The Democrat Party : A Bunch of Political Prostitutes

PROSTITUTION. Merriam-Webster deifines the term thus : "the act or practice of engaging in promiscuous sexual relations especially for money. 2 : the state of being prostituted : DEBASEMENT. Examples of Prostitution in a Sentence : She was arrested for prostitution. Writing commercials was a prostitution of his talents." • Although we tend to use the word to describe sexual acts for payment, we also often use the word to mean debasing oneself by doing or saying things that are below our own standards or level of intelligence. For example, it is pretty clear that Germans prostituted themselves at Hitler's feet. And, in the Swamp that is Washington, politicians prostitute themselves for campaign contributions, for party position, and for re-election. • What we are now witnessing is the prostitution of an entire political party for its goal of destroying Donald Trump. It is not pretty, it is not salutory, to watch the entire Democrat Party prostitute itself. These are times when those of us who still cling to some sense of political dignity, the spectacle is more distressing than we can find words for. • The Democrat Party has singled out Senator Dianne Feinstein as its Prostitute-in-Chief. She was chosen because she possessed a letter from a woman in her state -- Californication as the TV show called it -- whose charges could be used to further the cause of destroying Donald Trump. Instead of refusing to play the Democrat card, Feinstein stepped up, dangled the letter in the face of Senator Grassley and the entire American public and, in so many words, said 'prove it is not true.' • That is political prostitution. There is no way to "prove" that Christine Basley Ford was assaulted. There is no way to "prove" that she didn't talk about the 'incident' for 30 years out of shame or fear of reprisals. There is no way to"prove" anything about her vague charges that are forgetful in all the right places. • But, Dianne Feinstein sits smugly in her Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member seat and smirks "prove" it. Judge Brett Kavanaugh is her and the Democrat Party's prey only because of the convenience of the letter. He is the pawn whose life the Democrats are trying to ruin because he was named to the Supreme Court by President Trump and they detest President Trump, a man as innocent of their larger overarching charges as Brett Kavanaugh is innocent of their specific charges. • And, unless we believe that these Democrat Swamp Creatures are brainless serpents, we have to realize that they are liars. Liars who do not care that they are ruining a good and decent man's life. Liars who do not care that their charges against him are Fake. Liars who do not care that the President they want to destroy is actually doing mightily good things for the America they ought to want to support. • • • A HIGH STAKES POLITICAL GAMBLE. The Democrat Party leadership knows that the Kavanaugh charges raise not legal but constitutional questions. There is no open case against him and no criminal charges accepted by a court or the FBI or a local police entity, so there is no legal aspect to what we are witnessing. Kavanaugh is not accused in a legal sense. He is accused by the Democrats of being unsuitable for the Supreme Court in a constitutional sense. They know that this means that Kavanaugh has the "rights" that Senator Grassley and the GOP majority on the Judiciary Committee give him. Grassley is trying to let him face his accuser but the Democrats keep putting up roadblocks, using tactics not subject to law but to the rules of the Senate. This may seem too nitpicky but it is THE point Grassley keeps making -- only the Senate has the constitutional authority to decide if Kavanaugh is fit to be a Supreme Court justice. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said it in one short sentence : “Now an accusation of 36-year-old misconduct dating back to high school has been brought forward at the last minute in an irregular manner.” "An irregular manner." That is a Senate insider's shorthand way of saying that the Democrat / Feinstein action is late in the confirmation process and did not follow Senate rules of order. The Democrat Prostitutes are hoping that Senate Republicans will be too timid to call their bluff. They hope their letter brandished about by Feinstein without so much as offering an un-redacted copy to the Chairman of her Committee will act as the matador's feint, and the poor GOP suckers will rush through it and find only space and no target on the other side of the red cape. • • • ENTER PRESIDENT TRUMP. The President is the only support the Senate Republicans have in a procedural sense. Brett Kavanaugh is his nominee. They were carrying out their constitutionally mandated job of vetting him. There were no barriers to his confirmation. AND, then, the letter appeared in Feinstein's prostituted hands. The Senate Republican leadership are competent to fight and win the battle with the minority Democrats and their Prostitute-in-Chief, but they need to know that the President will not suddenly pull his nomination back. That would be a double blow to their leadership and to their confidence. • So, it was critically important for the President to state clearly his support for Kavanaugh -- that is, for the GOP Senate leadeship. He did just that on Thursday night. President Trump was in Las Vegas to speak at a “Make America Great Again” rally Thursday night when he told Fox News he thinks Brett Kavanaugh is "an outstanding person" who deserves a vote on his Supreme Court nomination, adding : "I don't think you can delay it any longer." Trump added that Ford should be given an opportunity to "have her say and let’s see how it all works out. But I don’t think you can delay it any longer. They’ve delayed it a week already. I say, let her say what she has to say. And let's see how it all comes out. But they’ve delayed it a week. And they have to get on with it." • That is Trumpese for there is a set of Senate rules, Senator Grassley knows how to use them, so let's have a vote to release Kavanaugh's nomination to the entire Senate and get on with confirming him. • • • POLITICAL PROSTITUTES SCRUBBING HISTORY AWAY. American Thinker's Thomas Lifson wrote on Thursday that : "Since high school keg parties at the elite prep schools attended by Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey are now a matter of consuming interest to the Democrat-media complex, it is perhaps telling that the high school yearbooks of Holton-Arms, the school attended by Blasey, have been scrubbed from the web. The blog Cult of the First Amendment says : 'On Monday September 17th, Christine Blasey Ford's high school yearbooks suddenly disappeared from the web. I read them days before, knew they would be scrubbed, and saved them. Why did I know they would be scrubbed? Because if roles were reversed, and Christine Blasey Ford had been nominated for the Supreme Court by President Trump, the headline by the resistance would be this : CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD AND THE DRUNKEN WHITE PRIVILEGED RACIST PLAYGIRLS OF HOLTON-ARMS. And it would be an accurate headline. That's why the yearbooks have been scrubbed. They are a testament to the incredible power these girls had over their teachers, parents and the boys of Georgetown Prep, Landon and other schools in the area....[in the scrubbed yearbook pages there are] multiple photos and references to binge drinking and the accompanying joy of not being able to remember any of it. The most revealing page in that regard is this one, which seems to indicate that drunken keg parties were a frequent pastime for the Holton- Arms girls....These yearbooks are, therefore, relevant to the national investigation now being conducted in the media, in homes, and in the halls of Congress. And they should not have been scrubbed. If Brett Kavanaugh's yearbooks are fair game, so are these....The resistance media has been singularly focused on Brett Kavanaugh's high school yearbooks, which imply that he got drunk and threw up. There's no need to imply anything from the Holton-Arms yearbooks. It's all there in focus, and the written word too. All of the sordid details as approved for publication by a 'look the other way' faculty. And now it's available for historical/evidentiary review....Christine 'Chrissy' Blasey alleges she cannot recall the exact date, place or names of people who were at the party in question. This research is intended to refresh her recollection and the recollections of others who may recall key facts....If drunken keg parties were so common, isn't it possible that over the last three decades, some memories could have been confused? Especially since the first time Blasey Ford – a leftist political activist – apparently 'recovered' the memory and claims to have spoken of the allegation was when it was believed that Kavanaugh might be appointed to the Supreme Court?" • There is also the as yet unaddressed fact that Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford turns out to have ties to an abortion pill pharmaceutical company called Corcept Therapeutics. This discovery brings to light an obvious conflict of interest in Blasey’s story, revealing that she works for a pharmaceutical company that manufacturers an abortion pill drug, whose profits could be strongly impacted by future Supreme Court decisions on abortion rights. InfoWars reports that : "Corcept Therapeutics (Corcept.com) manufacturers and markets an abortion pill drug called mifepristone, and Christine Blasey Ford is a co-author of at least eight published scientific papers produced by the pharmaceutical giant to promote its pills. You can see Blasey’s name listed on several publications at this Corcept.com web page detailing their research papers. Corcept Therapeutics, Inc., a $166 billion market cap company (stock symbol CORT) reportedly has current annual sales of $216 million. The company offers just one drug, mifepristone, which is widely known as an “abortion pill” or RU-486....It is a covert 'abortion drug,' in other words. If Kavanaugh were to be confirmed on the US Supreme Court and be part of a decision that overturns Roe vs. Wade, it would make the prescribing of Corcept’s drug for abortion illegal, directly impacting the bottom line profits of the company for which Christine Blasey works....Before going public with her baseless accusations against Brett Kavanaugh, Christine Blasey scrubbed her internet history, removing her Linked In pages and even managing to have her entire high school year book completely removed from the internet....The reasons for Blasey working so hard to scrub her own history are obvious : Even while she claims that Kavanaugh’s history should be researched and brought to light, she didn’t want anyone looking into her own history, including her wild, alcohol-induced party days and her ties with Corcept Therapeutics and its abortion pill drug profits. But the ties cannot elude internet researchers like Natural News. A Palo Alto University document from 2015 (see page 97) confirms that Christine Blasey, Ph.D. is a professor at Palo Alto University and a 'Director of Biostatistics at Corcept Therapeutics.'....Blasey also appears on numerous published studies at PubMed, where her author ID is 19888560. These studies are all funded by Corcept Therapeutics of Menlo Park, CA. They all center around uses of mifepristone for uses beyond the typical 'abortion pill' application....Now the truth comes out: Blasey is a paid researcher for an abortion pill company with a lot to lose if Kavanaugh is confirmed to the US Supreme Court. According to the left-wing media which has proven itself to be an activist propaganda network that opposes all conservatives like Kavanaugh, Christine Blasey’s story is a simple case of an alleged sexual assault in high school. Despite the fact that Blasey herself says she cannot remember where or when this alleged assault occurred, we are all told her allegations are instantly credible because she’s a woman (and because it’s popular to hate conservatives). What we’re never told, of course, is that Christine Blasey works for a multi-million-dollar pharmaceutical company that manufacturers an abortion pill drug." Over the years, Democrats have found that their cultural demands are very often rejected by the due process of lawmakers, and Democrats have come to rely heavily on Supreme Court decisions to achieve their demanded goals of legalized abortion, legalized gay marriage, legalized Obamacare and other issues which cannot withstand the scrutiny of reasoned debated by lawmakers. Thus, the Supreme Court has been the Democrats’ 'hammer' to drive through its priority achievements, even when Congress would reject such ideas. In turn, this represents a threat to Corcept Therapeutics, the drug company at which Christine Blasey has worked for years, helping to produce research that expands the company’s market reach and drug applications. Now it all becomes clear: Christine Blasey clearly fabricated the false allegations against Kavanaugh in order to protect her own income and profits coming from an abortion pill drug company whose future may be impacted by Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the court. Blasey’s accusation flies in the face of literally hundreds of other men and women who have personally endorsed Kavanaugh as one of the most respectful, ethical and gentlemanly individuals they’ve ever met. Now we know why Blasey’s accusation against Kavanaugh is so out of character for Kavanaugh: Because Blasey has a financial motivation to defeat Kavanaugh and keep him off the US Supreme Court. After all, potentially billions of dollars in Corcept profits are on the line. And Blasey has the advantage of being able to level a hazy, baseless allegation that is impossible to refute and impossible to investigate (which is why even the FBI has refused to launch an investigation into the alleged incident)." • • • THE ON-AGAIN OFF-AGAIN TESTIMONY. Fox News reported Thursday evening that lawyers for Christine Blasey Ford say she's willing to talk under the right terms : "According to an email sent by her attorney Debra Katz and first obtained by The New York Times, Ford would appear as long as Senators provide 'terms that are fair and which ensure her safety.' Fox News has also obtained the email. 'As you are aware, she has been receiving death threats, which have been reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and she and her family have been forced out of their home,' the email continued. 'She wishes to testify, provided that we can agree on terms that are fair and which ensure her safety.' Senate Republicans had invited Ford to testify at a hearing on Monday, and gave her a Friday deadline to indicate whether she would attend. A Monday hearing still appears unlikely, though, even though Kavanaugh said through the White House late Thursday that he'd be willing and ready to testify then. In the letter Thursday, Ford's attorney wrote that it 'is not possible' for Ford to testify on Monday. She added that 'the Committee’s insistence that it occur then is arbitrary in any event.'....And in a series of tweets earlier Thursday, Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee noted they had obtained statements, under penalty of felony, from three people at the house party where the alleged assault occured, including Kavanaugh, his friend Mark Judge, and another individual. Fox News has learned that Kavanaugh provided his statements under oath, exposing him to potential perjury liability if he were lying. Committee members also wrote that they had reached out to a 'fourth person allegedly at the party,' as well as 'a schoolmate who claimed on social media this week to have info related to Dr. Ford’s allegations' -- but had not heard back....Meanwhile, tensions over Kavanaugh's nomination were evident Thursday on Capitol Hill. A total of 33 protesters were arrested outside Grassley's office in the Hart Senate Office Building this afternoon, and 23 were booked in the morning in the Dirksen Senate Office Building. They were charged with obstructing and crowding, according to Capitol Police officials....Sources tell Fox News that several death threats have been sent to Kavanaugh and his family, as well as Ford. Maine Republican Senator Susan Collins, a moderate and potential key swing vote in Kavanaugh's confirmation, also said she had been receiving threatening messages. In response to Collins' complaint, a top Democratic California lawmaker, Rep. Eric Swalwell, tweeted, 'Boo Hoo Hoo.' He later deleted the tweet and called it 'stupid.' • Another Fox News report on Wednesday noted that : "Senate Judiciary Committee ranking Democrat Dianne Feinstein...who has vouched for Ford's credibility, also admitted she could not verify that Ford's allegations were entirely true. 'I have no say, I'm the lead Democrat....Now, I can't say everything's truthful. I don't know.' " • • • PRESIDENT TURMP UPS THE STAKES. Sometimes, it becomes crystal clear that Donald Trump is much better at politics than the politicians he is trying to corral. And, his timing is perfect. On Friday morning, as reported by Fox News : "President Trump called on Christine Blasey Ford on Friday to provide a police report to back up her allegations that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh tried to sexually assault her more than three decades ago. In a sharp change of tone after days of reserved statements regarding the allegations, the President first tweeted in defense of Kavanaugh and then put pressure on Ford to furnish a police report, though there's no indication one was ever filed. 'I have no doubt that, if the attack on Dr. Ford was as bad as she says, charges would have been immediately filed with local Law Enforcement Authorities by either her or her loving parents. I ask that she bring those filings forward so that we can learn date, time, and place!' he tweeted. Earlier, Trump had tweeted : 'Judge Brett Kavanaugh is a fine man, with an impeccable reputation, who is under assault by radical left wing politicians who don’t want to know the answers, they just want to destroy and delay. Facts don’t matter. I go through this with them every single day in DC.' ” • • • DEAR READERS, American Thinker's Tom Trinko wrote on Friday : "Amazingly some conservative/ Republican sources are acting as though Christine Blasey Ford isn’t either delusional or lying through her teeth. It’s time for every Republican to declare that it’s a sad day that we can’t trust a woman who claiming to have been assaulted because of the nonstop lying by Democrats on every issue under the sun. We need to shout from the rooftops that the clearly political staging of Blasey Ford’s claim undermines the public’s trust in women who were in fact assaulted and as such Democrats are working hard to undermine women. We will not win if we continue to act as though modern Democrats and their fake news media propaganda are good people.
