Trump Is Doing Well, But Justice Would Be Served by Investigating Democrat Elite Lawbreakers, including Hillary

TODAY'S REAL NEWS IS THAT ONE DEMOCRAT SEEKS WRIGGLE ROOM OVER UKRAINE. • The Democrats have trouble brewing in Ukraine and elsewhere as their Trump / Russia fake news falls apart around their ankles and the GOP healthcare bill kicks into high gear. • • • UKRAINE FOLLOW-UP. Fox News reported on Sunday that California Representative Adam Schiff said fellow Washington Democrats acted “inappropriately” if they indeed met with Ukrainian officials to get potentially damaging information on 2016 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump. Schiff was speaking as widespread probes, allegations and revelations continue ot circulate about the Trump campaign meeting with Russian officials to try to derail Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Schiff, the ranaking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee that is one of several congressional committees investigating possible Russian election interference, said : “It wouldn’t be appropriate for the Democrats to get help from the Ukrainian government. It would be problematic to get any kind of support from a foreign government.” • The White House was quick to respond. As Monday's blog pointed out -- Trump allies have recently noted a reported meeting last year between Democratic National Committee consultant and former Clinton White House staffer, Alexandra Chalupa, and officials at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington. The Chalupa connection to the DNC was revealed as details emerged about Donald Trump Jr. accepting a meeting in June 2016 with a Russian lawyer, on the possibility of potentially damaging information on Clinton. White House deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said on Monday : “If you are looking for an example of a campaign coordinating with a foreign country or a foreign source, look no further than the DNC, which actually coordinated opposition research with the Ukrainian Embassy. This is not an accusation. That is an on-the-record action that they took.” Sanders was referring to a meeting first reported by Politico on January 11 (see Monday's blog) -- between Ukrainian government officials who allegedly tried to help Clinton undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office and shared research and damaging information on Trump and his advisors, especially Paul Manafort, with Clinton allies. • The Ukrainian Embassy suggested that Sanders spoke without full information : “The Embassy of Ukraine in Washington did not coordinate with the DNC about opposition research. While some politicians who are not part of the Ukrainian government might have taken sides during last year’s elections in the US, the government of Ukraine did not.” However, Andrii Telizhenko, now a political consultant in Kyiv who worked as a political officer in the Ukrainian Embassy under Oksana Shulyar, top aide to Ukraine ambassador Valeriy Chaly, said she instructed him to help Chalupa research connections between Trump, Manafort and Russia, telling Politico : “Oksana said that if I had any information, or knew other people who did, then I should contact Chalupa. They were coordinating an investigation with the Hillary team on Paul Manafort with Alexandra Chalupa. Oksana was keeping it all quiet,” but “the embassy worked very closely with” Chalupa. • While Representative Schiff acknowledged that Democrats seeking such information on Trump from Ukrainian officials would be inappropriate, he said that doesn’t compare to what Russia did in the 2016 White House race. But, the DNC paid Chalupa $412,000 in the period from 2004 to mid-2016 -- what was it for??? • • • JIM CARVILLE GIVES UP ON THE SENATE. Bill Clinton’s former campaign manager doesn’t think Democrats can win back the US Senate in 2018, saying it would be “very, very” difficult for Democrats to win control of the Senate because the party is without a leader : ”If a party is out of power, and we don’t have a presidential candidate, there is no one going to be in charge until sometime in 2020," Carville told John Catsimatidis on Sunday's “Cats Roundtable” radio show, “Right now most Democrats are trying to focus on the 2018 election.” • Carville is undoubtedly right about the Senate, where the GOP may even pick up one or two seats. But, his prediction about the Democrats having a "50% chance" of taking back the House majority seems far-fetched -- Republicans now have a 240 to 194 lead in the House and the Democrats would need to win 23 House races to even tie the GOP -- hard to do. Carville said of the Senate : “The problem in the Senate is we have a large number of seats we have to hold in states that Donald Trump carried. Indiana, Missouri, you know, places like that we have to hold seats.” • • • HEALTHCARE. Carville is a wily political pro and his comment about healthcare is worth thinking about : "Democrats may have the health care issue on their side in the elections as Republicans struggle to repeal and replace Obamacare, a main campaign pledge from President Trump. The problem with healthcare is this : Anybody that moves to change healthcare loses.... It is one of these things if you pick it up, it bites you.” • This is the reason that HHS Secretary Tom Price should be the lead GOP voice on healthcare reform -- his answers are clear and emphasize the advantages of the GOP plan and the fact that the pending bill in Congress is just the first step in the reform. Price needs the congressional leadership of Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell to push the bill through Congress, but they too often get tangled up in legislative details and forget to tell Americans what they need and want to know -- that the GOP healthcare reform package will insure more Americans with better, less expensive plans that leave nobody -- especially older Americans and vets -- without coverage because of pre-existing conditions or inability to pay premiums. • • • TRUMP WAS WELCOME IN FRANCE. A new French poll has revealed that French citizens approve of President Trump’s visit to the country after being invited by President Emmanuel Macron to attend the annual Bastille Day parade. Trump’s visit was expected to create protests from far left activists in Paris, a very left-leaning city, but a new study conducted by the Elabe Institute of 995 people over a two-day period shows the majority of the rest of the country approved of President Macron’s decision to invite the American president, French broadcaster BFM-TV reports. Of those polled, 59% favored the visit, with the greatest support coming from those who identify as conservative -- 69% of supporters of former Les Républicains presidential candidate François Fillon were in favor, and 67% of anti-mass migration Front National leader Marine Le Pen agreed the invitation was a good move by Macron. The far-left supporters of former presidential candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon were predictably against the visit, but only by 56%, as 44% favored it. Age also played a role in the polling, with young people aged 18 to 24 being the most divided on the visit, although 52% agreed with Macron’s invitation. Retirees and those over 65 expressed the strongest agreement, with 63% in favor. • Macron’s invitation came as a surprise to many after he had attacked Trump for the US departure from the Paris climate agreement in June. But, since winning the legislative elections in mid-June that gave him a wide majority in the Assemblée Nationale, Macron has presented a different perception of his presidency, calling himself a “Jupiterian” leader and claiming his thoughts are “too complex” for the press to understand. Surprising to most observers, Macron has also proposed new migrant policies, promising to increase the number of deportations of illegal immigrants in the near future. He also said recently that African nations, from where much of the current migrant flow to Italy originate, do not need more financial aid from Western countries but instead need to have fewer children, with their problems being “civilizational.” • That is a revolutionary statement coming from a French president who wants to be the leader of the European Union. While most ordinary EU citizens will undoubtedly agree with him, the EU elites have a very different open-door view of migration. • • • TRUMP'S US POLLS ARE ALSO LOOKING GOOD. Newsmax's Eric Mack reported on Sunday that President Trump's approval rating has dipped to 50% in 439 select "surge" and "flip" counties in 16 states that fueled his victory last November, according to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, which was released in part Sunday morning. The presidential approval poll surveyed adults in "Trump counties" that either flipped from former President Barack Obama or where Trump beat Mitt Romney's 2012 performance. In those counties, of the 50% who approve, 29% do so "strongly," while of the 46% who disapprove, 35% do so "strongly." The 16 states polled were : Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin. The results were also broken down by "flip" and "surge" counties, according to the report. In counties which "flipped" from Obama in 2012 to Trump in 2016 : 44% approve of Trump's job performance, while 51% disapprove. In counties which "surged" even more toward Trump and the GOP in 2016 from Romney in 2012 : 56% approve of Trump's job performance and 40% disapprove. While the poll suggests that Trump has lost ground in counties he was able to flip from Obama in his favor in the 2016 election, the fact that he is still able to hold "Romney" -- i.e., traditional -- Republicans, as well as keep his Obama voters in "flip" counties at 44%, indicates that Trump has a goldmine of votes to deliver in the 2018 mid-terms -- if the #NeverTrump Republicans stay in line and the candidates let Trump work his magic for them. • The poll, in which more results will be released later this week, according to the report, surveyed "adults" and not necessarily "voters." President Trump has long contended polling results do not accurately reflect the voting results and the potential inclusion of illegals in polling would sway results against him, since he is working to fight illegal immigration. The NBC/WSJ poll surveyed 600 adults in those 439 counties and has a margin of error of plus-minus 4.0%. But, Newsmax says even the total poll was tilted toward the counties less favorable to Trump and the GOP -- 342 adults were surveyed in "flip" counties with a 5.3% margin or error, while just 258 adults were polled in "surge" counties with a 6.1% margin of error. Even with those skewed polling samples, the poll means that Trump could be at 50% with flipped Obama voters and at 62% with surging Romney voters. That is really good news for Trump and the GOP. • • • MORE GOOD NEWS -- THE BORDER WALL WORK IS STARTING. Blabber Buzz reported Monday that work on the first section of the Trump border wall has started on federally-owned land in South Texas, according to a media report. Anonymous federal officials closely associated with the project confirm that discreet planning has been in-progress for over six months, and construction could commence in January of 2018 on a nearly three mile stretch of barrier that would run through the Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge near McAllen, Texas, which was a hotbed of illegal crossings during the Obama administration. The Texas Observer newspaper wrote : “The structure would consist of a concrete base, which would serve as a levee, and be topped with a fence made of steel bollards, similar to a levee wall built almost a decade ago near Hidalgo, Texas. The proposed plans call for building a road south of the wall and clearing refuge land on either side of the wall for surveillance, cameras and light towers.” • Of course, Progressives are already gearing up to fight its construction by claiming the wall will supposedly “destroy the refuge,” an argument which places the health and welfare of plants and birds above those of American citizens who are the victims of criminal illegal immigrants on a daily basis. But, in a hint of funds to come, House Democrats ahve thus far failed to muster sufficient support to block funds for the border Wall. • • • AND SOME SAD NEWS ABOUT AN AMERICAN SAILOR. Washington Times reporter Rowan Scarborough wrote on Sunday, July 9, about the family and lawyers who support former Navy sailor Kristian Saucier and hope President Trump would be receptive to the “Hillary Clinton defense.” Saucier was convicted and imprisoned for keeping never-distributed personal photos of classified sections of an attack submarine on his cellphone. He argued that Mrs. Clinton, while Secretary of State, did much worse. She mishandled pages of secret material on her personal computer system and got off scot-free. Fox's Sean Hannity talked about the Saucier case in January, when he interviewed President Trump, who said : “I think it’s very unfair in light of what’s happened with other people." Trump had referred to the Saucier case on the campaign trail as a way of highlighting Hillary's scolding and reprieve by FBI Director James Comey. • The Washington Times reported that Jeffrey Addicott, Saucier’s pro-bono attorney at the Center for Terrorism Law at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, filed a clemency request with the Department of Justice’s office of the pardon attorney, but he got back an unsigned rejection letter. It wasn’t even sent to Addicott, who had filed the parson request, but to one of the sailor’s previous attorneys. Addicott told the Washington Time : “In my opinion, the ‘Deep State’ torpedoed my petitions, and it never got out of the pardon attorney office at all. When I finally got a copy of the letter, I concluded it was authentic. This is extremely unprofessional and indicates not only a shocking level of incompetence at the office of the pardon attorney but signals clearly that our hard work received only a pro forma look and never got out of that office to the [Department of Justice] or to President Trump. On many occasions, President Trump correctly pointed out the injustice to Kris, and yet he was clearly undercut by a ‘Deep State’ bureaucracy. Nevertheless, the President certainly has the power to energize the office of the pardon attorney and grant the pardon and the pending clemency petition.” • A Justice Department spokesperson declined to comment to the Washington Times, which also made an inquiry to the White House that has gone unanswered. A lawyer knowledgeable about the pardon system told the neswpaper that without intervention “from on high,” Saucier stood little chance because he is still serving his sentence and needs a waiver. The unsigned May 30 rejection letter said : “Upon careful review of the information you submitted, we have concluded that it would not be appropriate to grant a waiver of the waiting period in Mr. Saucier’s case to permit him to apply for a pardon at this time. Waivers are infrequently granted and then only for particularly compelling reasons.” Addicott said the disproportionate felony conviction and prison sentence made Saucier a candidate for a waiver : “I cited the extraordinary circumstances of how Kris was wrongfully singled out for the heavy punishment by the federal district attorney when other sailors on the same submarine had received a $300 fine and a one grade reduction in rank.” As an example of the excess prosecution of Saucier, Addicott said, the Justice Department issued a national press release from public affairs headquarters in Washington for a case that should have been handled by the Navy through nonjudicial punishment. Addicott also sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions asking for an expedited pardon process. An executive assistant wrote back that “unfortunately we are unable to offer expedited processing of any individual petition.” Addicott’s request to have the President commute the prison sentence is still pending, but since Saucier is eligible for release in September, he may be out of prison before the commutation review is completed. • A federal judge sentenced Saucier to six months of home confinement following release. Saucier, a machinist mate 1st class, pleaded guilty in US District Court to a charge of unauthorized retention of defense information -- six photographs taken of the nuclear propulsion system aboard the USS Alexandria in 2009. A month after Comey decided Hillary’s fate, Saucier was sentenced to a year in prison. A Navy board handed him an other-than-honorable discharge. Saucier signed a petition saying the Justice Department cracked down on him to show it is tough on those who mishandle secrets amid the Hillary Clinton wrist-slap. Saucier has written : “The reason for the unjust and disproportionate level of investigation and punishment has nothing to do with the appropriate requirements of justice, but is actually directly tied to a national storm of political hypersensitivity precipitated by the misuse of classified information by former Secretary of State Hillary R. Clinton which reached a zenith during the heat of the 2015-2016 presidential election -- right at the time that I was being investigated for my misconduct by the FBI and Department of Justice." • Kathleen Saucier, the sailor’s mother, told the Washington Times in January : “I would like to say to Mr. Trump that I believe that he’s our hope to re-evaluate the way things are done in our government and that we, as American patriots, should never have to be in the position that myself and my family and I am sure many others have been.” • While none of us support the careless handling of classified materials, including amateur photographs that could reveal important secret information, it would be a sign of 'justice served' if President Trump would change Kristian Saucier's discharge from "other than honorable" to "general discharge under honorable conditions." This discharge would mean that Saucier's performance was satisfactory but he failed to meet all expectations of conduct for military members. It would make it easier for Saucier to find a job and would ensure that Saucier could use all VA services. • • • WHAT IS NOT BEING REPORTED BY THE MAINSTREAM. While Kristian Saucier is being punished for acting like Hillary Clinton, but to a far lesser degree, a Maine legislator has threatened President Trump's life, without any action being taken against him. It took WND to get the story out that a Democrat state legislator in Maine appears to have threatened President Trump in a Facebook post : “Trump is a half term President, at most, especially if I ever get within 10 feet of that p—y." Representative Scott Hamann made a now-deleted Facebook post last Tuesday that blasted a Trump supporter and called the President “anti-American” and an “admitted rapist” who was “installed by the Russians.” In his vicious attack, Hamann wrote the following explicit content : "I just can’t deal with you ignorant people anymore. Trump was installed by the Russians, because they wanted to undermine American democracy and embarrass our country. Mission accomplished. Trump is a joke, and anyone who doesn’t have their head up their ass understands that. The way he talks about and to women, that alone disqualifies him from leading anything. He’s an admitted rapist. He inserts his fingers into women against their consent. Would you be okay with leaving him alone in a room with your wife? He’s anti-American, criticizing war hero John McCain. Has no understanding of foreign policy or military strategy. He’s an out of the closet racist. He’s a liar -- literally everything he says is to reframe reality to fit his narrative. Conversely, President Obama ran quite possibly the classiest 2 term presidency in US history, no scandals, successful commander in chief, zero rape victims, and he improved the economy month after month in terms of unemployment, GDP, and stock market. And he did all of that despite opposition from the racist Republicans who would not let a black President succeed...Unpatriotic pr–ks. Republicans allowed nothing through, so Obama’s only opportunity to improve the country was the beginning of his first term. yet he still managed to bring down the uninsured rate, prevent people from dying or going bankrupt just because they got sick, ended wars, restored American dignity after our finger painting president, killed foreign adversaries (instead of giving them a reach around the G20)...and he did it all with the class that the Trump crime family knows nothing about. Don’t like the truth? Can’t handle the facts unless they come from Breitbart or Anonymous or your drunk uncle? Well then f–k you, snowflake. You’re a f—ing p—y. And you people are destroying America. Some of us are educated and actually follow current events. 100% of intelligent Americans agree that Trump is a complete loser. But go back to clinging to your guns because you’re afraid. P—y. See, it’s not only Trump supporters who can talk like complete assh–es. As long as that’s what’s coming out of that side, then I’ll match you dumb f—s word for word. Trump is a half term president, at most, especially if I ever get within 10 feet of that p—y." • • • DEAR READERS, that is the voice of Progressive Democrats. They believe they're better than we Deplorables and our President. Scott Hamann is a foul-mouthed individual unfit to serve in Maine's legislature or anywhere else in American politics. One Facebook user responded to his post : “Scott Hamann you plan to kill the President?” • As always, after they break out of their padded cells and straight jackets and expose their real selves, Hamann apologized on Wednesday, saying he regrets his Facebook rant, calling it “aggressively sarcastic and inappropriate.” He claims he was attempting to make a point about political discourse : “I regret my impulsive decision to post something aggressively sarcastic and inappropriate in a Facebook exchange with a childhood friend,” Hamann said, according to Washington’s KNDU-TV 25. “While the tone of the post was born out of frustration with the vile language currently surrounding politics, I should not have responded with the same language. This is not language I typically use, it does not reflect my personal values and while misguided, it was intended to make a visceral point about the devolving political discourse in America.” • Right, Scott -- just like Kathy Griffin's photo with a beheaded Trump and the Shakespeare in the Park assassination of a Trump look-alike don't reflect who you or the Progressive Democrat Party really are. • Maine GOP Chairwoman Demi Kouzounas said Haman made an implied death threat against President Trump. She called on Maine’s House speaker to “do something” about the “unhinged and dangerous” post. The Daily Caller quoted Kouzounas' statement : “Words cannot even begin to describe the level of revulsion I feel after reading Representative Scott Hamann’s recent tirade that has come to light. Perhaps the most alarming aspect of this tirade is an implied death threat against our President when Representative Hamann states, ‘As long as that’s what’s coming out of that side, then I’ll match you dumb f–ks word for word. Trump is a half term President, at most, especially if I ever get within 10 feet of that p—y.' ” • The Secret Service has been made aware of the post, according to Fox News. Officials wouldn’t provide comment on the case, “citing an investigation into the matter.” • Shame on Maine if it lets Scott Hamann get away with this, unscathed. And, shame on an American political and justice system that ignores a death threat to the US President while ruining the life of a young man who made the mistake of being in the right place to be the scapegoat for Hillary Clinton, who is the one who deserves to be in prison for a long time. • Are you listening, Attorney General Sessions? Where is the Hillary indictment ???

  1. My suggestions to the Republican Party, the Donald Trump Re-election campaign, and anyone else within ear shit of seeking advice on how not to suffer what the MSM is already calling the worse blood bath in a Mid-Term election ... " Stay on course with what brought control of the House, the Senate, and the White House, many state Capitals & state legislatures"

Or as an old saying goes - "Dance with who brought you to the Big Dance"

  2. We need to wake up to the fact that the past, present, or future dealings of any or all the Clinton's and their fellow Progressive Elites will never really be investigated by any Justice Department or any other empowered body.

The use of power is something that the ProgDems understand fully and have no fear in using it daily. Self-survival is is their daily prayer, and when it comes down to ME or THEE - Thee gets it every time.

The so called trump cards that these people have to play (and willing to do so) will seemingly out live us all.

The "Deep State" (to which they all and some of our own also) belong is shameless & without morals. Truth is not in their vocabulary. In the end they are their own Judge and Jury.

  3. The acknowledgement that there is a Deep State may well be a step in the right direction against it.

Until Donald Trump came along and presented a real and present threat to the Deep State the DS was a dark and shadowy, a near mystical organization without any public exposure. But the election of Donald Trump has forced the exposure of this threatening evil. And friends its more far reaching than ever thought of.

When a Constitutional lawyer the likes of AG Jeff Sessions fails for nearly 8 months to start the wheels of justice rolling against them - one has to wonder just who inside the beltway of Washington DC isn't part and/or partial to the Deep State.
