CNN and the Mainstream Media Are No Match for President Trump

The REAL NEWS TODAY WON'T BE FOUND IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA. The news would cut against their goal of painting Trump as hated by every American. • • • A POLL ABOUT THE MOSLEM TRAVEL BAN. The Washington Examiner called it "a major victory in the court of public opinion for President Trump." His latest travel ban on visitors from six predominantly Moslem nations is supported by 60% of Americans, while only 28% oppose it. That's the result of the latest Morning Consult/Politico poll. The pollsters also reported that 60% of voters support the State Department's new guidelines that require entrants to prove a close family relationship with a US resident in order to enter the country -- only 28% oppose them. Morning Consult/Politico's Chief Research Officer Kyle Dropp said : "Since we last asked about Trump's travel ban, we've seen a drop in those who oppose the executive order. Though, we've also seen an uptick in those who do not have any opinion on the matter or have yet to settle on one." The poll shows that Republicans overwhelmingly back the restrictions, with 84% of GOP voters in support of the ban, and only 9% in opposition. The executive order is also popular among independent voters, who support it by a 56% to 30% margin. Democratic voters aren't as supportive of the ban, with 41% supporting and 46% opposing. • • • CNN DIGS AN EVEN DEEPER GRAVE WITH BECKY ANDERSON's STAGED SEQUENCE. We already know that CNN uses fake news. • And, one of its manipulations has been caught on tape. A June CNN sequence with CNN reporter Becky Anderson was staged. Becky watched and directed standing positions for Moslem protesters in a sequence she was shooting about the London Bridge terrorist attack. But, someone filmed the entire "set-up" and now CNN is trying to dig itself out of another gross attempt to manipulate public opinion by using fake news. Demonstrators against extremism visited a police cordon near London Bridge and were positioned behind TV crews but CNN pulled them front and center to use the demonstrators to 'create a narrative.' CNN has denied online claims that it 'set up' a counter-extremism demonstration behind Becky Anderson. A group from the London Fatwa Council came to the police cordon near the London Bridge terror attacks with banners proclaiming 'ISIS will lose.' And, a video shows the group apparently being positioned by TV reporters after being ushered past the media and positioned so that cameras could see them. A film shot by a bystander shows the group of protesters being brought past TV crews in London. CNN has denied claims it positioned anti-extremism demonstrators behind its cameras to 'create a narrative', insisting the group arrived to be seen by TV cameras. Reporter Becky Anderson mentioned the protesters' signs in her news report on the terror attack, saying : "Behind me you can see a sign here, hashtag 'turn to love,' hashtag 'for London', hashtag 'ISIS will lose', and flowers left in remembrance of those who left their lives." She called the demonstrators a "poignant scene" and urged the camera to pause on them to show viewers "how people feel here on the streets of London." The video that captured the set-up has been seem on Twitter more than 14,000 times. Former US diplomat Richard Grenell also retweeted the video, with the caption : "This is very disturbing." • Yes, it is, because CNN, with or with out the collusion of the demonstrators, was trying to "create the narrative" that Moslems are active in their opposition to Moslem extremist terrorist acts -- when anyone who follows news at all knows that there are no Moslem voices or demonstrators speaking out against the islamists who are co-opting their religion. • The video of the set-up raises another question. While CNN field reporterrs like to take credit for going into harm's way to bring us the gutsy core of war and protest stories, it was clear in the video that Becky Anderson was in a bubble created for her report. There was no sign of street action or possible dangers lurking as she spoke into her microphone. My question is this -- how many other CNN sequences supposedly done in the midst of danger are really set-up in calm bubbles so that the reporters can appear to be in danger when they are really not??? • • • THE FAKE TRUMP TAKE-DOWN OF A WRESTLING WORLD ANNOUNCER. Townhall's Matt Vespa began his report about the WWE video by saying : "CNN is just having a rough month. They had a shoddy story about a Trump-Russia connection that had to be retracted and led to three members of their reporting staff being forced to resign. Then, James O’Keefe’s investigation into the network over their Russia investigation confirmed what many conservatives already knew : the control room knows the story is 'mostly bulls**t,' but it’s great for ratings. CNN commentator Van Jones even said the Russia story was 'a big nothing burger.' ” • President Trump tweeted : "#FraudNewsCNN #FNN" and retweeted the fake WWE video. His tweet got 348,690 Retweets and 583,737 likes. • Last weekend, someone photo-shopped the CNN logo on WWE founder Vince McMahon’s face. Trump had guest starred on the wrestling show awhile ago and beat up McMahon in a wonderful piece of theatre. But, as we should expect by now, CNN and the rest of the news media decided to go berserk, decrying it as violence against the press. • Then, CNN decided to track down the creator of the video, who was a Reddit user, and they apparently threatened to dox him as well. The user -- "HanA**HoleSolo” -- has since deleted his posts and apologized for his behavior." He added that he does not advocate violence against the press and expressed remorse there and in an interview with CNN for other posts he made that were racist and anti-Semitic. • The apology came after CNN's KFile identified the man behind "HanA**holeSolo." Using identifying information that "HanA**holeSolo" posted on Reddit, KFile was able to locate key biographical details and find the man's name using a Facebook search and ultimately corroborate details he had made available on Reddit. On Monday, KFile attempted to contact the man by email and phone but he did not respond. On Tuesday, "HanA**holeSolo" posted his apology on the subreddit /The_Donald and deleted all of his other posts. • BUT, the shocking aspect of all this -- besides tha fact that CNN clearly has no sense of either humor or shame -- is that after posting his apology, "HanA**holeSolo" called CNN's KFile and confirmed his identity. In the interview, "HanA**holeSolo" sounded nervous about his identity being revealed and asked to not be named out of fear for his personal safety and for the public embarrassment it would bring to him and his family. CNN's public response should frighten all social media users : "CNN is not publishing "HanA**holeSolo's" name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again. In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same. CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change." • Social media went orbital, posting such tweets as "Apologize or we'll hurt you."#CNNBlackmail" and "This July 4, we're reminded the Founders created the 1st amendment so journalists can coerce apologies from people that make them look bad." • CNN's manhunt for their "persecutor" sounded very much like a threat. Townhall's Vespa said : "It comes off as another episode of the media behaving badly. Tripping up and showing that they now resort to going after private citizens over their anti-Trump bias. Honestly, I couldn’t care less who created the video, but, alas, here we are. Needless to say, Twitter was active, with even members of the left-leaning Vox Media making their concerns known over this unethical behavior by CNN. Brianna Wu, a game developer and Massachusetts congressional candidate who said the Manchester bombing was due to sexism and not terrorism, was also unnerved by CNN’s veiled doxing threat." • And, Townhall's Christine Rousselle tweeted : "Trump's 'CNN Smackdown' Tweet Is Now His Most Retweeted Ever....President Donald Trump's now-infamous "CNN Smackdown" tweet from Sunday is now his most-ever retweeted post. As of writing, the tweet has been retweeted 340,879 times....Until this tweet, Trump's most-shared tweet was from the morning of Election Day. In the early hours of the morning, Trump tweeted "TODAY WE MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" That tweet received just over 339,000 retweets." • President Trump received heavy criticism from both sides of the aisle for the "CNN Smackdown" tweet, with many people calling it unprofessional and un-presidential behavior. But, he got the last laugh over CNN, as he always does. When will CNN learn that taking on a sitting US President, especially when it is Donald Trump, is a can't-win effort??? • • • TED CRUZ AND OTHERS CAME TO TRUMP'S DEFENSE. CNN's tracking down the Internet user who purportedly created the doctored video retweeted by President Trump, in which he body-slams an opponent identified as “CNN” and now threatening to release his private information unless he cooperates with their demands was too much for many to take quietly. CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski wrote the article announcing that CNN had discovered the personal information belong to “HanA**holeSolo” using snippets of evidence from gathered from his posting history on Reddit. According to a tweet by Kaczynski : "This apology came after CNN identified and reached out to HanAssholeSolo. Story and interview w/him posting soon https://t.co/aWQjlGrTU1 — andrew kaczynski (@KFILE) July 5, 2017." • In a now deleted tweet, CNN’s Chris Cuomo jumped onto the coercion bandwagon : “Should CNN reveal name of Reddit user who made Trump wrestling video? Had a lot of bigoted and hateful material on page and website.” • The apparent coercion led to outrage across social media from liberals and conservatives alike, culminating in the creation of the hashtag #CNNBlackmail, which began trending on Twitter nearly instantly. WMD collected many of the comments. • Donald Trump Jr. weighed in on the controversy, tweeting : “If only CNN spent as much time tracking down info on IRS targeting, Fast & Furious, Iran deal, etc as they did a meme writer!” • Wikileaks’ Julian Assange added to the controversy, suggesting CNN may have actually broken the law, tweeting : “CNN just committed a crime violating § 135.60 of the New York criminal code ‘coercion.' ” • Senator Ted Cruz agreed that CNN’s stunt may be against the law : "it’s a GA crime if they threatened to “Disseminate any information tending to subject any person to hatred, contempt, or ridicule….” https://t.co/ChxqocuDgc — Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) July 5, 2017." Cruz was referring to Georgia law, because CNN's headquarters is in Atlanta, Gerogia. • State Representative Scott Taylor, a Republican lawmaker in Virginia and a Navy SEAL, commented as well, writing “a line is crossed here” : "@CNN U basically coerce apology & threaten release of identity if something changes? Pretty sure a line is crossed here. #CNNBlackmail https://t.co/k4W9AepP6W — Scott Taylor (@Scotttaylorva) July 5, 2017." • From the left, journalist Glenn Greenwald penned a scathing piece on the incident in The Intercept : “There is something self-evidently creepy, bullying, and heavy-handed about a large news organization publicly announcing that it will xpose someone’s identity if he ever again publishes content on the Internet that the network deems inappropriate or objectionable.” • Scott Greer, author of “No Campus for White Men : The Transformation of Higher Education into Hateful Indoctrination” and an editor at the Daily Caller, blasted CNN’s response : “This story touched a nerve with many people because it exposed a disturbing side to the establishment media -- America’s biggest press gatekeepers are more concerned with policing the public than informing it....With North Korea launching an intercontinental ballistic missile, a health care bill vote looming, more chaos in the Middle East and a host of other pressing issues affecting the nation, CNN decided the most important story is the President tweeting a humorous video of him body-slamming the network.” • Chris Buskirk, author of “American Greatness: How Conservatism Inc. Missed The 2016 Election & What The DC Establishment Needs To Learn,” told WND in an interview that left-wing media “exists to police a narrative that denigrates America, it’s history, and it’s people. President Trump’s unapologetic embrace of America, his plan to advocate for her citizens and govern in their name and their name alone is not just an embarrassment to Washington’s permanent aristocracy, it is a threat to their worldview. And so the media establishment has been at war with Donald Trump for two years and has shown time and time again that there is no depth to which they will not sink in their attempts to destroy the duly elected President of the United States.” Buskirk then detailed how establishment media operates and has been exposed : “Then due to the work of James O’Keefe and Project Veritas we found out that according to CNN producer John Bonifield the marching orders to talk about nothing Russia comes from the top, from CNN president Jeff Zucker. Why? Because from his perspective it’s a win-win : make a boatload of money peddling false allegations which also serving an extreme left wing ideological agenda. Even one of CNN’s top personalities, Van Jones, a longtime left-wing political operative, described the whole Russia story on another Project Veritas tape as 'a nothing burger.' On that at least, Van Jones and I can agree. But though the people at CNN know it is a nothing burger they continue to push the narrative because they think they can use it to pull the wool over the American people’s eyes, destroy a Republican President, overturn the election, and make a little money at the same time." Buskirk said that when Trump fights back against the media, CNN cannot help but retaliate with an “Alinskyite gutter war” : “They threatened to dox the person -- perhaps a minor -- who created the original video and posted it online. That is to say, they threatened to release his name and personal details publicly. Why? Because if they do that, they know the intolerant left will do the rest. CNN knows that the meme-creator’s life will become a living hell. His phone will ring 24 hours a day, his voicemail will be filled with the most vile threats against himself and his family, and thugs will show up at his home and place of employment. He will be hounded out of society by anti-Trump forces and sent into hiding. In essence, CNN has issued a threat : 'Satirize your betters and we’ll come after you. Criticize us and we will make make sure your life is unbearable. We’ll make you unemployable." • • • DEAR READERS, CNN’s threats to expose and destroy the person who made that video are chilling indeed. But, Americans are on to the Progressive Democrat MSM game and do not like it. Monday's PBS NewsHour spotlighted the low trust in the news media, according to the results of their latest poll. Only 30% of those surveyed by NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist trust the press "a good deal" or "a great amount." The Trump administration scored seven points better, at 37%, in the same poll. Congress came in at 29%. Guest Stuart Rothenberg bemoaned the "horrible trend" towards distrust of the media over the past several decades and NPR's Tamara Keith underlined that "these numbers are part of a very long trend of institutions losing trust from the American people; and that...puts America at risk." • It was host Judy Woodruff focused on the media's poll numbers near the end of the segment with Rothenberg and Keith. She noted that "one of the things we looked at was...[the] high distrust of the news media." After outlining the numbers, she turned to Rothenberg and asserted that "the bottom line here, Stu, is that the media may be a good whipping boy." Her guest Rothenberg replied : "I think the public sees the media as a political institution -- just as they see the White House, the President, and Congress." Rothenberg pointed out "Gallup numbers in the early 1970s...[where] those of us in the media are regarded much worse than we were back then." • Tamara Keith responded to the poll results by citing moderate GOP Senator Ben Sasse, who recently lamented that "we are at risk of getting to a place where we don't have a shared set of public facts. A republic will not work if we don't have shared facts." • It seems that PBS and NPR son't understand Americans any better than CNN and the ProgDems do. The long trend of growing distrust in the press is not evidence of a breaking up of the Republic. It is not evidence of the media being a whipping boy for either the Congress or the President. Rothenberg got it right when he said the media is "seen as a political instiitution." That is the poll's bad news for the mainstream media. The media used to be thought of as impartial and above the fray of political partisanship -- but that died with the media's onesided and heavyhanded coverage of the 1960 presidential election between Kennedy and Nixon, and then its even more partisan coverage of the Watergate affair. • And, now we have CNN committing suicide in front of the entire world simply because it has decided to destroy President Trump, re-install Progressive leftists in power in Washington, and crown Barack Obama President-for-Life. It is a shameful fall from grace that is perhaps irreparable, both for CNN and for the rest of the MSM. • And, if these purveyors of hate and anti-American politics would just look at the facts in front of them, surely they could see how wrong they are. President Trump has 60% support for his Moslem travel ban. He is, at 37%, well above the media in America's eyes. The problem is not Donald Trump. The problem is the mainstream media, and its Progressive Democrat bosses; like CNN's Jeff Zucker, and its refusal to abandon a political position that America rejects at every turn. If we were cynical, we would be applauding the CNN suicide -- because it represents the victory of President Trump, his Deplorable supporters and the constitutional Republic they all champion. America is not "at risk." The media is. God Bless America and God Bless President Trump.

  1. Every institution in America is at risk right now.

The likes of the Obama, Clinton, Soros andCNN's evil and dishonesty are at risk of being driven back under the rocks they came from.

The decency of the citizens of Main Street, Small Town, USA are at risk of creeping compromise. Of blinking in the face of evil.

And all those others without a hint of righteousness in their souls - only their own hedonism as their guiding light are at risk of losing even that character flaw.

The Founders (one and all), President Lincoln, President Reagan, and now President Trump - what a crew of diverted souls that have over the years been called upon to defend the choice of freedom or the servitude of serfdom.

  2. I watch the news 9sometimes) or i read the on-line stories and I find myself accepting nothing a being factual - nothing at all.

Seems that all news starts as fictitious story aimed at the destruction of an individual or an accepted belief - not as a simple collections or related facts.

News has no life of its own, no bringing together or driving apart, it is simply "the news" all fact and no opinion.

Or it use to be that. Today it is all opinion..."why the red Socks lost today', or "why a courts decision is not legal" all from not people that know what they are talking about, buy rather people justifying their own opinions.

The News Rooms of the worlds newspapers and Televisions networks only express their one sided views anymore.

News doesn't exists any longer - been replaced with lies and unsupported opinions.

  3. Is MSM, CNN, MSNBC, FOX NEWS, etc all out to what end the Trump presidency? Would they rather have the died-in-the-wool life long conservative VP Pence as president? Makes no sense!

So what is the "press" after if not the end of Donald Trump, and they certainly don't want Mike Pence as President. Do they think somehow November 8, 2916 election can all be set aside as if the people didn't speak their wishes?

What they want at any cost is more and more power. Does Hillary Clinton want to be President? In a way. But what she really wants is the power and the access to the money of the Deep State.

And why can't the MSM quiet seem to get at Trump and Pence? It's the "TEAM" that Donald Trump has surrounded himself with. Top to bottom, and side to side the Trump administrative Team may be the finest one ever put together by an elected president.

They are doers, they are movers & shakers, they get up in the morning and tackle the problems of the world with no thought about the media and their rhetoric.

And it is this that is driving the media nuts. They don't understand, or they don't know how to compensate for this lack of media concern by a Presidential Cabinet.
