of the population, continue to own more than two-thirds of the land, while black South Africans, the overwhelming majority, own a much smaller share. That 'highly skewed' distribution of land and productive assets, according to the World Bank, contributes heavily to making South Africa 'the world’s most unequal country.' This does not mean that expropriation without compensation is a wise remedy, especially in light of the disastrous consequences such action had in undermining the economy in neighboring Zimbabwe. Nor does it absolve the African National Congress for the corruption that has infected the governing party after more than two decades of virtually unchallenged rule, most egregiously under Jacob Zuma, who was ousted as president in February and is on trial on charges of fraud and racketeering. Mr. Ramaphosa argued in an op-ed article in The Financial Times that his proposal was 'no land grab,' and that the ANC’s land reform program would not undermine investment in the economy or damage agricultural production. The constitutional amendment he is seeking, he said, would strengthen the existing rules by making explicit the conditions under which land could be expropriated without compensation....Yet Mr. Trump’s tweet, and the Fox show on which it was based, were bereft of any context, sympathy or understanding. They pounced, instead, on the false narratives of right-wing white South African groups claiming widespread seizures of white-owned land and a continuing 'white genocide.' " NOTE to the NYT Editorial Board -- if you actually had read President Trump's tweet, he does not use the word "genocide," nor did Tucker Carlson. • Reuters reported on Thursday : "The United States warned South Africa on Thursday that seizing land without compensation risked sending the country down the wrong path, deepening a spat over Pretoria’s efforts to fix a glaring racial disparity almost 25 years after the end of apartheid. South Africa accused US President Donald Trump on Thursday of stoking racial divisions in a late-night tweet in which he said he had asked US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to study South African 'land and farm seizures' and the 'killing of farmers.' Washington’s charge d’affaires in South Africa, Jessye Lapenn, was summoned by the ministry of foreign affairs over the tweet, people familiar with the matter told Reuters. Trump’s comments inflamed an already heated debate over land ownership in South Africa, a country that remains deeply racially divided and unequal nearly a quarter of a century after Nelson Mandela swept to power at the end of the apartheid era." Reuters also quoted the statement made by US State Department spokeswoman Heather Nuaert : “The expropriation of land without compensation, our position is that would risk sending South Africa down the wrong path. We continue to encourage a peaceful and transparent public debate about what we consider to be a very important issue in South Africa.” • South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said in early August that the country would not make the same mistakes that other countries have made, alluding to the violent land seizures seen in neighbouring Zimbabwe. US Republican Senator Jeff Flake, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Africa subcommittee, said : “All of us would be concerned if they went the direction that Zimbabwe did. Right now it’s just a proposal in parliament.” Senator Cory Booker, the top Democrat on the Africa subcommittee, said Trump’s tweet showed a “painful ignorance.” Reuters noted that "The ANC has long had a strained relationship with the US Republican administration, mainly over US support for Israel." BUT, AfriForum, which mostly champions white people’s rights in South Africa, welcomed Trump’s announcement. AfriForum’s CEO, Kallie Kriel, said : “Everyone in South Africa should therefore hope that the pressure from the USA will lead to the ANC reconsidering the disastrous route that they want to take SA on.” Kriel added that Trump’s comment came just three months after the organization sent a delegation to the United States to brief Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson, and the Cato Institute think tank, on the situation in South Africa. Violent crime is a serious problem across South Africa and 47 farmers were killed in 2017-18, according to statistics from AgriSA. However, the same figures show that farm murders are at a 20-year low. Independent political analyst Nic Borain says : “Reforming the land distribution and ownership will be good for South Africa. That there will be instability and worries about property rights is inevitable, but we don’t expect that the government will act in a way that radically destabilises investor security.” • The UK Daily Mail offered some facts last week : "South Africa 'draws up a list of almost 200 farms it will seize from white farmers' as ANC head says land should be taken from those with over 12,000 hectares WITHOUT compensation. Lobby group AfriForum claimed to have a list of 195 farms earmarked for seizure. But South Africa's government denied the claim saying the document was false The rand fell after the ruling ANC's chair said owners should have land seized." The Daily Mail quoted Reuters : "South Africa's government has been accused of earmarking almost 200 farms for seizure from their white owners as the chair of the African National Congress said the state should take land from those who own more than 12,000 hectares (25,000 qcres). The rand fell on financial markets after ANC chair Gwede Mantashe, an ally of President Cyril Ramaphosa, said this week that major landowners should have their land taken without compensation. AfriForum, a lobby group which mainly represents white South Africans, claimed to have a list of 195 farms which the government was planning to seize. But the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform denied the claim, saying there was 'no truth to this document.'....Ownership patterns remain highly emotive as the government has been slow to transfer land to the black majority after centuries of colonial and racial oppression. The ANC's plans to amend the constitution to redistribute land have been interpreted negatively by some investors, who see them as undermining property rights. The ruling party has sought to assuage those fears by saying that land reform will follow a parliamentary process." • It's hard to argue that when ANC Chairman Gwede Mantashe, who is also SA's powerful mines minister, said "You shouldn't own more than 12,000 hectares of land and therefore if you own more, it should be taken without compensation," the rand fell more than 3% against the dollar. The Daily Mail says the ANC is under pressure to make headway with land reform ahead of next year's national election, where the ultra-left Economic Freedom Fighters party has made faster land redistribution one of its main policies. The 12,000 hectare land ownership limit was mooted in 2016, by then-rural development minister Gugile Nkwinti. But Nkwinti said the government would seek to buy, not expropriate without compensation, land from those owning more than 12,000 hectares. AfriForum has criticised the ANC's decision to endorse constitutional changes to allow the state to seize land without compensation, saying the move would be 'catastrophic.' " • How catastrophic?? The UK Express reported on Wednesday that South Africa’s proposed new policy of seizing privately-owned land without compensation : "could torpedo the country’s economy if farmers stop investing and paying off debts, the state-owned Land Bank has warned. Land Bank is an agricultural bank guided by a government mandate to provide financial services to the commercial farming sector and agri-business....A record number of white South African farmers have put their land up for sale amid fears the ruling party is considering confiscating properties bigger than 25,000 acres. A poorly executed expropriation without compensation could result in the main sources of funding drying up....Land Bank chairman Arthur Moloto said expropriation without compensation would immediately cost the bank £480m. He said : 'A cross default clause would be triggered should we fail to pay when these debts fall due because of inadequate liquidity or lack of alternative sources of funding. This would make our entire funding portfolio due and payable immediately, which we would not be able to settle. Consequently, government intervention would be required to settle our lenders.” Mr Moloto said a badly-run land reform program would hurt his bank’s capital : “A poorly executed expropriation without compensation could result in the main sources of funding drying up as investors might not be willing to continue funding Land Bank in particular, or agriculture in general.” • The UK Express gave statistics not often reoprted : "Tensions among South Africa’s white farming community has been escalating since the election of Cyril Ramaphosa as President earlier the year, who committed his African National Congress (ANC) to land expropriation. White South Africans fear a Zimbabwe-style land-grab." Arutz Sheva (Israelnationalnews.com) eported on August 7 that : "15,000 Boers plan move to Russia from South Africa. Russia welcomes Afrikaners : 15,000 Boers plan move to Russia from South Africa. Absorption considered after series of murders South African government accused of encouraging. As the death toll rises monthly among South Africa's Afrikaners -- often horribly slaughtered and mutilated in hate-crimes -- 15,000 of them are considering mass migration to Russia. Russia's humanitarian absorption of migrant refugees is being weighed after a series of murders the South African government has been accused of encouraging, and that have made farming in South Africa the most deadly occupation in the world. South African farm killings, where victims are typically members of the country’s white, Afrikaans-speaking minority, are often extremely brutal in nature, involving prolonged periods of torture....The murders are little-reported even within South Africa itself -- the government directed police to stop releasing information about victims’ ethnicity in 2007. 'Often, they only count the farmer and not his wife and children that were also attacked or murdered,' South African missionary Charl Van Wyk told World Net Daily in an interview. According to Breitbart, 1,187 farmers, 490 family members, 147 farm employees, and 24 farm visitors are known to have been murdered between 1998 and the end of 2016 -- although the true figure is estimated at between 3,000 and 4,000. White South Africans fear the killings have the tacit support of the ruling African National Congress, with President Jacob Zuma defending the singing of the revolutionary song Kill the Farmer, Kill the Boer, and one his MPs crying out 'Bury them alive!' during a parliamentary debate. 'These songs cannot be regarded as hate speech or unconstitutional,' ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe said in response to subsequent outrage. 'Any judgment that describes them as such is impractical and unimplementable.' ” • TheWeek.co.uk reports : “ 'It’s clear that the process towards land expropriation without compensation is largely driven by the ANC political expediency,' says Jannie Rossouw in The Conversation. 'South Africans need look no further than Zimbabwe for an example of a land programme that can go badly wrong' he writes, arguing that 'Zimbabwe’s land expropriation without compensation policy ended up being a land grab in which powerful politicians, and other connected people, simply commandeered farms, including buildings, equipment, crops and livestock.' 'There have also been warnings about Venezuela' says the BBC, where land was redistributed from the rich to the poor more than a decade ago with the aim of boosting production. As a caution to South Africa, this has seen the Latin American country go from producing 70% of its food to importing 70% of it, according to the Confederation of Associations of Agricultural Producers." • As early as March, the Australian government was considering fast-tracking visas for white South African farmers amid reports of land seizures and violence across the African nation. Australia's then-Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton told Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph that white farmers “deserve special attention,” and that his department is looking into fast-tracking their path to Australia on humanitarian or other visa programs. According to information obtained by Sky News Australia, white farmers in South Africa are being murdered at a rate of more than one per week. Dutton said : “If you look at the footage and read the stories, you hear the accounts, it’s a horrific circumstance they face....The people we’re talking about want to work hard, they want to contribute to a country like Australia. We want people who want to come here, abide by our laws, integrate into our society, work hard, not lead a life on welfare. And I think these people deserve special attention and we’re certainly applying that special attention now. From what I have seen, they do need help from a civilized country like ours.” • • • DEAR READERS, despite the cries from Progressives and Globalists that conservatives are "racist" and "white supremacists" because we call for reasonable immigration policies and laws, the issue is not race. It is immigration -- THE issue of our epoch. Mollie Tibbetts' murderer. Paris falling prey to illegal immigrants. South Africa's and Zimbabwe's black majorities taking revenge on centuries-old European immigrants. President Trump's demand for secure borders and a Wall. • Europe and the United States have for almost a century taken in and tried to assimilate immigrants. It worked when the immigrants were legal entries who wanted to assimilate and adapt to their new homes. Then, with the rise of Progressive socialism and their realization that illegal immigrants were their ticket to voter majorities because these immigrants could be bought with state entitlements, the game changed. Progressives mounted a groundswell of opposition to any kind of immigration control or order. Their message of totally open borders, coupled with a cynical elitist use of illegals as stormtroopers for "equal" -- that is, superior -- rights for anyone entering their country, has led to outcast status for conservatives. We who regard the rule of law and safety in our streets as paramount, who regard immigration as a privilege not a right, now pay an overwhelming political and social price for appearing to be against mass immigration. But, pay it we must. The survival of democratic institutions and the rule of law -- and the survival of white Americans and Europeans -- depends on our ability to succeed in bringing immigration policies and laws into order, even while being vilified by those who want to end our God-given democratic rights and liberties.

  1. Our borders on all 4 sides are being daily riddled with premeditated law breakers. Law breakers that are to a minute percentage destitute to hold a life together. To provide for a family that is in need of the bare essentials of a life. A simple life that never given them a break or dealt them a winning hand.

Heads of households must feel incompetent and beaten. Single parents have to have given up a long time ago. And yet they keep producing more and more children as if it’s their only affordable form of entertainment. Or maybe propagating will bring them and theirs heavenly rewards. Well it won’t. And breaking our laws will and coming here to live in the shadows will only increase the feeling of failure.

So we , the citizens of the United States must set the bar higher and remove the idea to all 3rd world inhabitants that we are nit the answer or solution to your problems. Never have been and never will be. Their problems lie in them for not being ready for life and in their countries leadership for not providing.

Potential immigrants should first learn that caught they will be separated from their also illegal families, they will be in jail and if things are done right their families will be quickly back in their homeland mist likely to be street urchins.

  3. Immigration and/or Diversity - one gives us the other, and the other weakens our special American traits.

We live in an age where the wisdom of the past is thrown out, disregarded. The object of the hysteria surrounding illegal border crossers is to force open borders on the nation under the guise of compassion for children. A Federal District Court judge in Southern California has discovered a substantive due process right guaranteeing the right to “family integrity” lurking in the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment and has ordered all children reunited with their illegal immigrant parents. Obviously the judge expects the parents to be released from incarceration to join their children, but the Trump administration seems determined to keep parents and children together in detention centers until legal proceedings determine their fate.

Our progressive politicians and opinion leaders proclaim their commitment to diversity almost daily, chanting the same refrain: “Diversity is our strength.” This is the gospel according to political correctness. But how does diversity strengthen us? Is it a force for unity and cohesiveness? Or is it a source of division and contention? Does it promote the common good and the friendship that rests at the heart of citizenship? Or does it promote racial and ethnic division and something resembling the tribalism that prevents most of the world from making constitutional government a success? When is the last time we heard anyone in Washington talk about the common good? We are used to hearing talk about the various stakeholders and group interests, but not much about what the nation has in common.

Greater diversity means inevitably that we have less in common, and the more we encourage diversity the less we honor the common good. Any honest and clear-sighted observer should be able to see that diversity is a solvent that dissolves the unity and cohesiveness of a nation—and we should not be deceived into believing that its proponents do not understand the full impact of their advocacy!

Political correctness could have been stopped dead in its tracks over three decades ago, but Republicans refused to kill it when they had the opportunity. In the presidential election campaign of 1980, Ronald Reagan promised to end affirmative action with the stroke of a pen by rescinding the executive order, issued by Lyndon Johnson, which created it. This promise was warmly received by the electorate in that election. But President Reagan failed to deliver his promised repeal. Too many Republicans had become convinced that they could use affirmative action to their advantage—that the generosity associated with racial class entitlements would attract minorities to the Republican Party. By signing on to this regime of political correctness, Republicans were never able to mount an effective opposition to its seemingly irresistible advance. Exactly the logic of The ProgDem, Swampers, and the Hillary Gang.

  4. The American people can, of course, consent to allow others to join the compact that created the American nation, but they have the sovereign right to specify the terms and conditions for granting entry and the qualifications for citizenship. Presumably the qualifications for entry and naturalization will be whether those who wish to enter demonstrate a capacity to adopt the habits, manners, independence, and self-reliance of republican citizens and devotion to the principles that unite the American people. Furthermore, it would be unreasonable not to expect that potential immigrants should possess useful skills that will ensure that they will not become victims of the welfare state.

Immigration policies should serve the interests of the American people and of the nation—they should not be viewed as acts of charity to the world. Putting America first is a rationnal goal.

  5. I happen to believe that the biggest mistake that President Bush. Add immediately post 9-11 was nit halting ALL IMMIGRATION, thereby getting 3-5 years to get a handle on immigrants a,ready here illegally and setting a new policy for legal immigration.

After all the United States could and would survive a few years of no immigration at all. We do produce talent daily, in excess.

Foreign countries don’t go after American talent to immigrate to their country because of a perceived language barrier. But we are expected to accept their cast offs with a language problem that Americans deal with daily from their people’s lack of English.

America is not a bottomless pit of needed gardener jobs, car wash attendants, or fast food order takes. Those use to be students jobs.
