Obama, Hillary and the Progressive Democrats Refuse to Accept their Election Loss

Friday night, Vice President-Elect Mike Pence and his family went to see the Broadway hit musical Hamilton. • PROGRESSIVES REJECT THE ELECTION. Pence was roundly booed by an audience of impollite theatre-goers in New York. Here's how the CNN running headline described it on Saturday : "Hamilton cast addresses VP Pence at show, expresses anxiety about future." The truth was much less well-mannered and unbecoming to Americans. People who can afford thousands of dollars (that is what it costs) to see a play about Alexander Hamilton are probably not terribly worried about the future under any President, so how could they be so disgustingly rude? While a few people cheered Pence, most booed. This is the low point to which the intolerant Progressive Left has led America. Adding to the insult to the Vice President-Elect and his family, Brandon Victor Dixon, the actor who plays Aaron Burr, the man who murdered Hamilton in a duel and became a traitor to America, delivered a lecture to Pence at the show's curtain call. Can't we just imagine these privileged actors composing their insults backstage during the performance? Dixon said he and his cast members are "alarmed," as though the country just elected a tyrant. He went on and on about "diversity," as though Trump and Pence are actually all the things the "fake news" mainstream media say they are. MSM has done its propaganda job well. The theatre-goers, like all Americans, unless they read online news to find out what the facts are -- are either ignorant of essential facts or deliberately feeding at the Progressive trough of misinformation. For example, Mike Pence, who is a deeply religious Christian, was rounded on by Progressives for his beliefs when he was Governor of Indiana, because he tried to maintain the mankind-old tradition of marriage as being between a man and a woman by protecting Christians from harassment by those who are not. • The Founder Alexander Hamilton would have approved of Pence's position. But, it appears that the theatre crowd on Friday night, although paying mega-bucks to see a play about Hamilton, forgot why they were there and instead accepted Obama's Progressive clamp-down on freedom these past eight years -- unconstitutional government by executive order, attacks on Christians and their beliefs, illegal immigration that has cost Americans jobs and sometimes their lives, and Obamacare that has put healthcare beyond the economic reach of many middle class Americans. Obama has profoundly changed America for the worse and 60 million Americans just delivered their "you're fired" message to him and Hillary Clinton with their votes. The real Alexander Hamilton stood for the principle, as did all the Founders -- that wealth and education and privilege bring great responsibility in the America of the Constitution, starting with the responsibility to be polite in political debate and to respect those with different opinions. The Friday audience and the Hamilton cast are an American embarrassment. • As Obama so crudely reminded Republicans in 2009, "elections have consequences, and I won." The consequence of his eight-year tenure as President is the rejection of all Obama stands for. The NY theatre crowd -- indeed the two coasts of America -- should begin to accept the fact that the damage done by Obama has been repudiated. Trump and America won in 2106. As President-Elect Trump put it in a tweet : “Our wonderful future VP Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen! The Theatre must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!” • • • OBAMA CONTINUES HIS DIVISIVE ATTACKS OF TRUMP. As if to drive home his deeply divisive policies, in Berlin on Thursday, President Obama told a press conference that he won’t tell people protesting the election of Donald Trump to be quiet : “There’s not a President in our history that at some point hasn’t been subject to these protests. So I would not advise people who feel strongly or are concerned about some of the issues that have been raised during the course of the campaign, I wouldn’t advise them to be silent.” Instead, Obama said : “Elections matter, voting matters, organizing matters, being informed on the issues matter” -- advice it is now far too late for Obama himself to heed. George Soros is funding the protests, paying for the buses and hand-made signs, and for the organizers. The MSM know this but they don't report it. As American Thinker put it Saturday : "The hypocrites on CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC and even Fox News pretend these masses of people are spontaneously rising up to deplore a perfectly legal democratic election. The college students are so proud of themselves for defending the illegal immigrants to this country. They are not yet cognizant that it is they who will be subsidizing them if and when they find employment. They are so proud of their own compassion, so contemptuous of people who hope to keep the money they earn for their own families. Had Hillary been elected, her proposed tax increases may well have precluded many of them completing their expensive educations. So for all to see, the Leftists have exposed their own gross hypocrisy, their duplicity. They refuse to accept the results of an election they were so certain would go their way. They continue to indict as deplorable anyone who voted for Trump. So, deluded by belief in their own superiority, they still think they are right and that they are smarter. Hypocrisy...arrogance." • • • TRUMP'S TAX PLAN DOES NOT FAVOR THE RICH. Financial legend and Donald Trump advisor Wilbur Ross told Newsmax TV that the President-Elect's "very progressive" tax strategies will mean lower financial burdens for all companies and eventually "every single category of wage earner." Ross said Trump's deregulation plan will also help revive growth. Ross -- who is a possible Trump pick for Commerce or Treasury Secretary -- also decried the lack of capital investment by corporations under the Obama administration : "Capital investment by corporations has been one of the big laggards in the recent very mild, weak recovery. And that entire economic recovery will be kicked into higher gear by Trump's proposed corporate tax rate cut from the 35% maximum rate to 15% maximum. The tax cut...in plain English means that anybody who's paying the full tax now as a business will get an immediate 30% boost to post-tax earnings. Very few companies have earnings growth of 30% in a year, so that's a wonderful thing and it's a permanent thing." Ross also explained how Trump will slash taxes for all levels of wage earner : "Every single category of wage earner, with one or two little flukey anomalies that'll be dealt with in the final legislation, gets a reduction. A married couple, with two children and a nanny, earning $50,000 a year will get more than a 35% reduction. Same couple, same number of children having a nanny, earning $75,000 will get a little over a 30% reduction. Same family structure earning $5 million a year will get around a 3% reduction." Ross said : "It's a very progressive thing in the sense that the least percentage benefit goes to the higher bracket and the highest percentage benefit goes to the lower bracket." Ross also said Trump's plans to deregulate are the right approach : "We estimate that regulation costs this country $2 trillion a year. Just cutting out 10% of that would be $200 billion a year and after the President-Elect's proposed tax rate of 15%, that would create about $70 billion after-tax earnings for American companies. That's money that will either be paid out in dividends or more likely mostly reinvested." • So, the next time somebody tells you that Trump will use "trickle down" tax policies that favor the rich, just quote Wilbur Ross -- he knows what he's talking about when it comes to money. • • • BANNON vs LA RAZA. The Hill's Ian M. Smith wrote on Friday about Progressive activists rejecting the democratic process by arranging protests against the recent appointment of Steve Bannon as White House Chief Strategist. The indignation stems from Bannon having previously presided over -- as the Progressives call it -- the “white ethno-nationalist propaganda mill”, Breitbart News. • But, these same Progressives were nowhere to be seen when President Obama 8 years ago appointed as White House advisors Cecilia Munoz and Felicia Escobar, both of whom had long been senior officials at the infamous National Council for La Raza. La Raza, or “the Race” in English, is an organization that reportedly encourages illegal aliens and non-citizens to vote, and whose founder, current University of Texas professor, Jose Angel Gutierrez, once advocated for mass violence against American whites. Gutierrez once stated : “We have got to eliminate the Gringo, and what I mean by that is that if the worst come to the worst, we have got to kill him.” If the Southern Poverty Law Center, the group behind the anti-Bannon ‘white nationalist’ label that’s now gone viral in the MSM, were consistent, La Raza, Munoz and Escobar’s former employer, would not only be labelled an ethno-nationalist organization but a “hate group” as well. • Munoz, a vice president and registered lobbyist at La Raza for 20 years, was chosen as a top White House advisor, despite the President’s vow to end lobbyist conflicts-of-interest. Smith says Munoz’s conflict appeared to be evident because La Raza was receiving (and continues to receive) millions of taxpayer dollars from the federal government (and from private foundations and corporations). To get around his own rule, Obama invoked a “public-interest” exemption to waive in Munoz on account of her “knowledge and expertise.” But, says Smith : "neither this, nor the organization’s clear ethno-centric mandate, received a moment’s attention from those outlets now calling from Bannon’s removal." • Consider that one of Munoz’s first tasks at the White House was to spearhead the so-called Task Force for New Americans, a mass naturalization program, which some have alleged was part of a broader strategy to register new immigrants, nearly half of whom are Hispanic, to vote for President Obama. Munoz’s Task Force was put to work in the 2016 general election, pushing Homeland Security, an agency apparently too cash-poor to deport illegal aliens, to ramp up the amount of fee waivers it provides to naturalization-applicants. The other top La Raza figure long-embedded in the Obama White House is Felicia Escobar. According to the immigration law press, along with Munoz, Escobar was brought in to “work overtime and breathe life into the President’s immigration actions” (read that as "executive order amnesty"). Both former La Raza officials were dominant fixtures within DHS’s immigration policy circles and attended meetings with Secretary Jeh Johnson and key immigration staff almost twenty times in the 2012 to 2104 period. • The Progressive Obama double standard at work -- some ethno-nationalisms are more equal than others -- nationalism is okay as long as it’s the policy of the right racial group. Bannon has said that he is not an ethno-nationalist, he is an American nationalist. And what's wrong with that??? • • • SANCTUARY CITIES. Democratic mayors in "sanctuary cities" say they're ready to do battle with President-elect Donald Trump, as city officials from Los Angeles to Washington vow not to cooperate with his administration on deportation orders for illegal immigrants. Mayors and police chiefs in a dozen major cities have re-affirmed their "sanctuary" status, putting them in direct conflict with Trump's immigration enforcement push -- and effectively daring him to slash sanctuary-city funding as he promised to do during the campaign. Chicago Mayor Emanuel Rahm, former Obama chief of staff, said : “To all those who are, after Tuesday’s election, very nervous and filled with anxiety as we’ve spoken to, you are safe in Chicago, you are secure in Chicago and you are supported in Chicago. Chicago will always be a sanctuary city.” Emanuel and officials in New York City, Seattle, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oakland - California, Providence - Rhode Island, Santa Fe, Denver, and Washington DC. all say they will maintain their sanctuary status. Emanuel challenged Trump’s call to cut funding : "I would say to the President-Elect, that the idea that you’re going to penalize Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia -- these are the economic, cultural and intellectual energy of this country." Question : what about Dallas, Atlanta, Charlotte, Phoenix, and other between-the-two-coasts cities that are often the engines for economic and job growth...??? • New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said last week he would go so far as to destroy a database of undocumented immigrants with city identification cards before handing it over to the Trump administration : “We are not going to sacrifice a half-million people who live amongst us. We will do everything we know how to do to resist that.” • What exactly is a sanctuary city? They are cities in which local law enforcement officials aren’t required to contact US Immigration and Customs Enforcement about the immigration status of people they come in contact with. That can mean, for example, that they don't notify the feds when an undocumented immigrant is about to be released from custody. Sanctuary cities also bar their employees, including police, from asking about a person's immigration status because crime victims and witnesses might be less likely to talk to investigators if they are worried about being deported. • Trump told "60 Minutes" recently that he plans to deport 2 million to 3 million undocumented immigrants who have a criminal history. He’s also said he could create a special deportation task force within ICE, although sanctuary city resistance could make this more difficult. Sanctuary policies surged back into the spotlight last year after the shooting death of Kathryn Steinle by an undocumented immigrant in San Francisco. The shooter had been released from a county jail even though federal officials had asked him to be held until they could take custody. Critics of sanctuary cities argue the policies harbor criminals and endanger public welfare. Former Speaker Newt Gingrich told Bill O'Reilly on Fox News : “President-elect Trump is talking about a very focused effort to get rid of people who are criminals. You’d think that the mayor of Chicago, in the middle of the worst murder pattern in the city’s history, would be thrilled to have somebody help him get rid of criminals.” But Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck calls Trump’s plan to deport illegal immigrants misguided and impractical : “I need them to work with their local police stations, I need them to be witnesses to violent crime. For a local law enforcement agency to take on [the] role of immigration enforcement tears that fabric apart.” Question : how did American cities get to the place where they need the help of illegal immigrants in order to maintain order...??? • The legal problem is that states and cities generally can't be required to enforce federal law -- and there's no US requirement that police ask about a person's immigration status. So, one of the few options Trump and the Republican-controlled Congress have is to pull funding from sanctuary cities. At a September campaign rally in Phoenix, Trump said, “Cities that refuse to cooperate with federal authorities will not receive taxpayer dollars” and he pledged his administration would “work with Congress to pass legislation to protect those jurisdictions that do assist federal authorities.” Trump’s ability to cut off federal funding rests primarily with Congress. Congressional Republicans have tried and failed to use federal funds as leverage, because Democrats in the Senate blocked a bill by Republican Senator David Vitter that would have stripped some federal funding from cities that shield illegal immigrant workers from federal immigration officials. Vitter, who is retiring from the Senate, tweeted recently : “#Sanctuary Cities are illegal, dangerous. Obvious 1st step: Withhold fed funding for cities ignoring immigration law.” The big GOP wins in the House and Senate on Election Day worry some like Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform : “This is one of [Trump’s] marquee campaign promises and it’s got strong Republican support. It’s very likely we’ll see legislative action early on." Two proposals ready to go are Kate’s Law, which would toughen penalties against anyone who re-enters the country after being deported, and the Stop Dangerous Sanctuary Cities Act, which would cut federal funding to any city that refuses to enforce immigration laws. Despite support from GOP lawmakers, it’s still unclear what money Trump might actually pull from the cities. The Supreme Court has held that Congress can impose conditions on the receipt of federal money by the states IF the conditions are reasonably related to the purpose of the money. For example, the feds threatened to withhold highway funds from any state that failed to adopt a 0.08 blood-alcohol limit : both the limit and the highway funding were related to road safety. But, the Justice Department inspector general looked at some jurisdictions with sanctuary policies earlier this year and concluded some appear to violate a federal law that says state and local governments may not prohibit or restrict officials from sharing information about a person’s immigration status with federal immigration officials. Having such policies could jeopardize millions of dollars in DOJ grant money the jurisdictions receive, the IG memo said. • The issue of sanctuary cities is one of the fundamental questions surrounding President-Elect Trump's goal of cleaning up America's illegal immigration mess. While America welcomes legal immigrants, the US is a country where the rule of law prevails -- excluding and/or deporting illegals who are criminals is high on the list of re-establishing the rule of law, along with preventing the entry of illegal immigrants by building a wall and taking other preventive measures. • • • OBAMA ATTORNEY GENERAL ONCE MORE CHERRY PICKS WHICH VIOLATIONS TO INVESTIGATE. While all is silence about her own inspector general's green light to investigte sanctuary cities for violations of federal law, last Friday, Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced that she is directing the Justice Department to investigate if the recent rise in hate crimes is related to the 2016 presidential election [the FBI report covers 2015 only] : "Many Americans are concerned by a spate of recent news reports about alleged hate crimes and harassment. The FBI is assessing, in conjunction with federal prosecutors, whether particular incidents constitute violations of federal law. Some of these incidents have happened in schools. Others have targeted houses of worship, and some have singled out individuals for attacks and intimidation." AG Lynch noted that the FBI has just released statistics showing a 67% increase in hate crimes against Moslems from last year, citing : "5,850 criminal incidents and 6,885 related offenses that were motivated by bias against race, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender and gender identity. These numbers should be deeply sobering for all Americans. We need you to continue to report these incidents to local law enforcement, as well as the Justice Department, so that our career investigators and prosecutors can take action to defend your rights. It's about making sure all Americans receive the protection of the law, and it's about giving real meaning to our shared belief that all people are created equal," she continued. "Put simply, this work is the right and just thing to do. I want the American people to know that as long as that work is necessary, the Department of Justice will continue to carry it forward." • • • THE FACTS IN THE FBI REPORT. The devil is always in the details -- and Attorney General Lynch conveniently forgot to mention the details about the "hate crimes against Moslems" surging 67%, according to the new FBI report. The FBI report says the number of crimes reported to police in 2015 shows religious hate crimes were up overall by 23% -- including 257 documented anti-Moslem hate crimes, up from 154 in 2014. CBS News noted the total is second only to the "surge in hate crimes following the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001." BUT -- THE BIGGEST TARGET OF HATE CRIMES, according to the FBI report, were Jews and Jewish institutions -- representing 53% of all those reported. • Here are the actual figures from the FBI 2015 Final Report on Hate Crimes. • • (1) Race/Ethnicity/Ancestry bias -- in 2015, law enforcement agencies reported 4,029 single-bias hate crimes based on race/ethnicity/ancestry. Of these offenses : • 52.7% were motivated by anti-Black or African American bias • 18.2% anti-White bias • 9.4% anti-Hispanic or Latino bias • 3.4% anti-American Indian or Alaska Native bias • 3.4% bias against groups of individuals consisting of more than one race (anti-multiple races, group) • 3.3% anti-Asian bias • 1.2% anti-Arab bias • 0.1% (6 offenses) were motivated by bias of anti-Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander • 8.2% were the result of an anti-other Race/Ethnicity/Ancestry bias. • • (2) The FBI report figures on hate crimes based on Religious Bias showed 1,354 offenses reported by law enforcement. A breakdown of the religious-biased offenses : • 51.3% were anti-Jewish • 22.2% anti-Islamic (Moslem) • 4.4% anti-Catholic • 4.2% anti-multiple religions, group • 3.7% anti-Eastern Orthodox (Russian, Greek, Other) • 3.5% anti-Protestant • 1.3% anti-Other Christian • 0.6% anti-Mormon • 0.4% (6 offenses) anti-Sikh • 0.4% (5 offenses) anti-Hindu • 0.1% (2 offenses) anti-Atheism/Agnosticism/etc. • 0.1% (1 offense) anti-Buddhist • 0.1% (1 offense) anti-Jehovah’s Witness • 7.7% anti-other (unspecified) religion. • Question : why is Obama's Attorney General making it seem that anti-Moslem hate crimes are the biggest problem when they are not, and why is she going to investigate 257 hate crimes against Moslems, while ignoring the 700 anti-Jewish hate crimes -- AND while not investigating the sanctuary cities that are harboring 2 to 3 million illegal immigrant criminals. Justice...??? or Obama's anti-Judeo-Christian bias. • • • Dear readers, Bill O'Reilly asked on Fox News recently if America is headed toward a civil war. That seems improbable, even if it makes for good soundbites. But, there is a very small group of what I would call "insurgents" who are well-funded and determined to bring down constitutional America and its rule of law. They want to change America into a country where a tiny minority terrorizes the vast majority by taking control of the govenrment and enforcing their radical socialist Progressive views on the last country that is so far holding out against their tyranny. Today's blog topics show that they are still attempting to direct every item that crosses a government desk into their Progressive framework -- even though their ideas were rejected on November 8.
