Benghazi Lies : We Will Hound Barack and Hillary to the Gates of Hell for Justice

AS WE REMEMBER 9/11, LET US NOT FORGET SEPTEMBER 11, 2012. BENGHAZI. There is something sickening about the entire Benghazi attack -- from its inception to the latest Obama effort to whitewash it. Anyone who thinks even fleetingly about Benghazi knows that it was a planned attack and knows that nobody in the Hillary Clinton State Department or the Barack Obama White House or the Leon Panetta Defense Department lifted a finger to stop it or to save any American caught up in it or to intervene to prevent the second attack on the annex 7 hours later. Ambassador Chris Stevens was left to be humiliated and killed, without any attempt to send in US military or intelligence or to give military fire cover to those on the ground who could have at least rescued his body. • President Washington created the Navy to fight the Barbary pirates who took Americans hostage. President Jefferson sent the US Navy and Marines to Tripoli to defeat them. So did Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who was responsible for the safety of everyone at the diplomatic mission in Benghazi. That says it all. And it is what makes the whole history of the Benghazi attack sickening. It is what has made "Benghazi," like "The Alamo" and "Pearl Harbor," and "9/11," a symbol of American valor and duty, despite being terrible losses. • • • OBAMA CALLED BENGHAZI A WILD CONSPIRACY THEORY. Former Army Ranger Kris Paronto said he wanted to reach through the screen and "choke" former President Barack Obama after the one-time commander in chief referred to "wild conspiracy theories" surrounding the 2012 attack on the US mission in Benghazi, Libya, that left four Americans dead. Paronto, a then-CIA contractor who was part of the response to the attack, made the comment during a Fox News interview Sunday : "It’s disgusting," Paronto said, adding that he thought it showed Obama to be a "narcissist" and "elitist." "It just raises the bile inside of me. I had a hard time just watching the speech itself," he said. "I just wanted to see what he had to say. And when that came across, I just wanted to reach through the screen and just grab him -- grab him and choke him and say, ‘Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me that you’d have the gall to disgrace the memory of my teammates and what we did there that night by calling it conspiracy?’ " • Paronto has criticized what he says was a State Department order to "stand down" after his team first received word of the attack, and he has accused Obama and others on the left of "rewriting history" when it comes to Benghazi because it "didn't fit their narrative." A special congressional investigation into the Benghazi attack severely criticized the military, CIA and Obama administration officials for their responses and subsequent explanations to the American people. But, nothing has come from the House Select Committee on Benghazi report. It is six years today that the Benghazi attack occurred and no Obama administration official has been held to account. It is shameful. • • • TWITTER ATTACKS PARONTO INSTEAD OF OBAMA. That is the end-all. Kris Paronto, a former US Army Ranger and a CIA contractor, used his Twitter account to explain how Preisdent Obama's characterization of the Benghazi attack as a wild conspiracy theory made him feel -- after all, Kris Paronto was one of the Americans left to fend for themselves on a rooftop in Benghazi. Paronto went after Obama on Twitter, suggesting the "cowardly" former President should attempt to live through an event like the attack on the Benghazi compound. Here is Paronto's tweet : "@KrisParonto. Benghazi is a conspiracy @BarackObama ?! How bout we do this,let’s put your cowardly ass on the top of a roof with 6 of your buddies&shoot rpg’s&Ak47’s at you while terrorists lob 81mm mortars killing 2 of your buddies all while waiting for US support that you never sent#scum." • Paronto said his account was suspended for his response to one Twitter user on the topic of Benghazi. Twitter did not appreciate the response so it slapped a temporary suspension on Paronto’s account after his criticism of President Obama. Twitter later lifted the temporary suspension of Paronto’s account. Twitter founder and CEO Jack Dorsey told Congress last week his platform aims to shape behavior. Apparently, that means not criticizing former President Obama. • BUT, Kris got some powerful support. Donald Trump Jr tweeted : "@DonaldJTrumpJr. He obviously misspoke...he clearly meant Benghazi was a Negligent Homicide with gross incompetence so that he & Hillary could attempt to create at least a single foreign policy win before her anointment. I mean who cares about a few great Americans if you can score pol points? 7:11 AM - 10 Sep 2018." • AND, Kris Paronto got in his last Tweeter word as well : "I apologize all you @BarackObama minions, I was completely out of line telling Fox that BHusseinObama&I should be closed room to settle our differences for him leaving us to die in Libya then him & his media lying about it. Thank you for the correction, Donald Trump Jr." • • • OBAMA IS STILL LYING ABOUT BENGHAZI. Jason Chaffetz, former congressman and chairman of the House Oversight Committee, is now a Fox News contributor. Chaffetz wrote on Monday for Fox : "In a brazen attempt to re-write history, President Barack Obama in a speech on Friday blamed 'the politics of resentment and paranoia,' which he said had found a home in the Republican Party, for “wild conspiracy theories -- like those surrounding Benghazi.' What a reprehensible way to frame an event that killed four Americans while they waited for rescue and protection they deserved from people Barack Obama never sent. Of course, you only heard about Obama’s characterization of Benghazi if you pay attention to conservative media. By and large the mainstream press excluded references to Benghazi from their reporting of the speech. With President Trump methodically erasing the Obama legacy, this bizarre attempt to reframe the narratives around Obama’s greatest failures should fool no one." • Chaffetz noted that Kris “Tanto” Paronto, one of the heroes who watched his friends die that night in Benghazi, called Obama’s comments “disgusting” has a right to be offended : "The real conspiracy of Benghazi was the false narrative that the whole thing was the result of an offensive video -- an objectively proven lie born from the resentment and paranoia within Obama’s own administration. They didn’t think the truth was compatible with getting Barack Obama re-elected six weeks after the attack....Barack Obama took us to war with Libya. His State Department refused multiple requests to meet minimum security standards at the Benghazi consulate. President Obama never sent anyone to rescue or protect our ambassador or our own people during the 13 hours they were under attack. Four brave men died as a result and many other heroes had their lives forever altered. That is not a conspiracy. That is fact -- no matter how inconvenient Democrats may find it. This is one part of the Obama legacy that Trump should not erase. We all need to remember the lessons learned from Obama’s worst mistake." • Chaffetz is being polite in calling Benghazi Obama's "worst mistake." Benghazi runs in deeper waters. TeaParty.org published na article right after the Obama speech that contains a photo. The photo in the article, , is not for the faint of heart but it gives a starkly accurate view of what really happened in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. To look at that photo and then have to listen to the self-aggrandizing and self-exonerating words of President Obama, who lied to America from 2008 until Janaury 2017, is a wake-up call. And, for Obama to blame the Republican Party for his own grevious faults is the perfect example of fascist tactics at work -- blame the oposition for your own faults and acts and make them look like the evil ones. Obama said : "But over the past few decades, the politics of division and resentment and paranoia has unfortunately found a home in the Republican party." Obama then attacked Republican members of Congress, accusing them of embracing "wild conspiracy theories like those surrounding Benghazi." No wonder Kris Paronto slammed Obama. Paronto is credited with saving approximately 20 people during the Benghazi attack. THAT is 20 more lives than Obama or Hillary or Panetta saved. • And, to think that the University of Illinois gave Obama air time because he was accepting the Paul H. Douglas Award for Ethics in Government. ETHICS. Think about it. • The Gateway Pundit called it Barack Obama stepping out of the "shadows" on Friday to remind Americans of his "many economic, domestic and foreign policy failures. President Obama lectured President Trump, accused him of racism, and attempted to take credit for President Trump’s economic miracle. But Barack Obama’s worst lie was his remarks on Benghazi." • • • BENGHAZI -- NO MERE CONSPIRACY THEORY. American Thinker published an article on Monday by Daniel John Sobieski titled "Obama's Benghazi Body Bags No Mere Conspiracy Theory." Sobieski reminds us of the grotesque cover-up and lies that came from the Obama administration and from Obama himself in the immediate aftermath of Benghazi : "The arrogance of the man who lied to the parents of the Benghazi dead in front of their sons' caskets as they were returned to the country they fought for is mind-boggling. As he attempted to rewrite many chapters of his failed presidency in a speech at the University of Illinois, he called the accurate and documented reports of the criminal negligence of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and himself during the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack on our Benghazi compound a mere 'conspiracy theory.' Conspiracy theories don't produce body bags, sir, but perhaps you don't remember that night all too well because you spent the time four brave Americans were being killed under your command in Libya readying up for a Las Vegas fundraiser." • Sobieski states : "Obama and Hillary had plenty of warnings that the security at Benghazi was woefully inadequate, that the compound was swimming in an ocean of terrorist training camps. They ignored these warnings, and when the attack happened, they did nothing when a rescue mission could have been mounted. Instead, stand-down orders were given to would-be rescuers, and following the attack, the infamous video lie was concocted and spread over the airwaves, with President Obama repeating it no fewer than six times in a speech before the United Nations." • Sobieski reminds us of Gregory Hicks, then the deputy chief of mission in Libya for the US, and the last man to speak to Ambassador Chris Stevens, who "has exposed the video lie, documenting how he told Hillary's State Department what was happening in real time that fateful night and how her State Department ignored warnings from Chris Stevens and others about the gathering terrorist storm and the woeful lack of security. Now retired, private citizen Hicks goes farther, telling Fox News Hillary Clinton broke laws while condemning four Americans to death at the hands of terrorists : 'Just as the Constitution makes national security the President's highest priority, US law mandates the secretary of state to develop and implement policies and programs 'to provide for the security...of all United States personnel on official duty abroad.' This includes not only the State Department employees, but also the CIA officers in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. And the Benghazi record is clear: Secretary Clinton failed to provide adequate security for US government personnel assigned to Benghazi and Tripoli." • The movie 13 Hours is based on the book, in which the three CIA contractors, Kris Paronto, John Tiegen, and Mark Geist, who fought at Benghazi, tell the tale of the battle they fought with Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, and Tyrone Woods in the terrorist attack that claimed the life of Ambassador Chris Stevens, whose name Hillary could not remember. 13 Hours, says Sobieski : "confirms that Benghazi was not a spontaneous demonstration gone bad due a video, despite Susan Rice repeating that lie on five Sunday talk shows, and President Obama repeated six times before the UN. Hillary Clinton knew that it was a lie, telling the truth to daughter Chelsea and an Egyptian diplomat before she lied to the parents of the Benghazi dead. It confirms that rescuers were told to stand down." If you haven't seen 13 Hours, watch it. It will make you realize just how cynical and sinful Obama's September 7 "conspiracy theory" statement was. • Hillary and her State Department had warnings, including from Ambassador Stevens himself, that Benghazi was an unsecure trap in the face of a growing terrorist threat. As Investor's Business Daily editorialized on documents unearthed by Judicial Watch : "The documents describe Libya as hardly the poster child for the Arab Spring, and echo warnings sent to State by Stevens himself. He was aware of an attack on a convoy carrying the British ambassador to Libya and a June 2012 attack where an improvised explosive device blew a hole in the Benghazi consulate wall. Nowhere in the 486 pages is mention of or concern for the effects of a video. On August 8, 2012, Stevens sent a two-page cable to the State Department entitled 'The Guns of August: Security in Eastern Libya' and noted a dangerous 'security vacuum' in and around Benghazi, as well as the presence of terrorist training camps. He was ignored. The documents reveal that, early on the day after the attack, the Pentagon received intelligence briefing slides detailing that the June 6, 2012, attack was tied to al-Qaida-linked terrorists seeking an Islamic state in Libya and who threatened to attack US interests there. It also said the June 6 attack 'came in response to the 5 June (2012) drone strike on senior al-Qaida leader Abu Yahya al-libi.' " • As Daniel John Sobieski states : "That September 11 was a terrorist attack was known before, during and after it took place." Sobieski quotes Generral Carter Ham, head of the Command, who testified behind closed doors in June 2013 before the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations : "I personally ... think the (US Africa Command) very quickly got to the point that this was not a demonstration, this was a terrorist attack." General Ham said that was the "nature of the conversation" he had with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Martin Dempsey moments before a 30-minute meeting with Obama prior to the President resting up for his fundraising Las Vegas trip. • Gregory Hicks says that Hillary Clinton ignored the pleas for added security at Benghazi, ignored the terrorist threat that was building, and then let pleas for a rescue fall on deaf ears. Could a rescue attempt have been mounted? According to Hicks, yes, it could have : "If we had been able to scramble a fighter or aircraft or two over Benghazi as quickly as possible after the attack commenced" – around 9:30 p.m. that night – "I believe there would not have been a mortar attack on the annex in the morning because I believe the Libyans would have split. They would have been scared to death that we would have gotten a laser on them and killed them." Sobieski points out that Hicks, who was in Tripoli that night, relates how the Libyan prime minister called and told him that the US ambassador had been killed, after which "the Libyan military agreed to fly their C-130 to Benghazi and carry additional personnel to Benghazi as reinforcements." • Sobieski notes that the House Select Benghazi Committee's report : "graphically illustrates the magnitude of her failure. It states that during August 2012, the State Department reduced the number of US security personnel assigned to the Embassy in Tripoli from 34 (1.5 security officers per diplomat) to 6 (1 security officer per 4.5 diplomats), despite a rapidly deteriorating security situation in both Tripoli and Benghazi. Thus, according to the Report, 'there were no surplus security agents' to travel to Benghazi with Ambassador Stevens 'without leaving the Embassy in Tripoli at severe risk.' Patricia Smith, mother of Sean Smith, who fought and died for his country at Benghazi, spoke of Hillary's callousness at the 2012 GOP convention. Smith focused in her riveting convention speech on Hillary's disregard for the families of the Benghazi dead : 'I know a few things could've been done to prevent it. But nobody's admitting to anything. Right now, my understanding is Hillary didn't do a damn thing. And I wonder what she did as Secretary of State, because she disavows everything. She disavows the fact that she even got any call for security....If this is her Department, she certainly doesn't know how to run the Department. And she lied the whole time. She lied to me and called me a liar on TV.' " When Patricia Smith testified before Congress, Sobieski reminds us that most Democrats walked out of the room, turning their backs on the mother of one of those patriots abandoned by Obama and Hillary at Benghazi, refusing to hear her grief as she condemned what Obama now calls a mere "conspiracy theory" : "With the exception of ranking member Elijah Cummings and Jackie Speier, 12 other Democrats on the Committee shamefully left the room and refused to listen to the testimony of Smith. Mrs. Smith testified how President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary Clinton, among other top administration officials, approached her at the casket ceremony when her son's body was returned to the US. 'Every one of them came up to me, gave me a big hug, and I asked them, 'What happened, please tell me?' And every one of them said it was the video. And we all know that it wasn't the video. Even at that time they knew it wasn't the video. So they all lied to me.' " • • • DEAR READERS, Obama's September 7 speech makes it clear -- they are still lying. But, Benghazi will not fall off America's radar. Americans will not forget. We will hound Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to the Gates of Hell as we seek justice for their Benghazi lies and malfeasance in office.
