Dr. Corsi Is Being Subjected to an Inquisition, and Michael Cohen Copped a Plea -- But there is NO EVIDENCE that President Trump "Colluded" with the Russians
TODAY WE LOOK AT PRESIDENT TRUMP'S RISING POLL AND AT DR. CORSI'S UNBENDING RESPECT FOR THE LAW. First, the poll. • • • PRESIDENT TRUMP'S APPROVAL RATING IS UP. Newsmax reported on Monday that President Trump's approval rating rose to 46% from 44% in October, according to a Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey released exclusively to TheHill on Monday. Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll co-director Mark Penn said : "Trump's numbers show an uptick as voters continue to give him credit on the economy and battling terrorism successfully. His job approval and the basic numbers have been stable over the last few months." • Other results from the survey show : 52% of registered voters believe the country is on the wrong track, while 40% believe it is headed in the right direction, and 8% are undecided....70% say the economy is strong today, but only 47% say it is on the right track, a slight decrease from the past two months. The Republican Party's approval has slightly increased to 43%, but 57% still disapprove and the Democrat Party's approval ratings have gone up since the November midterms to 46%, with 54% disapproving. The poll found that 67% of voters are satisfied with the outcome of the mid-terms. Among Democrats, 79% are happy, while 58% of
Republicans are also content with the outcome of the mid-terms. Only 33% of Democrats want House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to be House Speaker, while 67% prefer someone new. The survey of 1,407 registered voters was conducted November 27-28. • The poll is a representative online sample and does not report a probability confidence interval. With that in mind, we might add that it is very hard to believe that 58% of Republicans were "content" with the outcome of the mid-term elections. • • • DR. CORSI SAYS MUELLER HAS A "PRE-DETERMINED THEORY." Newsmax interviewed Dr. Jerome Corsi on Monday on the same day he filed a criminal and ethics complaint against special counsel Robert Mueller's team. The conservative author Dr. Corsi told Newsmax TV he hoped no other American would ever again "suffer through the horror show...that I've had to suffer....I'm doing it because I don't want any other American to suffer through the horror show with Mueller that I've had to suffer." • Corsi, author of "Killing The Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump," asserted "what the special prosecutor is trying to do is to criminalize normal political action." Corsi charged the Mueller team with having a "predetermined theory going into" the investigation of Russia meddling and possible collusions between the Trump campaign and Moscow : "They're only looking for...so-called facts that fit a 'predetermined theory.'....I've never spoken to [Wikileaks found Julian] Assange. I've never communicated with them. I didn't have any intermediary. I did, in fact, through a process of deduction...[project] that, in fact, Assange had [Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John] Podesta's emails...I figured out. And the special prosecutor wouldn't believe that, badgered me, ridiculed me, called me names, insulted my publications, insulted my intelligence. Suggested I needed a psychiatrist -- all because I wouldn't give them the information they wanted to fit in their predetermined narrative, and I will not do that. I won't lie." • Dr. Corsi has also also pushed back at attempts to engage him in a fight with Roger Stone, a longtime ally of President Trump : "I'm not going to do it. Roger Stone is the authority over what Roger Stone perceived -- I am not going to argue or dispute with him." • Larry Klayman, Freedom Watch co-founder, told Newsmax TV that
"Mueller Should Be 'Disbarred.' " Klayman has filed a lawsuit that claims special counsel Robert Mueller and his team broke the law by
urging Jerome Corsi to lie so Mueller could make his case. On Monday, Klayman discussed with Newsmax TV the lawsuit filed with the office of Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker. • • • MUELLER IS TRYING TO CONNECT PRESIDENT TRUMP TO ANY RUSSIA CONTACT OR ATTEMPTED CONTACT MADE BY ANYONE. That is the conclusion that Canada Free Press made in a Sunday article that stated : "What they really wanted -- a connection between the DNC server breach, Wikileaks, Roger Stone, anyone within the Donald Trump campaign, and ultimately, President Donald Trump." The Canada Free Press article, written by Doug Hagmann, goes on to say that : "I know Dr. Jerome Corsi personally and can assure readers that he is NOT suicidal. Please note the emphasis on the 'NOT.' Oh, and neither am I. It’s sad that in America today such a 'disclaimer' is advisable, even if it is done somewhat tongue-in-cheek (or perhaps not). Considering the statistical anomalies surrounding the mortality rates of whistleblowers, witnesses and others related to certain members of the 'Deep State' and their operatives, it just seemed appropriate to write. Now that the obligatory formalities are complete, I wish to share with you a story of political persecution in America taking place in real time by the front-line offense of the Deep State or the permanent bureaucracy doing the dirty work of the seemingly untouchable elite." Hagmann tells a story : "Earlier this year and only a few short months before Special Counsel Robert Mueller began his campaign of harassment and intimidation against my friend and professional colleague Dr. Jerome Corsi, we shared breakfast at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. We spoke about a number of things, including the ongoing assault against President Donald Trump by what is
commonly referenced as the 'Deep State.' Our breakfast conversation was sobering as we discussed a number of things, including his most recent book, Killing The Deep State, and the blowback it was causing. Dr. Corsi is a Harvard educated Ph.D., a well-known investigative journalist and a prolific author. He has authored 20 books since 2004, including two New York Times bestsellers. It is interesting to note that the information contained in one book in particular, written by Dr. Corsi and published on May 17, 2011 titled Where’s The Birth Certificate? would apparently become relevant to the questioning he was forced to endure by Aaron Zelinsky, one of Robert Mueller’s 'angry Democrats' and not
coincidentally, a former assistant US attorney under Rod Rosenstein. Also lacking in coincidence, perhaps, is that Zelinsky is a staunch
Democrat and a frequent contributor to the Leftist publication Huffington Post. In addition to Aaron Zelinsky, Dr. Corsi was subjected to
interrogation, ridicule and was even mocked as detailed in a recent hit piece published in The Rolling Stone by Jeannie Rhee, a former Deputy Attorney General under Obama and a die-hard Hillary Clinton supporter. Even more disturbing and ironic is that Rhee was Hillary Clinton’s lawyer just three years ago, representing her in her legal e-mail troubles." • Hagmann says that when he shared with Dr. Corsi his thoughts about what might be on the horizon for anyone daring enough to take on the Democratic-Socialists embedded inside American government, noting the "blowback Corsi was experiencing -- which I posited was payback for not just his latest book, but his years of shining the searing spotlight of truth on many high-profile denizens of the DC swamp. He said nothing to suggest that he disagreed. One thing that seemed certain during our time together is that much greater political payback seemed to be in the offing. And it was. In spades. Dr. Corsi had already been under attack for what he had already accomplished, exposing the criminality of the members of the permanent state who protect their own, regardless of political party. The public will likely never know the price he’s already paid for his investigative tenacity, for he is too much of a gentleman to tell. Those who know him and who are familiar with the tactics of the Deep State, however, know the price is high and the toll it takes, personally and professionally." • Hagmann says he had "no idea just how difficult things would become for Dr. Corsi. Just three days before his 72nd birthday this year, Dr. Jerome Corsi was subpoenaed by the Mueller Special Counsel. According to published reports, the Special Counsel was searching for emails that would link Dr. Corsi to Julian Assange and Roger Stone that somehow affected the outcome of the 2016 Presidential election in favor of President Trump." Hagmann states that : "Robert Mueller was appointed as Special Counsel by Rod
Rosenstein to investigate alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 Presidential election. The former FBI Director assumed that role on May 17, 2017 and immediately assembled his team of 18 attorneys, occasionally referred to as 'angry Democrats' by President Trump. The political and ideological conflicts of the Muller team -- and Mueller himself -- to act as an objective body are undeniable to everyone except the Left. So, how is it possible that Dr. Jerome Corsi, who has never been to Russia, has never knowingly or wittingly been in contact with any Russian spy, operative or agent, has never had any contact with Julian Assange of Wikileaks was subpoenaed by 'Team Mueller?' More importantly, how is it possible that this well-respected and lifelong law-abiding 72-year-old Harvard educated Ph.D. is suddenly being accused of lying under oath to federal investigators? The short answer is expertly illustrated in yet another book by Ms. Sidney Powell titled Licensed To Lie, Exposing Corruption In The Department of Justice. Although former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell and her book are unrelated to Dr. Corsi or his current situation, she is the person credited with originating the phrase 'creeps on a mission' as it refers to Robert Mueller, a prosecutor accused of 'mission creep' by far exceeding his investigative mandate and the Machiavellian tactics used against his targets. Her book details a disturbing pattern of persecution rather than prosecution by some of the same DOJ officials all too familiar to us." • • • THE CORSI INQUISITION AT THE HANDS OF MUELLER. A longer answer to the question about how Dr. Corsi became Robert Mueller’s latest political victim began with a simple email that became a short email thread. Hagmann says : "The initial email was sent by political strategist Roger Stone
to Dr. Corsi on or about July 25, 2016, pertaining to Julian Assange of Wikileaks and the breach of the DNC server, including Clinton
and Clinton Foundations related emails. Upon learning that Roger Stone queried Dr. Corsi about Wikileaks possession of the DNC emails, Dr. Corsi was contacted by the Special Counsel about his knowledge of the DNC emails, including and especially emails to and from Hillary Clinton confidante and campaign manager John Podesta. The email from Roger Stone to Dr. Corsi was over two-years old when Mueller’s prosecutors confronted Dr. Corsi about it, was one of many thousands of emails he voluntarily provided to the Special Counsel. Despite deleting this and countless other emails long-ago to free up his system and retire the computer that had broken down, he assisted in retrieving the emails from the 'time capsule' he used as a back-up. Clearly, Dr. Corsi was willing to cooperate as he had nothing to hide. In fact, rather than immediately using Bleach-Bit to erase his data or using a hammer to smash his devices [as Hillary did], he willingly provided investigators with his laptop computer, back-up 'time machine' hard drive that archived all of his computer activity dating back to 2015, as well as his cellphone. He also gave investigators all of his usernames and passwords to all of his email and social media accounts, and his Verizon cell and text message accounts. Dr. Corsi even assisted the FBI and Special Counsel investigators in downloading his emails and postings. After providing his hardware and communications, he began speaking with investigators on or about September 18, 2018. His cooperation sparked an inquisition that lasted some 40 hours over the span of two months. It involved three of Mueller’s top prosecutors and an army of FBI agents, up to nine government officials at a time, who questioned Dr. Corsi with his attorney, David Gray. On the very first day of questioning and without the ability (or given the opportunity) to reference his 2016 communications, Dr. Corsi asserts that he simply forgot about the email exchange in question. When given the opportunity to review the correspondence, he immediately corrected the record with the team of prosecutors. They were seemingly satisfied until Dr. Corsi could not legitimately give them what they really wanted -- a connection between the DNC server breach, Wikileaks, Roger Stone, anyone within the Donald Trump campaign, and ultimately President Donald Trump. It was an
investigation in search of a crime -- any crime -- that would serve to destroy a duly elected President, and Dr. Corsi suddenly found
himself in the middle of it." • Hagmann explains that : "When the prosecutors realized that Dr. Corsi had nothing of value to provide,
things got uglier. They were no longer satisfied with his explanation that he simply forgot the two-year-old email exchange and threatened him with felony perjury charges and potentially a lengthy prison sentence. In fact, a prison sentence that could amount to life in prison considering his age and overall health, the latter obviously impacted by the weight of unchecked government harassment. He could, however, make his life much easier by signing a plea deal admitting that he lied under oath to investigators. Investigators made it clear to Dr. Corsi that by refusing to capitulate and plead to a lie, he was facing potential felony charges, financial ruin to the point of personal bankruptcy and imprisonment. Stated differently, Special Counsel Mueller and his crew of Clinton confidantes and Deep State hacks were serving up a heaping helping of political payback for Dr. Corsi’s decades-long work of exposing Deep State corruption." • The inquisition which Dr. Corsi described as worthy of "the Gestapo or KGB" included this episode detailed by Hagmann : "During the course of his investigation of the Wikileaks-DNC-Podesta matter, Dr. Corsi had determined that Assange was withholding the emails to and from John Podesta that Corsi reasoned would be released at a more strategic time -- in late October 2016. It was a deduction based on his extensive research and investigation, a fact that Mueller’s top investigators, including and especially Clinton friend Jeannie Rhee, found too bitter a pill to swallow. It was here that Dr. Corsi’s research and investigative acumen and arguably, his Christian faith was openly mocked. As previously noted, an article published by The Rolling Stone on November 29, 2018, titled "Jerome Corsi Doesn’t Understand Why Mueller Isn’t Accepting His ‘Divine Intervention’ Defense" ridiculed Dr. Corsi for using his decades-long experience in investigative journalism to outsmart and overshadow Mueller’s 'best.' It became obvious to Dr. Corsi that he was the latest in the crosshairs of a desperate, rogue and out-of-control Special Counsel that is 'completely rigged and politically driven.' " • Despite the extreme anguish to himself and his family, the incessant ridicule by a complicit media, and facing financial ruin and the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison because he 'will not plead to a lie,' Dr. Corsi is refusing to back down, instead, he is going on the offensive. He’s filing charges against the special counsel and has documented the hell he’s endured by the permanent state’s weaponized Department of 'Justice' in a forthcoming book, "Silent No More: How I Became a Political Prisoner of Mueller’s 'Witch Hunt'." In this new book, Dr. Corsi states : "Rather than conducting an honest investigation, Mueller’s Special Prosecutors reinforced a prefabricated narrative aiming to charge President Trump with Treason.” His book “exposes the
inner workings of this governmental escapade, and clearly states why Mueller has no case against the President." In the book, Dr. Corsi creates a compelling case for his conclusion that the entire matter is an investigation in search of a crime -- to force lying testimony from witnesses if that’s what it takes to achieve Deep State political objectives. • The Canada Free Press's Doug Hagmann tells his readers to "remember" that Dr. Corsi is "not prone to suicide" -- the inference being that Dr. Corsi's life may be in danger. • • • MUELLER ACCUSED OF WITHHOLDING EXCULPATORY EVIDENCE IN DEAL WITH COHEN. The Gateway Pundit's Jim Hoft wrote on Monday that journalist Paul Sperry says Robert Mueller withheld evidence from the court that would exonerate President Trump from the latest accusations of Russian collusion during the 2016 election. Gateway Pundit's Hoft wrote : "Contrary to media speculation that Robert Mueller is closing in on President Trump, the special prosecutor’s plea deal with Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen offers further evidence that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russians during the 2016 election, according to congressional investigators and former prosecutors. Cohen pleaded guilty last week to making false statements in 2017 to the Senate intelligence committee about the Trump Organization’s failed efforts to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.
Discussions about the so-called Moscow Project continued five months longer in 2016 than Cohen had initially stated under oath. The nine-page charging document filed with the plea deal suggests that the special counsel is using the Moscow tower talks to connect Trump to Russia. But congressional investigators with House and Senate committees leading inquiries on the Russia question told RealClearInvestigations that it looks like Mueller withheld from the court details that would exonerate the President. They made this assessment in light of the charging document, known as a statement of 'criminal information' and filed instead of an indictment when a defendant agrees to plead guilty....On page 7 of the statement of criminal information filed against Cohen, which is separate from but related to the plea agreement, Mueller mentions that Cohen tried to email Russian President Vladimir Putin’s office on January 14, 2016, and again on January 16, 2016. But, Mueller, who personally signed the document, omitted the fact that Cohen did not have any direct points of contact at the Kremlin, and had resorted to sending the emails to a general press mailbox. Sources who have seen these additional emails point out that this omitted information undercuts the idea of a 'back channel' and thus the special counsel’s collusion case....Page 2 of the same criminal information document holds additional exculpatory evidence for Trump, sources say. It quotes an August, 2017, letter from Cohen to the Senate intelligence committee in which he states that Trump 'was never in contact with anyone about this [Moscow Project] proposal other than me.' This section of Cohen’s written testimony, unlike other parts, is not disputed as false by Mueller, which sources say means prosecutors have tested its veracity through corroborating sources and found it to be accurate. Also notable, Mueller did not challenge Cohen’s statement that he 'ultimately determined that the proposal was not
feasible and never agreed to make a trip to Russia.'....'Though Cohen may have lied to Congress about the dates,' one Hill investigator
said, 'it's clear from personal messages he sent in 2015 and 2016 that the Trump Organization did not have formal lines of communication set up with Putin’s office or the Kremlin during the campaign. There was no secret ‘back channel.’ 'So as far as collusion goes,' the source added, 'the project is actually more exculpatory than incriminating for Trump and his campaign.' ” • Hoft states : "Cohen’s dealings with a go-between, New York real estate developer Felix Sater, bear some resemblance to the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting between Trump campaign officials and Russian figures -- a meeting arranged by a British concert promoter. Both instances indicate that no one on the Trump side, including the candidate, enjoyed special access to the Russian government. Cohen’s emails and text messages indicate he failed to establish communications with the Russian leader’s spokesman, although he eventually was able to make contact with a desk secretary in the spokesman’s office. In the end, neither Putin nor any Kremlin official was directly involved in the scuttled Moscow project, sources say. Moreover, neither Cohen nor Trump traveled to Moscow in support of the deal, as Sater had urged. No meetings with Russian government officials took place. It was Sater, a Russian immigrant with a checkered past, representing the Bayrock Group and not the Trump Organization, who came up with the tower project idea in 2015. His pitch had more to do with branding than real estate : Trump would lend his name to the tower project and share in the profits, but not actually build it or go into debt for it. But the project never went anywhere because Sater didn’t have the pull with Putin he claimed to have. Emails and texts indicate that Sater could only offer Cohen access to one of his acquaintances, who was an acquaintance of
someone else who was partners in a real estate development with a friend of Putin’s. Talks broke off in June 2016. Trump publicly stated seven months later, just days before his inauguration, that his company has never had any real estate holdings in Russia. Nothing in Mueller’s latest filings dispute that assertion. Sources say Sater, whom Cohen described as a 'salesman,' testified to the House intelligence panel in late 2017 that his communications with Cohen about putting Trump and Putin on a stage for a 'ribbon-cutting' for a Trump Tower in Moscow were 'mere puffery' to try to promote the project and get it off the ground. Also according to his still-undisclosed testimony, Sater swore none of those communications involved taking any action to influence the 2016 presidential election. None of the emails and texts between Sater and Cohen mention Russian plans or efforts to hack Democrats’ campaign emails or influence the election." • • • DEAR READERS, Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said the criminal-information statement of offense against Michael Cohen reflects political bias. He said the special counsel appears more interested in trying to draw connections to Russia than highlighting exculpatory evidence : "Mueller seems desperate to confuse Americans by conflating the cancelled and legitimate Russia business venture with the Russia collusion theory he was actually hired to investigate. This is a transparent attempt to try to embarrass the President. The plea deal is weak tea and I suspect, given Mueller’s track record, that there’s even less here than meets the eye." • CNN Fake News thinks it has the Cohen-Kremlin-Trump "collusion" saga all pieced together -- CNN said the charging documents, which reference the President as “Individual 1," suggest Trump had a working relationship with Russia’s president and that "Putin had leverage over Trump" because of the project....CNN's Wolf Blitzer said : “Well
into the 2016 campaign, one of the president’s closest associates was in touch with the Kremlin on this project, as we now know, and Michael Cohen says he was lying about it to protect the President. Cohen was communicating directly with the Kremlin"....CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin said the development was so “enormous” that Trump “might not finish his term.” • And, Mother Jones got in line with CNN -- MSNBC pundit maintained the court papers prove “Trump secretly interacted with Putin’s own office. Now we have evidence that there was direct communication between the Trump Organization and Putin’s office on this. I mean, this is collusion,” said David Corn of Mother Jones, co-author of “Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin’s War on America and the Election of Donald Trump”....Adam Schiff, the incoming Democratic chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said Trump was dealing directly with Putin on real estate ventures, and Democrats will investigate whether Russians laundered money through the Trump Organization. • All pathetic ProgDem efforts to nail President Trump with anything Mueller put out as "evidence." Former federal prosecutors are not buying the ProgDem story. Former independent counsel Solomon L. Wisenberg said :“It doesn’t implicate President Trump in any way. The reality is, this is a nothing-burger." Criminal attorney and Harvard Law Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz agreed, arguing that Mueller is resorting to false-statement prosecutions in lieu of prosecutions related to his mandate of investigating the Trump campaign’s alleged participation in a Russian plot to interfere in the election -- signaling he lacks the evidence to support such a criminal conspiracy. “We are seeing many of these cases being built around false statements,” Dershowitz pointed
out, not the underlying crime that has been alleged by Democrats and the media. • We should be finished with having to say this by
now -- but here it is --there is NO EVIDENCE. Mueller, now in his 18th month of the probe, has nabbed several Trump associates for process crimes -- making false statements, and other felonies, such as tax fraud -- BUT no evidence has surfaced in any of the cases indicating that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election. FBI agents raided Cohen’s office early this spring to seize evidence, and prosecutors have spent the last several months sifting through his emails, texts and phone and travel records, as well as audio recordings he allegedly made of conservations with Trump. They have found NO EVIDENCE. Absent from any of the criminal-information document is any corroboration of the highly inflammatory and often-cited allegation made in the Fake Steele Dossier, funded by the Clinton campaign, that Cohen visited Prague to clandestinely meet with Kremlin officials in August 2016 to arrange “deniable cash payments to hackers who had worked in Europe under Kremlin direction against the Clinton campaign.” Cohen has strenuously denied the allegation and offered his passport to show “I have never been to Prague in my life.” • Repeat after me -- THERE IS NO EVIDENCE.
