Omar and Sanders -- Birds of a Socialist Feather Flocking Together to Ruin the Democrat Party

THE NEW CROP OF DEMOCRAT HOUSE MEMBERS IS A SAD LOT. Especially Ilhan Omar. • • • OMAR IS CONSTANTLY ANTI-SEMITIC. TheHill reported earlier this month that the major Jewish advocacy organization, The Jewish Committee, called on Representative Ilhan Omar, the Minnesota Democrat, to apologize for suggesting that a pro-Israel lobbying group was buying off lawmakers, calling her tweet "stunningly anti-Semitic." The tweet read : ".@IlhanMN, Suggesting that a Jewish organization is buying off American politicians is both demonstrably false and stunningly anti-Semitic. American politicians are pro-Israel because Americans are (https://t.co/QMr1oCcnHX). Apologize." pic.twitter.com/VdJh0W8sx1. • Earlier, Omar retweeted journalist Glenn Greenwald responding to a story about GOP Representative Kevin McCarthy promising "action" toward the Minnesota lawmaker and Representative Rashida Tlaib, a Michigan Democrat, over their alleged anti-Semitism. Omar captioned that retweet with a message: "It's all about the Benjamins baby," referring to money. The tweets drew immediate criticism from Twitter followers across the political spectrum, who pointed to the long anti-Semitic tradition of portraying Jews as controlling politicians and other powerful figures through money. • Doug Collins, a Georgia GOP Representative, tweeted : "Wow. A sitting US Congresswoman actually just suggested AIPAC is paying Members of Congress to support Israel, one of our strongest and longest standing allies. This level of anti-Semitism coming from the left is truly stunning and must be denounced." • Omar, as a well as Tlaib, have been criticized by Republicans for their support of the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement, which condemns Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. • Fox News reported afterward that : "Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and other Democratic House leaders issued a joint statement condemning comments made over Twitter by Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. In an unprecedented rebuke under the new Congress, House Democratic leaders on Monday roundly condemned Representative Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., for statements about supporters of Israel that were widely viewed as anti-Semitic and called on her to apologize. The statement issued by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democratic leadership team followed the latest in a string of controversial comments from the freshman lawmaker -- as well as pressure from Republican leaders to speak out." The statement read : "Anti-Semitism must be called out, confronted and condemned whenever it is encountered, without exception. We are and will always be strong supporters of Israel in Congress because we understand that our support is based on shared values and strategic interests. Legitimate criticism of Israel’s policies is protected by the values of free speech and democratic debate that the United States and Israel share. But Congresswoman Omar’s use of anti-Semitic tropes and prejudicial accusations about Israel’s supporters is deeply offensive. We condemn these remarks and we call upon Congresswoman Omar to immediately apologize for these hurtful comments." Fox News said the statement came after several other senior Democrats had weighed in, including the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee on which Omar sits. “Anti-Semitism in any form is unacceptable, and it’s shocking to hear a Member of Congress invoke the anti-Semitic trope of ‘Jewish money,’ ” Representative Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., said earlier Monday. This followed Representative Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., a prominent Jewish lawmaker and chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, saying : “It is deeply disappointing and disturbing to hear Representative Ilhan Omar’s choice of words in her exchange with a journalist yesterday, wherein she appears to traffic in old anti-Semitic tropes about Jews and money. Her words are deeply hurtful and offensive, particularly as they build on a previous comment she made about Jews ‘hypnotizing’ the world in support of Israel.” • Omar became the first Somali-American woman elected to Congress in November, and her tweets were swiftly condemned by fellow Democrats. Representative Josh Gottheimer, D-N.J., tweeted : “For nearly two weeks, Rep. [Omar] has avoided meeting with me to discuss why anti-Semitic tropes like these are hurtful to so many Americans. There is absolutely no place for this rhetoric in Congress -- or anywhere.” The Anti-Defamation League called on House leadership to take action in response to Omar's comments. ADL CEO Jonathan A. Greenblatt said in a statement : Unfortunately, making insensitive statements toward the Jewish community is not new for Rep. Omar. These tweets are part of a disturbing pattern of behavior that must end....Strong bipartisan support for Israel is not a result of money or lobbying. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and a strong American ally in a strategically important region.” From the Republican side of the aisle, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel called for Pelosi to remove Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. • • • OMAR'S CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT. BizPac Review reported last wee that : "One of two newly elected Moslem congresswomen, both of them known anti-Semites, reportedly grew up in what has been dubbed the terrorist recruitment capital of the United States. Fox News was quoted by BPR : “More men and boys from a Somali American community in Minneapolis have joined -- or attempted to join -- a foreign terrorist organization over the last 12 years than any other jurisdiction in the country.” Fox News cited data from the FBI. The data specifically shows that over the past 12 years, a total of 45 Moslems have departed from the Minnesota city to go join a radical Islamic troop, be it ISIS or al-Shabaab. And of this 45, roughly a dozen Somalis left as recently as 2018 and some even reportedly this year. Fox News noted : “Both numbers are far higher than those of alleged terrorist wannabes who left or attempted to leave the country from other areas in the country where Moslem refugees have been resettled." • BPR says : "It just so happens that the family of notoriously anti-Semitic congresswoman Ilhan Omar -- who in recent weeks has berated a Jewish-American diplomat and suggested Jews use money to manipulate US politicians -- relocated to Minneapolis from Somalia in 1995. • The 37-year-old lawmaker essentially grew up in the city known as the terrorist recruitment capital of the US. Three years ago she wrote a letter to a judge asking that he show “compassion” to three Somali defendants, who at the time were slated to be sentenced for trying to join ISIS. In her letter the Moslem congresswoman appeared to excuse the defendants’ actions, writing that they “chose violence to combat direct marginalization” and claiming that “[t]he desire to commit violence is not inherent to people -- it is the consequences of systematic alienation. [P]eople seek violent solutions when the process established for enacting change is inaccessible to them,” she continued, echoing the sentiment among far-leftists that the root of Islamic terrorism isn’t Islam but rather so-called “marginalization” and even a lack of good jobs. But, David Otto, the director and counterterrorism program coordinator at Global Risk International, told Fox : "Recruitment takes place online as well as face-to-face radicalization, sometimes with promises of what appears to be legitimate opportunities. For al-Shabab, they focus mainly on the negative impact of US counterterrorism policies -- like targeted assassinations and drone strikes that sometimes kill innocent civilians in Somalia – to attract recruits and sympathizers. They blame the failures of government on foreign intervention and link it to the reason why most Somalians have escaped home. The promise that al-Shabaab will restore a Sharia state and get rid of the government is somewhat attractive.” • OMAR IS LAR LEFT ON EVERY ISSUE. It’s about anti-Americanism, at which Omar seems to excel. She recently berated the Trump administration’s Special Envoy for Venezuela, Elliott Abrams, about his past work in the Reagan administration promoting democracy in Latin America. She’s also been very critical of Israel, America’s closest ally. Besides often posting anti-Semitic tweets, she has in the past accused Israel of hypnotizing the world. Her defense of a group of would-be terrorists is clear-cut proof of this, according to Rudolph Atallah, former Africa Counterterrorism Director in the Office of the Secretary of Defense : “Representative Omar is asking for our justice system to support known terrorists. This sets an extremely poor precedence and should not be allowed. She clearly has a bias and an agenda and does not understand what the United States truly stands for.” • BUT, Ilhan Omar does indeed have an agenda, and it’s an agenda that seems to share much of the agenda of those radical Islamic groups that seek to recruit terrorists from Minneapolis. These comparisons have led social media users to express concern about her newfound position as a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, with a petition circulating for her removal form the Foreign Affairs committee. • The Daily Caller reported last week that : "Democratic Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar is scheduled to raise money in March with the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) only a week after she used an anti-Semitic trope to claim Israel has paid for GOP support. Omar will be the keynote speaker at CAIR’s 4th Annual Valley Banquet on March 23 to discuss advancing justice and empowering Moslems, according to the organization’s invitation. Single tickets start at $55 per person and a table can cost upwards of $500. Hassan Shibly, the chief executive director for CAIR-Florida, will also be speaking at the event. Shibly has emphatically stated that Hezbollah and Hamas are not terrorist organizations, reported Jordan Schachtel at Conservative Review. Hussam Ayloush, the chief executive director for CAIR-LA, who is hosting the event, compared the state of Israel to the ISIS during a speech in April. Shibley has repeatedly echoed those sentiments and spread propaganda describing US armed forces as radical terrorists. CAIR is a notable pro-Palestinian organization with ties to Islamic terror groups. The U.S. Department of Justice listed CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in funding millions of dollars to the terrorist organization Hamas. Additionally, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) named CAIR a terrorist organization along with al-Qaeda and ISIS in 2014." • The Daily Caller says : "Omar has been in office less than two months and is surrounded by a number of controversies. The freshman congresswoman defended anti-Israeli statements, such as ones invoking Allah to expose Israel’s 'evil doings,' and she has come out in favor of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which seeks to punish the nation-state of Israel by economically depriving the country for its alleged mistreatment of Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip and West Bank. The Minnesota congresswoman is also on record implying Israel is not a democracy and gave an interview to a host that referred to Israel as the 'Jewish ISIS.' Omar and Democratic Michigan Representative Rashida Tlaib became America’s first Moslem congresswomen when sworn into office in January. Their time in office have both been embroiled in allegations of anti-Semitism." • And, then, on February 21, Blabber Buzz reported that : "Minnesota Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar took part in a travel delegation [in November 2017] sponsored by ‘Witness For Peace,’ an organization formed to stop American intervention efforts in South America combatting the spread of communism. The group has been described by Fox News as 'a radical anti-American and anti-Israel organization' that sides with countries who are political foes to the United States. Witness For Peace was formed in 1983 as a means to oppose President Ronald Reagan’s anti-communist policies in South America. They currently have close relations with communists in Cuba and stand firmly behind the devastating economic impact of socialism in Venezuela. The Washington Free Beacon notes that members of the board have accused Israel of 'institutionalized racism' while at least one member has ties to a Palestinian activist who has previously called for the 'eradication of Israel.' After traveling to Honduras as part of the Witness for Peace delegation, [Omar said] I’ve returned home with a heavy heart and deep concern for the electoral process and human rights crisis the people of Honduras are enduring." • The Political Insider calls Omar's relationship with Witness for Peace "particularly troubling" : "The love of Venezuelan socialism and the hatred toward Israel come at a time when the troublesome Omar has had to defend against several anti-Semitic tweets and the railroading of a Jewish special envoy to Venezuela. In 2012, Omar claimed Israel had 'hypnotized the world' and called the nation 'evil.'....Additionally, she has, on multiple occasions defended the actions of ISIS terrorists who frequently cite religion as a motivation for their attacks. Omar has made comparisons of Israel to Iran, repeated anti-Semitic tropes, and supported the definitively anti-Semitic BDS movement. Her words regarding Venezuela are concerning because she is specifically speaking in opposition to current US policy toward the socialist nation. Omar has accused President Trump of backing a 'coup' in Venezuela : 'A US-backed coup in Venezuela is not a solution to the dire issues they face,' she tweeted. 'Trump’s efforts to install a far right opposition will only incite violence and further destabilize the region.' She followed that up with a sophomoric grilling of Elliot Abrams, special envoy to Venezuela, in which she asked his opinion on whether the El Mozote massacre in El Salvador 'was a fabulous achievement that happened under [the United States’] watch.' Abrams responded ‘No,’ to which Omar replied, 'I’ll take that as a ‘yes.' ” • • • BERNIE SANDERS AND SOCIALISTS IN HOT WATER OVER VENEZUELA. Senator Bernie Sanders, who recently announced another bid for the White House in 2020, reached out to Omar “to offer his support amid criticism from both Democrats and Republicans.” This, despite the fact that prominent liberals, such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, have blasted her for blatant anti-Semitism. At the same time, self-labeled Socialist Bernie Sanders refuses to call on Socialist Dictator Nicholas Maduro to step down in Venezuela. Watch his statement defending Madura at < https://t.co/evIWZU6BRo > on YouTube. • The Washington Examiner's Tom Toran says : "It shows Sanders' deliberate attempt to sidestep the reality of apex socialism. Listen to Sanders parsing of words in refusing to call for Maduro to step down. He knows Maduro's power is fraudulent, and comes within a hair of admitting it, but he still resorts to the escape line that Maduro's departure is incumbent upon the Venezuelan people. It's an evasion, because Sanders knows full well that a mass majority of Venezuelans are desperate to see Maduro go. They're desperate because they've seen apex socialism and felt it in the broken, starving bodies of their children and the collapse of their economy and health care system. But they need international support. If not in action, most certainly in words. Yet, Sanders argument is actually worse than that. Because not only is the gentleman from Vermont unwilling to say that Maduro should step down, he's unwilling to follow in the footsteps of the United States, the European Union, and much of Latin America in recognizing the parliamentary speaker Juan Guaido as rightful interim president. Again, Sanders won't commit here beyond saying that the US 'has got to work with the international community' to resolve the issue. It's an excuse for doing nothing. My point here is quite simple. I am very sick of left-wing politicians holding themselves up as arbiters of a moral politics. Where it matters, with a starving and oppressed people, Sanders has blinked in deference to tyranny." • BizPac Review reported on Friday that : "Florida Dems, RNC Latinos slam Bernie Sanders for hair-raising comments on Venezuela, dictator Maduro." Democrats are already undermining Senator Bernie Sanders -- who’s running for President -- because he refuses to call for Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro to step down in favor of Venezuela’s assembly leader, Juan Guaidó. Guaidó has been recognized by 65 nations, including the United States, as the legitimate president of the flailing South American nation. But Sanders told Univision that he does not recognize Juan Guaidó as the duly-elected president of Venezuela, saying he’s concerned that the nation’s recent election was fraudulent. Sanders also recognized that Maduro has been “very, very abusive,” but stopped short of calling for his ousting : “There are serious questions about the recent election. There are many people who feel it was a fraudulent election. I think clearly (Maduro) has been very, very abusive. That is a decision of the Venezuelan people, so there’s got to be a free and fair election. But the United States must not use military force and intervene again -- as it has done in the past in Latin America, whether it was Chile or Brazil or the Dominican Republic or Guatemala. The United States has got to work with the international community to make sure that there is a free and fair election in Venezuela.” • RNC Latinos responded by slamming Bernie Sanders for his continued support of socialism -- a failed ideology that has caused the once-thriving Venezuelan economy to crater into poverty : “No matter how many interviews he does with Latino media outlets, it does not change the fact that Senator Bernie Sanders embraces socialism at home and abroad. Our community will always reject socialism, whether it is in Cuba, Nicaragua, or Venezuela.” • Democrat Congresswoman Donna Shalala of Florida blasted Bernie Sanders for his implicit support of dictator Nicolas Maduro. Shalala further insisted that Sanders will not win the Democrat primary election, so no one should listen to him anyway : “He is not going to be the nominee of the Democratic Party,” Shalala told Politico. “He has demonstrated again that he does not understand this situation. I absolutely disagree with his imprecision in not saying Maduro must go.” • Senator Elizabeth Warren, former vide president Joe Biden, and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand have all denounced Maduro and said the US must oust him. While the Democrat Party has veered to the far-left by openly embracing socialism and government dependency, Venezuelans are horrified by the idea of bringing socialism to the United States. One Venezuelan at a recent Venezuelan Freedom rally in Washington, DC, said : “You do not ever want anything close to socialism. People are eating from trash cans in the streets, so how has socialism helped?” Another, whose family is still suffering in Venezuela, chimed in : “No Venezuelan can like socialism, because we’ve seen it put in place.” • American Thinker wrote on Friday : "Here's the problem. Venezuela's crisis is very much a crisis of socialism. When you expand the state as much as Venezuela did, as rapidly as Venezuela did in the past decade, the private sector dies. That's not even with all of the expropriations of private property; just the expansion of the state is enough to do it, as Tyler Cowen argues : 'If we look at government spending as a percentage of GDP, Venezuela seems far from socialism. In recent years government spending in Venezuela has been measured at about 40% of GDP, with the caveat that these statistics are not fully reliable. For the US, the corresponding figure is about 37%. Yet emerging economies typically cannot afford the same government programs as wealthier countries, and they cannot run them with the same efficacy. Poorer countries that try to expand their governments to the size of wealthier countries, such as Brazil and Venezuela, typically encounter sub-par economic performance. These are indeed stories of big government run amok, as some of conservatives are suggesting.' Blowing out the private sector through price controls and currency controls, all in the name of 'fairness,' is a pretty good way to leave just oil as the only money game in town as an unintended (or, given that these are socialists at war with the 'greedy' private sector, intended) consequence of socialism writ large. Socialist central planning from the state, in that government-knows-best way of Bernie Sanders and all his socialist allies, is another way to Venezuelify a nation through socialism. In 2003, Venezuela's strongman Hugo Chávez, following his Cowen-described creation of conditions for the destruction of the private sector through the expansion of government, nevertheless still had the state oil industry as his money source to ensure his permanent power, which he justified as 'la revolución.' Instead of guarding the oil like Gollum's ring, which would have required free-market business practices, he fired all the oil experts and replaced them with politically connected cronies chosen for their socialism and then spent the oil company's earnings on welfare instead of operational investment, as a normal company would do. That's a really good way to run out of other people's money." • Bernie Sanders says he wants Venezuelans to be fed, the very thing socialism always promises in its propaganda dating from the Bolsheviks. As American Thinker puts it : " 'Peace, land, bread,' right, Bernie? He wants them fed, but there's a problem : the socialist dictator of the place doesn't want them fed, which is why he's blocking aid convoys of massive shipments from the US, Brazil, Chile, Canada, and many other countries' shipments on his southern and eastern frontiers, ordering Venezuelan troops to enforce its non-entry. Sanders conveniently leaves out the sorry socialist detail that brings up the uncomfortable fact that socialism has always used food -- and starvation -- as a weapon to ensure socialist power. No acknowledgment of that one from Bernie. He also leaves out the uncomfortable fact that President Guaidó has asked for it from nations abroad. Sanders seems to want them fed but refuses to admit why they're not being fed." Then, says American Thinker, we get to the worst of Sanders' drivel : "Sanders argues that the real danger in Venezuela is US intervention, not starving people. If someone has to starve so the US doesn't intervene, he's obviously all in, because Trump's brandished weapon, aid, can't be allowed in if a socialist government says "no." His argument that the US must not be overthrowing governments, which he seems to think is the problem here, not socialism itself, is incredibly insulting to the millions and millions of Venezuelans marching and protesting to take back their democracy. President Trump so far has only offered food as President Guaidó asked, and here Bernie is, yelling about US intervention, same as Maduro....It's dishonest, and it suggests that Bernie has a problem, promoting socialism for the US at a time when socialism's result is there for all to see in the nightmare of Venezuela. One can only wonder why he's running at such a time. Some have speculated that he's running because he wants to draw in more money for goodies for himself. His inability to issue any robust defense of his socialism, his past support for Venezuela's socialist regime, or the will of the Venezuelan people pretty much supports that theory. He's in it for the dough. What a repulsive picture." • • • MADURO TROOPS ATTACK NATIVE AMERICAN PEOPLE. American Thinker's Monica Showalter on Saturday pointed out a Maduro crime against Venezuelan Native American people, shooting and killing two of them and wounding at least 8 others as they tried ot help bring food across the southern Venezuelan border from Brazil to feed their starving community. Showalter wrote : "The people were Native American Indians, from an indigenous Amazon tribe, gunned down by the troops of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro. Here's the account of what happened from the Caracas Chronicles : "It all began last night. Pemon indigenous communities gathered near the Venezuela-Brazil border, specifically at Kumaracapay, Gran Sabana municipality, expecting to help with the arrival of humanitarian aid, announced by Caretaker President Juan Guaidó for tomorrow, February 23. Besides Cucuta, Colombia, this is the other entry point of the 'humanitarian avalanche.' According to another source at the site who asked to remain anonymous ('This is a small town, you know,') the Venezuelan National Guard attacked the civilians with tear gas and pellets. 'They brought armored cars, shooted [sic] tear gas everywhere, something we've never, ever, had around here. We took off running and we disseminated everywhere, some of us reached the town nearby, some are going to the conflict zone even on foot, wanting to help.' The source is careful with words : 'I personally know Mrs. Zoraida was killed, and I know of eight wounded. It's hard to say how many wounded there really are, because all of this happened as a car crash occurred nearby too. So it's hard to say how many were hurt on the attack.' Two things are clear. One, the situation at local hospitals is so bad, that many wounded had to be moved across the border for treatment. Two, the indigenous community indeed 'arrested' military officers. Besides the soldiers Pérez mentioned, our anonymous source claims a general is also held : 'Things are very, very tense around here now. I spoke to the captain (the way Venezuelan indigenous communities refer to their chiefs) Ubencio Gómez, and he personally confirmed to me that General José Montoya and two of his bodyguards are being held. He also tells me reprisal seems to be on the way, they know of three military convoys that already crossed El Callao, about three hours from here, to reinforce their units.' " • Showalter states : "You notice that this kind of barbarism isn't being inflicted (so far) on the western border, which is where the Live Aid-style concert is going on and the luminaries and political leaders, including Vice President Mike Pence, are present. It's going on just where Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro is confident no one is going to pay attention, down in the rough and lawless south, where the Indians live. Maduro's apparently fairly sure the white liberals in the US are going to have a double standard about Indians this time, so the socialist gunfire blazes away....Hungry Native Americans are literally being slaughtered by Maduroites for trying to accept food from Brazil, and the Left here is completely silent, with Jurassics such as Bernie Sanders ranting on about past US invasions as the 'real' problem, while liberals such as [a] Bloomberg columnist are unable to extricate the question of aid from their dislike of President Trump, despite his quotes from analysts who are helpfully trying to tell him Trump has it right. He's got nothing there about the Indians. Yet this is a bona fide slaughter of Native American Indians, and the same people who rush to defend Indians no matter what in the States are now weirdly silent about the targeting of them farther south. For the record, Indians have always gotten the short end of the stick from the hemisphere's socialists. They were targeted for special slaughter by the Marxist Shining Path guerrillas in Peru during the 1990s, and they were targeted for murder by the Marxist FARC narco-terrorists in Colombia a decade later, something the Left kept blaming on President Alvaro Uribe, who put a lot of military muscle into defending them. There have been numerous incidents of abuses against the indigenous people in Venezuela starting with the socialist Chávez regime, and now it's come to outright massacres. Where is their liberal 'compassion' for the Indians now that the Venezuelan socialist regime is not only starving them, but now killing them? Their hypocrisy is showing." • • • DEAR READERS, Neither Omar nor Sanders hide their anti-American, pro-socialist quasi-Communist views. Yet they have prominent roles in the Democrat party, and one wants to lead the US. This radical thinking and agenda to make America a Soviet-type socialist country must stop. The anti-Semitism must stop. The Democrats must denounce these radical socialist-marxists and stop putting people like Sanders and Omar in positions of power. When Farrakhan tells Omar : "Don’t apologize for Israel comments?" we know all we need to know about her. In Ilhan Omar’s District, Gangland Islamists and “No Talking to 'Infidels'” rules are common -- is it any surprise that the Minneapolis neighborhood dubbed “Little Mogadishu” would seem an awful lot like the real, big Mogadishu? In Moslem Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar’s district, police are struggling with murders, Moslem gangs, and a “tight-lipped” “Somali” community that’s reluctant to talk to law enforcement. • Can Moslem immigrants "assimilate?" Fox News wrote last week that incentive to assimilate is now lacking. Not only does multiculturalism encourage retainment of foreign ways, but when a given group arrives in large numbers, they can live in enclaves, in mini-nations within our nation. The result is that in “the neighborhood of Cedar-Riverside, for example, it’s possible to go about day-to-day business without ever interacting with a non-Somali.” • Does any of this explain why Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar -- Congress’s three most controversial members, one a socialist, one an anti-Semite, and one an anti-Semite and possible terrorist -- tried during a joint interview last week to downplay Tlaib’s recent use of the profane term “motherf–ker” to describe the President. BizPac Revies reported : "Speaking together on 'Desus & Mero,' an urban late-night talk show on Showtime, the trio described the term as a 'boo-boo word' and complained about the alleged 'double standard' : 'Rashida got into a little trouble for saying a boo-boo word,' AOC recalled. 'I hit up Rashida, I sent her a text and was like, ‘Don’t worry about it. Like, who cares?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, I’m from Detroit. Back there that’s what we call a guy.' Tlaib concurred, saying, 'Honestly. That’s [like] saying ‘that guy.' ” • The three then tried to say that President Trump is excused for his 'double standard.' BUT, the truth is that the President felt quite differently, saying at a Rose Garden news conference : “I thought her comments were disgraceful. I think she dishonored herself, and I think she dishonored her family using language like that in front of her son and whoever else was there. I thought it was highly disrespectful to the United States of America.” What President Trump said about Tlaib’s son was the key -- while speaking to her supporters, she’d been describing what she’d said earlier to her son. It’s unclear whether she actually did say that to her son, but the idea that she’d say something so foul to a child is what’s so disturbing." • As Professor Denis Mac Eoin wrote in a Gatestone Institute article about French anti-Semitism and Moslem assimilation on Saturday : "That young French Moslems display high levels of acceptance or outright support for terrorism is summed up by Colin Randall, writing in The National in late 2018 : 'A study of attitudes in high schools in areas of high Moslem population revealed some startling statistics. About 45 per cent of Moslem pupils did not unreservedly condemn the murders of 12 people at the Paris offices of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and 20% supported taking up arms 'in certain circumstances' to defend their faith. France is considered the standard bearer for Western secular liberalism and had, therefore been singled out by Islamic State as a key target....Adapting religious beliefs to secularism should not be hard to do; it mainly depends if one wants to. French secularism, like the American separation of church and state, allows religions to act openly in matters of worship and faith. That freedom has been well summed up by the leading French organization for public diplomacy, France Diplomatie : 'France is an indivisible, secular, democratic and social Republic, guaranteeing that all citizens regardless of their origin, race or religion are treated as equals before the law and respecting all religious beliefs' states the Constitution of 1958. The 'freedom to practice religion' has been recognized since 1905 when the Law on the Separation of the Church and State came into effect. Far from being a weapon against religion, this text returned all religions to the private sector and established state secularism in the public sphere. The French State does not favor any one religion and guarantees their peaceful co-existence in respect of the laws and principles of the Republic....There is greater cultural diversity in France today than in the past, which is why the country needs secularism now more than ever, for it enables all citizens, whatever their philosophical or religious beliefs, to live together, enjoying freedom of conscience, freedom to practice a religion or to choose not to, equal rights and obligations, and republican fraternity. Secularism is not an opinion among others, but rather the freedom to have an opinion. It is not a belief, but rather the principle authorizing all beliefs, providing they respect the principles of freedom of conscience and equal rights. For this reason, it is neither pro- nor anti-religious. On this basis, adherence to a faith or philosophical belief is entirely a question of freedom of conscience for every woman or man." • But, as France has learned -- and the United States is now learning -- when religion becomes a radical political agenda that seeks not to assimilate but to overturn the existing political system, there is no 'freedom of religion' aspect to the confrontation. It becomes a war of political systems and cultures. France has learned the lesson and is now marshaling itself as a society to combat an unacceptable assault on its secular and democratic political tradition. The American Democrat Party must learn this and act accordingly if it hopes to survive as a major US political party.

  1. Integration. Race relations can not be solved via laws and regulations. They must come about via the desires and actions of citizens wanting and noticing where change is needed, wanted, necessary.

To expect startling change from those that hold the power already is being an Ostrich with your head deep in the sand.

Understand the force your working against, then select your attack points with the most potential to fall your way.
