Senator Grassley and Judge Kavanaugh Support America, While Senators Schumer and Harris Become Two More ProgDems with Fascist Egg on Their Faces

TODAY'S NEWS IS THAT SCHUMER HAS BLOWN THE COVER ON THE PROGDEM IMPEACHMENT AGENDA. As Abraham Lincoln said: "No man has a good enough memory to be a successful liar." In the case of Schumer, his memory wasn't working at all. The leaders of the Democrat Party insist that impeachment is not on the agenda and urge their fellow ProgDems to stop talking about it. • • • "THE SOONER THE BETTER." But, Democrat Chuck Schulmer, Senate Minority Leader, forgot all about his own advice when he was caught unaware at a Labor Day parade in Brooklyn. Fox News told the stroy : "In an off-the-cuff moment caught on video during a Labor Day parade in Brooklyn Monday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told a bystander who asked when President Trump would be impeached, 'The sooner the better.' Schumer's comment appeared to be a sharp break from his own previous rhetoric and that of other party leaders, who have avoided discussing impeachment proceedings for fear of alienating moderate voters ahead of November's midterm elections. 'When are y'all going to impeach Trump?' someone calls out in the footage from behind a barricade as Schumer, carrying a megaphone, walks past with his security detail in the West Indian-American Day parade. 'The sooner the better,' Schumer quickly replies. The same bystander apparently counters : 'The sooner the better?' That's not answering the question.' 'We gotta get a few Republicans,' Schumer responds. 'Democrats are on your side.' " • Impeaching the President requires a majority of votes in the House of Representatives, which Democrats do not currently have. Removing the President would then require a two-thirds vote of the Senate, which the Democrats also do not have. • Fox News said Schumer's office told it that Schumer had simply misheard the bystander's question : “After a number of questions along the parade route about the fate of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, the Senator believed he was being asked, ‘when will you defeat Trump,’ and responded, ‘the sooner the better,’ noting that we need Republicans to defeat the nomination," Schumer spokesman Matt House said. 'As he has said many times and continues to believe, talk of impeachment is premature, and Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation should be allowed to continue without any interference.' " • Just last month, when asked what the consequences would be if Trump pardoned his former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, after his conviction on several federal charges, Schumer told reporters only, "I’ve said what I’m gonna say.” Nancy Pelosi, House Minortiy Leader, has said impeachment is "not a priority." In an interview with the Associated Press, she said ‘impeachment has to spring from something else," and not any issues surrounding Manafort or former Trump attorney Michael Cohen. • It seems that all Democrats do not agree with Pelosi. Some Democrats have broken rank to support Trump's impeachment. Fox News says : "In perhaps the most dramatic sign that the impeachment fight may go mainstream, Texas Represnetative Beto O’Rourke -- who is running to unseat GOP Senator Ted Cruz in November in the deep-red, pro-Trump state -- has both advocated impeaching Trump and downplayed the Democratic consequences of such an effort. O'Rourke said earleir htis year : “Impeachment, much like an indictment, shows that there is enough there for the case to proceed, and at this point there is certainly enough there for the case to proceed.” • • • DEMOCRATS SHOULD TREAD LIGHTLY ON THE IMPEACHMENT QUESTION. Here's why. Their last Democrat President -- Barack Obama -- did lots of things that could have supported impeachment. And Senator Chuck Grassley, chairman if the Senate Judiciary Committee, lost his patience at the Brett Kavanaugh hearing on Tuesday. Grassley was just seconds into his welcome statement when Senator Kamala Harris, a California Democrat, began to interrupt him repeatedly. Grassley called for regular order but continued to be interrupted by multiple Democrats on the committee. Then multiple protesters began to scream and yell and were removed by the Capitol police providing security in the room. Chairman Grassley finally hit back, saying : “My colleagues on the other side are accusing the administration of using executive privilege to hide documents from the Committee. I want to say why they’re wrong." Grassley then noted the difference in the administrations, calling up scandals and appointees under the Obama administration : “Unlike President Obama’s assertion of executive privilege during ‘Fast And Furious,’ as one example, this assertion is not legitimate.” Grassley was referring to the gun-running scandal that put dangerous weapons in the hands of Mexican drug cartels. Grassley explained that Kavanaugh was a senior lawyer in the White House and his conversations with the President are granted confidentiality so that he could effectively discharge his duties. Senator Grassley pointed out : “We in the Senate, and everyone else in America, expect exactly the same sort of confidentiality. Most Senators would not agree to turn over their staff’s communication to anyone.” Grassley went on to make a distinction between the request for documents from Kavanaugh and requests for documents from Democrat-appointed judges : “For example, we didn’t ask that Judge Kagan’s records for her service with then Senator Biden be turned over during her nomination. And because of attorney/client privilege, everybody has a right to keep communications from their lawyers out of government hands. We therefore didn’t ask for Justice Ginsberg’s documents from her time with the ACLU. We didn’t ask for Judge Sotomayor’s confidential documents from her time in private practice. It can’t be that the Senate and the ACLU are entitled to more protection than the President of the United States.” • There are a lot of Obama- and ProgDem-based gut punches lying in wait for any Democrat who attempts to push impeachment to the front of the Democrat agenda. BUT, it shows just how critical a GOP sweep in November is -- we need to keep and increase both the House and Senate Republican majorities to shield President Trump from the ProgDem Swamp cabal. • Judge Kavanaugh hinted at the sensitive issue on Wednesday at the confirmation hearings when Nebraska Republican Senator Ben Sasse decried what he said was the improper mixing of partisan politics with legal discussion during the hearing, reiterating his arguments from Tuesday that Congress often delegates excessive authority to mostly unaccountable executive branch agencies. Judge Kavanaugh addressed Senator Sasse's remarks by citing the Obama-era Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), saying that even if the CFPB was a good policy idea, its creation was an improper "departure from historical practice" because it employed a single director, rather than a committee, who could only be removed by the President for cause. Kavanaugh wrote an opinion for a three-judge panel striking down the CFPB's structure as unconstitutional in 2016, but was later reversed in part by a 7-3 vote in an unusual en banc review by other justices on the DC Circuit Court of Appeals. The en banc review found the CFPB's structure to be constitutional, but agreed with Kavanaugh that one of the agency's major interpretive decisions had improperly violated due process requirements. "A single person can make these enormous decisions?" Kavanaugh told Senator Sasse on Wednesday, referring to the director of the CFPB. "From my perspective...that was an issue of concern." • • • THE KAVANAUGH HEARING PROTESTERS WERE BEING PAID. TeaParty.org reported on Thursday that Kavanaugh ‘protesters’ were caught being paid "hard cash." Adam Schindler captured one of the so-called protesters accepting a cash payment on Capitol Hill. TeaParty.org says : "During and after the presidential elections of 2016 and throughout President Trump’s tenure people have made claims that protesters are being paid. Turns out, conservative personality Adam Schindler was able to obtain unequivocal proof. He not only got photos of money exchanging hands but also got footage of the woman who received it being kicked out of Kavanuagh’s confirmation hearing. You can see the photos at < bigleaguepolitics.com/shock-photos-kavanaugh-protesters-caught-getting-paid-hard-cash/ >. TeaParty.org states : "In one photo, it appears money is being exchanged. Basically, a guy with a folder with wads of cash, jotting down their names and handing over payment....the same woman who just received payment [was photographed] being escorted out of the confirmation hearing. This is astounding and very concerning. It seems that the #DesperateDemocrats will use people that are malleable, vulnerable and socially challenged to execute these acts. We recently saw video footage of candidate Ocasio-Cortez approaching children with the intent to recruit them. Is it because they are vulnerable, are malleable to manipulate their parents? These actions show just how desperate the Democrats are when the only thing they have to run on is 'resistance' to President Trump....@RealJamesWood tweeted this morning : "The #DesperateDemocrats prey on those that are vulnerable, socially hindered, young and old and so desperate for money -- so desperate that they will do and say anything. That is how ISIS recruits mercenaries. Mercenaries don’t care about causes, they don’t belong to any specific group, they don’t have loyalty to a party or country, they don’t care about who gets hurt or what means are used to get to the outcome as long as they get paid. • So, in essence the #DesperateDemocrats are using hired-gun mercenaries to do their work. Mercenaries are “loyal” to the highest bidder. • • • DEAR READERS, it didn't take long for ProgDem Senator Kamala Harris to learn about mercenaries the close-up-and-personal way. California Senator Harris was the first to lead the elected-Democrat portion of the obstruction and delay tactics at the Kavanaugh hearing, and the Washington Free Beacon reported that she set out to defend the hearing protesters during an appearance Tuesday evening on MSNBC. • Things didn't work out so well for the Senator from California -- MSNBC played video clips while Harris was speaking that completely undermined her message. Host Chris Hayes shifted gears and asked about the delay tactics and “hysteria” of protests from the audience, and played a clip of Republican committee member Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska speaking at the Kavanaugh hearing about that issue : “People are going to pretend that Americans have no historical memory, and supposedly there haven’t been screaming protesters saying ‘women are gonna die’ at every hearing for decades. So, the fact that the hysteria has nothing to do with Kavanaugh means that we should ask what’s the hysteria coming from? The hysteria around Supreme Court confirmation hearings is coming from the fact that we have a fundamental misunderstanding of the role of the Supreme Court in American life now.” • The Free Beacon said : "In response to Sasse’s remarks, Harris skipped over the substance of it and instead focused in on his use of the word 'hysteria,' which Harris asserted was some sort of misogynistic intent on his part to dismiss the female protesters, or some other such feminist nonsense that avoided the point....Harris then shifted back to talking about the many documents that had been requested by Democrats and the limited time available to review what had been provided. She then sought to smear Kavanaugh as some sort of shady 'political operative' who wasn’t worthy of a seat on the Supreme Court : 'There is so much on the line and so much at stake, so to suggest that people who understand the seriousness of this and are protesting the lack of transparency, the lack of due process, to suggest that they’re hysterical is really to throw out a red herring and not deal with the real issue, which is that this hearing is severely flawed and it should be postponed until we can vet who this nominee really is.' ” • BUT -- while Harris was defending the protesters as being serious and anything but “hysterical,” MSNBC undermined her statement as she was still delivering it by playing video of protesters screaming loudly -- and, yes, acting hysterically -- inside the hearing as they were being physically removed. • Senator Kamala Harris thought she could defend the protesters at Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing by suggesting Senator Sasse's use of the word “hysteria” to describe their behavior was a sexist smear, and MSNBC probably wanted to help Harris in driving home that message. • BUT, SOMETIMES THE PROGDEMS just get caught tripping all over themselves and their Fake artificial manufactured "messages." MSNBC probably had no intention of making a fool of Senator Harris -- one of their ProgDem darlings -- but actual protesters behaving hysterically while Harris was trying to deliver the Fake ProgDem anti-Trump anti-GOP anti-Kavanaugh message ran slam-dunk into reality, thereby reinforcing Senator Sasse's point about ProgDem hysteria and leaving Senator Harris to join Senator Cory Booker as just another ProgDem Swamp Creature with fascist egg all over her face. • Have a safe and happy weekend.

  1. The willingness to just blatantly lie, the massive amounts of monies that the likes of George Soros (and his socialist friends have at their fingertips), the crookedness of the press and their inclination to do the ProgDems dirty work makes what is happening right now in the Highways & By-Ways around the halls of United States government nearly unbelievable and certainly unexplainable.

It was once a true statement to say that the United States of America had just 2 political parties (certainly there was a very radicle fringe, unimportant parties that managed a spot on the ballot sporadically). Both major parties at some time in the recent history had somewhat similar views on what the U.S. needed to look like & do. The major obstacle was the difference of these parties on how to get to that common point., either more or less government involvement.

Today friends we are playing a new game, in a new stadium, with NO RULES at all.

Today the ProgDems, the Swampers, and sometimes called plain and simple pure Socialists have no morals, no honor, no values, and nothing to offer our Republic.

So what are the choices - Separation, Secession, and Destruction of our Constitutional Republic? I don’t know. But what I do know is the Progressive Socialists of Obama will destroy the U.S. rather than admit defeat.

Maybe Casey Pops will delve into this most serious subject soon.

  2. Permanent Washington DC simply wants to set policy, they wants to railroad the Trump Agenda, they want to get Trump out of office A.S.A.P.

Permanent Washington DC are those people who arrived many administrations ago and just kept staying on. They married like leftist, the bore kids who went to the finest schools to enhance their own strong leftism attitudes.

They took less time to lead America to the “eve of destruction” than it took our Founders to get from the Constitution to a Civil War. They nearly have killed off the American Uniqueness replacing it with a Welfare State that took up und er President Obama to advertising in Mexico how to get food stamps and free medical care once the got across the border (illegally naturally).

As the song says ...”this land is my land, this land is your land ...” That may be true but if Permanent DC wants to give their share away I live at ....

    1. It is that splintering that is the bases of today's threatening collapse of our Constitutional Republic. The "People" spoke their wishes for Donald Trump to be president. That desire can be overturned at the ballot box in 2020 or it can (should be) extended by the people.

Equally so in regards of Brett Cavanaugh to be an Associate Justice of SCOTUS. When someone fits as well as he does HIRE HIM, don't politicize.

  3. Here is a scenario to carry forth to the Mid-term elections in 60 days or so …

You have a guy, 51yrs old. a little overweight, with barely a High School diploma. He’s been married 25 years with four kids, with two of them still at home. One of them is his daughter with her two kids. He’s worked for same plastics manufacturer for 28 years. With overtime he’s been earning $70,000 a year, enough to buy a neat little home and raise his kids. Now comes 2008, his house plunges in value and the bank calls his Heloc loan. His daughter breaks up with her husband, then loses her job. She moves back home with Dad in their neat, small, 3 bedroom house. 8 people in one house with only one paycheck. Mom works part time at the Church.

A Black Man comes along promising “Hope & Change”. Ok. Let’s see what he can do. In 8 years, not much. Congress grants everything he wants. He gets his game changing healthcare but everyone says it socialism (and it is). Friends tell him, the government wants to tell him which a Doctors to go to. Socialism? It sounds like Communism. It must be bad.

Trump comes along. He’s going to tear things down. He’s going to break the logjam in Congress. He’s going to kill off this Obamacare thing. He’s going stop all these Mexicans from coming across the border and taking their jobs. He’s going to stop the Chinese from dumping low cost Plastics threatening his job.

One day, management tells him no more overtime. His paycheck drops to $60,000 a year, a 25% drop in pay. They’re trimming the payroll from 800 to 300 employees. They say he’s safe - Until he’s not safe, anymore.

But Trump promises to save him. Save his family and his home. That’s why they believe in him (Trump). Will they continue to believe?

Believe in America, but take care of yourselves. That’s what the Mid-Terms are all about. That’s what every election is all about. Every early November is our chance to set forth where America is headed.

  4. “It is of great importance in a republic not only to guard the society against the oppression of its rulers, but to guard one part of the society against the injustice of the other part.” James Madison

The notion that America is a government "of the people" is unique to say the least. While that idea lumps all citizens together into one group, Madison said in the Federalists Papers (#51.6) that the public naturally divides itself, and we have to watch out for that.
