We The People Have Consented that Donald Trump Shall Govern

For more than a year, there was plenty of anecdotal evidence that Americans of all stripes were rallying to Donald Trump. But, the polls and the mainsteam media -- and the Progressive Democrats who supported Hillary Clinton -- ignored, or worse hid, the evidence. They chose to stay cocooned in their myopic view of America as a place where an elite leadership knows what is best for Americans. But, in their rush to triumph over the Deplorables of Donald Trump, they forgot the most important lesson America has been teaching since 1789. • • • WE THE PEOPLE. Not just the Puerto Rican vote in south Florida. Not just the Hispanic vote by those disgruntled that America would dare to shut the door on their unlawful entry. Not just the African American vote of a minority who believed that voting Democrat would forever shelter them from the rigors of real life. Not just the suburban college-educated white female vote of those who bought the lie that they were too smart to vote for a sexist. Not just the Hollywood vote of those who believed that their luxurious lifestyle could best be preserved by a President Hillary. Not just the Millennial vote of young people who could not remember the freedom of pre-Progressive America. Not just the vote of Moslems who believed that Obama was right in giving them a 'pass' about their civic duty to help root out islamic terrorists in their communities. • • • WE THE PEOPLE are much more than a handful of special interest groups with an advocate in the Obama White House. • • • Who are WE THE PEOPLE? Americans made jobless by anti-America trade deals and energy policies. Americans whose lives have been disrupted by criminals among illegal immigrants. Americans unable to afford healthcare because of high Obamacare premiums and deductibles. Americans working two jobs to try to hold their families together. American veterans abandoned by the government they defended. Americans who are homeless because of Obama's inability to fully pull America out of recession. Americans serving in the military whose lives were being sacrificed in the Middle East for no discernible policy purpose. Americans who were browbeaten into being afraid to express their opinions if they differed from 'political correctness' ideas. Americans in the white majority whose 'whiteness' was ridiculed and suppressed. Americans of the majority Christian faith who saw their beliefs trashed at the altar of an unrecognizable interpretation of the First Amendment. Americans whose right to bear arms was under constant siege. Americans who cringed at the moral bankruptcy of aborting 9-month-old fetuses. Americans serving on police forces called racist simply because they did their jobs. American white men, whatever their education level, who were stereotyped as bigoted ignorant unredeemable deplorables. • • • THE VICTORY OF DONALD TRUMP GAVE RENEWED MEANING TO WE THE PEOPLE. Trump reached out to the silent Americans who felt betrayed by a man they had thought would bind Americans of all races and creeds together. Their abuse at his hands and the hands of his surrogates in the Progressive Left of the Democrat Party gave them no choice except to vote for the person who spoke their language and heard their pain and promised to help them. And, despite the ridicule and oppression this silent majority had heaped on them in the last eight years, they rose up to confront the forces that had robbed them of their right to the fundamental concept of the US Constitution -- that the rule of law functions because of the "Consent of the Governed." Their rights and liberties as free Americans had been stolen by a renegade unconstitutional federal government operating without their Consent. It was the Declaration of Independence that established the foundation for the US Constitution. In the Declaration's Preamble, it is written : "We hold these truths to be self-evident : That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; that, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed..." • • • Dear readers, in 2016, beat-upon silent Americans knew that they had been invaded by "Visigoths," in much the same way the Roman Empire was invaded by those who mingled in their midst but sought to destroy them and their way of life. Americans finally found the faith, the courage and the voice of Donald Trump to save themselves from destruction. The US Constitution, written in 1787, ratified in 1788, and in operation since 1789 -- the world's longest surviving written charter of government -- was their rallying cry, and regaining their liberties and rights as Americans, guaranteed by their Constitution, was their hope. They succeeded to put into play the forces that now have the power to re-make America into the constitutional republic of free men and women that was momentarily stolen from them without their Consent. It is certainly the last time my generation will be called on to save the Union and the Constitution. We answered 'Present' one last time. Now it's up to my nephew, and your nieces and nephews and grandchildren, and their Millennial generation to carry on under the Constitution's banner of "We The People."

  1. The US presidential election is historic because the American people were able to defeat the oligarchs. Hillary Clinton, an agent for the Oligarchy, was defeated despite the vicious media campaign against Donald Trump. This shows that the media and the political establishments of the political parties no longer have credibility with the American people.

    It remains to be seen whether Trump can select and appoint a government that will serve him and his goals to restore American jobs and to establish friendly and respectful relations with Russia and China.

    It also remains to be seen how the Oligarchy will respond to Trump’s victory. Wall Street and the Federal Reserve can cause an economic crisis in order to put Trump on the defensive, and they can use the crisis to force Trump to appoint one of their own as Secretary of the Treasury.

    With Trump, there is at least hope. Unless Trump is obstructed by bad judgment in his appointments and by obstacles put in his way, we should expect an end to Washington’s orchestrated conflict with Russia, the removal of the US missiles on Russia’s border with Poland and Romania, the end of the conflict in Ukraine, and the end of Washington’s effort to overthrow the Syrian government. However, achievements such as these imply the defeat of the US Oligarchy. Although Trump defeated Hillary, the Oligarchy still exists and is still powerful

It would seem Obama, the Democratic Party, the Progressive Socialist movement, and the self-proclaimed (the past 40 years) 4th Pillar of Government has failed to take the pulse of the real America, a world of working class whites who felt they have been left in the lurch amid rapid-fire change from globalization and an increasingly multicultural society.

    Over the short term, Obama, whose approval ratings remain high as he prepares to leave office in January, might well ask what will even be left of his legacy after a Trump administration.

    Trump has promised to scrap or overhaul many of Obama’s signature initiatives, such as the health-care plan that bears his name, the battle against climate change and the Paris accord of 2015, and the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal.

    Donald Trump partnered with ‘the real Americans’, the backbone (even in the most difficult of times that this Republic has been trough) of America to form an alliance that is the re-birth of this nation.

  3. The game of Presidential politics will never again be played as it was before Tuesday, November 8th, 2016.

    As unexpected, as miss-understood, as unexplainable as Donald Trump’s miraculous grass roots victory was for him, it was also CPR for America and all Americans who had been refuted as the real “American base” of voters.

    Until last evening the cry from all the pundits has been that the GOP and Conservatism philosophy was dead and all those that resisted the Progressive Socialists agenda was equally as dead.

    The cry from the left was that the GOP and its followers HAD to make immediate and far reaching changes in their party’s base. Well we thankfully didn’t jump on that bandwagon.

    The GOP has always been open to anyone who shared our beliefs, and practiced our philosophies. And on Tuesday past those supporters came running out their front doors, down the tree lined streets of mid America and into the polling places to vote and reclaim what the Founders gave them some 250 years ago in the Constitution.

    No body, and I mean nobody saw what was about to happen yesterday. Some wanted to believe it was going to, but there was NO reason to be overly expectant of it.

    A very rich New Yorker and 50 million plus voters (a very strange marriage) took back as the television news commentators were at a loss for words. What they didn’t understand was that the simple American bends , but never breaks because of a ill wind that was blowing far too long against them.

    Thank you Donald, thank you Mr. President Elect. You have America’s heart-felt thanks.

  4. Except for Ronald Reagan we haven’t for years had an individual that was a by-stander on the side of the road that was willing to step in and do the “grunt” work required to fix America.

    No one would have ever thought in the wildest dreams that a new York business man, not a lawyer and certainly not a inside the beltway politician – but simply a man who sees the problems around him and fixes them.

    That’s what small town America does with their problems – they fix them, they don’t compound the problem by throwing tax payers monies at them, or being bogged down in wars for 15 years that never had an iota of importance to us.

    Donald Trump recognizes the problems of America and this world, and he wants & will fix them. And his priorities will be most important to least important. A shopping list of solutions that will save the Republic.
