Progressive-Democrats Couldn't Name It, but All the Rest of Us Knew -- It Was Islamic Terrorists Who Bombed New York City and New Jersey

After their assurances on Saturday evening that there was no evidence that the New York City and New Jersey bombing and attempted bombing were related to international terrorism, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio and NY Governor Andrew Cuomo have now backtracked. Of course, anyone could have told the two that terrorism -- and probably islamic jihadist terrorism -- were the culprits. But, Progressive Democrats are slo-o-ow to learn. So, it took the combined efforts of the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force, along with New York Police Department detectives, fire marshals, federal marshals and intelligence investigators to drive the truth into their thick Progressive skulls. But, the proof is now in front of them -- it was an act of terrorism, despite de Blasio's denial of a remark on Sunday evening : "We're going to be very careful and patient to get to the full truth here. We have more work to do to be able to say what kind of motivation was behind this. Was it a political motivation? A personal motivation? What was it? We do not know that yet." Governor Cuomo's later response?? : "Today I believe we're going to find out that [the bombing] was influenced by foreign sources," he told Fox & Friends." By George, I think he's got it!, said Professor Higgins. ~~~~~~ As is usually the case, law enforcement did get it right. As of Sunday afternoon, when officials had not said publicly there was a common link between the two bombing incidents, New York City Police Commissioner James P. O’Neill, on his first day on the job, said : "I am concerned. We have a bomb that detonated and no one apprehended." Two US officials told Reuters on Monday that the bomb plot likely involved several individuals. Their comment came hours after federal authorities on Sunday night conducted a traffic stop in Brooklyn of a “vehicle of interest” in the bombings. A law enforcement source told Fox News that a “number of individuals” who are possibly connected to the explosions were taken into custody. And, the AP reported that at least five men were being questioned. The New York Daily News reported that a "weapons stash was found in the vehicle and investigators were trying to determine if the occupants were attempting to drive out of town or take a plane." The FBI said in a statement that no one had been charged with any crime and the investigation was ongoing. But, the NYPD and state and federal authorities worked round the clock and early Monday launched a dragnet in search of an "armed and dangerous" Afghan-born man wanted in connection with both the NYC and New Jersey bombings, as raids and detentions in the metropolitan area pointed toward a terror cell being behind the series of weekend attacks. Ahmad Khan Rahami, a 28-year-old naturalized US citizen born in Afghanistan, was captured on Monday morning near a train station in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Rahami's last known address was in Elizabeth, and the FBI launched a raid at the apartment, located above a fried chicken restaurant. Elizabeth is the city where investigators had discovered five suspicious devices -- one of that exploded while a bomb squad robot tried to disarm it -- near a train station on Sunday night. Ahmad Khan Rahami was taken into custody after a shootout with police. An eyewitness to Rahami's capture in Linden, NJ, told Fox News that he saw a man walking down a street with a gun in his hand. A police car pulled up next to him and the man fired at police 4-6 times. The shooter then began running down the street with several police cars trailing him, the witness said. Elizabeth Mayor Christian Bollwage said county authorities told him the two police officers who were shot in Linden during the capture are expected to be okay. He said one officer was struck in a protective vest and the other in the hand. ~~~~~~ The White House said Obama was briefed throughout the night and early Monday on the investigation and would comment publicly "relatively soon." Well -- he finally spoke on Monday, two days after the attack, telling America not to be afraid because that we are winning the war on terrorism. ~~~~~~ President Obama could have borrowed Hillary Clinton's Progressive reassurances, expressed at yet another three-minute statement before she boarded her plane, followed by three questions from the press -- presumably meant to replace the obviously too-tiring real press conference format. Hillary told reporters Monday morning : "It is crucial that we continue to build up trust between law enforcement and Moslem-American communities,” Clinton said her counter-terrorism policy emphasizes that the fight on global terrorism is a global fight requiring the US to “work closely with our allies and partners to keep us safe. We have faced threats before -- if you see something, or you hear something, report it immediately to local law-enforcement authorities. We choose resolve, not fear. We will not turn on each other or undermine our values." When Clinton was asked by a reporter about whether the person of interest in the bombings in New York and New Jersey, an Afghan immigrant and American citizen, would lend credence to Donald Trump’s proposed ban on Moslem immigration to the United States, she dismissed Trump : “It is true that a suspect of interest has been identified, but let us remember, there are millions and millions of naturalized citizens in America from all over the world. This is the kind of challenge that law enforcement can be and is prepared to address...[while] “I am absolutely in favor of and have long been an advocate for tough vetting, let’s not get diverted and distracted by the kind of campaign rhetoric we hear coming from the other side. This is a serious challenge, we are equipped to meet it...in concert with our values.” ~~~~~~ Oops!!! Just when Governor Cuomo was "getting it," Democrat leader Clinton fell into Obama's and her own favorite false logic -- according to Hillary and Barack, 'because it isn't all migrants who come to America as terrorists to attack Americans, we must not call any immigrants terrorists, especially those doing the attacking, because it might offend them. And since vetting would make some migrants look bad, let's not worry about vetting and rely on our values and security forces to protect us while Barack and I open the floodgates for another 100,000 unvetted immigrants.' ~~~~~~ The problem is that while American security and intelligence forces are tops at their jobs, America does not have a coordinated political strategy about how to respond to this new reality of both immigrant and homegrown islamic jihadist terrorists who want to destroy us. The problem can be traced back to the White House, where "strategy" in any context seems to be a dirty word. But, Americans are moving on. If Obama and Hillary and their Progressive-Democrat leadership cannot protect America, citizens are turning to other leaders to protect them and the world from their enemies. In an interview with CBS News "Face The Nation," Representative Peter King of NY, who is a member of the House Intelligence and Homeland Security Committees, said : "I don't think [we] can accept this as part of the new normal. Go to the larger issue. That's why the [National Security Agency] is important. That's why surveillance of communities where these threats are coming from is important, why we can't allow over-concern about civil liberties to get in the way of law enforcement. I've used the example many times: if you're going after the Mafia, you go to the Italian community, Irish communities. Right now [there is] Islamic terrorism, go to the Moslem communities." ~~~~~~ American Thinker's William Levinson on Monday published a list of what radical islamist migrants have given America lately : "(1). Militant "islamic" immigrant Yaser Abdel Said is on the FBI's Most Wanted List for allegedly murdering his daughters for failing to adhere to traditional "islamic" values including an arranged marriage. This shows that, if you import a dangerous and violent religious fanatic from a backward country, he remains a dangerous and violent religious fanatic despite his new civilized surroundings. (2) .Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev set off bombs during the Boston Marathon to murder three innocent people and injure hundreds more. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev 'told the FBI that [he and his brother] were angry about the US wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and the killing of Moslems there.' (3). Saturday, a terrorist imitated the Tsarnaevs by detonating a pressure cooker bomb in Manhattan to injure 29 people. Democratic mayor Bill de Blasio said the explosion was intentional but denied that it was terrorism. One wonders whether he also described what happened on September 11, 2001 as intentional but not an act of terrorism, or the events of December 7, 1941 as intentional but not acts of war. (4). Another terrorist meanwhile imitated the Tsarnaevs by detonating a pipe bomb before a Marine Corps charity race in New Jersey, but this time nobody was injured. This must be the militant islamists' September bombathon. (5). Omar Mateen pledged allegiance to ISIS/Daesh before he slaughtered more than 50 people in the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando FL. This action was entirely in keeping with the militant 'islamic' belief that gay people should be hanged, stoned to death, thrown off buildings, burned alive, or subjected to other pre-medieval Dark Age penalties. The Obama/Clinton Democrats, of course, jumped on the event the way ghouls jump on a fresh corpse to agitate for more gun laws before the bodies had even reached room temperature. (6). Tashfeen Malik entered the United States legally, and then helped Syed Farook massacre 14 innocent people in San Bernardino. The Obama/Clinton Democrats doubtlessly depicted opponents of unrestricted Moslem immigration as islamophobes while they welcomed the shooting as an excuse to attack the Second Amendment. (7). James Cosby got life in prison without parole for murdering his lesbian daughter and her lover. He had a copy of the Koran, which was 'open to a page which talks about homosexuality as a sin.' (8). Iraqi immigrant Faleh Almaleki was sentenced to 34 years in prison for honor-killing his daughter Noor in the name of the depraved ideology he calls Islam, thus insulting millions of decent American Moslems. This criminal was also convicted of aggravated assault on Noor Almaleki's friend Amal Khalaf, which underscores the fact that many victims of mindless islamist violence are decent Moslems." ~~~~~~ Dear readers, further proof that America has abandoned Obama-Hillary Progressive-Democrat ideology for protecting it from islamic jihadist terrorists comes in the form of recent polls. Trump leads Hillary Clinton by 19% among military and veteran voters, according to the September 7 NBC News/Survey Monkey poll conducted August 29 - September 4, finds : Trump : 55%; Clinton : 36%. And, 53% of military and veteran voters see Trump as an effective commander-in-chief of the nation's military; compared to 35% of military and veteran voters believe Clinton would be an effective commander-in-chief. ~~ A strong military; respect and support for police forces; care for American veterans; halting illegal immigration; tight control of Middle East immigration until effective vetting techniques are available. These are Donald Trump's positions -- his promises to America. To "Make American Great Again" begins with protecting American citizens, cities and infrastructure from islamic jihadist terrorists. The rest -- jobs, education, healthcare, a constitutional government and judiciary -- will follow.
