Fox News 'intelligence' journalist Catherine Herridge reported on Monday that former top FBI lawyer James Baker is the subject of a criminal media leak probe. The revelation came in a transcript of Republican's questions showing that FBI leadership debated if Trump was directed by Russians to fire FBI Director James Comey. Representative John Ratcliffe confirmed that his questions to former FBI general counsel James Baker uncovered the claims first reported by the New York Times. Herridge summarizes : "The former top lawyer at the FBI has been under federal investigation for leaking to the media, a letter from House Republicans revealed Tuesday. The letter from GOP Representatives Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows cited the transcript of a congressional interview with former General Counsel James Baker and his lawyer last fall, where the probe conducted by seasoned US Attorney John Durham was confirmed : 'You may or may not know, [Baker has] been the subject of a leak investigation...a criminal leak investigation that’s still active at the Justice Department,' lawyer Daniel Levin told lawmakers, as he pushed back on questions about his client’s conversations with reporters. Jordan and Meadows’ letter was sent to Durham, the US attorney for Connecticut, and requested additional information about the probe later this month. 'As we continue our oversight and investigative work, we felt it prudent to write to you seeking an update. Without being apprised of the contours of your leak investigation and Baker’s role, we run the risk of inadvertently interfering with your prosecutorial plans,' they wrote. A source familiar with the US Attorney investigation told Fox News they believe the investigation of Baker remains opens, adding they understand it began during the Obama administration and not in the course of the Russia investigation. The transcript of the closed-door interview and the letter do not include details explaining why the investigation is being led out of the Connecticut office. The status of the investigation is not publicly known. • The disclosure marks the latest confirmation of a leak investigation involving FBI figures who have since left the bureau. Herridge goes on to reveal that last year, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's leak case was referred to the US Attorney in Washington, DC. McCabe was fired for lying to federal investigators about his role in a media leak regarding the Clinton Foundation on the eve of the 2016 presidential election. • The letter from the GOP's Jordan and Meadows cited other concerns that arose as part of their own investigation when Republicans controlled the House, as noted by Herridge : " 'The Committees learned that in some instances, high-ranking DOJ and FBI officials, including the FBI General Counsel James Baker and DOJ Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr, took the self-described ‘unusual’ step of inserting themselves into the evidentiary chain of custody.' Documents reviewed by Fox News indicate that Ohr became the back-channel between Christopher Steele, author of the controversial and unverified anti-Trump 'Dossier,' and the FBI after he [Steele] was fired by the bureau for lying about his contact with the media. According to a January 2018 memo by House Intelligence Committee Republicans on government surveillance practices, 'Steele was suspended and then terminated as an FBI source for what the FBI defines as the most serious of violations -- an authorized disclosure of his relationship with the FBI in an October 30, Mother Jones article.' " • The DOJ website states that US Attorney John Durham is a seasoned prosecutor who has been tapped by Republicans and Democrats to handle high-profile, national controversies. Durham has held various positions in the District of Connecticut for 35 years, prosecuting organized and violent crime, as well as public corruption. From 2008 to 2012, he also served as the acting US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, where he investigated the destruction of CIA interrogation tapes of senior al-Qaida operatives and, prior to that, he reviewed alleged criminal wrongdoing by FBI personnel in Boston connected to the Whitey Bulger case. • Herridge says that the FBI did not comment, and that Fox News also reached out to Baker, as well as the US Attorney’s office in Connecticut, for comment on the new letter. • • • SUSAN RICE, BEN RHODES, AND JAKE SULLIVAN TO BE DEPOSED UNDER OATH. They will be questioned about Hillary's email system and Benghazi. That's the Monday news from BlabberBuzz and Gateway Pundit, who quoted Judicial Watch : "Judicial Watch announced today that United States District Judge Royce C. Lamberth ruled that discovery can begin in Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. Obama administration senior State Department officials, lawyers and Clinton aides will now be deposed under oath. Senior officials, including Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, Jacob Sullivan, and FBI official E.W. Priestap, will now have to answer Judicial Watch’s written questions under oath. The court rejected the DOJ and State Department’s objections to Judicial Watch’s court-ordered discovery plan. (The court, in ordering a discovery plan last month, ruled that the Clinton email system was 'one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.') Judicial Watch’s discovery will seek answers to : Whether Clinton intentionally attempted to evade the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by using a non-government email system; whether the State Department’s efforts to settle this case beginning in late 2014 amounted to bad faith; and, whether the State Department adequately searched for records responsive to Judicial Watch’s FOIA request. Discovery is scheduled to be completed within 120 days. The court will hold a post-discovery hearing to determine if Judicial Watch may also depose additional witnesses, including Clinton and her former Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills." • Rice and Rhodes will ALSO answer interrogatories under oath on the BENGHAZI scandal. Rejecting the State and Justice Department objections to discovery on the infamous Benghazi talking points, Judge Lamberth reiterated : "Yet Rice’s talking points and State’s understanding of the attack play an unavoidably central role in this case : information about the points’ development and content, as well as their discussion and dissemination before and after Rice’s appearances could reveal unsearched, relevant records; State’s role in the points’ content and development could shed light on Clinton’s motives for shielding her emails from FOIA requesters or on State’s reluctance to search her emails." • Judge Lamberth also agreed that Judicial Watch may, in addition, serve interrogatories on Monica Hanley, a former staff member in the State Department’s Office of the Secretary, and on Lauren Jiloty, Clinton’s former special assistant. • Gateway Pundit states : "Last week Judicial Watch submitted a court-ordered discovery plan seeking depositions from top Obama officials involved in Hillary Clinton’s email scandal including Susan Rice and Ben Rhodes. The discovery plan stems from a December, 2018, ruling by Judge Royce Lamberth ordering the State Department and DOJ to submit discovery in three areas....The DOJ fought against Judicial Watch and colluded with Hillary Clinton’s cronies to limit discovery, but Judicial Watch prevailed. Tom Fitton celebrated the victory and applauded Judge Lamberth in a statement : 'In a major victory for accountability, Judge Lamberth today authorized Judicial Watch to take discovery on whether the Clinton email system evaded FOIA and whether the Benghazi scandal was one reason for keeping Mrs. Clinton’s email secret. Today, Judicial Watch issued document requests and other discovery to the State Department about the Clinton email scandal. Next up, we will begin questioning key witnesses under oath.' ” • • • OBAMA FBI AND OTHERS IGNORED "STANDARD PRACTICE." Also on Monday, Gateway Pundit's Joe Hoft listed 35 times that the Obama FBI “Deviated from Standard Practice” or "committed crimes in an effort to exonerate Hillary and indict Trump." Hoft explains that "the FBI leadership under the Obama Administration took many actions that deviated from standard practice [i.e., were corrupt and criminal] in their efforts to exonerate Hillary from her crimes and then spy and frame candidate and then President Trump....Time magazine of all places reported recently about the many efforts the FBI took related to Hillary exoneration and then the Trump framing. These corrupt and criminal actions have taken a desperate toll on the current members of the FBI...The bureau, which is used to making headlines for nabbing crooks, has been grabbing the spotlight for unwanted reasons : fired leaders, texts between lovers and, most of all, attacks by President Trump.'I don’t care what channel it’s on,' says Tom O’Connor, a veteran investigator in Washington who leads the FBI Agents Association. 'All you hear is negative stuff about the FBI...It gets depressing.' Of course the employees of the FBI are in a funk, their fearless and corrupt leaders, as well as leaders in Obama’s corrupt DOJ, went to extravagant links to exonerate the obvious criminal actions of Hillary Clinton, and then to do all they could to prevent candidate Trump from winning an election. Then once the election was won by President Trump, they went to unheard of depths of deceit and corruption to attempt to remove him from office." • Hoft then lists the actions the Deep State FBI took in their recent criminal actions surrounding the 2016 Presidential election and since -- here are the first 11 items, which are from the Time magazine post [with Hoft's comments in brackets] : "1 - Comey breached Justice Department protocols in a July 5, 2016, press conference when he criticized Hillary Clinton for using a private email server as Secretary of State even as he cleared her of any crimes. /// 2 - Comey reopened the Clinton email probe less than two weeks before the election. /// 3 - Andrew McCabe lied to the bureau’s internal investigations branch to cover up a leak he orchestrated about Clinton’s family foundation less than two weeks before the election and had lied for months about it. /// 4 - FBI wasn’t adequately investigating 'high-risk' employees who failed polygraph tests (but, in fact, putting them in charge of high-profile investigations, like Peter Strzok who failed his poly). In one instance, an FBI IT specialist with top-secret security clearance failed four polygraph tests and admitted to having created a fictitious Facebook account to communicate with a foreign national, but received no disciplinary action for that. /// 5 - The FBI’s miss of the Russian influence operation against the 2016 election, which went largely undetected for more than two years (The FBI had the chance to kill this Russian intrusion years before it reached crisis point in the election). Mueller’s Russia probe found that Moscow’s operation against the 2016 election first got under way in 2014, but the FBI failed to address it. /// 6 - The FBI was getting information it shouldn’t have had access to when it used controversial parts of the Patriot Act to obtain business records in terrorism and counterintelligence cases. /// 7 - The bureau missed the significance of the damaging 2015 hack of the DNC database [although others argue that the DNC was never hacked -- due to the FBI’s lack of investigative process, we may never know what happened.] /// 8 - The bureau also sat on the disputed 'Dossier' prepared by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele. [Which was then used for the entire case against Trump and anyone near him]. /// 9 - The bureau’s decision to surveil former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page was influenced by politics. /// 10 - Text messages between FBI special agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page, which were critical of Trump. /// 11 - Comey broke with Justice Department rules and norms by assuming authority usually held by prosecutors and speaking in public about a case that did not produce criminal charges." • As Joe Hoft spells the Obama FBI deviations for standard practice out, he also says this : "This may only be a partial list of FBI abuses and actions taken with deviations from standard practice, if not clear cut crimes. The gangsters who ran Obama’s FBI, from Mueller to Comey, are so corrupt, current and former agents are now embarrassed to be part of the once storied federal agency. Quite frankly, it’s doubtful if the FBI can ever be trusted again!" • That's a long list to wade through, but it tells us one critically important thing -- the Obama FBI was determined to save Hillary Clinton and destroy Donald Trump, legally OR ILLEGALLY, which ended up being their strategy. Can we even begin to believe that President Obama knew nothing about this -- or that FBI Director Comey never spoke to Obama about anything ???!!! • • • DEMOCRATS CREATE FALSE NEWS ABOUT GOP CANDIDATES. Recent news reports have revealed two so-called “false flag” operations by Democrats during the Alabama Senate special election in 2017, in which Democrat Doug Jones defeated embattled Republican nominee Roy Moore. In the Alabama race, a New York Times story revealed Monday that Democratic activists in 2017 created a Facebook page that gave the FALSE impression that it was the work of Baptist teetotalers supporting Moore in the Alabama contest. That “Dry Alabama” Facebook page that called for outlawing alcohol in the state was intended to alienate pro-business, moderate Republicans from Moore, the paper reported. In December, the NYT also reported that Democratic operatives, backed by Hoffman, created thousands of fake Russian accounts to give an impression the Russian government was supporting Moore. The secret project was carried out on Facebook and Twitter. After that revelation, Jones said he was "outraged" over the report and called for a federal investigation into the project.This week, the Washington Post also reported that Facebook is now looking into whether a liberal group bankrolled by a Democratic billionaire involved in the operations in Alabama also violated the social media network’s policies with misinformation in the 2018 midterm elections. • Rush Limbaugh called it "rich" in irony : "It was exactly the kind of operation they say that Trump and the Russians cooperated in to defeat Hillary." • After December's revelation of the first false flag operation in Alabama, liberal billionaire and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, who gave $100,000 to the cause, later apologized for his contributions and said he wasn't aware of what the group was doing. But Facebook is now also probing whether another organization funded by Hoffman, News for Democracy, produced content that misled people about its origin. Facebook spokesman Matt Steinfeld told the Washington Post : “People connecting with [pages] shouldn’t be misled about who’s behind them. Just as we’ve stepped up our enforcement of coordinated inauthentic behavior and financially motivated spam over the past year, we’ll continue improving so people can get more information about the pages they follow.” THE SECOND FALSE FLAG operation was carried out by News for Democracy through ads targeting conservative voters in bids to help Texas Democratic Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke and hurt Tennessee Republican Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn. O’Rourke lost his race, while Blackburn won. • • • AND WHERE DID THE FALSE FLAG MONEY COME FROM??? pjmedia reported last week that : " 'New Knowledge,' the Texas-based cybersecurity firm behind 'Project Birmingham,' the deceptive social media campaign that used Russian disinformation methods against Alabama Republican Roy Moore in the 2017 Senate special election, has ties to a Soros-funded non-profit with links to former British spy Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS." pjmedia was quoting the Daily Caller's Chuck Ross who broke the story. New Knowledge partnered with the sketchy non-profit Democracy Integrity Project (TDIP) before the 2018 midterms ostensibly to track alleged Russian disinformation networks on a website the organizations collaboratively ran. Both organizations have links to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), which is investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election, as well as possible Trump campaign collusion. SSCI provided New Knowledge with data from various social media companies as part of an investigation into Russian disinformation networks, according to a report New Knowledge released December 17. AND, two days later, news broke that New Knowledge’s chief executive was involved in a self-described “false flag” operation in the special election for a Senate seat in Alabama, as was another staffer who was the lead author on the Senate report. • TDIP is also linked to the Senate Intelligence Committee. TDIP founder, Daniel J. Jones, was previously a staffer for Democrats on SSCI. He was also in contact in early 2017 with Virginia Senator Mark Warner, the Democrat vice chairman of SSCI. As part of TDIP’s own Trump-Russia investigation, TDIP hired Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele, the author of the anti-Trump Dossier. As part of the public release of the House Intelligence Committee’s majority report on its Russia investigation, the executive branch declassified some previously classified information from an FBI document. That information detailed a March 2017 meeting between TDIP's Daniel Jones and the FBI. Daily Caller says that : "Jones stated that he was leading a research and investigatory advisory organization called the Penn Quarter Group, which 'had secured the services Steele, his associate [redacted], and Fusion GPS to continue exposing Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.' Mr. Jones further told the FBI that the Penn Quarter Group 'was being funded by 7 to 10 wealthy donors located primarily in New York and California, who provided approximately $50 million.' The report noted that Mr. Jones stated he planned to push the information he obtained from Fusion and Steele to policymakers on Capitol Hill, the press, and the FBI. As with statements to the Committee, statements to the FBI, like Mr. Jones’, are subject to 18 U.S.C. § 1001. So, despite the fact Mr. Simpson said he had no client after the election, he in fact did, and that client revealed himself to the FBI. • WHO IS Dan Jones? He is a a former staffer for Senator Dianne Feinstein, who currently serves as the ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Daily Caller states : "Together, TDIP and New Knowledge ran a dashboard at disinfo2018.com, purportedly to track 'social media disinformation networks -- to include suspected foreign state-actors -- conducting information warfare against the American public prior to the 2018 US midterm elections.' According to Daily Caller, the project was similar to Hamilton 68, another notorious dashboard, this one operated by the Alliance For Securing Democracy. Jonathon Morgan, a former State Department advisor and founder of New Knowledge, also helped create Hamilton 68 and has appeared frequently in the media to hyperventilate about Russia’s disinformation efforts. In an interview with BBC, Morgan claimed Russians were behind #ReleaseTheMemo, the hashtag used to call for the release of a memo from House Intel Republicans that questioned the FBI’s reliance on the unverified Steele Dossier to obtain surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page. New Knowledge recently produced a report on Russian disinformation networks for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, allegedly at SSCI's request. However, an SSCI official told the Daily Caller that the committee did not pay New Knowledge for the work and that the SSCI does not necessarily endorse the firm's findings. But now, thanks to the New York Times' damning Dec. 19, 2018, exposé implicating his firm in the false-flag operation against Moore, Morgan's reputation is in tatters. 'We orchestrated an elaborate ‘false flag’ operation that planted the idea that the Moore campaign was amplified on social media by a Russian botnet,' New Knowledge said in its internal report about the effort obtained by the New York Times. Numerous news outlets [swallowed] the false narrative and reported that Moore was being supported by a Russian disinformation network. In other words, Morgan, a cybersecurity expert who supposedly advises the Senate on Russian disinformation networks, spread disinformation on social media alleging that Moore's campaign was being assisted by Russian disinformation networks." • Better read that again slowly. • AND, Morgan has the gall ot insist that his firm deployed the Russian botnet false flag not to influence the election, but merely to study how the tactics worked. Morgan said : “The research project was intended to help us understand how these kinds of campaigns operated. We thought it was useful to work in the context of a real election but design it to have almost no impact.” As the Daily Caller says : "Virtually no one believes him. The left's hypocrisy, however appalling, is not in the least surprising. Nor are the tangled webs of left-wing networks they are constantly weaving." • • • AS FOR WHO PAID -- here is Daily Caller's outline : "Silicon Valley billionaire and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman gave $750,000 to American Engagement Technologies (AET), the group that hired New Knowledge to run the campaign. AET is run by Mikey Dickerson, a former Google engineer and Obama appointee who is also the executive director of the New Data Project, a nonprofit that developed the invasive 'Vote with Me' app used in the 2018 midterm elections to pressure millennials into voting for Democrats. AET is also behind a recently discovered disinformation campaign that posted misleading ads on Facebook pages in the run-up to the 2018 midterm elections. A couple of weeks ago, Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall said that he would be looking into the operation to see if it affected the closely fought Senate race. 'The information is concerning,' Marshall, a Republican, said. 'The impact it had on the election is something that’s significant for us to explore, and we’ll go from there.' " • Dan Jones' TDIP "has maintained a lower profile than New Knowledge," Daily Caller says : "Most of what’s known about the group has been revealed only through Adam Waldman, an attorney who had contact with the organization in 2017. Information that Jones, the TDIP founder, provided to the FBI was also released in an April 27, 2018, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence report. Jones, who registered TDIP on January 31, 2017, told the FBI in late March 2017 his organization had hired Fusion GPS and Steele, a former MI6 officer, to continue investigations into Russian meddling in the US elections that began with funding from the DNC and Clinton campaign. Jones also told the FBI the project had received $50 million in funding from between seven and 10 wealthy liberal donors. IRS records suggest TDIP did not receive all of that funding at once. Information from the nonprofit’s tax filings show the group received $9 million in 2017. Around the same time as his meeting with the FBI, Jones reached out to Waldman, an attorney with a myriad of links to players in the Russia saga. Waldman represented Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska and has apparent links to Steele. Waldman told Daily Caller that Jones told him that Fusion GPS was involved with TDIP. He also said Jones claimed Soros had provided funding for TDIP’s anti-Trump operation. Waldman showed Daily Caller text messages from March 17, 2017, in which Jones said TDIP helped plant anti-Trump news stories. 'Our team helped with this,' Jones wrote to Waldman, linking to a Reuters article about Russian investment in Florida properties owned by President Donald Trump. Waldman also exchanged text messages with [Democrat Senator] Warner throughout the spring of 2017. In one text to the lobbyist, the Senator expressed a desire to 'not have a paper trail' of his messages. He suggested in another text that he did not want Burr or any other Senator included in the discussions. In another text, he suggested that Warner was in close contact with Jones. 'Dan Jones is coming to see you,' Waldman wrote in an April 25, 2017, text message to Warner. It is not clear whether Jones has worked with any other congressional investigations into Fusion GPS’s involvement in the 2016 election." • Ask not for whom the False Flag Disinformation strategy works -- it works to elect Democrats. • • • HOW MANY FISA WARRANTS DID THE OBAMA FBI WANT?? Gateway Pundit's Joe Hoft reported on Sunday that : "The corrupt FBI apparently applied for more than one FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign. We now know from the transcripts of former and corrupt FBI attorney Lisa Page’s testimony in front of Congress that one of these requests was referred to the as the 'Dragon FISA.'....Strzok emailed Page on October 14, 2016, less than four weeks before Election Day. Four days later the same team was emailing about rushing to get approval for another FISA warrant for another Russia-related investigation code-named 'Dragon.' ” Hoft says the subject of the "Dragon FISA" remains unknown. But, text messages by corrupt lovers Page and Peter Strzok, we "may have an indication that the 'Dragon FISA' was something they could not believe they were even putting together." In one series of texts, it is likely that they were referring to the Dragon FISA or something related – Strzok: So. You come up with a codename? [redacted] Page: [redacted] Strzok: Ooh I like it. Want me to send to [redacted]? Page: If you want. Strzok: Why Latitude? (other than it sounds badass, and you came up with it) Page: Trying to think of something loosely military, without being obvious. Strzok: [redacted] YUUUUGE. Though we may save that for the man, if we ever open on him. Strzok: OMG I CANNOT BELIEVE WE ARE SERIOUSLY LOOKING AT THESE ALLEGATIONS AND THE PERVASIVE CONNECTIONS." • While there is no indication who the target of the Dragon FISA warrant was, the use of the codename -- "Latitude" -- and Page's references to wanting it to sound "military," suggest that it could have been the beginning of the Obama FBI focus on General Michael Flynn. • • • DEAR READERS, we can begin to see why the current crop of Democrats -- they actually began with Barack Obama and his insider group of senior counsel such as Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, James Clapper, John Brennan, and others -- are not "politicians" at all in the traditional or real sense of the word. They are subversives hiding inside the Democrat Party and supported by the Party because they can help elect Democrats by lying to and deceiving American voters. They are willing to destroy any Republican candidate who gets in their way. They use the internet and social media to disseminate FALSE NEWS that works because it reinforces the message the Democrat Party pushes and that the average Democrat voter is gullible enough to believe -- win by any means possible. That is the lesson that Americans find it hard to believe because it is so unlike America. But, we need to get hold of the truth -- these Democrats and their soulless, lying hired hands will not stop. So, they use what we used to call 'dirty tricks' -- at a level of sophistication impossible in the 20th century -- to steal votes by 'harvesting' and import and register illegal aliens through Democrat state laws that driver licenses for illegals an automatic voter registration device. America is still marginally a traditionally conservative nation, and none of these leftist policies enjoys majority support outside liberal coastal and big-city bastions. So, the new Democrats are pretending desperately to be the old Democrats -- but just long enough to complete the transformation of the Republic and twist it into a Socialist-Marxist state of elite rulers. THAT IS WHY Democrats encourage and pay for mass immigration even while making noises about "border security." They seek to import a new electorate that, ironically, is trying to escape from the same kind of socialist governments the new Democrats are trying to create in America. They will not stop. The next time any American has a ballot in his or her hands, they should think hard about what they want for America, as opposed to what the Democrats they vote for want for America. Time is running out. • Sean Hannity told his radio audience on Monday that President Trump is holding “five different buckets” of information that will reveal Deep State corruption at the top levels of government. A lot, frankly, there are a bunch of people still there that need to be fired. And if we’re going to have equal justice under the law, which I hope the new attorney general will bring, and equal application of our laws, then a lot of things are going to change very very quickly here. And maybe we’re beginning to see the work of John Huber, who was appointed by Jeff Sessions, you know, on leak issues, maybe now that work is coming to fruition. We still have Michael Horowitz, the Inspector General, he is to report back on FISA abuse, we already know that did take place...." THE, Hannity said : "We know that the President has five different buckets of information that he’s holding, in his hand, that will reveal corruption at levels we never dreamed or we never thought of." • IF President Trump has such information, NOW is the time to use it. Anyone who is telling the President to hang back and wait out the Mueller report or the 2020 election or whatever -- IS GIVING PRESIDENT TRUMP BAD ADVICE. The Republic is in grave danger. The Progressive-Socialist-Marxist-Globalists believe they are invincible. AND, soon they will be. So, the advice we have for President Trump is -- ACT NOW. There is very little TOMORROW left for America and her Republic.
