Progressive-Democrats Have Declared "Jihad" on President Trump and He Needs a War Room Chief of Staff Like Chris Christie

President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a joint press conference in Washington on Wednesday as part of Netanyahu's official first visit to the US during the Trump presidency. Their answers to press questions touched on every major hot issue facing American Israel and the world today. • On the question of alleged anti-Semitic attacks and racism, Netanyahu said he has known President Trump and his family for many years : "There is no greater supporter of the Jewish people and the Jewish state than President Donald Trump." • Trump was asked about an alleged increase of anti-Semitic attacks across the US after Trump's election, and his alleged xenophobia. Trump -- as he often does, not to pat himself on the back but to remind the majority of Americans who support him that they are still a team -- said he is "very honored" by the victory he had. Then, he answered the question : "We are going to have peace in this country, we are going to stop crime in this country. We are going to do everything in our power to stop long simmering racism." • On the Iran deal, Netanyahu said Trump has led a very important effort against the Iranians, pointing to their ballistic missile tests and imposing sanctions on Iran. Netanyahu said they write on the missiles in Hebrew "Israel must be destroyed," calling Trump's support for Israel and tough approach ot Iran are part of a very welcome change and "long overdue : "I intend to work with President Trump very closely so we can thwart this danger." • Trump hailed the "unbreakable bond" with America's "cherished ally." He called Israel a symbol of resilience in the face of oppression and genocide. He mentioned the Iran deal as a key threat for Israel and again called it one of the "worst deals I've ever seen." He promised that Iran will never attain nuclear capabilities. • On the question of a two-state or a one-state solution, Trump said he wants whatever both sides would like. He also affirmed his hope that the Embassy can be moved to Jerusalem. Netanyahu said Palestine needs to recognize the Israel state and stop educating their people to hate Israelis --Trump agreed. Netanyahu added that Palestine gives money to the families of anti-Israel suicide bombers. • Trump was asked about General Flynn. He said that Flynn has been treated "very unfairly" by what he called the "fake media." He went on to blast "criminal acts" of leaking that have been going on for a long time : "People are trying to cover up for a terrible loss the Democrats had under Hillary Clinton." • • • TRUMP IS STONE COLD SANE. The Trump-Netanyahu press conference was an island of sanity in the current Washington ocean of madness. In fact, the Progressive-Democrat hysteria prompted Fox News to publich on Wednesday an evaluation of President Trump's mental status by Dr. Keith Ablow, a psychiatrist and member of the Fox News Medical A-Team. Dr. Ablow's opinion? "Let me issue the standard disclaimer of psychiatrists who discuss the mental health of public figures : I have not personally examined President Trump. Now, let me put to rest the concerns of Senator Al Franken and political commentators John Oliver and Andrew Sullivan and anyone else who publicly or privately has questioned the President’s sanity : Donald Trump is stone cold sane. When a man acquires billions of dollars through complex real estate transactions, invests in many countries, goes on to phenomenal success in television and turns his name into a worldwide brand, it is very unlikely that he is mentally unstable. When the same man obviously enjoys the love and respect of his children and his wife, who seem to rely on him for support and guidance, it is extraordinarily unlikely that he is mentally unstable. When the same man walks into the political arena and deftly defeats 16 Republican opponents and then the Democratic heir-apparent to a two-term President’s administration, the odds of that man being mentally unstable become vanishingly thin. And when that very same man attracts to his team the kind of intellect and gravitas represented (to name just a few) by Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Secretary of Defense James Mattis, a retired Marine Corps General and commander of the USCentral Command, he cannot be mentally deranged. Period. It is a statistical impossibility. Those who assert otherwise are political opportunists, or fools, or both (and I am thinking here, in particular, of Senator Franken)." • • • THE PROG-DEM JIHAD ON TRUMP AND THE GOP. Prog-Dems have begun a leftist "jihad" to rid the world of Donald Trump, his team, the Republican Party, conservatives, and the US Constitution. A punch list of those in the Trump administration being targeted for destruction surely includes every close advisor to Trump -- they are being assaulted with outrageous attacks from Prog-Dem leftist "jihadists" who call them racists, Nazis and even agents of Russia. We just saw what happened to General Mike Flynn. The Prog-Dem "jihadist" plan is to pick off Trump’s inner circle one by one and then go for the chief with an impeachment attempt. And, major liberal press outlets -- the mainstream media -- who are the propaganda arm for this Prog-Dem leftist "jihadist" war are already openly talking of a Trump “impeachment.” • Fox News' Bill O'Reilly cites one element of the propaganda involved in the Prog-Dem war on Trump, calling it a stunning display of dishonesty from the national press and radical left. O'Reilly pointed out on Wednesday that : "Last week, about 680 undocumented aliens were arrested by ICE officials countrywide. Many of them have already been deported. The coordinated raids targeted aliens who had committed crimes in the USA -- mostly felonies. Seventy five percent of those taken into custody had convictions, including homicide and rape. One man arrested in Chicago, was an Iraqi citizen with a conviction of sexual abuse of a victim [who was] unable to consent. Many of the arrested non-felons were associating with the criminals. But those facts have largely gone unreported by the American press. And by the radical left, which is actively misleading you. O'Reilly gave examples : (1) CNN interviewed California Democrat State Senator Kevin De Leon, who said : “What took place yesterday with raids and personal homes is part of the cog of the Trump deportation machine.” (2) On MSNBC Attorney Raul Reyes said : “…how inhumane this is to be breaking down people's doors and separating parents from their children.” (3) Also on MSNBC, Arizona Democrat Representative Ruben Gallego said : “This is Donald Trump really executing his campaign plan. He is trying to be a tough guy, so, he will go after, you know, the maids, the moms, the people that are working in the shops instead of going after the hard-core criminals.” • This is the Prog-Dem "jihadist" propaganda machine, not a Trump "deportation machine." It wasn't maids, moms, and shopkeepers how were arrested. It was illegal immigrant criminals. You will find no headlines in major newspapers and no MSM TV reports about the criminal profile of those the ICE is now rounding up for deportation, and no reference to the fact that raids were targeted at illegal aliens who had committed serious crimes. As O'Reilly said : "Committed them. That is not press bias. That is blatant dishonesty." • The holy war nature of the Prog-Dem "jihad" is seen in the fact that in 2013, the Obama administration deported 434,000 illegal aliens, the highest number in history, going back to 1892. But, there were no anti-Obama demonstrations, no screaming headlines or MSM reports. It didn't matter that President Obama said : “What we should be doing is setting up a smart, legal immigration system, that doesn't separate families but does focus on making sure that people who are dangerous, you know, people who are gang bangers, are criminals, that we are deporting them as quickly as possible.” [This is not to absolve Obama, who is now leading the attack on Trump.] And, says Bill 'Reilly, "that is exactly what President Trump is doing. Exactly. But the illegal immigration issue has been set up by the media to demonize Mr. Trump, as a racist and a brutalizer of the poor. That is what is really going on here. A set up. It is flat out disgraceful. If the federal government cannot remove aliens who commit serious crimes in this country, then, we don't have an effective federal government. Yet, the far left and the press, knowing full well that the ICE raids last week were directed at dangerous people, chose not to report that. Instead, [they were busy] smearing President Trump....As for the far left, they are people who do not want any immigration enforcement. They want open borders. They want alien criminals protected. They want anarchy. Why? Because they don't like America as it stands now. So, it is very important for all honest citizens to know you are not getting accurate information. And that there is a radical element in this country that wants to destroy it." • Bill O'Reilly is right. The problem lies in getting the real news, as opposed to fake news, into the hands of every American. • • • MEXICO HELPS ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS NOW IN US. Another cog in the Prog-Dem "jihad" comes in the form of help from leading Mexicans and the Mexican government. Again we have to go to online mews outlets to learn this -- there are no MSM reports. • Last Saturday, Todd Beamon of Newmax reported : "A group of prominent Mexican citizens is developing plans to fight the Trump administration on deporting illegals from the United States by encouraging them to pack immigration courts to push the already overburdened system into a breakdown. 'The backlog in the immigration system is tremendous,' former Mexican Foreign Minister Jorge Castañeda, told The Wall Street Journal. The objective is to double or triple the backlog, 'until Trump desists in this stupid idea,' he said. The strategy by the group -- called Monarca, after the butterflies that migrate across North America -- would include advertising campaigns advising illegals to take their cases to court and fight deportation from the US if detained, the Journal reports. The organization -- also consisting of legislators, governors and public figures -- was scheduled to meet Saturday with migrant groups in Phoenix to discuss efforts to beat back the Trump administration’s deportation policy, the Journal reports. Members also are expected to meet with Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and Arizona Republican Senator Jeff Flake underscore how President Trump's agenda could affect US relations with Mexico....Monarca's plans have not been endorsed by the Mexican government, according to the Journal, but it has allocated $50 million to assist migrants facing deportation. In addition, President Enrique Peña Nieto has directed Mexico's 50 consulates in the USto defend migrants. The Foreign Ministry said Thursday that it had stepped up efforts to protect illegals, 'foreseeing the hardening of measures by immigration authorities in the US, as well as possible constitutional violations during raids or in due process.' Monarca is also examining whether to push the United States to provide documentation that illegals being deported are indeed Mexicans -- the country currently accepts them without documentation -- while other Mexican legislators are working on laws that would block the government from allocating funds to build a border wall. Other measures being weighed are retaliatory measures should the US move to tax or block remittances to Mexico from migrants in the US, or to levy a border tax on Mexican exports, the Journal reports. • Does anyone still wonder why President Trump is so tough on Mexico -- the country that lets the vast majority of illegal immigrants in America cross over into the US without any real effort to stop them. • • • MEXICANS WANT TO TAKE CALIFORNIA. As Trump begins to take America back to a more business-friendly climate, one of the world's largest international companies with $235 billion in assets, Nestlé, which has has had its US headquarters in Los Angeles County for 30 years, will move from California to Virginia by the end of 2018, taking with it 1,200 jobs from a state that relies heavily on income taxes to fund its massive public sector. Other big employers -- Toyota, Campbell's Soup, Dunn-Edwards Paints, and eBay – have already left California, taking tens of thousands of jobs with them, too. And, the exodus continues for mom-and-pop operations, entrepreneurs, families, and individuals, who have left the Golden State for places where the business and tax climate is much more welcoming. • With Republicans, conservatives, and Reagan Democrats leaving high-priced California, the remaining statist majority has a voice that is progressively increasing in volume, and calling more loudly for a "Calexit" secession from the Union. Many Americans would be happy to say goodbye and good riddance to California, as constituted today, because the values of California's majority are diametrically opposed to America's core values of individual liberty, religious freedom, and the pursuit of one's own personal happiness. The idea of an independent country being formed from the 31st state is attractive to both Progressives and conservatives. The Left would love to have a new socialist nation in North America, where it could tax even more and spend wildly on transgender bathrooms, climate change initiatives, high-speed rail fantasies, and other things. And, the Right would like to see California's 55 electoral votes, which give the Democratic Presidential candidate a big head start every four years in the Electoral College, removed from the equation. • The pragmatic problem for a successful Calexit would be the impact on at least four million Californians who voted for Trump last November. If California goes for a full secession, and manages somehow to achieve a permanent status as an independent nation-state, those millions of trapped conservative American citizens would find themselves personae non gratae in a socialist country. A People's Republic of California led by a Jerry Brown or Antonio Villaraigosa would most certainly move even harder to the Left. The California-Mexico border would surely be opened wide, prompting a spike in unfettered immigration by desperately poor people, drug dealers, and gang members to what is already a virtually lawless and out-of-control welfare state within the US. New taxes would be levied on anything the new government could hit. Entrepreneurship would be stifled. Radical environmentalism would quash the effective use of natural resources, and hyper-sex secularism would become the cultural mainstream, if it is not already. Everybody who values Judeo- Christian traditions, American history, religious freedom, and the Protestant work ethic would want to migrate back to the United States, but Calexit would create an international barrier between them and their natural rights. • Think about that hard and long, as the noise out of leftist California against every word uttered by President Trump grows louder. California is American, not Mexican. Its commerical success comes from American values and work ethics, and its future lies in the Trump renewal of America's energy, industrial productivity and job creation, not in some pie-in-the-sky fantasy about seceding to Mexico and its drug cartels and rampant poverty among the millions of average Mexicans whose flight to California is a classic 'vote with their feet' approval of America and all she stands for. • • • INVISIBLE GUIDE AND SOROS. Last Friday, the Daily Signal of the Heritage Foundation wrote that "Democrats who used to work on Capitol Hill are helping to disrupt Republican lawmakers’ town hall meetings across the country through a nationwide effort to oppose and 'resist' President Donald Trump’s agenda." Matthew Vadum, senior vice President at the Capital Research Center, said : “Indivisible is ultra-slick leftist astroturf activism at its finest.” The Daily Signal says they call their group Indivisible Guide, a name that came from an actual guide posted online telling activists how to pressure members of Congress. Among topics : what to say when going to town halls and calling or visiting a member’s office. Leaders of the organization have loose ties to George Soros, the billionaire hedge fund manager who bankrolls liberal causes, according to the Capital Research Center, a conservative think tank that investigates nonprofits. However, in an email Friday to the Daily Signal, board members of Indivisible Guide denied financial backing from Soros : "We have received donations from more than 4,000 people since putting a donate button on our site two weeks ago. We think George Soros funds many worthy programs, but he has not funded us. We understand why it’s convenient for Republicans to dismiss widespread popular disapproval as astroturf, but anyone looking at the numbers for the Women’s March and other recent events knows better." Capital Research Center argues that Indivisible Guide’s board has indirect ties with left-leaning groups funded by Soros, as well as with other liberal organizations : “Indivisible is ultra-slick leftist astroturf activism at its finest,” Matthew Vadum told the Daily Signal in an email; “At least three of the group’s five principals -- Ezra Levin, Leah Greenberg, and Angel Padilla -- have ties to organizations funded by George Soros. Indivisible is apparently not yet a nonprofit, but plans are in the works to register it as a nonprofit.” The Daily signal reports that according to Vadum’s research : "Ezra Levin, a former staffer for Representative Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas, and his wife, Leah Greenberg, are the President and vice President of the Indivisible Guide’s board, respectively. Levin is also associate director of the Corporation for Enterprise Development, an anti-poverty nonprofit. Melissa Bradley, who sits on that group’s board, previously worked for Green for All, a group founded by liberal commentator and former Obama administration official Van Jones. She was appointed as a Soros Justice Fellow through the Open Society Foundations, which Soros founded. Greenberg previously worked for Humanity United, which is funded by Soros’s Open Society Institute. The secretary of Indivisible Guide, Angel Padilla, works for the National Immigration Law Center, which is funded by Soros through his Open Society Foundations. And treasurer Matt Traidi is the research team director for the Service Employees International Union, a major donor to and endorser of Democrat politicians." • Indivisible Guide boasts that it has disrupted town halls held by Republican lawmakers in Utah, California, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, and Nebraska. And the group, which amplifies its message over Twitter and other social media, promises it isn’t finished. Politico reported that local activists shouted down GOP Representative Justin Amash in Michigan. Police had to escort a GOP Representative at a California town hall meeting because of protesters. • In the fake news it is notorious for, a CNN report presented the disruption of a town hall meeting held Thursday night by Utah's GOP Representative Jason Chaffetz as a sign of a “grassroots” reaction to Trump such as the taxpayer-based tea party movement was against the Washington establishment. • ActBlue, a political action committee that raises millions of dollars for Democrat candidates, also raises money for Indivisible Guide. Its appeal says, in part : "As former congressional staffers and advocates, we want to help provide local activists with information, tools, and support to take action. Most of all we want you to be part of this nationwide movement." • The website of Indivisible Guide, also known simply as Indivisible, provides scripts for what activists should say when calling the office of their House or Senate members on various issues -- among them opposing senior Trump advisor Steve Bannon’s role in the White House, Trump’s nomination of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court, his refugee policy, and most other Trump policy positions. The Dqily Signal says the Indivisible website states : "More than 4,500 local groups have signed up to resist the Trump agenda in nearly every congressional district in the country. What’s more, you all are putting the guide into action -- showing up en masse to congressional district offices and events, and flooding the congressional phone lines. You’re resisting -- and it’s working....we want to demystify the heck out of Congress and build a vibrant community of angelic troublemakers." • Longstanding liberal groups such as Soros' MoveOn, the Working Families Party, and the American Civil Liberties Union have joined Indivisible Guide’s effort. Just two days after Trump’s inauguration, Indivisible Guide, MoveOn.org, and the Working Families Party organized a teleconference for activists that attracted 60,000 listeners, Politico reported. Indivisible did another call with ACLU focusing on Trump’s executive order aimed at increasing the vetting of immigrants from seven terrorism-prone Middle Eastern countries that drew about 35,000 listeners. MoveOn.org is conducting “Resist Trump” rallies across the country. The ACLU issued pamphlets about how to demonstrate, including instructions for protesters who attempted to disrupt Washington during Trump’s inauguration. In running for the Democratic presidential nomination, Senator Bernie Sanders called the Working Families Party “the closest thing there is to a political party that believes in my vision of democratic socialism.” • • • DEAR READERS, America, conservatives, the Republican Party and President Trump are at war. At war with the Progressive-Democrat "jihadists" who are determined to bring down the Trump presidency, the GOP and conservative constitutional govenrment in the American Republic at any cost and by any means. President GW Bush had in Vice President Dick Cheney a Righteous Rod to strike the leftist opposition. President Trump has Vice President Mike Pence, a solid professional who is dealing behind the scenes with Congress and all GOP factions to hold them to the promise they made as a Party to support President Trump. But, Trump needs a bouncer -- a gatekeepter who can handle the factions coming at Trump hourly. The gatekeeper should normally be the Chief of Staff. Reince Piebus is a good man, a real Republican -- but he is not a bouncer, not a gatekeeper who strikes fear into any and all, and he needs to be a senior counsellor where his experience and savvy about Washington elites can help Trump enormously. But, Trump needs, must have, a CHIEF OF STAFF. Somebody who can limit access to the President, determine which arguments the President hears, and exert the real muscle needed to keep eveyone quiet while policy and tactics are being worked out. And, when each policy or tactic is chosen, the Chief of Staff is responsible for making sure it is carried out in an effective way. The rollout of the immigration executive order is the best example of what is required of a presidential Chief of Staff -- get Attorney General Sessions on the calendar in the Senate in time for what he knew would be a highly controversial executive order, inform the critical leadership touch points at Homeland Security, Justice, US Attorneys' offices and the FBI that the immigration EO was coming down. An aggressive Chief of Staff would have speeded up the confirmation of President Trump's Cabinet appointments by pressuring Mitch McConnell to hold the Senate in session 24 hours a day, seven days a week, until all were confirmed. And, he would understand the critical truth that Trump cannot play the game with biased courts on their turf and with their rules about immigration policy. An assertive Chief of Staff would realize that Trump will need to make even tougher decisions down the road and so needs to confront the judiciary's illegality sooner, rather than later. • Above all, an aggressive Chief of Staff would play hard ball with Stephen Bannon and other conservatives in the White House, who mean well but are killing the Trump presidency by unorganized 'small bites.' • WHO is such a Chief of Staff??? I can name only one person -- Chris Christie. He takes no prisoners. That is what Trump and America and the Republican Party need. The problem with conservatives and Republicans is always that we are too gentle. But, this is war. Governor Christie understands war. He is a former US Attorney. He is brutally frank and unbending. He is Trump's 'Dick Cheney' waiting to do the job. • On February 15, 1898, the battleship USS Maine was catastrophically sunk in Havana Harbor. Sent to protect US interests during the Cuban revolt against Spain, she exploded suddenly without warning and sank quickly, killing nearly three quarters of her crew. Popular opinion in the US blamed Spain. The phrase "Remember the Maine, to Hell with Spain!" became a rallying cry for action, which came with the Spanish–American War later that year. Today, popular opinion is polarized and Trump is left dangling. We should be thankful that is has become obvious so quickly. Trump is a battleship Admiral without a war room captain.
