Corker Stokes the Progressive Cabal against Conservative President Trump and His Supporters
THE REAL NEWS TODAY IS THAT THE SWAMP IS GETTING ROWDY. Does that mean they finally realize that Trump will Drain the Swamp -- or as he called it on Monday, the "Sewer" because the situation in Washington is even worse than he thought -- one way or another and there is nothing they can do about it?? • • • CORKER'S FANTASIES. Senator Bob Corker, the Republican establishment elitist who has turned his true #Never Trump fury on the President, confirmed to the New York Times that the Republican establishment is focused on corralling President Trump and his agenda. In an interview with reporter Jonathan Martin, Corker said that most Republican Senators realize that Trump is a threat to the general world order : “[They] understand the volatility that we’re dealing with and the tremendous amount of work that it takes by people around him to keep him in the middle of the road." Corker, a quiet Temmessee Republican whose recent guttersnipe attacks on Trump are a great surprise, suddenly came unglued on Twitter on Monday when he tweeted the shameful "adult day care center" attack on the President. Corker told the New York Times he was trying to send a message to “the good guys” -- Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and the White House chief of staff, John F. Kelly : “As long as there are people like that around him who are able to talk him down when he gets spun up, you know, calm him down and continue to work with him before a decision gets made, I think we’ll be fine." • Secretary Tillerson, Secretary (General) Mattis and White House chief of staff General Kelly have been silent on the Corker attacks and his naming them as the White House daycare brigade, but as Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton, a loyal Trump supporter, so pointedly put it on October 9 in a Politico intervies, when he referred to their testimony to the Senate that the Iran nuclear deal is in America's best interests : “[Their] job is now to move out and execute...If you feel strongly enough, then you have to resign.” But, we don't see any of the three Trump senior team members writing resignation letters, do we? • What Senator Corker doesn't seem to realize is that he is doing harm -- to himself, to the traditional Republican Party, and to America -- by giving cannon fodder to the Progressive cabal that is determined to eliminate President Trump and the GOP. • Fox News reporter Chris Stirewalt doesn't get it either. He said on Monday : "Senator Bob Corker blew up the internet by referring to the White House as an 'adult daycare center'...Corker expounded on his diminishment of Trump in an NYT interview, warning that Trump’s recklessness could lead to World War III and praising the 'tremendous amount of work that it takes by people around him to keep him in the middle of the road.' ” Stirewalt believes "Trump [had] it coming. The President lashed out at Corker after hearing the Senator’s remarks to reporters in defense of the much-beleaguered Secretary of State Rex Tillerson who, in Corker’s telling, is one of a handful of people in the administration who 'separate our country from chaos.' ” For Stirewalt, Corker, and other neo-conservatives who hate Trump's efforts to take America back from the elitist Washington establishment, "every Republican in Congress by now understands the dynamic which we first saw at work during the campaign in which a bombastic, erratic, and often impetuous principle is surrounded by the human version of bubble wrap....But, then Corker offers no solution other than for Trump to be led around by the nose by his subordinates." That is a bunch of Fake News rolled up to sound high-toned, but, in reality it is SMEAR 101. • • • BANNON AND TAKING AMERICA BACK FROM THE ELITES. Most important, neither Stirewalt not Corker now anyone in the Washington elite and MSM understand the dynamic at play between President Trump and Steve Bannon. "Bannon embarrassed Trump in an Alabama Senate primary runoff and is getting ready to do the same thing in primary races coast to coast," according ot Stirewalt, but that is clearly not the case. Every time Bannon talks about the 2018 election, he says his goal is to elect enough pro-Trump GOP Senators to oust Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who
Bannon blames for the President's early stumbles with Congress, casting Mitch as an elitist looking down at Trump's working class base. Bannon said it at the Monday-before-election-day-rally in Alabama when he spoke in behalf of Judge Roy Moore : "Mitch McConnell and this permanent political class is the most corrupt and incompetent group of individuals in this country." Bannon helped to bring Alabama's Roy Moore home a winner, 55% to 45%, and now Bannon has his sights set on unseating other incumbent Republicans, targeting everyone up for re-election, as he tries to get Senate Majority Leader McConnell replaced. • Where can we get the most thorough coverage of the Bannon effort for trump?? Not in the US media. We have to go to the UK Daily Mail, which published a long article on Bannon on Monday. The Daily Mail wrote that Bannon will back primary challenges against EVERY Republican running for Senate re-election next year except Texas Senator Ted Cruz : "as Trump's former strategist hatches plan to boot McConnell from majority leader job....With Senator Bob Corker, R-Tenn., retiring, Bannon is already looking at Tea Party favorite, Representative Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., as a suitable replacement. Bannon-backed candidates must promise to vote against Senator Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., for majority leader and must support killing the filibuster....Senator Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., was one of the first incumbent GOP Senators on Steve Bannon's radar to take out." The Daily Mail published Bannon's remarks to the Alabama audience, whne he said McConnell and the elites "think you're a pack of morons, they think you're nothing but rubes, they have no interest at all in what you have to say, what you have to think or what you want to do. And tomorrow you're going to get an opportunity to tell them what you think of the elites who run this country." The Bannon hit list includes Senators Jeff Flake - Arizona; Roger Wicker - Mississippi; Deb Fischer - Nebraska; Dean Heller - Nevada; Orrin Hatch - Utah; John Barrasso - Wyoming. • The Daily Mail wrote of Bannon's favorite for the Corker Tennessee Senate seat, Representative Marsha Blackburn : "She's in line ideologically with Bannon and Trump, having been an early adapter of the Tea Party movement and one of 11 GOP co-sponsors in 2009 on a so-called 'birther' bill, which would require presidential candidates to prove they were born in the USA." In Arizona, the Daily Mail reported : "Bannon is backing former state Senator Kelli Ward, who has benefited from early money from the Mercer family, also a Bannon ally. Robert
Mercer has already given $300,000 to a pro-Ward sup PAC. The White House had tried to recruit another candidate to take on Flake, who has been openly critical of the President. Ward's Senate kick-off is scheduled for later this month and will be headlined by conservative radio host Laura Ingraham, another big draw for Trump's base. Bannon has also met with Danny Tarkanian about challenging Heller in Nevada. He's spoken with Blackwater founder Erik Prince, as a potential challenger to Barrasso in Wyoming." According to the Daily Mail, Bannon is also looking for suitable Republicans to take on imperiled Democrats in West Virginia and Missouri. • But, as we earlier discussed in our blog, the Daily Mail says : "Bannon's moves could also lead to missed opportunities for Republicans, who had hoped to pick off several endangered Democrats to enlarge their majority in 2018. Instead they could be throwing money to get Bannon-backed right-wing candidates elected in purple states like Nevada. One such example is Senator Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., who almost got bumped out of office in 2012, but for her GOP rival Todd Akin making a gaffe about 'legitimate rape.' Both McConnell and Vice President Mike Pence see the state's Attorney General Josh Hawley as the best hope to pick off the Democrat....Hawley called President Trump's chief strategist over the last two weeks, reminding him of their common bonds, Politico reported. Hawley talked about his own connections with the Mercer family, having met with Robert Mercer last fall, and named-dropped other people in the Trump orbit. Meanwhile, Bannon met with former state GOP chair Ed Martin last month, during a
trip to St. Louis to accept the Phyllis Schlafly Eagle Award. Martin has continued to flirt with a Senate bid, though didn't say if he would
indeed get Bannon's backing. 'He encouraged me to keep working on the Trump agenda fearlessly,' Martin told Politico. 'We will see if that means something later.' Republican National Committee Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel reminded CNN's Wolf Blitzer Monday that the RNC doesn't pick sides during the primaries. 'Well as a party we stay neutral in primaries, which is helpful because then we can bring the divided factions together toward the overall purpose of winning the election in the general,' Romney McDaniel answered when asked about Bannon's plans. She noted, however, how important it was for Republicans not to lose those seats. 'We want to make sure we keep those incumbent senators in play, we want to make sure we keep those seats, but the voters are going to decide and ultimately the RNC is going to support whatever the voters decide,' Romney McDaniel said." • Yes, indeed. The voters will decide, and Trump will certainly be working the stumps for Bannon-backed GOP candidates who represent Trump's views about the political changes needed to Make America Great Again. • • • WHAT DRIVES PROGDEMS TO ATTACK TRUMP? The Washington Post probably summed it all up for the Progressive left of the Democrat Party. On Monday, Greg Sargent wrote : "In an interview with the New York Times, Corker flatly warned that Trump’s antics may set us 'on the path to World War III.' But, while that is obviously alarming, what Corker said elsewhere in the interview may end up having more of an impact, because it opens the door to a whole new round of press scrutiny of the GOP’s ongoing enabling of Trump. Corker confirmed that most Senate Republicans view Trump as, well, dangerous and crazy : Mr. Trump poses such an acute risk, the senator said, that a coterie of senior administration
officials must protect him from his own instincts. 'I know for a fact that every single day at the White House, it’s a situation of trying to contain him,' Mr. Corker said in a telephone interview....Without offering specifics, he said Mr. Trump had repeatedly undermined
diplomacy with his Twitter fingers. 'I know he has hurt, in several instances, he’s hurt us as it relates to negotiations that were underway by tweeting things out,' Mr. Corker said. All but inviting his colleagues to join him in speaking out about the President, Mr. Corker said his concerns about Mr. Trump were shared by nearly every Senate Republican. 'Look, except for a few people, the vast majority of our caucus understands what we’re dealing with here,' he said, adding that 'of course they understand the volatility that we’re dealing with and the tremendous amount of work that it takes by people around him to keep him in the middle of the road.' ” • Got that??? "Keep him in the middle of the road." Elsewhere in the NYT interview, Corker declined to answer when asked if he believes Trump is unfit for the presidency. But, Sargent answered for Corker : "the only reasonable way to read all these comments is as a declaration that Trump is indeed unfit -- and that most Republicans know it. After all, Corker had previously said that Trump’s inner circle is helping to 'separate our country from chaos.' Now he has added that Trump needs to be restrained by his inner circle from devolving into conduct that could end up unleashing untold global destruction -- and that most Republicans know it." • Restrained from what?? From moving to the right of the "center of the road." And that conservative red flag to the ProgDem Left and its propagandsit MSM means only one thing. Sargent expressed it : "But whatever Corker says and does now, his new comments should precipitate a fundamental change in the way the press treats the ongoing GOP enabling of Trump. Corker has forced out into the open the fact that Republicans recognize the sheer abnormality and danger to the country of the situation we’re in, which opens the door for much tougher media questioning of them about their awareness of -- and acquiescence to -- this state of affairs. This can start with a simple query : Do Republicans agree with Corker that Trump regularly needs to be constrained by his top advisors from engaging in conduct that threatens severe damage to the country and the world? If so, what are Republicans prepared to do about it?" Most Republicans are prepared to support Trump -- about 85% of them. The NYT just can't be bothered with statistics that get in the way of their agenda. • • • ARE THE PROGRESSIVES REALLY A MODERN MACBETH? In Shakespeare's tragedy of Macbeth, the 'Progressive' Three Witches (read that 'the media') gather on the moor on a dark stromy night to call on the Powers of the Dark to destroy the Good Guy -- Macduff (read that 'Trump') -- who is preventing Macbeth from ruling over Macduff's Power of the Light. The story of Macbeth is one of treason and deceit and murder -- Lady Macbeth, having convinced her husband to kill good King Duncan so he can be king himself, sees that Macbeth is not tough enough for the job. She says : "What cannot you and I perform upon The unguarded Duncan?" Macbeth, left alone, sees the image of a dagger floating in the air, and says "Thou sure and firm-set earth, Hear not my steps, which way they walk, for fear Thy very stones prate of my whereabout, And take the present horror from the time, Which now suits with it. Whiles I threat, he lives : Words to the heat of deeds too cold breath gives. I go, and it is done; the bell invites me. Hear it not, Duncan; for it is a knell That summons thee to heaven or to hell." Macbeth murders Duncan and then kills the guards, whom he later blames for the murder of the king. When Macduff confronts the murder scene, he realizes there is more to the tale than Macbeth's simple statement that his horror led him to kill the guards, so Macduff flees to save himself from Duncan's fate until he can unravel the details of the murder. Later, Banquo, another nobleman, appears at a banquet to celebrate Macbeth's being crowned king, and says : "Thou hast it now : king, Cawdor, Glamis, all, As the weird women promised, and, I fear, Thou play'dst most foully for't: yet it was said It should not stand in thy posterity, But that myself should be the root and father Of many kings. If there come truth from them..." Banquo's presence unnerves Macbeth, who realizes that the Three Witches' were right to say that Macbeth would be king but that Banquo's sons would be kings after Macbeth's barren reign. Macbeth utters a famous lament : "To be thus is nothing; But to be safely thus. -- Our fears in Banquo Stick deep; and in his royalty of nature Reigns that which would be fear'd : 'tis much he dares; And, to that dauntless temper of his mind, He hath a wisdom that doth guide his valour To act in safety. There is none but he Whose being I do fear: and, under him, My Genius is rebuked....For Banquo's issue have I defiled my mind; For them the gracious Duncan have I murder'd...Only for them...To make them kings, the seed of Banquo kings!" So, Macbeth sends the paid murderers to kill Banquo. But, Macbeth becomes mad because of remorse for his evil acts, sees the ghost of Banquo, as he had seen the dagger, and fears that the world has become one he cannot control. Lady Macbeth tries to calm her hiusband, but he has lost his sanity. She says : "Nought's had, all's spent, Where our desire is got without content : 'Tis safer to be that which we destroy Than by destruction dwell in doubtful joy." The Three Witches are confronted by Hecate, the head Witch, who rebukes them for meddling in the affair of Duncan and Macbeth. She tells the Three Witches dance around the cauldron and create a spell to un-do their previous misdeed. It's the famous "Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble" scene. The Three Witches trick Macbeth into believing that he will defeat Macduff by promising him that no man born of woman will ever kill him. Macbeth then sends the paid murderes to kill Macduff's wife and son. In the final scene, when the two men are fighting a duel to the death, Macbeth is told that Lady Macbeth has died. But, sure of himself because of the Three Witches' trickery, Macbeth, during the fight, tells Macduff why he cannot win -- and Macduff responds : "Despair thy charm; And let the angel whom thou still hast served Tell thee, Macduff was from his mother's womb Untimely ripp'd." Macbeth loses all hope : "Accursed be that tongue that tells me so...And be these juggling fiends no more believed, That palter with us in a double sense; That keep the word of promise to our ear, And break it to our hope. I'll not fight with thee." Macduff is ready for the fight : "Then yield thee, coward, And live to be the show and gaze o' the time: We'll have thee, as our rarer monsters are, Painted on a pole, and underwrit, 'Here may you see the tyrant.' " • We can see in Macbeth the evil and treasonous attempts of the Progressive Democrat Left to unseat the legally elected President, Donald Trump. And, in Macduff, we see Trump and his supporters never willing to surrender to evil, ready to fight to the end for the Republic and against "the tyrant." • Shakespeare is always ready with the tale that explains our world to us. • • • THE EVILS OF THE PROGRESSIVE LEFT. • The Washington Post reported a scoop that Google has now uncovered evidence that Russian agents spent tens of thousands of dollars on ads across its platforms designed to spread disinformation in 2016 : "The discovery by Google is also significant because the ads do not appear to be from the same Kremlin-affiliated troll farm that bought ads on Facebook -- a sign that the Russian effort to spread disinformation online may be a much broader problem than Silicon Valley companies have unearthed so far....The President of the United States continues to dismiss any talk of Russian sabotage of our election as a hoax, making it harder to prepare for more of it in the future." Another WP lie about Trump -- who had nothing to do with any alleged Russian intervention in the 2016 election process, and GOP Senator Burr of the Senate Intelligence Committee now says he has "verifiable" proof that Trump had nothing to do it. • The WP and the rest of the MSM attacked Vice President Pence walking out of an Indianapolis Colts game last Sunday after players took a knee. Progressive caterwaulers, like CNN, have lost the battle with those who respect the Flag and the National Anthem, so they tally up the cost. Here is CNN's "calculation" : "According to the Air Force, flying a C-32, the model of plane used for Air Force 2, for one hour
costs about $30,000. Pence’s flight from Las Vegas to Indianapolis Saturday took about three hours and 20 minutes, so it cost about $100,000. Pence then flew from Indianapolis to Los Angeles on Sunday, which took about four hours and 45 minutes, costing about $142,500.The grand total: about $242,500. Some will be reimbursed by the Republican National Committee, but this doesn’t even include advance costs. Small price to pay to make Trump feel like he is thrilling his base." And -- we ask -- where were the cries over Obama's golf trips, his million dollar vacations in Hawaii, his wife's 29-member office, her around-the-world trips with the girls and her mother, ostensibly on "official business" -- more than $110 million -- but from the ProgDems -- Nada!! • Fox News reported on October 4 that hidden donors to a prominent anti-Trump "resistance" organization were revealed in unredacted tax forms obtained by the Washington Free Beacon : "The Center for Community Change, a Washington, DC-based 501 (c)(3) progressive community organizing group that does not reveal its donors, has been involved in direct action against President Donald Trump and Republicans before and after the November elections. The organization's members sit on the boards of other prominent liberal activist groups. The Free Beacon says the "resistance" orgnaization appears to rely heavily on a few major liberal foundations, organizations, and unions. The Center for Community Change's largest contribution was $3,000,000 from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, which was initially created by Will Kellogg, the food manufacturer and founder of Kellogg Company. The Ford Foundation added a $2,350,000 donation. The Open Society Foundation, a foundation run by liberal billionaire mega-donor George Soros, gave $1,750,000 to the Center for Community Change. Other donors to the organization include the California Endowment, which gave $524,500; the Marquerite Casey Foundation, which gave $515,000; Fidelity Charitable Gift, which donated $505,100; and the National Immigration Law Center, which gave $316,000." These Swamp supporters are everywhere and it is high time that a conservative think tank gives Trump supporters a
list that will enable us to refrain from buying the products and services of these 'hidden' Progressives who use us as cash cows. •
Townhall reported on Monday that California Governor Jerry Brown signed legislation last Friday that lowers the punishment for people who knowingly donate HIV-infected blood. The law also applies to LGBT persons who knowingly expose a sexual partner to HIV without telling them. SB 239 changes both from a felony -- and possibly manslaughter charges depending on the facts of each case -- to a misdemeanor, with the penalty reduced from up to eight years in prison to a maximum of six months. Democratic state Senator Scott Wiener and Assemblyman Todd Gloria, coauthors the legislation, argued that modern medicine has changed the lifespan of HIV-infected persons and nearly eliminates the chance of transmission. Wiener said : “Today California took a major step toward treating HIV as a public health issue, instead of treating people living with HIV as criminals. HIV should be treated like all other serious infectious diseases, and that’s what SB 239 does.” Supporters of the change said the current law requires an intent to transmit HIV to justify a felony, but others noted cases have been prosecuted where there was no physical contact, so there was an argument intent was lacking. Brown declined to comment on his action. HIV has been the only communicable disease for which exposure is a felony under California law. The current law may convince people not to be tested for HIV, because without a test they cannot be charged with a felony if they expose a partner to the infection. We are going to end new HIV infections, and we will do so not by threatening people with state prison time, but rather by getting people to test and providing them access to care." Supporters of the bill said women engaging in prostitution are disproportionately targeted with criminal charges, even in cases where the infection is not transmitted, according to the LA Times. Townhall, which reported the California move, wrote : "Republicans pushed back on the law, pointing out that it has the potential to increase the number of HIV infections since 75% of people on prescriptions in the US don’t take their medicine according to their doctor’s orders. 'If you don't take your AIDS medications and you allow for some virus to duplicate and show a presence, then you are able to transmit that disease to an unknowing partner,' state Senator Jeff Stone, who opposed the bill, said on the Senate floor. Republican state Senator Joel Anderson, who also voted against the bill, called the
legislation irresponsible. 'I’m of the mind that if you purposefully inflict another with a disease that alters their lifestyle the rest of their life, puts them on a regimen of medications to maintain any kind of normalcy, it should be a felony,' Anderson said during the floor
debate. 'It’s absolutely crazy to me that we should go light on this.' " Another LA LA LAND legislative action that places its citizens at
risk but gives them no serious means of redress. • Townhall also reported on Monday that ultra-anti-gun Senator Dianne Feinstein --
of California -- told CBS Face the Nation on Sunday, when asked by John Dickerson : "Could there have been any law passed that would've stopped him?" that "No, he passed background checks registering for handguns and other weapons on multiple occasions." This could cost Feinstein who also announced that at 84 -- 84 -- she is running for another term as Senator in 2018. It’s very clear that none of the proposals on the Democrat agenda would stop mass shootings. The New York Times’ Nicholas Kristof wrote a piece listing the ‘do a lot of stuff that will do absolutely nothing.’ He went on about background checks, smart gun technology, safe storage, etc. -- it’s all about the cumulative effect. Townhall said that voters : "know the Democratic agenda on guns ends with bans and confiscation. Passing more background checks or even little things, like this bump stock ban, is one step closer to making that argument legitimate. It’s the road to the end of the Second Amendment. ‘Mr. Republican Senator, you supported banning bump stocks, which merely use the recoil to increase the rate of fire, so then why not support a ban on high-capacity magazines?’ Knowing the GOP, they wouldn’t be able to argue their way out of this, and the rollercoaster ride of horrors begins. If you give an anti-gun liberal an inch, they take several hundred miles. They simply cannot be trusted. On the other hand, California Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein is making a good argument for us in the sense that no new law would have stopped Paddock. He bought his guns legally, he passed background checks, he had no history of mental illness, and he had no criminal record. Oh, and contrary to popular belief, it’s not a crime, nor is it odd, for an American to own multiple firearms. Feinstein admitted this fact on CBS’ Face The Nation Sunday, though she said some law had to be passed....Democrats are going to spend an unusual amount of time on this issue (again). They’re going to lose (again). And they’re going to provide us with an immense amount of fundraising material and helpful reminder for why Republicans need to vote this year and the 2018 midterms to prevent Democrats from chipping away at our Second Amendment rights. Unlike the gun control crowd, gun rights voters are animated. They vote. And they don’t forget. At the same time, it’s frustrating to deal with the nonsensical crap from the media, who continue to fail miserably when reporting on gun laws." That's
right -- the Founders meant it when they wrote into the Second Amendment that "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." • • • DEAR READERS, is it any wonder that Massachusetts Democrat Congressman Seth Moulton appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe recently to pretty much reiterate what his Michigan colleague, Debbie Dingell, has been saying for months -- the Democrat Party has to listen to voters again. The wounds of the 2016 campaign are being re-opened thanks to Hillary Clinton’s new book, What Happened. She takes swipes at Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, the media, Barack Obama, James Comey, and sexism for torpedoing her presidential hopes. It’s something the Democrats don't need right now, but alas for them -- it happened. The divisions between the establishment and Progressive wings of the party have been re-emphasized. Moulton told MSNBC that he feels the Democrat Party hasn’t learned anything from 2016, and that a true self-evaluation is still absent. He knows the game, says Townhall quotes Moulton : "The GOP controls the White House, Congress, two-thirds of the governorships, and 69/99 state legislatures. The party is in its worst shape since the 1920s. It’s not a national party. It’s not in a position to become a governing party....If we don’t realize that we are partly to blame for that; that we’ve lost touch with a lot of American voters; we’ve lost touch with a lot of voters who used to be on our side -- then, we’re not going to be able to move forward,' “ • Michigan Representative Dingell also said that to a certain degree, especially when it comes to the white working class bloc that killed Clinton in the general election. Dingell said that Michigan was in play -- her party thought she was nuts. Trump would go on to win the state. She knows these workers, and she saw how Trump resonated with them. They’re concerned about jobs, not Russia. She also lamented how identity politics has hijacked her party, which has widened the gap between the Democrat Party and everyone else. She also said she gets
mad when people say that Trump supporters are racist. She knows better; they’re not. Townhall concluded : "Moulton and Dingell may have the right ideas on how to get their party back on track. The issue is whether the rest of the Democrat Party wants to follow because this involves reaching out to Trump voters and other slices of the white working class demographic. The people who feel left behind. The people who voted for Obama twice and then flipped for Trump. There’s the insufferable urban-based professional wing of the Democrat Party that hates these people, doesn’t care about them, and thinks they’re relics of an older world, and yes -- racist. In reality, they’re just hard-working Americans looking for ways to provide for their families. My guess is that the vast majority of liberals don’t think they’re out of touch; it’s just that the rest of us are wrong. That’s fine. They’ll keep losing. There’s also an empathy gap with Democrats. And yes, until they recognize it -- and much else -- they’ll remain constrained to their urban strongholds, which isn’t enough to win national elections." • So, let Senator Corker go down in flames, along with any other Republican stupid enough to publicly agree with him. President Trump is taking control of the GOP and is Draining the Swamp, and that's what the #NeverTrump GOP elites are scared stiff about. His agenda is America's agenda. His goals are America's goals. MAGA is the clarion call for all conservatives.

Hopefully the very soon to be EX-Senator Corker is just plain out of step with his own constitutes. But with the majority of Main Street Americans (MSA) that each and every day face a mountain of government interventions that are against them ever really succeeding, and constantly have their hands in their pockets for more and more entitlement programs for they lay in bed crowd that wouldn't understand the requirements of freedom and less government if it bit them on their leg.
ReplyDeleteThere is US, and then there is THEM. Them are the Swamp People from Foggy Bottom in Washington D.C. Exactly what they do, and why they did it is far beyond me. They represent themselves - both sides of the aisle that separate Republicans and Democrats in the great halls of Congress.
That aisle runs North and South, but should be East and West. Because it separates them from us, and not Republican from Democrats.
As elected officials they don't answer to us, but rather they lie to us daily as they travel from one election cycle to the next. Their job security is not accomplishments, but rather unsupportive logic in what they pretend to do for the America people. What they do is for them, not us.
And friends Senator Corker has pick the wrong one on one match with President Trump. He has already lost. He has lost his way and he doesn't have a road map to get back on the Highway. All he sees is in his rear view mirror emptiness. But he continues driving down the side of the road hoping for assistance from his fellow elected friends. But Senator there is no help coming. Your abandoned, just as you abandoned your promises and principals.
