WikiLeaks Caught Hillary & Hacks before They Could Reach for Their BleachBit
Hillary Clinton may just have slipped on the WikiLeaks banana peel. TheHill's Julian Hattem reported today that "an official within Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign appeared to have discussions with sources inside the Department of Justice (DOJ) about ongoing open records lawsuits regarding the former Secretary of State’s emails." The source is a May 2015 email released on Tuesday by WikiLeaks, in which Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said that “DOJ folks” had “inform[ed]” him about an upcoming status conference in one of the lawsuits regarding Clinton’s private email setup. While most information about scheduled court events in a lawsuit would be available by contacting the court, it’s unclear whether the DOJ people Fallon spoke to officials who regularly communicate with the public on such matters, or whether the "status conference" was in fact public. However, as Hattem says, "the fact that Fallon -- a former spokesman with the Justice Department -- remained in contact with anyone from the Department is likely to renew allegations that the Obama administration maintained a very close relationship with Clinton’s presidential campaign. On Tuesday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said the connection was “unbelievable." Trump spokesman Jason Miller said in a statement on Tuesday that the email “shows a level of collusion which calls into question the entire investigation into her private server. The Department of Justice must release all communications with the Clinton campaign and her allies as soon as possible in order to definitively prove their investigation was completely above board.” ~~~~~~ The email from Fallon was contained in a collection of more than 1,000 messages allegedly stolen from campaign chairman John Podesta and posted to WikiLeaks on Tuesday. Trump and other Obama administration critics have railed at the Justice Department for its decision not to press charges against Clinton or her allies for mishandling classified information, and they were by outraged by a supposedly impromptu June meeting between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton on the tarmac at the Phoenix airport. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus attacked the apparent connection, suggesting that Clinton's email vulnerability could be key in the election : “Emails showing the Department of Justice was giving Hillary Clinton’s campaign inside information about an ongoing investigation into her email server is deeply disturbing and raises even more questions about Bill Clinton’s tarmac meeting with Attorney
General Loretta Lynch. Instead of facing consequences for her actions like others have, she’s been protected at every turn by the Obama administration so she can continue the failed policies of the last eight years." While the criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server was not underway at the time Fallon sent his email and would not begin for another two months, that investigation, which led to FBI Director James Comey refusing to recommend charges, was separate and distinct from the many Freedom of Information Act open records lawsuits filed in federal court accusing the State Department of unfairly withholding material
related to Clinton’s time in office. Critics have accused the State Department of dragging its feet in response to those demands. Personal lawyers for Clinton have been involved in some of the FOIA lawsuits, but her campaign has not been. Fallon said on Twitter Monday : “You [WikiLeaks] are no media organization. You are a propaganda arm of the Russian [government], running interference for their pet candidate, Trump.” PERHAPS if the mainstream media was doing its job of objectively reporting the news -- instead of serving as a "propaganda arm" for Hillary Clinton -- there would be no need for, or interest in, WikiLeaks. ~~~~~~ In any case, the White House was quick to jump to Hillary's defense, saying there was no political interference in the Clinton email probe. White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters aboard Air Force One on Tuesday : “Both the Attorney General and the FBI Director have made clear that the investigation of Secretary Clinton’s use of a private email server was conducted without regard to partisan politics.” Earnest noted Attorney General Loretta Lynch and FBI Director James Comey made similar assertions while testifying to Congress under oath. “They indicated that there was no influence from political actors on the investigation,” he said. “I’d rely on the public statements of individuals who are responsible to affirm the independence of that investigation.” The spokesman would not comment on whether it was appropriate for Clinton campaign aides to communicate with DOJ officials while investigators tried to determine whether she had mishandled classified material on the personal server setup she used when she was Secretary of State. But, thanks to Josh Earnest, Americans can sleep easy -- right?? -- becquse the Obama White House has denied protecting Hillary, and we all know that Obama has never lied to us -- except for Fast & Furious, the IRS scandal, Benghazi, his use of Hillary's email server, the Iran deal and secret cash payments to Iran. No lies at all -- they really do think we are all stupid. ~~~~~~ Meanwhile, Donald Trump, fed up with Speaker Paul Ryan's weak yes-and-no support, blasted him in a series of Twitter posts as a "very weak and ineffective leader" after Ryan said he would no longer support Trump. Trump tweeted : "Our very weak and ineffective leader, Paul Ryan, had a bad conference call where his members went wild at his disloyalty.” Trump also tweeted Tuesday that a lack of support from Ryan has made it “hard to do well,” in an apparent acknowledgment of increasing GOP infighting. On Monday, Trump tweeted that Ryan “should spend more time on balancing the budget, jobs and illegal immigration and not waste his time on fighting Republican nominee.” Brendan Buck, Ryan's spokesman, offered a subdued response to Trump, saying Ryan is "focusing the next month on defeating Democrats and all Republicans running for office should probably do the same." But, when Fox News asked Trump on Tuesday if he thinks establishment Republicans, including Ryan, will support him as President if he’s elected, Trump said "yes" while speculating about the Speaker's future : “They’ll be there. I would think that Ryan maybe wouldn’t be there, maybe he’ll be in a different position. The fact is, I think we should get support and we don’t get the support from guys like Paul Ryan.” Trump, calling himself "unshackled," says he is now going to run his race the way he has always wanted to. ~~~~~~ WikiLeaks on Monday also published 2,000 new emails it says were stolen from the email files of the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, releasing them shortly after the US government linked WikiLeaks to Russian hackers. The 2,000 John Podesta emails posted to WikiLeaks’ website on Monday follow a large batch of Podesta emails released on Friday evening. The messages date from as recently as this year and include several discussions about campaign tactics and updates. The cache of emails released Friday included portions of controversial speeches Clinton gave to major banks. In one of the newly released emails, opinion writer Brent Budowsky, who writes a column for TheHill, told Podesta the Clinton campaign was giving prominence to discussion about President Bill Clinton’s extramarital affairs by trying to limit his media exposure : “I had a multi-email exchange with someone in the media this morning -- a name you would know -- who is telling me that there are people close to the Clintons who says WJC's sex life could be damaging to her,” Budowsky wrote, referring to Bill Clinton. On Friday, shortly before WikiLeaks released the first 2,000 Podesta emails, US intelligence officials suggested WikiLeaks is being used to spread information stolen by hackers working for the Russian government. The Department of Homeland Security and Office of the Director of National Intelligence said in a joint statement that disclosures on WikiLeaks and elsewhere “are consistent with the methods and motivations of
Russian-directed efforts. These thefts and disclosures are intended to interfere with the US election process.” Clinton allies have accused Russia of trying to disrupt the electoral system in order to boost Republican nominee Donald Trump. Trump has dismissed the allegations, and suggested on Sunday that the intelligence analysis may be incorrect : “Any time anything wrong happens, they like to say the Russians -- well she doesn't know if it's the Russians doing the hacking.” ~~~~~~The Podesta emails show a high level of comfort with certain members of the mainstream news media. CNBC correspondent John Harwood emailed Podesta numerous times, on some occasions to request an interview and other times to offer advice. On May 8, 2015, Harwood wrote an email with the subject line “Watch out., saying : “Ben Carson could give you real trouble in a general [election],” Harwood wrote before linking to video clips of an interview Harwood did with Dr. Carson. In a July 2015 email, New York Times reporter Mark Leibovich emailed communications director Jennifer Palmieri several chunks of an interview he did with Hillary Clinton, and seemingly asked permission for the “option to use the following” portions. Palmieri suggested he cut a reference Clinton made to Sarah Palin and remove Clinton’s quote, “And gay rights has moved much faster than women’s rights or civil rights, which is an interesting phenomenon.” Palmieri ended one email : “Pleasure doing business!” In a January 2015 memo, former Politico reporter Maggie Haberman, who now works for The New York Times, was described as having “a very good relationship” with the campaign : “We have had her tee up stories for us before and have never been disappointed.” ~~~~~~ Hillary Clinton allies were apparently hoping the Republican primary electorate would nominate Donald Trump as the GOP candidate for President. Media analyst Brent Budowsky wrote to Podesta on March 13 : “Right now I am petrified that Hillary is almost totally dependent on Republicans nominating Trump....even a clown like Ted Cruz would be an even money bet to beat and this scares the hell of out me...” A Democrat National Committee strategy document from April 7, 2015, also wrote about “elevating the Pied Piper candidates,” identified as Trump, Cruz and Carson. ~~~~~~ Another leaked email exchange suggests that
Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile may have disclosed question material to the Clinton campaign ahead of a primary debate against Vermont senator Bernie Sanders. ~~~~~~ GOP officeholders have begun to return to the Trump fold. On Tuesday, Nebraska's Republican Senator Deb Fischer told a Nebraska radio station that she planned to vote for Trump and his running mate, Mike Pence : “I put out a statement...with regard to Mr. Trump’s comments. I felt they were disgusting. I felt they were unacceptable and I never said I was not voting for our Republican ticket.” What she actually said Saturday, a day after the leaked Trump tape was : "The comments made by Mr. Trump were disgusting and totally unacceptable under any circumstance. I would be wise for him to step aside and allow Mike Pence to serve as our party’s nominee,” according to the Omaha World-Herald. Fischer said Tuesday she respects Trump’s decision to not quit the race : "He decided he would not step aside. I respect his decision. I support the Republican ticket and it’s a Trump-Pence ticket." And, former Speaker of the House John Boehner says that despite numerous problems with the Republican presidential nominee, he is committed to vote for Donald Trump in November. "He is not a conservative. He is barely a
Republican," Boehner said in an interview. But his ideas, when you can get to them, are frankly more in the direction of what I would want the country to go to than Hillary Clinton....[which would be] more of the policies we see now in the Obama administration." Boehner then said that although Trump was not one of his top three of his choices in the Republican primary, he will vote for him anyway : "he's the nominee and I am going to vote for him." The former Speaker has said that he and Trump used to play golf together and once said they
were "texting buddies." ~~~~~~ Dear readers, one of the keys to the election is turnout. Donald Trump's supporters are energetically committed to him and to America and indicate often that they will vote on November 8. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has trouble generating enthusiasm from the Obama voting blocs she needs to win -- Millenials, African Americans and Latinos. We all need to helpTrump pull into the GOP voter ranks both traditional Republicans and Millenials, African Americans and Latinos, who have little enthusiasm for Hillary and could be persuaded by economic, education and job arguments to vote Trump. And if you're looking for a fresh argument -- how about this latest WikiLeaks revelation?? A top spokeswoman for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign mocked Catholics and evangelical Christians in a 2011 email exchange released by WikiLeaks this week. On Tuesday night on Fox News Channel's "The Kelly File", Megyn Kelly talked to Karl Rove about Jennifer Palmieri, now the Clinton campaign's director of communications, who in 2011 emailed that politically conservative Catholics "think [Roman Catholicism] is the most socially acceptable politically conservative religion. Their rich friends wouldn't understand if they became evangelicals." Palmieri was responding to a message from John Halpin, a Fellow at the liberal think tank Center for American Progress. Halpin had emailed about a magazine article that discussed 21st Century Fox /Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch's decision to raise his children in the Catholic faith : "Ken Auletta's latest piece on Murdoch in the New Yorker starts off with the aside that both Murdoch and Robert Thompson, managing editor of the [Wall Street Journal], are raising their kids Catholic. Friggin' Murdoch baptized his kids in Jordan where John the Baptist baptized
Jesus. It's an amazing bastardization of the faith. They must be attracted to the systematic thought and severely backwards gender relations and must be totally unaware of Christian democracy." The exchange was included in a batch of Clinton advisor, and now campaign manager, John Podesta's hacked emails. Podesta was copied on the exchange between Palmieri and Halpin, but did not comment or reprimand them. Karl Rove called the email exchange : "thinly veiled religious bigotry, not only against conservative Catholics, but also against evangelicals. They mock deeply held beliefs. They mock the idea that two conservative Catholics would have
their children baptized in the same river where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. I mean, this is really amazing that they would mock them. What Christians wouldn’t consider it a blessing to be able to afford to baptize their children in the Jordan River? This is so insensitive...I’m gonna say that it’s insensitive, but it strikes me that it really borders on bigotry, religious bigotry. This is unacceptable and Hillary Clinton ought to repudiate it." There has been no response from the Clinton campaign. But, we already know something about the Clinton Team attitude of being pious in public and trashing American values in private. To refresh our memories -- Center for American Progress is the flagship Progressive think tank founded and supported by George Soros. John Podesta was CAP's first president, and later, after leaving CAP to serve in the Obama White House, he became Hillary Clinton's campaign manager. What goes around comes around -- and it all ties Hillary Clinoton to George Soros and his Globalist goal of 'cutting America down to size' by ruining its economy, its culture, and its constitutional government. Do not be fooled by Hillary, no matter what she says in public to trick you into voting for her. Catholic groups are calling for Hillary to fire both Palmieri and Podesta. But, this is not only bigotry against Catholics and evangelicals. It is bigotry and shows profound disrespect for Christianity, the religion that is the foundation of America. If we conservatives or Donald Trump belittled Islam or equated it with "severely backwards gender relations," we would be called "irredeemable" and hanged in the Progressive public square. Be forewarned. Hillary and Soros will destroy "Christian democracy" and with it, America.

This Preseidential election is beginning to resemble a television drama series. One where each week new charges, countercharges, and alter et story lines arise and old ones just seem to slither into irrelevance.
ReplyDeleteIs Hiklary ever going to be called to answer (under oath) the charges brought to life by a wide variety sources.
There is no value in seeking the truth, if the truth is never acted on.
It matters not what lofty positions she has held or been close to. She must be held accountable. In fact if she was truly innocent of all chargers wouldn't she want to prove her innocence ???
What kind of nation are we that such a thing can happen here in the United States?
ReplyDeleteIs Hillary Clinton that important of a person that our laws can be so cavalierly ignored? If she becomes president and never faces justice for her crimes it’s a black mark on the nation and nothing to be proud of?
Fox News reports the decision to let Hillary Clinton off the hook for mishandling classified information has roiled the FBI and Department of Justice, with one person closely involved in the year-long probe telling FoxNews.com that career agents and attorneys on the case unanimously believed the Democratic presidential nominee should have been charged.
“No trial level attorney agreed, no agent working the case agreed, with the decision not to prosecute -- it was a top-down decision,” said the source, whose identity and role in the case has been verified by FoxNews.com.
