President Trump Is Winning the Battle with the Deep State and Democrat Party for America
THE BORDER NATIONAL EMERGENCY DECLARATION REJECTION BY CONGRESS WAS NOT ABOUT THE BORDER??? Just as the Obama Deep State cabal to destroy Donald Trump was not about "collusion." They were, and are, both about President Trump. Just as the Unholy Twelve GOP Senators that deserted their President and America were not about the Constitution. • • • THE DEEP STATE / DEMOCRAT CABAL TO OUST TRUMP GOES ON. • THE BORDER FIGHT. Those Unholy Twelve GOP Senators -- as one blog commenter said -- need to be "replaced on all committee assignments by Senator McConnell and essentially left out in the cold on all Senate business and all opportunity to develop a following at Senate business." • No less than Speaker Nancy Pelosi said last week that the House will not take up a new Senate GOP bill to re-structure the National Emergencies Act, saying her goal is to constrain President Trump, not to tackle the bigger presidential powers issues : “Republican Senators are proposing new legislation to allow the President to violate the Constitution just this once in order to give themselves cover. The House
will not take up this legislation to give President Trump a pass.” The Washington Times reported that Pelosi was referring to "a new bill
by Senator Mike Lee that would, in the future, limit a President’s powers under the 1976 National Emergencies Act. The bill would not apply retroactively to Mr. Trump’s recent border emergency declaration, nor to the more than two dozen other emergencies still in effect from previous Presidents." If, as the Washington Times noted : "Democrats say the GOP is using the Lee bill as political cover so they can vote to back Mr. Trump’s wall declaration, then cleanse themselves by voting to prevent repeats in the future," the Unholy Twelve lost out because no bill to re-do the National Emergencies Powers act ever reached either the House or Senate floor. Senators faced a showdown vote last Thursday on the wall declaration, and those 12 GOP Senators went over to the radical Socialist Democrat Party open-border, voter-fraud side ot make the difference by overturning the Declaration. President Trump then vetoed the bill, and there is not enough support i neither the House or the Senate to override his veto. The Washington Times described the National Emergencies Act as "a post-Watergate piece of legislation that gives the Executive Branch strong powers to rearrange money if the President declared an emergency is ongoing." In the border wall case, President Trump plans to take more than $6 billion from the Defense Department to use for wall-building. BUT, Pelosi voiced the practical politics of the border fight -- it is about President Trump. Pelosi was simply stating what we already knew -- that the Democrats didn’t object when President Obama claimed executive powers to create the DACA deportation amnesty. And, Democrats also voted for border fencing in the past, before President Trump took office. The National Emergency Declaration for the southern border situation is not about anything except getting rid of President Trump. • THE DEMOCRAT "FOR THE PEOPLE" ACT. Representative Tom Rice, South Carolina, in his weekly newsletter on March 10 wrote this : "Republicans have made our priorities in Congress clear -- growing our economy and creating opportunity -- and we’ve delivered on them. This week we voted on Democrats’ top priority legislation, a blatant power grab designed to line the pockets of Democratic politicians and protect their majority. They called it the 'For the People Act', but I think 'For the Democratic Majority Act' is a more fitting title. What Democrats are trying to sell as necessary election reform will federalize the election system and is an attempt to take away each state’s constitutional right to determine their own election process. Included in this 622-page bill of Democratic priorities are provisions that : Create a 6 to 1 taxpayer-funded match of small donor dollars to congressional campaigns, meaning for every $200 donated, the federal government will match $1,200. Your tax dollars will go to candidates you do not support. Impede states’ ability to determine their registration and voting practices, as protected under Article 1, Section 4, of the Constitution and violates separation of powers by Congress mandating ethics standards for the Supreme Court. Force states to accept a sworn statement as proof of identity instead of photo identification and allow felons to vote in federal elections regardless of state laws. Limit free speech by imposing vague standards that disadvantage any group that advocates on behalf of any legislative issue. HR 1 is not 'for the people.' It is a blatant power grab that politicizes and undermines our election process to serve Speaker Pelosi and the Democratic majority." HOW MANY illegal aliens would vote in 2020 by signing 'proof of identity' statements, if the GOP had not stopped this charade? • THE USE OF US MILITARY AND GOVERNORS WHO ARE WITHDRAWING THEIR NATIONAL GUARD FROM THE SOUTHERN BORDER. The Western Journal Conservative Tribune's Douglas Golden wrote last Wednesday that : "When President Trump deployed the National Guard to the border in April of [2018] to stop 'the flow of deadly drugs and other contraband, gang members and other criminals, and illegal aliens into this country,' the reaction was similar to that of this headline from Foreign Policy : 'Both Sides Are Overselling Trump’s Troop Deployment to the Border.' Writing for Foreign Policy, Lara Seligman said that 'the actual facts of the deployment do not live up to the hype from either side. The move -- coming right before crucial midterms while the caravan is more than a month away from reaching the US border on foot -- is arguably a political ploy. More important, once they arrive, the troops’ mission will be relatively benign. Since they are legally prohibited from performing domestic law enforcement, the troops will spend their time putting up razor wire and offering logistical support to border patrol agents, rather than making arrests themselves.' " BUT, a new report indicates that the “benign” mission made a serious dent in illegal cross-border traffic. The Washington Examiner reported last Tuesday that : “National Guard troops helped with the arrest of 23,034 illegal immigrants and the seizure of more than 35,000 pounds of drugs in the roughly 6 months they were deployed to the border in fiscal 2018, according to US Customs and Border Protection. The more than 23,000 people arrested were ‘deportable’ noncitizens, DHS said. The operation, dubbed ‘Guardian Support,’ also led federal law enforcement to more than 6,100 people who were later turned back, the data said. And yes, they did all of this without apprehending anybody. It turns out that razor wire and logistical support was fairly effective. 'Troops are providing support from the air, surveillance backup, and assistance with infrastructure projects such as vegetation clearing and road maintenance, not including border wall construction. Guardsmen can also be used to free up agents to leave their desks and get back out to the field,' the Examiner reported. 'The troops monitoring remote video surveillance systems have then been able to report sightings to a greater field of agents, and thus the number of apprehensions has increased, officials have said.” SO, the BENIGN military intervention on the southern border was certainly not benign. The Western Journal Conservative Tribune says : "According to Pew Research, there were almost 467,000 apprehensions at the southern border in 2018. Roughly 5% of apprehensions, in other words, had something to do with the National Guard. That points to a fairly effective record. So, why are certain governors withdrawing their National Guard troops from the border? California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that he would be withdrawing the Guard from the border with Mexico, calling 'the border ‘emergency’ a 'manufactured crisis.' 'California will not be part of this political theater, which is why I have given the National Guard a new mission. They will refocus on the real threats facing our state,' Newsom’s prepared remarks for his State of the State speech in February read, according to Fortune. This was days after New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, citing a 'charade of border fear-mongering,' also ordered most of the National Guardsmen to withdraw. 'I reject the federal contention that there exists an overwhelming national security crisis at the southern border,' she said, according to NPR. Yet, the deployment of the Guard to the border during this 'manufactured crisis' managed to apprehend more than 23,000 illegal immigrants in a year that saw the most apprehensions at the border since 2012 and an explosion in the number of family units apprehended." The Western Journal Conservative Tribune asks the right question : "So, are these troops benign? Or too effective? After all, the Democrats have made it clear they don’t particularly want any form of serious border security. They don’t believe there’s any sort of border crisis and don’t seem to care if illegal immigration levels are at their highest in six years. They simply don’t care -- and that’s why they don’t want the National Guard at the border. It has nothing to do with ineffectuality. Quite the opposite, actually. For the most cynical of reasons, they want illegal immigration to continue. Whatever externalities it may cause are worth the benefits for them." We are seeing the continuing Democrat Party operate its most effective get-out-the-vote scheme by getting IN the vote -- that is, allowing illegal aliens to flood into the US so thay can be registered as voters in the illegal Democrat plan to steal the 2020 presidential election and all other elections. • • • SENATOR GRAHAM IS DETERMINED TO FORCE THE DOJ TO INVESTIGATE THE DEEP STATE / DEMOCRAT CABAL. The Washington Times reported last week that : "Senator Lindsey Graham called Thursday for Congress to create a special counsel to probe the FBI and Justice Department, saying evidence is mounting that they treated Hillary Clinton more leniently than they did President Trump during the 2016 election campaign. Mr. Graham made the call as newly released documents show the extent of anti-Trump sentiment among FBI employees who were instrumental in handling the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s secret email server and in launching the Russia investigation that turned into Robert Mueller’s special counsel probe. The documents released this week -- transcripts of interviews from fired FBI agent Peter Strzok and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page -- show they were determined to prevent Mr. Trump from becoming president and had impeachment on their minds once he did take office. Mr. Graham took to the Senate floor to say Mr. Mueller has had his chance to deal with Mr. Trump and now it’s time to turn the microscope the other way. He said he will introduce legislation to create another special counsel for that purpose. 'There’s more than smoking guns here. There’s overwhelming evidence that somebody outside the political system should look into,' the South Carolina Republican said." • The Democrat-led House approved a resolution last Thursday morning urging Attorney General William Barr to release special counsel Mueller’s final report. The resolution passed on a 420-0 vote. But when Senate Democrats tried to raise it in the Senate, Judiciary Committee Chairman Graham objected. The Washington Times reported : "He said he would have allowed it if Democrats, in exchange, supported the special counsel he wants. But Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat, refused. 'We let [Robert] Mueller look at all things Trump related to collusion and otherwise. Somebody needs to look at what happened on the other side and find out whether the FBI and the DOJ had two systems -- one supporting the person they wanted to win, and one out to get the person they wanted to lose,” he said." • In remarks to The Heritage Foundation, Mr. Graham said his committee will hold hearings on bias at the FBI and the Justice Department : “Did they take what was apparently a molehill of evidence against Trump to open up an investigation as an insurance policy in case he won? I don’t know, but what I’ve heard bothers the hell out of me.” • The Washington Times said : "Senator Graham said the Senate specifically will get to the bottom of whether the FBI misled judges when it obtained a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant to spy on Trump campaign figure Carter Page : 'I promise everybody in the country that in the Senate, we’re going to have hearings about the FISA process.' Senator Graham said the hearings will focus on how the FBI obtained the warrant using a salacious, unverified Dossier written by former British spy Christopher
Steele. The Dossier is full of unsubstantiated claims about Mr. Trump’s ties to Russia. The FBI used the Dossier as part of its argument
to the court to obtain the surveillance warrant on Mr. Page, and used it in subsequent renewals of the warrant. The Dossier claims Mr.
Page met with Russian officials with ties to Kremlin strongman Vladimir Putin during the 2016 campaign. Mr. Page has vehemently denied the claim. It also claims longtime Trump fixer Michael Cohen met with Russians in the Czech Republic to coordinate plans -- a charge he also has denied and has continued to deny even since turning against Mr. Trump. Republicans have claimed the FBI has failed to disclose that the Dossier’s author was being funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign as opposition research. The Dossier, along with texts between Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page, are among the Republicans’ top evidence for misconduct at the FBI and Justice Department." • As we discussed in a blog last week, the Washington Times reported that : "The House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform committees, when they were controlled last year by Republicans, called in Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page to give testimony about their own behavior. Those transcripts were secret until this week, when Representative Doug Collins of Georgia, now the ranking Republican on the Judiciary Committee, inserted them into the Congressional Record. In a transcript released Thursday, Mr. Strzok said his favorable opinion of Mrs. Clinton did not influence the investigation into her use of her home server to send classified emails. But he acknowledged that Mrs. Clinton was not a target, subject or suspect during the investigation. Instead, investigators viewed her as 'a critical player.' He also disputed assertions that his texts to Ms. Page showed animus toward Mr. Trump -- though his memory didn’t jibe with that of Ms. Page, with whom he was having an adulterous affair at the
time. She testified that a text she sent to Mr. Strzok telling him the Trump investigation would save the country from a 'menace' referred
to Mr. Trump. Mr. Strzok told the committee that he thought the menace was Russia. Mr. Strzok also disputed the meaning of the now-
famous text in which Ms. Page fretted Mr. Trump would win the election. The former G-man responded 'No. No he won’t We’ll stop it.' This has been widely taken to mean the FBI would do what it had to do to prevent a Trump victory. While Mr. Strzok said in his testimony that he didn’t recall writing the text, he did add that he believes the 'we' he meant was the American voters. 'My answer ‘No’ was my personal belief that I did not think he would be,' the fired agent said, adding later, 'My best sense looking at this text that I didn’t recall until I read it very recently, was that ‘we’ is my belief that the American people -- there is no way that they’re going to elect him. What it is not is any statement that I would ever consider, let alone take any official action, to impact the presidency of the United States,' he said." • • • NOW WE KNOW THAT STEELE USED "RANDOM" ONLINE INFO TO "FILL OUT" THE DOSSIER. Fix This Nation wrote on Sunday : "In a deposition last year, former British spy Christopher Steele admitted that he used an unverified, user-submitted report found on a CNN website to help fill out the infamous Dossier on Donald Trump. The revelation highlights the fact that this Dossier was meant to be a piece of political propaganda and not the secret intelligence document that the Obama administration treated it as. A serious investigator would know better than to browse the internet, find some yahoo’s random story, and plug the information into his official Dossier. But someone merely putting together information to be used in a political smear campaign against their opponent? Well, that’s a different story. And yet, the FBI used this Dossier to secure warrants against Trump campaign advisers. They used it to justify opening a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign in the first place (despite their protests to the contrary). It continues to be used to build a fictional narrative against the President, and it continues to inform Democrats who want to investigate Trump into political oblivion." • Fix This Nation states : "In the deposition, which came during a lawsuit filed by Russian entrepreneur Aleksej Gubarev, Steele acknowledged that he verified allegations about Gubarev’s companies using a story he found 'on something called CNN iReport.' The only problem is that CNN iReport is even less reliable than CNN proper.
Now defunct, the website was a dumping ground for anyone who cared to post some original reporting of their own. Literally anyone. The website’s tagline was 'Unedited. Unfiltered. News.' It even came with a warning : 'The stories submitted by users are not edited, fact-checked or screened before they post.' Gubarev’s lawyers asked Steele if he knew the nature of the CNN iReport site. He said that he did not 'have any particular knowledge of that.' 'Do you understand that CNN iReports are or were nothing more than any random individuals’ assertions on the Internet?' he was asked. 'No, I obviously presume that if it is on a CNN site that it may have some kind of CNN status. Albeit that it may be an independent person posting on the site,' he replied. • THAT, states Fix This Nation, "is the kind of presumption you might make if you were just compiling research to be used by Hillary Clinton in a political campaign. You’re not going to go the extra mile to dot every 'i' and check every fact, because what does it matter? You’re just throwing a bunch of crap against the wall to see what sticks. That’s exactly why the FBI had no business using this garbage as the basis of an investigation and certainly no business securing surveillance warrants based on the trash reporting within its pages." • Shall we say it again -- There is NO EVIDENCE of collusion. • • • AND THE HAMMER IS DROPPING ON JOHN McCAIN. Senator McCain has long been at the center of the Dossier story. We have known for a year that he was contacted by a British former diplomat while at a conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Business Insider told the story for its French audience in May, 2018 when talking about McCain's new book : "John McCain describes how he received the Steele Dossier that contains the most salacious allegations about Trump and Russia. Republican Senator John McCain provides dramatic details of how he obtained the infamous Trump-Russia dossier in his new book, 'The Restless Wave.' The Trump-Russia Dossier alleges the Kremlin has been 'cultivating, supporting, and assisting' Trump for years under the watchful eye of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Many of its allegations are unverified. McCain wrote that it all seemed 'too strange a scenario to believe' at first, but felt 'even a remote risk that the President of the United States might be vulnerable to Russian extortion had to be investigated.'....The Republican Senator was attending an annual security conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia, shortly after the presidential election in November 2016 when retired a British diplomat approached him. According to McCain, he didn't recall ever having a previous conversation with Sir Andrew Wood, but may have met him before in passing. Chris Brose, a staff member on the Senate Armed Services Committee, and David Kramer, a former assistant secretary of state with Russian expertise, joined McCain and Wood in a room off the main conference hall. After discussing Russian election interference for a few minutes, Wood explained why he'd approached McCain in the first place. 'He told me he knew a former MI6 officer by the name of Christopher Steele, who had been commissioned to investigate connections between the Trump campaign and Russian agents as well as potentially compromising information about the President-elect that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin allegedly possessed,' McCain wrote. Wood told McCain that Steele had compiled a report, while careful to note the information was unverified, which the former British spy 'strongly believed merited a thorough examination by counterintelligence experts.' 'Our impromptu meeting felt charged with a strange intensity,' McCain wrote. 'No one wise-cracked to lighten the mood. We spoke in lowered voices. The room was dimly lit, and the atmosphere was eerie....After further discussion, the group agreed to send Kramer to London to meet Steele. When Kramer returned from the meeting and told McCain that Steele seemed to be a reputable source, the Republican senator agreed to receive a copy of the Dossier. 'The allegations were disturbing, but I had no idea which if any were true,' McCain said. 'I could not independently verify any of it, and so I did what any American who cares about our nation's security should have done. I put the Dossier in my office safe, called the office of the director of the FBI, Jim Comey, and asked for a meeting.' McCain ultimately turned the Dossier over to Comey in a meeting on December 9, 2016 that he said lasted about 10 minutes. 'I did what duty demanded I do,' McCain wrote, adding that anyone who disagrees with his decision can 'go to hell.' " • AND NOW, Conservative Newsroom has written in a Monday article, partly sourced from The Federalist Papers, that : "It has now been revealed to the public how far, now deceased Senator John McCain went to bring down President Trump. McCain was involved in pushing the discredited Dossier that began the Russia investigation. It shows that Senator McCain and an aide not only shared the Dossier with the FBI but also gave the Dossier to a variety of media companies, Fox News reported. McCain had denied being the source for BuzzFeed after it published the Dossier, which was funded by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, but had acknowledged giving it to the FBI. In a newly unsealed declaration from September, former senior counterintelligence FBI agent Bill Priestap
confirmed that the FBI received a copy of the first 33 pages of the Dossier in December 2016 from McCain. In another filing, David Kramer -- a former State Department official and McCain associate -- said in a December 13, 2017, deposition that the Dossier was given to him by author and former British spy Christopher Steele, which he then provided to more than a dozen journalists at outlets including CNN, BuzzFeed and the Washington Post. The details were first reported by The Daily Caller. The report was also shared with State Department official Victoria Nuland, Obama National Security Council official Celeste Wallander, and Representative Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill. The filings were unsealed as part of an ongoing libel case against BuzzFeed by a Russian businessman. In his deposition, Kramer said that McCain gave a copy of the Dossier to then-FBI Director James Comey on December 9. Kramer told investigators that it was the sense from Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson that 'having Senator McCain provide it to the FBI would give it a little more oomph than it had had up until that point. I think they felt a senior Republican was better to be the recipient of this rather than a Democrat because if it were a Democrat, I think that the view was that it would have been dismissed as a political attack,' Simpson said. Kramer said that he left Bensinger [Ken Bensinger, an investigative reporter for BuzzFeed News] by himself to read the Dossier but during that time Bensinger took photos of the Dossier and published it. When he found that BuzzFeed published the entire Dossier on January 10 he panicked and asked for it to be removed. 'I called Mr. Bensinger, and my first words out of my mouth were ‘you are gonna get people killed,’ Kramer told him." • NO WONDER President Trump is angry. Liberty Headlines was clear about it on Monday : "Trump Renews Attacks on the Late McCain for Leaking Fake Dossier." • In his final message to the nation, late US
senator John McCain launched a last broadside at Donald Trump, who lashed out at the late war hero John McCain for a second straight day on Sunday, amid reports an aide to the US Senator had shared a Dossier of allegations about his ties to Russia back in 2016. A day earlier, the President drew a stern rebuke from McCain’s daughter Meghan after he attacked McCain -- a fellow Republican who remained one of Trump’s toughest critics right up until his death of brain cancer last August. In a tweet, Trump quoted the independent counsel Ken Starr as saying it was a 'very dark stain' against McCain that he apparently helped spread the Dossier, compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele and financed in part by Democrat Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The most salacious claims in the contentious 'Steele Dossier' on the Trump campaign’s alleged Russian ties remain unverified." • President Trump’s attack came as Fox News reported that newly-unsealed court filings revealed that David Kramer, a long-time McCain associate shared the Dossier with the FBI and several media. On Sunday, the President tweeted : “So it was indeed (just proven in court papers) ‘last in his class’ (Annapolis) John McCain that sent the Fake Dossier to the FBI and Media hoping to have it printed BEFORE the Election....He & the Dems, working together, failed (as usual). Even the Fake News refused this garbage!” • McCain’s daughter Meghan fired back at the President, tweeting : “No one will ever love you the way they loved my father. I wish I had been given more Saturday’s with him. Maybe spend yours with your family instead of on twitter obsessing over mine?” • I suppose if we can quantify "love" for a politician as the number of votes they receive and hte offices htay hold, President Trump wins this on, hands down. Many
analysts believe that John McCain hated Donald Trump -- perhaps only because "President" Trump succeeded where McCain failed. Whatever he reason, John McCain was one of Trump’s sharpest critics, and made clear in his final wishes that he did not want the President at his funeral. AND, we all recall the many unkind and vitriolic comments made about President Trump at the McCain, which First Lady Melania Trump attended alone. • And, now we find that not only did Senator McCain do "what duty demanded I do," as he put it, but that he went far beyone duty to smut-up the campaign and presidency of Donald Trump because of some unclear hateful spite. If, as Senator McCain said, "anyone who disagrees with his decision can 'go to hell,' perhaps he will be the first in line. • • • DEAR READERS, before the enormous depth of John McCain's duplicity and hatred surfaced this week, a trusted friend and I were discussing the problems President Trump is having not only with the radical Progressive Democrats but with Republicans. We were wondering if the GOP can be saved from these RINOs and #Never Trumpers. I said ; "I will never leave the GOP -- unless or until it throws me out...and then I will take the GOP with me and regroup into the new, real GOP." But, I added : "Mitch McConnell is the key for me. He may occasionally follow Senate rules in a maddening fashion, but he is a Republican, and I'm not sure how many other real ones there are anywhere in Washington, except in the Trump cabinet. I was shocked at Senator Mike Lee, although he has been sidling away form Trump for a few months now, and Senator Rubio is just plain dumb -- he doesn't even understand his own constituency !!! Well, my friend said : "That is what needs to be done. Been here before. Not the time to cut bait and run at all. But the GOP must help straighten out their mess." That made me ask why Senator Ted Cruz was so quiet on the emergency declaration vote. Perhaps he realizes the Senate made a big mistake in 1976 but he isn't convinced this grandstand play is the way to fix the mistake, which would require a serious negotiation between the Senate and the White House. • And, as long as the GOP has only 53 seats, nothing much will get done. We need 60 GOP Senators and frankly that will require a 2020 landslide of historic proportions for Trump -- which is NOT out of the question. • WND reported on Monday that Rush Limbaugh was talking about a new poll that shows President Trump’s popularity is soaring in the key battleground states of Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. WND reported that President Trump "leads a generic Democratic nominee in those states 46% to 40%, according to a Wall Street Journal survey. Talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh told his listeners Monday it’s not hard to understand why. Voters in those states like the 'ongoing economic renaissance' they are experiencing. 'This wasn’t supposed happen. Trump was supposed to barely be above 30 now,' he said. But those states are 'all thriving under the President’s pro-growth economic policies,' the Pittsburgh Tribune Review reports. 'Indeed, Trump’s economic agenda has had a profound effect on Pennsylvania : The state’s 4% unemployment rate is now the lowest it’s been in nearly two decades, and the economy continues to add new jobs at a dizzying pace,' the paper said. Limbaugh said the other side of the coin is the five Sunbelt states where the President trails a generic Democrat 50%-39%. The states are Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Florida.'So what’s happening here?...How can Trump be leading 46-40 in these old Democrat Rust Belt states and down 50 to 39 in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas? I’ll tell you why. It’s because the people in these states giving Trump a 46 to 40 lead -- Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin -- are the people that can’t leave.' He explained : 'These are the people who live in their little towns where they grew up and they don’t want to leave, and they are staying. But others in these states are leaving because they have ruined these states. And they are taking their politics to the Sunbelt where they’re on the way to ruining those states. They create horrible economic circumstances by the way they vote, the people they vote for in these states, and it gets so bad they have to leave. And then they leave, and they take their liberalism with them, and they start voting for the same thing and the same kind of people that created the circumstance in their home states they have to flee.' " • Rush Limbaugh noted that pollster Frank Luntz says : “Trump has more support within the GOP than any Republican president since the invention of polling. If enough Democrats are not happy with their party’s nominee, overwhelming GOP support would be enough for Trump to win again.” • That is a good idea to build on for 2020. And here is another good idea for 2020. Newsmax reported on Monday that : "Just over a half of voters agree with President Donald Trump's long-shared condemnation of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation as a political witch hunt, according to the latest USA Today/Suffolk University Poll on Monday. A total of 503 registered voters among 1,000 polled (50.3%) replied 'yes' to the survey question : 'President Trump has called the special counsel's investigation a 'witch hunt' and said he's been subjected to more investigations than previous Presidents because of politics. Do you agree?' A total of 468 (46.8%) replied "No," while 27 were undecided (2.7%) and two refused to answer....Also notable in the poll results, support for the House to seriously consider impeaching President Trump has dropped 10 percentage points since October to just 28%, according to the report. • NOW we know why Pelosi is not interested in impeachment of the President. One thing Nancy Pelosi does very well is follow the political winds.
