Democrat Losers at Work Blaming Russia for Trump's Win

President-Elect Trump, in a “Fox News Sunday” interview, labeled as “ridiculous” a reported CIA assessment that Russia intervened in the election to help him win. He described the claim as another “excuse” by Democrats to explain his upset victory : “We had a massive landslide victory, as you know, in the Electoral College.” While not criticizing President Obama, Trump questioned his intelligence agencies’ analysis of foreign cyber-interference in the election, rejecting their conclusions : "Nobody really knows....Once they hack, if you don't catch them in the act you're not going to catch them. They have no idea if it's Russia or China....It could be somebody sitting in a bed some place.” • • • Trump was referring to a Friday Washington Post report that the CIA had concluded in a secret assessment that Russia interfered in the race to boost Trump, not just undermine confidence in the system. Some analysts have objected to the use by the MSM of the "reported" "secret" CIA report that has only "anonymous" "unnamed" sources as support, without any CIA confirmation. Faced with Congress’s united push, Trump's top aides dismissed the report on Sunday. Kellyanne Conway told CBS "Face the Nation" there's no evidence the Russians intervened specifically to help Trump become President : "The President-Elect's point is that the conclusion some are making here, that the interference went to affecting the election results to try to defeat Hillary Clinton, that's what he's calling 'ridiculous.'" Conway called it "unfortunate and unfair," saying the country deserves a peaceful transition of power. In agreement was Trump Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, who also criticized the MSM for using unnamed sources in its reports about the CIA assessment. He reiterated that the Republican National Committee was not hacked. • • • But, some Democrat Senators warned on Sunday political shows about Russia’s meddling and blasted the President-Elect’s reaction. Senator Bernie Sanders called the allegations “very serious stuff. We’ve got to take a hard look at the role that the Russians played in this election process.” Senator Claire McCaskill said any attempt by Russia to meddle in the election would be a “form of warfare.” And Senator Ben Cardin warned that Russia is not a friend of the United States, telling CNN "State of the Union" : "We need to find out exactly what has happened. What we do know is that Russia hacked us. What we need to do is have that type of investigation to find out what we should do about Russia." That is an overstatement -- lie? -- because we don't know, and if US Intelligence knows, they aren't telling us. • • • And, now a bipartisan group of Senators has urged Congress to investigate the possible Russian interference in the election -- all because the Washington Post wrote last Friday that it had "uncovered" an as-yet unconfirmed "secret CIA assessment" concluding that Russia intervened in the presidential election. The WP revelation prompted Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Jack Reed and Charles Schumer to call for an investigation because the recent cyberattacks “have cut to the heart of of our free society." • • • Dear readers, the biggest overstatement of propagandist alarm came from CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Tuesday when he said : "The Electoral College should be briefed about this." Do we see the real reason for all the Democrat and MSM handwringing? Of course -- it is to steal the election from Trump by spooking the Electoral College into violating its duty to cast its votes for him -- all of them. John Podesta, Hillary’s campaign chairman, has joined the call from a group of Electoral College members that they be briefed on the secret findings of the intel community about Russian election meddling. Led by Christine Pelosi, daughter of House minority leader Nancy Pelosi, they hope the briefing will make GOP elector break from their state popular vote. Since the WP reported Friday that the CIA concluded Russia was trying to help Trump, “#revote has been active on the internet. • Democrat losers at work.
