The ProgDem Elites Are Coming for America

TODAY WE SEE THE REAL STACEY ABRAMS. She is not just a losing Democrat in Georgia who will fade into oblivion. Stacey Abrams is an 'advance man' - or woman -- for the assault on American democracy. • • • ABRAMS SAYS GOVERNOR-ELECT KEMP IS "NOT LEGITIMATE." Democrat Stacey Abrams, Georgia’s losing gubernatorial candidate in the 2018 midterms, openly and repeatedly refused to call the victor -- Republican Governor-Elect Brian Kemp -- “legitimate” in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union” on Sunday morning. It was Abrams' first national interview since quasi-'conceding' her loss. She insists that there was deliberate interference in the election, telling Tapper : “Yes, there was a deliberate and intentional disinvestment and I think destruction of the administration of elections in the state of Georgia." On Friday, Abrams had said in her concession speech : "Democracy failed in Georgia.” It was a concession speech without the use of the word “concede,” because Abrams believes that the use of the word "concession" implied the actions taken to effect the outcome were “right, true, or proper.” • Of course, as is the case in most Democrat election losses now, Abrams is planning a federal lawsuit against the state over its “gross mismanagement” of Georgia’s elections. “My accusations are based entirely on evidence,” Abrams said, describing the difference between her Fair Fight Georgia lawsuit and President Donald Trump’s tweeted allegations of voter fraud in nearby Florida’s midterm elections, adding, “I’m simply using this moment to lift up a call to arms, but I’m going to do so in a court of law, not in the court of public opinion.” • Abrams disagrees with the “vigor” with which Kemp, who was Georgia’s secretary of state during the midterm elections, purged inactive voters from the state’s rolls : “It’s not sufficient to simply purge voters from the rolls for inactivity. He [Kemp] removed voters who were eligible,” Abrams charged, adding that Kemp also denied access to more than 3,000 new citizens. • • • PURGING STATE VOTER ROLLS. We should note that Kemp was following Georgia law in purging from voter rolls those who had not voted in 3 years. are necessary to ensure the integrity of Georgia elections. The voters were removed under the state's "use it or lose it" law, which starts a process for removing people from voter rolls if they fail to vote, respond to a notice or make contact with election officials over a 3-year period. After that 3-year span, those who don't vote or make contact with authorities in two elections can be purged from the voter rolls under the Georgia law. Such laws, generally enacted by GOP governments -- although what is now called a "purge" happened in my home state when I was a young voter if one didn't vote for 2 years or 8 election cycles, if I remember the exact law -- have been growing more common, with at least nine states now having them. • BizPac Review (BPR) wrote on October : "Brian Kemp, Georgia's Secretary of State and the GOP candidate for Governor, is being sued in federal court by civil rights groups over the voter registration status of thousands of African-American Georgia voters 'on hold' just a month before his election against Democrat Stacey Abrams, who if elected would be America's first black, female governor. Georgia is one of several states that uses an 'exact match' voter verification system to confirm the identity of voters, requiring the name and spelling someone uses to register to vote to match the information on their driver's license and/or Social Security card. An error as minor as a one-letter spelling discrepancy or dropped hyphen from a last name could mean a voter's registration application or status would be indefinitely stalled until they resolve the discrepancy with the relevant state or federal agency." BUT, voters whose registrations have been put hold can still vote, however, if they bring an ID to the polls that 'substantially matches' the name they used to register to vote, according to the ACLU of Georgia. • BPR said : "An Associated Press analysis revealed that while Georgia's population is 32% African-American, according to the most recent Census data, a full 70% of the 53,000 voters whose registration status had been put on hold identified as such, leading critics to accuse Kemp of deliberately disenfranchising likely Abrams voters." • Kemp, the top elections official in Georgia, has also come under fire for cancelling 1.4 million Georgia voter registrations since he took office in 2012. "We've shown that this process disproportionately prevents minority applicants from getting on the voter registration rolls," Julie Houk, special counsel for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, said of exact matching registration in an interview with AP. Kemp says the cancelled and stalled registrations are not intentionally suppressive, but necessary to ensure that non-citizens don't vote in Georgia elections. BPR noted that Kemp has also blamed Abrams herself, and the voter turnout nonprofit she founded, for the racial disparities in those affected by the registration freezes, "accusing Abrams' New Georgia Project of submitting voter registration forms with missing information or illegible names of voters." • And, as we would expect, Democrats support Abrams. Democrat Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio -- another state that "purges" its voter rolls -- told Al Sharpton's National Action Network in a speech : “If Stacey Abrams doesn’t win in Georgia, they stole it.” [A side note -- Nancy Pelosi thanked NAN founder Al Sharpton for “saving America” by helping Democrats win the majority in the House.] • Stacey Abrams told Jake Tapper : "The law as it stands says that [Kemp] received an adequate number of votes to become the governor of Georgia....Sometimes the law does not do what it should,” said Abrams, giving a non-answer to Tapper’s question about whether Brown was correct and whether she believed Kemp to be the legitimate governor-elect of Georgia. Abrams answered : “Something being legal doesn’t make it right,” she added. “He has compromised our democratic systems.” Tapper tried a second time, asked Abrams directly whether Kemp was the legitimate governor-elect of Georgia. And for a second time, Abrams refused to answer directly. Tapper went for a third try but he lost again : “You’re not using the word legitimate. Is he the legitimate governor of Georgia?” Tapper pressed. Abrams said : “Words have meaning...and I’m very careful with the words I use. He is the legal governor of Georgia. Kemp is the legal victor. We have had systematic disenfranchisement of voters. We have seen gross mismanagement of our elections. And we have seen an erosion of faith in democracy in our state. My accusations are based entirely on evidence.” The video of the Tapper-Abrams exchange is available at < https://twitter.com/twitter/statuses/1064307516325146624 >. • THEN came the Abrams words that have "meaning" : “I’m simply using this moment to lift up a call to arms, but I’m going to do so in a court of law, not in the court of public opinion.” • • • STACEY ABRAMS REJECTS THE WILL OF GEORGIA'S VOTERS. On Monday, American Thinker said of her refusal to bow to the voters' decision : "Of course, democracy did not fail in Georgia. The voters made their voices heard at the ballot box, and Ms. Abrams did not like what she heard. The late Israeli historian J. L. Talmon called such behavior 'totalitarian democracy' or 'messianic democracy,' which found its origins in the French Revolution when the extremists arrogated to themselves the unfettered right to interpret the will of the people. Alexis de Tocqueville wrote about this when he observed that those who made the French Revolution always spoke in the name of the people, without in the least having bothered to consult them. Talmon’s theme was that in totalitarian democracy there exists a general will, an abstraction that is known to elites who divine what the people really want and assume the right to speak in the name of the people. In totalitarian democracy, the elite are not the people’s representatives but their messiahs." American Thinker says : "Abrams stands squarely in the long pantheon of those who claimed not only to understand the will of the people but also to embody it. This pantheon includes the French Revolution’s Robespierre, Italy’s Benito Mussolini, Argentina’s Juan Peron, and Lenin, among others." • And, it is exactly this about Stacey Abrams that makes her an 'advance man' for the assault on American democracy. Her idea of American democracy is twisted and elitist. And, it poses the greatest internal threat to the unity of the nation that we have seen since the Civil War. Such totalitarian democracy allows Progressives and Globalists in America and all around the world to also see Donald Trump's presidential victory as "not legitimate" -- it is the arrogance of those on the socialist-marxist Left who believe only they, the elites, can know what is "best" for the citizens of the country they live in, be it the United States, Poland, Greece, Hungary, Italy, France, Germany -- or China. The last time such elitist totalitarian was publicly spoken in America was when Hillary Clinton lost the presidency to Donald Trump and declared that she had won and then blamed everyone from conservatives to white men to women to the media to Russia for her not being President. Hillary Clinton's unending and insufferable whining about losing the presidential contest, like Stacey Abrams whining and threats now, is a reflection of their arrogant and unbending belief that they, and they alone, are the embodiment of the general will of the American people, even when the votes tell them they are wrong. • For American Thinker : "Georgians and the rest of America should breathe a long sigh of relief that Stacey Abrams lost. Her philosophy of the electoral process is not that of liberal democracy where the people select their representatives. Her philosophy is that of an arrogant elite that stand ready to speak in the name of the people without having to consult them. Democracy has not failed Georgia. Stacey Abrams and those like her who refuse to hear the voice of the electorate have failed America. The sinew of our democracy can only be stretched so far into the oblivion represented by her totalitarian mindset." • • • WILL THE DEMOCRAT SOCIALISTS TAKE OVER AMERICA? Selwyn Duke, a widely published and read American conservative, wrote a long piece in American Thinker on Monday with the title "American’t : From Midterms to End Times." His warning is stark : "Truly great disasters come like a thief in the night. How many foresaw Rome’s sacking in 410 AD, her collapse 66 years later, WWI or WWII? As for today, how many see that the United States is at what some call a tipping point, what others may call a Fourth Turning? Whatever you call it, the American republic is in its last days. This is too scary for many to contemplate, but there’s something far scarier: playing ostrich and not being prepared for things to come." • Duke treats the elitist theme : "The so-called Left, ever violent since its French Revolution birth and as power hungry as ever, wholly controls the culture: the media, mainstream and social; academia; and entertainment. This means it controls long-term politics, since the latter is downstream of culture. So is big business, mind you, which is why the Left controls most of it as well; this, of course, translates into funding. Trump’s 2016 victory will not MAGA; it was merely a stay of execution, a prolonging of the inevitable. This should have been obvious in a country that could elect Barack Obama and then, like the Titanic having backed up to hit the iceberg again, re-elect him. If it wasn’t, it should be obvious now that the Democrats have seized the House in a Watergate-level rout." • Selwyn Duke rejects the idea that the mid-terms were "normal" because they are being mis-read : "The notion that this was a standard result for a President’s first midterm is only comforting when viewing matters in relative terms; that is, the ‘political spectrum’ always has a right and left side no matter how far ‘left’ that spectrum moves. The problem? Civilizational ebbs and flows (and collapses) are governed by absolutes, such as right and wrong; not relative qualities, such as right and left. Thinking otherwise is like supposing your transition from stage-one to stage-four cancer as a 70-year-old is like when you went from a bruised arm to a broken one as a 12-year-old because, well, both involve movement toward diminished states of health. But this isn’t your grandfather’s Democrat Party. Voters this time empowered socialistic to socialist to closet-communist, sexual devolutionary, rabble-rousing, low-I.Q., no virtue, ignorant freaks who often encourage political violence by their Antifa-Brownshirt useful idiots. So it’s not your great-grandfather’s America, either." • Duke raises again -- as many others have in warning to the traditionally conservative American baseline -- the demographics issue : "Digging into the electoral numbers also tells a tale. Ninety percent of blacks, 79% of Jews, 77% of Asians, 69% of Hispanics and 59% of women voted Democrat -- same as usual. Can we stop now with talk about “Blexit,” the “Walkaway” movement, how “Hispanics are natural conservatives,” how Jews are waking up to the Left’s anti-Semitism and all the other connedservative self-delusion? People vote in accordance with their emotional and philosophical foundations, and 'You cannot reason a man out of a position he has not reasoned himself into,' as Jonathan Swift put it. Fooling oneself doesn’t help. The voters are only getting worse, too, for three basic reasons: immigration, indoctrination and moral corruption." Duke points out that since the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 took effect in 1968, 85 to 90% of our immigrants have come from the Third World, and 70 to 90% of them support Democrats upon naturalization. This, says Duke, has caused "a historic demographic shift (and attendant electoral one) that has seen our nation go from 85-plus percent white in 1965 to only 61 percent non-Hispanic white today. Let’s define further the political impact, using conservative figures. We absorb approximately 1.3 million legal immigrants annually. If one million ultimately remain and are naturalized and 50 percent vote, and 80 percent of that group breaks Democrat, it means a net plus for Democrats of 300,000 voters every year and three million every decade." • And, the demographic shift is not only because of Third World immigrants, says Selwyn Duke : "So let’s crunch some more numbers. Between Trump’s 2016 victory and Election Day 2020, more than 10 million Americans will have died; mostly older, they’re a relatively conservative voting demographic. They will more or less be replaced, however, by approximately 16 million young people who’ll turn 18 during those years. Unlike their elders, though, they’ll disproportionately cast ballots for hardcore statists. Given this ongoing immigration and indoctrination-enabled electoral-degradation process, is it now clearer why Republicans have lost the popular vote in six of the last seven presidential contests?" • Duke's message is crystalline : "Note that during our entire pre-2000 history, Republican candidates won the presidency while losing the popular vote only twice. Now it has happened twice since 2000 alone, with the GOP capturing the popular vote in just one of its three victories (G.W. Bush, 2004). How long can we continue losing it while winning the Electoral College? We can’t pull inside straights forever. Moreover, the cards won’t be there at all once Texas turns blue, and the warning signs are already evident. Rationalize all you want, but leftist nuts Andrew “Cracker State” Gillum, Irish Bob the Phony Mexican (O’Rourke) and Stacey “Suin’ Sore Loser” Abrams came close to winning in, respectively, Florida, Texas(!) and Georgia(!); Taliban bubblehead Kyrsten Sinema did win in Arizona. We’re further down the rabbit hole than you think, Alice." • And it only gets more dire. Duke sees whatever the Democrat presidential ticket is in 202 as "a ticket to Hell....When the Democrats seize the presidency and both legislative chambers -- which they eventually will -- they’ll have a justification for behaving as tyrannically as they fancy we have. They’ll see it as simply responding in kind to a precedent we [the sexist, racist, bigoted Deplorables] set. You’ll have Antifa in power. The more 'conservative' Supreme Court won’t save us, either. With their power-lust and ends-justify-the-means mentality, the Left will discover that judicial supremacy isn’t in the Constitution (which it isn’t). Unlike connedservatives, though, they’ll actually act upon their epiphany and ignore inconvenient court rulings." Selwyn Duke's entire article is available at < https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/11/americant_from_midterms_to_end_times.html#ixzz5XJhCnlcL >. • • • CAN AMERICA SURVIVE? It is hard to argue with Selwyn Duke's warning. On their face, his arguments are powerful. He has "good news" -- but even that is stark : "There no longer is an 'American people'; there are peoples living in America. We’re balkanized not just racially, ethnically and religiously, but also ideologically, sexually and philosophically; we speak different languages, literally and figuratively. With open talk of open-borders socialism on one side and nationalism on the other, the Overton window is now so wide that each end occupies a different time zone. Frankly, many of us hate each other. If our union were a marriage, we’d have divorced long ago. And I believe this will likely be the US’s fate : dissolution. It may be precipitated by a calamity such as a severe economic collapse. If the federal government is then unable to meet its obligations (e.g., Social Security payments), the union-binding carrot will be gone. If the feds also seek to impose a tyrannical will, certain states may nullify their dictates, creating a further rift. One thing could then lead to another and..." • Can it be that America is facing another Civil War? We have been reading and listening to serious analysts talk about such an end for several years. Certainly the ProgDem Left is doing all it can to provoke the traditional conservative America into starting a national street fight. The ProgDems and their foot soldiers, many paid by the likes of Soros and Steyer, hurl words like nazi and racist around like they actually want to start a fight. Attacking and bullying conservatives can go on only so long before something, as Duke says, will set off the war : "if the Left keeps pushing, it eventually will get pushback." • At least one Democrat House member, Eric Swalwell -- of California, where else?? -- is pushing hard. In May, Swalwell wrote an op-ed for USA Today that argues for federal confiscation, and an Australian-style "buyback," of "assault weapons" in America (which, even when accounting for murders by weapons "misclassified" as assault weapons, are used in fewer than 1% of homicides)." Swalwell's attack on the Second Amendment went unnoticed until this week, when he ridiculously suggested that the government might employ "nukes" if it ever had to go to war with a disgruntled citizenry. That made headlines. Such an idea might play well with Swalwell's La La Land constituents, but suggesting that the millions of Americans who own -- and surely would not surrender -- weapons to an unconstitutional seizure brigade sends a clear message about how far the more radical Democrats would go to take guns away from America's heartland.Stalwell argues for the federal confiscation of millions of weapons that the federal government may arbitrarily deem too deadly for individual Americans to own. Is that elitist?? Can we picture federal agents physically visiting Americans' homes to seize their weapons if they choose not to surrender or "sell" them to the government? Can we imagine the likely violence? Swalwell is surely not oblivious to the fact that millions of Americans, like our Founders, see our right to gun ownership as a means of protection from the very government he would send out to confiscate them. Swalwell's comment has been labeled a joke. It is not : "And it would be a short war, my friend. The government has nukes. Too many of them. But they're legit. I'm sure if we talked we could find common ground to protect our families and communities." Represnetative (?) Swalwell actually makes a perfect case for gun rights -- the existence and exact purpose of the Second Amendment could not be better justified. You can read William Sullivan's entire article at < https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/11/dem_congressman_government_can_always_nuke_resistant_gunowners.html#ixzz5XJiGUERq >. • • • DEAR READERS, the sad aspect of Eric Swalwell's idea is that it is coming closer to being possible every day -- or at least, every election. AND, it is partly because #NeverTrump Republicans despise President Trump for his popularity, his calls for popular nationalism, and his uncanny success. That Donald Trump was able to scoop up the Republican Party heartland and render the Washington Swamp GOP establishment toothless was to them an affront not to be tolerated. As Brian C. Joondeph wrote in a November 15 American Thinker article : "NeverTrump Republicans have been rabidly obsessed since 2015 to prevent Donald Trump’s nomination, election, and having failed, to join the left in nonstop criticism and condemnation of President Trump. They may be succeeding, but to what end? As they look around at the current political landscape, are they truly happy with the direction of the country? Or is that irrelevant, as long as they can strut around on their high horse, feeling smug, telling each other 'I told you so'?....So-called 'principled Republicans' were incensed that a loud-mouth from Queens, a TV reality star, a host of beauty pageants, someone never before elected to public office, should challenge the Republican establishment orthodoxy. His tweets and straight talk were unacceptable. Calling out the media and his political opponents ran against the grain of how they thought Republicans should handle themselves in a presidential campaign. Trump did not follow the proper and acceptable savoir faire of John McCain or Mitt Romney, two prominent NeverTrumpers. The fact that both lost their elections to an easily defeatable far-left candidate who damaged the country badly during his eight-year reign of 'fundamentally transforming America' seems to be lost on Trump’s GOP critics." Dr; Joondeph calls out the #NeverTrump names -- McCain, Romney, George Will, Max Boot, Steve Schmidt, Bret Stephens, Jennifer Rubin, and anyone with the last name of Bush, Paul Ryan, Jeff Flake, Ben Sasse, Bob Corker, and others. Dr. Joondeph notes that : "After the mid-term elections, they should be ecstatic....Republican victories on election night are either being contested or have already been overturned, a week later morphing into Democrat victories. Funny that. Were any election night Democrat victories overturned a week later due to the miracle of uncounted or provisional ballots? Election thievery, similar to Deep State justice, seems to go in only one direction." • Dr. Joondeph asks the right questions : "How many Senators and Representatives believed the Russian collusion hoax, invented by Obama and dutifully reported by the media to the point where they were expecting that Trump would either resign or be impeached before he served one year in office? How many Republicans chose to retire at the end of this Congress, choosing to not go down with what they perceived as a sinking Trump ship, rather than keep their safe incumbent seats, and therefore the House majority?" • In 2018, Democrats turned out 79% of their 2016 presidential election voters, compared to only 75% for Republicans. As Dr. Joondeph says : "Turnout wins elections, but Trump voters may not have turned out to vote for those shouting “NeverTrump!” Despite Trump’s involvement in the midterm campaigns, he wasn’t on the ballot, but members of Congress were. In my local Congressional district, Rep Mike Coffman was a NeverTrump Republican; his main campaign message was how he would 'stand up to President Trump.' How did the midterms turn out for him?....In 2016, Coffman won 192 thousand votes, earning reelection compared to 160 thousand votes for his Democrat opponent. In 2018, he only received 146 thousand votes while his Democrat opponent won 184 thousand votes. The Democrat won this year, but with fewer votes than Coffman received 2 years ago. Instead, Coffman only garnered only 76% of the votes he received just 2 years ago. How much was due to his NeverTrump stance?" • Max Boot said, “Donald Trump is the worst person ever to be president.” George Will called Trump, “A sad, embarrassing wreck of a man.” Steve Schmidt, who ran McCain’s losing presidential campaign said, “I left the Republican Party. Now I want Democrats to take over.” • It is poetic justice, but at the expense of the Americna Republic. Dr. Joondeph wrote : "Well boys, you have your wish. The party you once were a part of is now in the hands of Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, and Adam Schiff. Your one-time conservative goal of smaller government, a conservative judiciary, and freedom and liberty for all is heading to the waste bin of history. Thanks to your constant haranguing you will instead enjoy illegal immigration, sanctuary cities, identity politics, mob harassment, and a paralyzed Republican President. Your resistance to everything and anything Trump is coming home to roost. Open borders will shift the electoral demographics a permanent shade of blue, the electoral college soon out of reach of any conservative Republican presidential candidate. NeverTrumpers who once revered Reagan, through their myopic pettiness, have given us Kyrsten Sinema and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as the new faces of the Democrat Party. All because you don’t like Trump’s tweets or how he revoked drama queen Jim Acosta’s press pass. Thanks a lot." • How can the Republican Party be so stupid, you ask? The answer is so simple. Except for the 8 years from 1980 to 1988 when Ronald Reagan held their feet to the fire, from the moment they walked into the Lyndon Johnson trap of the badly drafted and over-reaching Civil Rights Act, Republicans as a Party have been either AWOL from the big political issues of the day or on the Democrat side of the fence, pleading that they couldn't do what their GOP grassroots wanted them to do. Donald Trump told the GOP grassroots he could do whatthey wanted -- a Wall, immigration control and reform, ending ObamaCare. BUT, those same Republican elites are still whining about not being able to do what President Trump and his grassroots want. The result was the mid-term fiasco. Will America survive it? If we put ourselves into the hands of the socialist-marxist Progressive Democrats, we will slowly fade into the socialist Europe we are watching collapse. Or, if we stand and fight, we will become a target for a China that would just love to have all of America as part of its Communist People's paradise. We can avoid all of that if we just wake up to the truth that voting for Trump and supporting his agenda is the only way forward. And, reminding the GOP elites now in Congress of their mid-term election losses might bring them around. We do not have decades to pull our Republic together. "It ain't over till the fat lady sings," is a baseball truism. Well, the Fat Lady is warming up in the bullpen. If she ever starts to sing, it will be too late. Selwyn Duke said it : "For whatever terrors, traumas and tribulations lie ahead, we’ll need a lot of courage for things to come."

  1. We need to follow the course that President Trump has set out for us to travel.

Strong immigration policies, in-depth vetting of immigrants seeking Asylum in the U. S., trade desks that are good for us, building a wall all along the Southern Border.
