President Trump Speaks Truth to Power -- Where Are "We The People" to Support Him?

THE REAL NEWS IS THAT PRESIDENT TRUMP SPEAKS TRUTH TO POWER. And he is being battered for it. But, he told us he would be our "voice" and he is true to his word. • • • HISTORY CANNOT BE ERASED. Abraham Lincoln, a much-misused hero of American history, founded the Republican Party because he and his supporters could no longer support the pro-slavery positions of the Whig Party and the Democrat Party. Lincoln was no stranger to discord and personal attack as he tried to reason with a nation hell-bent on fighting it out over the question of slavery. Lincoln could not support slavery and refused to compromise by accepting that any state that wanted slavery to exist could have it. He also refused to accept the Democrat-offered compromise that states and territories newly coming into the Union should be able to choose whether to be "slave or free." • The true history of the Republican Party continued even after pro-slavery sympathizers assassinated President Lincoln. During Reconstruction, the period just after the Civil War until about 1876, Republicans worked with freed slaves and the majority of white Southerners, who had never supported slavery, to open schools for former slaves and bring them into the political process. Black Americans were elected to local and state legislatures, started businesses and were becoming part of the cloth of American society. BUT, Southern pro-slavery Democrats could not support Blacks being treated as equals and used racist arguments to gain control of state legislatures in the South that then enacted what we call the "Jim Crow" laws, overturning the Republican work to truly emancipate Black Americans. The Democrat Jim Crow laws forbade Blacks from voting, or holding public office, using white facilities, or attending most schools. The period of Segregation had begun and it was the product of the Southern Democrat Party. Segregation continued until World War II, when Black Americans formed their own brigades to fight the Nazi threat. General Eisenhower, later a Republican President, supported them and de-segregated the military. President Eisenhower sent troops to Little Rock to de-segregate schools. It was the Republican votes in the Senate that passed the 1964 Civil Rights Act -- because Southern Democrats refused to vote for its passage. That is the true history of the Republican Party. History CANNOT be erased. • President Lincoln was a realist, perhaps more than any President after him, and equaled only by Washington before him. Lincoln saw that the Union -- as he repeatedly called the United States because he wanted to drive home the truth that it was the Union that was being challenged by slavery supporters -- was under its greatest challenge for survival, and he said in his 1862 Message to Congress during the Civil War : "Fellow-citizens, we cannot escape history. We of this Congress and this administration, will be remembered in spite of ourselves. No personal significance, or insignificance, can spare one or another of us. The fiery trial through which we pass, will light us down, in honor or dishonor, to the latest generation....The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise -- with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew, and act anew. We must disentrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country." • And in that same 1862 Message to Congress, Lincoln spoke truth to power with words that hold heavy meaning today : "In times like the present, men should utter nothing for which they would not willingly be responsible through time and eternity." • • • PRESIDENT TRUMP SPOKE TRUTH TO POWER ON TUESDAY AND POWER ANSWERED WITH LIES. President Trump was right to say both the extreme Left and extreme Right were to blame for the Charlottesville violence. • But, Power responded with lies. The Daily Caller published an article on Tuesday about CNN explaining who the radical group Antifa is without mentioning the constant violence the organization commits -- CNN failed to discuss the violence perpetrated by Antifa, only elaborating on some of the “property damage” the group has carried out, and CNN also forgot the fact that over $1 million in damage was caused by Antifa in just one protest. • CNN forgot Antifa violence. The Daily Caller gives examples Antifa violence -- stabbing a police horse in the neck; beating people with bike locks; physically assaulting a reporter with The Daily Caller; chasing down fleeing people in order to beat them. • CNN also failed to mention that Antifa was declared a domestic terrorist group by New Jersey’s Office of Homeland Security and that the US Department of Homeland Security stated certain actions from Antifa were acts of “domestic terrorism” in a March 2017 memo. • The Antifa website has become the resource for anarchists and “anti-fascist” activists currently engaging in sporadic street battles across the United States against Trump supporters and the government. The site calls for violence against capitalists and anyone it labels a “fascist.” It features posters for self-identified anarchists that call for Trump supporters to be stabbed. A poster published in April shows the silhouette of a man with a Make America Great Again hat and a Pepe the Frog lapel pin being cornered by a bayonet. Behind him is the transparent silhouette of a Nazi. Other Antifa publications include burning the Canadian flag ahead of the country’s 150th anniversary, and an introduction to anarchism. In its publications, Antifa justifies violent actions as not only good but necessary to the survival of minorities and the disenfranchised. • • • PRESIDENT TRUMP SPOKE TRUTH TO POWER ABOUT RUSSIA AND POWER ANSWERED WITH LIES. On Tuesday, for reasons probably connected to reader dissatisfaction with its current "Destroy Trump" stance, the Washington Post wrote an article titled "Documents Show Russians Sought Meetings With Trump Campaign...and Team Trump Declined." The WP story puts a hole in the collusion storyline in which it and the rest of the mainstream media are heavily invested. In fact, wrote the WP, email records prove that Russian government envoys tried to open private lines of communication with the Trump campaign, and were rebuffed : a Trump campaign volunteer persisted between March and September, sending at least a half-dozen requests for Trump, as he was a candidate and then party nominee -- or for members of his team -- to meet with Russian officials. Then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort rejected in May, 2016, a proposal for Trump to meet with Russians. On March 24, Sam Clovis, the campaign co-chairman who also served on the foreign policy team, reacted to another proposed Russia meeting by writing : “We thought we probably should not go forward with any meeting with the Russians until we have had occasion to sit with our NATO allies.” In the same email chain, Charles Kubic, the retired admiral, reminded others about legal restrictions on meetings with certain Russian officials, adding, “Just want to make sure that no one on the team outruns their headlights and embarrasses the campaign.” • That doesn't sound like the behavior of an operation intent on collaborating with an adversarial foreign government, does it? • • • PRESIDENT TRUMP SPOKE TRUTH TO POWER ABOUT RUSSIA AND OBAMA LIED. The Daily Caller and other online media are now reporting that the Obama administration received multiple warnings from national security officials between 2014 and 2016 that the Kremlin was ramping up its intelligence operations and building disinformation networks it could use to disrupt the US political system. More than half a dozen current and former officials are being quoted. As early as 2014, the Obama administration received a report that quoted a well-connected Russian source as saying that the Kremlin was building a disinformation arm that could be used to interfere in Western democracies. The report, according to an official familiar with it, included a quote from the Russian source telling US officials in Moscow, "You have no idea how extensive these networks are in Europe...and in the US, Russia has penetrated media organizations, lobbying firms, political parties, governments and militaries in all of these places." Politico spoke with more than a dozen current and former officials from across the national security spectrum, including intelligence agencies, the State Department and the Pentagon. Almost all said they were aware of Russia’s aggressive cyber-espionage and disinformation campaigns, but, they felt that either the White House or key agencies were unwilling to act forcefully to counter the Russian actions. • The Obama administration didn't confront the problem with sufficient seriousness. Why not? Did he just arrogantly assume that Democrats would retain the White House, so poking the Russian bear wasn't worth it? Especially when there were other priorities -- Obama was legacy-building with the Iranian deal that he needed Russian help with. • • • PRESIDENT TRUMP SPOKE TRUTH TO POWER ABOUT BENGHAZI AND THE DEEP STATE LIED. But, it is not over. While Hillary may have thought that the September 11, 2012, attack was safely behind her, a US District Court just made a stunning decision that could very well put her Benghazi decisions in the spotlight again. Judge Amit Mehta ruled last week that the State Department had failed to exercise enough diligence when searching for messages sent by then-Secretary Clinton in the wake of the attack on America’s Benghazi diplomatic compound. He ordered State officials to go back and track down all intra-department emails sent by Clinton related to the terrorist invasion that left four Americans dead. • What the State Department had previously done was to search third-party emails -- the 30,000 carefully chosen emails turned over to State by Clinton; emails that came to light as a result of cooperation from Huma Abedin and other top Clinton aides; and, emails that came into Deep State possession after the FBI ran a forensic scan on Hillary’s private server. The State Department had found some 348 Benghazi-related emails sent by the former Secretary of State. • Not enough, said Judge Mehta -- while the State Department may have done a thorough job of searching emails that originated on Hillary Clinton-owned hardware, they did not conduct any searches of their own State Department systems. And Judge Mehta saw that as a huge problem : “To date, State has searched only data compilations originating from outside sources -- Secretary Clinton, her former aides, and the FBI....It has not, however, searched the one records system over which it has always had control and that is almost certain to contain some responsive records: the state.gov e-mail server,” Mehta wrote, adding, “If Secretary Clinton sent an e-mail about Benghazi to Abedin, Mills, or Sullivan at his or her state.gov e-mail address, or if one of them sent an e-mail to Secretary Clinton using his or her state.gov account, then State’s server presumably would have captured and stored such an e-mail. Therefore, State has an obligation to search its own server for responsive records.” • Trump has said all along that Americans deserve to know the truth about what happened that fateful night in Benghazi. • These holes between Deep State pronouncements on real scandals are many and serious -- the illegal surveillance of American citizens and their unmasking, the source of funding for the phony anti-Trump dossier arranged by the shadowy Fusion GPS, and the huge national security scandal surrounding Debbie Wasserman Schultz's Awan family IT staff from Pakistan given access to classified information via the House of Representatives computer network, including the House Intelligence Committee. • • • TRUMP SURROGATES ARE SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER ABOUT NORTH KOREA. White House aide Sebastian Gorka went on MSNBC last week to counter a few Obama-era myths. Asked if Trump’s military strategy against ISIS, combined with his travel ban on terrorist-haven Middle Eastern countries, would do anything to protect Americans from self-radicalized “lone wolf” threats, Gorka set off a truth bomb. Gorka answered : “There’s no such thing as a lone wolf. You do know that. That was a phrase invented by the last administration to make Americans stupid. There has never been a serious attack or a serious plot that was unconnected from ISIS or al Qaeda, at least through the ideology and the TTPs – the tactics, the training, the techniques, and the procedures – that they supply through the Internet. Never happened. It’s bogus.” • Media Research Center President Brent Bozell appeared on the Fox Business Channel last Friday, to counter journalists hammering Donald Trump’s response to the North Korean threat. Bozell said : “In the last three days, the national news media have given more attention criticizing the Commander-in-Chief of the United States than criticizing the man who is saying he is going to drop an atomic bomb on an American territory.” The MRC President attacked this as an example of “the news media [trying] to rally the American people against the Commander-in-Chief.” He concluded, “There is nothing mainstream about the news media anymore. As we have said many times, they want this man removed from office. This is the degree to which they're willing to go.” • Bozell quoted Harry Trumam : “We will obliterate Japan, a rain of ruin, the likes of which they have never, the world has never seen before." Bozell quoted Bill Clinton : “Quickly and overwhelming retaliate and end that country as they know it.” That is exactly the terminology that Donald Trump has been using, but nobody ever criticized Bill Clinton for it. Bozell said : "I can't recall anytime in modern American history or maybe in history at all, where the news media tried to rally the American people against the Commander-in-Chief. It is always been a case, no matter who the President was, that in a time of war, whether it was 9/11 or anything else, the country rallied behind the Commander-in-Chief by the media. These attacks are not coming just from left-wing radical guests. They're coming from the likes of NBC anchor Lester Holt, CNN anchor Jake Tapper and others." • In a rare moment of truth from MSNBC’s serial liar Brian Williams, last Tuesday, Williams admitted on his show The 11th Hour that “our job tonight actually is to scare people to death on this subject.” The subject Williams was referring to was the confrontation between President Trump and North Korea. That comment came during a 16-minute segment in which he and the stacked panel talked about the threat of North Korea and smeared President Trump for his recent comment to the radical regime. The disgraced Williams then touted a clip of a “nuclear expert” slamming the President, with Williams calling it “the most sobering quote of the evening.” The nuclear expert was Joe Cirincione, a former official for the Soros-backed Center for American Progress and a backer of President Obama’s Iran nuclear deal. According to him, the most concerning part of the situation with North Korea wasn’t their potential attacks against US cities, it was Trump : “No, what you’re worried about is you have two insecure, inexperienced, impulsive leaders in control of a vast amount of destructive force, squaring off in the most heavily militarized area on Earth,” Cirincione sputtered. • Consider these other media lobs at the Commander-in-Chief : MSNBC Panel All Agree : Trump a ‘Borderline Irrational Leader’ Like Kim Jong-un / Friedman : US Should Offer Peace Treaty, Full Relations to North Korea / SNL’s Weekend Update Special Portrays Eric Trump as Intellectually Disabled / Morning Joe Entertains Lefty Senator Wanting to Take Nuke Control From Trump / NBC Touts South Koreans Fearing ‘Fiery Rhetoric’...From Trump / Velshi Shuts Down GOP Rep When He Brings Up Clinton, Obama's Actions on N. Korea / Nasty Stephen Colbert to North Korea : Don’t Nuke Guam; They Didn’t Vote for Trump. • And, believe it or not -- the New York Times World @nytimesworld actually asked : "What’s a greater threat to Guam? North Korea, or climate change?" http://nyti.ms/2fxxibd" The NYT was pointing out visitors to the Fish Eye Marine Park in Guam on Friday when it wrote : "Threats by North Korea against the Pacific island do not appear to have hurt tourism, but scientists are warning that the industry could be in greater peril from climate change." • The NYT got clobbered in social media comments, but that didn't stop the Associated Press from wondering in a tweet, “Should” the US shoot down North Korean missiles if they were headed towards the US? • DUH??? • • • AND THAT BRINGS US BACK TO TRUMP SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER ABOUT CHARLOTTESVILLE. American Thinker's Rick Moran said on Wednesday : "After taking down Confederate statues, moving the tombstones of Confederate war dead may be next....Statues of generals, political leaders, and prominent citizens during that period in history are coming down all over the South following the violence in Charlottesville. Monuments that remind local citizens of their ancestors who died in the Civil War are also being removed." But, as Moran points out, Charlottesville is an "excuse to do what activists have wanted to do for decades" -- remove every last reminder that there was, at one time, the Confederacy. President Trump said it yesterday : “...will you tear down George Washington’s statue next? Do you like Jefferson? He was a slave owner. Will you tear down his statue, too? You are changing the history and changing the culture.” President Trump is right and everyone with eyes to see knows it. Moran says :"Indeed, anyone who believes that we will stop at taking down statues of Confederates or reminders of the Confederacy, doesn't understand the mindset of those behind this movement. To wit : On Monday, more than 200 SJW zealots held a protest inside the American Museum of Natural History in New York City to take down the supposedly 'racist' statue of former President Theodore Roosevelt. The protest’s organizers, NYC Stands with Standing Rock and Decolonize This Place, also called for Columbus Day to be renamed Indigenous People’s Day....'The statue is seen as an affront to all who pass it on entering the museum, but especially to African and Native Americans.' ” Moran says : "the next logical step is to put pressure on cemetery owners to remove the headstones of Confederate soldiers who died during the Civil War because the sentiments expressed on most of those headstones glorifies the south and honors the memory of someone who gave his life for the Confederacy....What about books that take a less than critical approach to the Confederacy? There are plenty those. Expect a bonfire in front of your local library soon....these people will not stop until there's no history to tell." • Thomas Lifson of American Thinker nailed it : "The Civil War/Slavery Memory Hole is merely a pretext for a much bigger and more sinister goal. The end game is to delegitimize the Constitutional Republic. A majority of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were slave holders. The Constitution was drafted by James Madison, a slave owner. If these figures are now beyond the pale (or will be soon), then logically, there is no reason to cling to the Bill of Rights or the Electoral College or any of the other instruments of an illegitimate racist regime. That’s the game....it is aimed at erasing history in the manner of many totalitarian regimes. The purpose is to be rid of the Constitution’s annoying constraints on government’s power to impose tyranny by delegitimizing its architects as slaveholders. The goal is tyranny, not the 'mere' erasure of history. Mao tried it in the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution and Pol Pot tried it in Cambodia, at a staggering cost in human lives and actual societal and intellectual regression. The goal was the power to reshape human nature and bring about paradise on earth. What are a few lives worth compared to that transcendent goal?" • Another American Thinker article hit a hot button about the real American "white people problem" : "The problem, now, and in our history, originates from white Democrats. It's whites who elect Democrats; who fund them; who support them. It's whites who make up the vast majority of millionaires, billionaires and their progeny in the US, and the vast majority of those millionaires, billionaires and their progeny vote Democrat. It's white Democrats who have made possible the municipal Democrat empires in Chicago (run by Democrats for the last 30,000 consecutive days); Detroit (22,000); Philadelphia (20,000); Baltimore (18,000); and Flint, where city residents drink water with lead in it. A not-believable, but true, fact is that Democrats have run Chicago longer than Stalin ran the Soviet Union, longer than the Castros so far run Cuba, and longer than the Kims have run North Korea....It's white Democrats...galavanting around the world in private, polluting jets; as gazillionaires who demand 'redistribution of wealth' and as politicians, who have scammed millions....It's white Democrats who invented the KKK, separate but equal, segregation, Jim Crow laws....It's white Democrats who wish to impeach a legally and democratically elected President, simply because their (white) candidate lost and lost badly....Yes, we have a white people problem, and there's no end in sight." • And, it is white Democrat mayors who apparently tell their police forces to stand down when marauding extremist cult groups they support start a rampage. It seems to have happened in Charlottesville last Friday and Saturday. • • • DEAR READERS, Black Pro-Trump Pastor Darrell Scott, the CEO of Presidednt Trump's National Diversity Coalition, got into a fiery exchange with MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle over the President’s most recent remarks on the violence that erupted in Charlottesville. Scott left the host visibly stunned when he argued that the media caused white supremacists to “gravitate” toward the President by repeatedly labeling him a “racist.” Scott claimed Trump condemned all violence and the racist groups in Charlottesville, but it’s never good enough for his critics : “It seems as if the only hate speech that is tolerated in America right now is hate speech against Trump supporters. I’m called a coon, a sellout, an Uncle Tom on a regular basis by members of the left that claim to be decent, moral, upstanding citizens.” Ruhle pointed out that Republicans and members of Trump’s own administration condemned the President’s comments during the much-talked about press conference. Scott responded by claiming there are members of the GOP who still don’t support an “outsider” like Trump, and they never will : “The media chose that candidate for them,” he said; adding, “Everyone wonders why the white supremacists gravitate toward Donald Trump. [It’s] because from the outset of his campaign...the left-wing media labeled Donald Trump as a racist, as a white supremacist. Because of that, the racists and the white supremacists, they heard that message and they said, ‘Well, if he is indeed that, then he is our candidate of choice.’ ” Ruhle couldn’t hide her disapproval of the statement and ended the interview on the spot. • Charlottesville put a spotlight on many things that we already knew -- there is evil in this world and we saw it marching in the form of white supremacists and Nazis, and Antifa, all of whom are full of hate and seek total control in America; the First Amendment applies to every United States citizen, even repugnant and reprehensible white supremacists, neo-Nazis and Antifa, who are protected by the First Amendment as long as they do not resort to violence; the same First Amendment is being used by Progressives, the MSM and their stormtroopers to shut down speech they don’t like, silencing those with opposing views and putting America on the road to socialism / communism / fascism / totalitarianism. • The most important thing we re-learned from Charlottesville is that most Republican elected officials are spineless. Not one Republican leader stood by Trump. Many Republicans joined Democrats who were screaming for Trump to say more, better, different. The mainstream media, intelligentsia, celebrities, and corporate elites have taken on the role of propagandists, peddling Progressive ideology. They all look into a TV camera to vow that Charlottesville showed that President Trump equals “alt right,” “white supremacist,” “racist,” “KKK,” and “Nazi.” • We all know the truth about Charlottesville. It was a pitched battle between two forces of hatred -- white supremacists and the KKK vs Antifa and BLM. It did not reflect Americans or America. Period. We also know that there was nothing Donald Trump could have said after the Charlottesville violence that would have been acceptable because the Progressive elites and their cohort of violent followers want to make sure Trump's administration cannot function -- who want to remove him from office, or worse. • The fellow-traveller stances of most Republicans and conservatives were cowardly. They should stand with President Trump on almost everything. But these #Never Trump Republicans and RINOs fail to grasp the truth that Trump is holding a spotlight up to -- the hate-driven evil is the Progressive agenda. We must name the enemy if it’s white supremacism, but we musn’t name the enemy when it’s Islam or Antifa or BLM. We must expose the hate that drives white supremacy, but lie about and/or protect the hate that is written in the Koran or on an Antifa website. We must assume a white supremacist knows what he’s doing and why, but never assume a jihadist or a violent BLM or Antifa rogue knows what he’s doing, saying piously that he “mentally ill,” never saying that his violence reflects an underlying anti-America doctrine. • And, strangely, those who support Trump seem unable to organize into a united force against the forces destroying the Republic. Progressives organize to destroy America. Why is nobody organizing to defend it?? Why do we go like sheep to the slaughter? Abraham Lincoln said in September 1959, just before his election : "The people -- the people -- are the rightful masters of both congresses, and courts -- not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert it." • Where are "We The People"???

  2. We, friends are witness a massive power play by the prior whispered about "DEEP STATE."

The Deep State is akin to a State within a state. It is a political situation in a country when an internal organ ("deep state"), such as the armed forces and civilian authorities (intelligence agencies, police, secret police, administrative agencies and branches of government bureaucracy), does not respond to the civilian political leadership.

Although the state within a state can be conspiratorial in nature, the deep state can also take the form of entrenched unelected career civil servants acting in a non-conspiratorial manner, to further their own interests (e.g. continuity of the state as distinct from the administration, job security, enhanced power and authority, pursuit of ideological goals and objectives, and the general growth of their agency) and in opposition to the policies of elected officials, by obstructing, resisting, and subverting the policies and directives of elected officials.

The term, like many in politics, derives from the Greek language (κράτος εν κράτει, kratos en kratei, later adopted into Latin as imperium in imperio[1] or status in statu).

In the old Soviet Union the KGB was the Deep State, and now today the KGB is the government of Russia.

Truth is the answer to answering secrecy.

  3. A book crucial to understanding the philosophical forces and ideas that have helped spawn what we’re witnessing today in Charlottesville and elsewhere is Return of the Primitive: The Anti-Industrial Revolution, a collection of essays by Ayn Rand. Here, Rand discusses two important factors; the relationship between racism and collectivism, and what is being taught in America’s universities philosophically. She also addresses several other topics that can help you understand our culture’s widespread anti-reason mentality.
