Has Obama Decided to Trash America?

Karl Rove calls him the Fundraiser In Chief. Rove notes that since taking office, President Obama has attended almost 400 fundraising events. As de facto party leader, all Presidents raise political money. But Rove points out that Obama makes time for raising money for the Democrat Party no matter how pressing world or national affairs. Here are Rove's examples : (1). The afternoon following the September 11, 2012, murder of Ambassador Christopher Stevens in Libya, Mr. Obama went to a fundraiser in Las Vegas and a campaign appearance in Colorado. (2). As Russian troops stormed into the Crimea on Friday, February 28, 2014, Obama clinked his glass at a DNC fundraiser, declaring "this is now officially happy hour with the Democratic Party. I can do that. It s an executive action. I have the authority." (3). When Islamic terrorists captured Mosul, Iraq's second most populous city, and menaced Baghdad in mid-June, Obama did not stay in the Situation Room. He headed to a Laguna Beach, California, fundraiser where 25 people wrote checks of up to $32,400. (4). After raising money at an event for Senator Mark Udall in Colorado Tuesday - Udall bailed at the last minute, causing some to ask if Udall didn't want to be seen with the President - Obama completed a two-day fundraising swing through Texas, where he attended a barbecue at the palatial Dallas home of plaintiff attorney Marc Stanley (tickets cost as much as $32,400) with the money going to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Then the President flew to Austin for a fundraiser at the home of horror film director Robert Rodriquez. And on Thursday, Obama attended a roundtable fundraiser arranged by abortion activist Aimee Boone Cunningham, with the $32,400 tickets providing more funds for the Democratic National Committee. In all, President Obama has attended 393 fundraisers since taking office, according to CBS White House correspondent Mark Knoller, compared with George W. Bush's 216 at the same point in his presidency. What Obama did not find time for was to make a visit to South Texas to see the tragedy unfolding from a wave of illegal immigrants, many unaccompanied children. ~~~~~ But the Obama White House did find time to blame President George W. Bush for the illegal immigrant crisis because Bush signed a bill in December 2008 that gives additiona protections to minors who might be victims of sex trafficking to avoid being sent back to a pimp or madam. However, the Obama team is short on the fact side, as usual. According to US Customs and Border Protection, fewer than 4,000 unaccompanied Central American minors were apprehended each year over the past decade. Then, Obama halted deportations of some young illegals in June 2012 and the number of apprehensions jumped to 10,146 in that fiscal year. It then doubled to 20,805 last fiscal year and reached 39,133 by mid-June of this year. If President Bush started all this, why did it take until 3 1/2 years after he left office for the number of unaccompanied Central American to skyrocket? The truth is that the rush of child illegals began when Obama suspended enforcement of existing immigration laws before the 2012 election, a move that helped him win Hispanic votes. We now see the result of ignoring the nation's laws all along the US southern border. ~~~~~ Mary Matalin, who was campaign director for President George H. W. Bush, former assistant to President George W. Bush, and former chief counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney - and for many the most savvy of all GOP analysts - put the Obama problem into it proper terms this week. Matalin says "Obama has no soul." She notes that the President's refusal to visit the US-Texas border, while he had time for a beer drinking, pool-shooting session with the governor of Colorado, proves the Commander-in-chief has no soul, Mary Matalin says : "I've known and have worked with…many politicians and they have a soul. I keep looking for this man's soul and I can't find it. He has no empathy. There's no understanding. It's just, everything's a celebration of him or some self-consciousness-raising of him. It's like he's always laughing and beering around…I don't understand it.' Matalin says she has heard Obama's refusal to visit the border being compared to President George W. Bush's slow response to the devastation in New Orleans caused by Hurricane Katrina. "For the politicians [and] pundits who are saying this is Obama's Katrina, let me tell you something about his soul : to this day, George W. Bush and Laura Bush are still very, although quietly, very, very involved in the recovery of New Orleans and surrounding areas,'' Matalin said. "[Obama] cares about nothing....He wants chaos at the borders and it's hard for us to analyze why a President would initiate and sanction and incentivize such chaos. That's exactly what it is and what he's seeking to do." Matalin said she fears for the children who are now being warehoused at the border. "What do you think is going to happen to these kids? Do you really think they're going to be reunited with families? Do you think they're going to be sold into sex trafficking or they're going to be used for drug mules?' Who's going to take care of these kids? Who's going to place them?…I cannot think of a worse crisis for any children anywhere in the world, including our own, when these unvaccinated and sick children make their way across the country. It's a humanitarian threat to us, it's a health threat to us.'' ~~~~~ And today, we learned that these undocumented, unvaccinated children and adults are being put on commercial air flights - without any papers or prior screening. "The National Border Patrol Council "...adamantly opposes the decision of [the Department of Homeland Security] to release the illegal aliens who have been transported from the Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector to other locations for processing,...The fact that TSA is accepting the [Notice to Appear] as a form of identification and allowing illegal aliens to travel commercially shows just how little regard the federal government has for its own immigration laws." The Transportation Security Administration didn't immediately comment to this Breitbart report. The revelations came just three days after President Obama asked Congress for an emergency $3.7 billion to contain the surge of illegal immigrants most from Central America, crossing into the United States from Mexico. ~~~~~ Dear readers, Karl Rove is right when he suggests that Barack Obama would rather raise political funds than do his job as President. And Mary Matalin is right when she says that Barack Obama has no soul. And my fear is the Barack Obama also has no common sense and has set out on a course to trash Congress and America to get even for his own failure - for what, in his twisted mind, he sees as their fault, not his own.
