Opposing Jihad and Sharia, Unvetted Illegal Immigration, and Multiculturalism Is not Racist

ISLAM AND MULTICULTURALISM ARE OFTEN CONFUSED WITH RACISM BY PROGRESSIVES. They are not the same at all and rejecting the first two does not make anyone a racist. • • • THE HISTORY OF JIHAD FROM MUHAMMAD TO ISIS. That is the name of the new Robert Spencer book reviewed Sunday by Frank Hawkins on American Thinker. Robert Spencer is one of the world’s leading authorities on Islam. He has written several best selling books on Islam and is the founder of Jihad Watch, a website that covers global Islamic attacks and activity on a daily basis. It is a program of the David Horowitz Freedom center, where Spencer is a Shillman Fellow. Spencer is also co-founder of Stop Islamization of America. Hawkins calls Spencer a "Paul Revere of our times" : "Spencer is a tireless speaker and advocate, and he has been banned from entering the UK despite the fact the British government has no trouble allowing Islamic hate preachers full access. Of the Greek Orthodox faith, Spencer has spent decades researching, studying and observing the elements that fill this important book with records of events and, most damagingly, direct quotes from Qur’an, which “contain numerous exhortations to fight against the infidels, as do all the hadith collections of Muhammad’s words and deeds.” More specifically, the scriptures command Moslems to “fight those who do not believe in Allah.” The historical record is chilling. But Spencer’s most damaging and convincing argument is letting the Moslems speak for themselves including the prophet Muhammad who bragged, “I have been victorious with terror.” The book sweeps the reader through Muhammad’s own bloody conquests against Jews and other infidels, and then on through centuries of jihad, mass bloodshed from Spain to India, the Barbary Wars, the Ottoman Empire, and on into modern day global terrorism. There is no accurate body count, but it’s certainly a staggering number." Hawkins says Spencer sums up his book in the opening sentence : “There is no period since the beginning of Islam that was characterized by peaceful co-existence between Moslems and non-Moslems...There has always been, with virtually no interruption, jihad. Nor is jihad in Islamic theology primarily, or even prominently anything but warfare against non-believers.” The rest of Spencer’s well researched and thoroughly documented book, says Hawkins, are the details, fascinating, convincing and frightening details that more that substantiate his case. Hawkins describes the details : "His most alarming material is in the closing chapter 'The West loses the Will to Live.' The well-documented, ongoing jihad against Israel is more than enough for a book of its own. The fall of the Shah of Iran triggered the globalization of modern jihad terrorism. Spencer details the rise of Al Qaida and Osama bin Laden along with the 9/11 attacks that were, not so shockingly, organized and funded by senior people in both Saudi Arabia and Iran. Even worse were attempts by the Bush administration and the Obama administration to cover this up. One can see the hand of Obama’s CIA director John Brennan in a good deal of this. Who can forget Obama’s 2009 trip to Cairo where he 'acknowledged civilization’s debt to Islam.' Somehow he managed not to mention the slaughter of millions over the centuries in the name of Allah. The Obama-supported Moslem Brotherhood, which has been labeled by some as a terrorist group, and its offshoot CAIR, remain highly active in weakening America’s resolve to resist the encroachment of Islam. In February 2012, for instance, the Obama administration, led by John Brennan, purged thousands of documents about the threat of Jihad from FBI and other government training manuals, because they were allegedly 'biased, false and highly offensive to Moslem groups.' " • In other words, notes Hawkins, Spencer points out : “American was going to war against jihadists while forbidding itself to understand jihad. Brennan, in fact, 'was instrumental in the Obama administration’s recasting of the defense against terror as a localized struggle against al-Qaida.' This was after Spencer had led seminars on Islam and jihad for the FBI, the United States Central Command, United States Army Command and General Staff College, the Joint Terrorism Task Force, the Justice Department’s Terrorism Advisory Council and the US intelligence community." • One aspect of this historical jihad against non-Moslems is the accelerated flood of Moslem immigrants into the West. Spencer concludes that, “The failure of today’s leadership and the international media to inform the public about what is really going on (is) an abdication of responsibility unparalleled in history.” Spencer believes the leaders of Europe have “brought almost certain doom on their countries.” • Reading daily dispatches, particularly from the UK and France, it is difficult to disagree. [By signing up for Gatestone Institute's daily newsletter, you can follow what is going on in the Middle East and Europe; GI was founded by John Bolton.] And, Spencer is not the only warning voice. Hawkins points out that : "In his daily electronic ride across America warning of the increasing Islamic threat, he has active allies in Pamela Geller, David Horowitz, Brigitte Gabriel, Jamie Glazov, Raymond Ibrahim and Glen Roberts who have not been afraid to identify the ideological monster that threatens to destroy our Constitution and our way of life. Roberts’ website, the Religion of Peace, keeps daily track of jihadist attacks on a global basis : 33,943 since 9/11. Islamic extremism and efforts to combat it were responsible for 84,000 deaths in 2017, according to a report from an organization founded by former UK.Prime Minister Tony Blair....The data found that there were 7,841 attacks in 48 countries in 2017, at least 47 Islamic extremist groups deliberately 'orchestrated fatal campaigns against civilians.' Those attacks, the report says, were 'designed to instill fear and erode public morale.' The real question is how to destroy the Islamic destroyers. Amil Imani, writing for Pamela Geller’s website, offers an action specific list that includes holding to account politicians who sell themselves to Islamic advocacy groups, staying informed and finding ways to actively wean ordinary Moslems away from their religion of destruction, intolerance, backwardness and death. Moslems need to be openly challenged ideologically. Do they accept Sharia law (female genital mutilation, the right of a man to beat one’s wife, total subjugation of wives by their husbands, death for unmarried fornication and adultery, death to gays, death to critics of Islam, death for apostates) over America’s Constitutional law?" Finally, asks Hawkins, "Is reform of Islam even a theoretical possibility?" • Frank Hawkin, a former US Army intelligence officer, Associated Press foreign correspondent, and international businessman, is speaking from great experience. He says of himself : "On a personal note, I spent two exciting years in Beirut as chief of Middle East Services for the Associated Press. I had many Arab, Armenian and Palestinian friends and employees. Many of them were wonderful, lovely people who were fun to socialize and spend time with. But this was before Jimmy Carter cut the floor out from under the Shah, paving the way for the Ayatollah Khomeini to return from Paris to Teheran to assume leadership of the country. My friends were what I would call cultural or secular Moslems. They were not devout and did not pray five times a day. As far as I knew they were good people. So it’s important to separate good human beings from radical Islam wherever we can." • Compare that with a letter wirtten by Osama bin Laden to the American people in 2002. Bin Laden wrote that war against the United States will end “only with the submission of the United States to the warriors of jihad. The first thing we are calling you to is Islam...killing you and fighting you and terrorizing you, responding to your attacks, all are considered to be the great legitimate duty in our religion. These actions are offerings to God.” • Robert Spencer challenges us in the West : "The historical record speaks for itself, even more loudly and clearly than it usually does. It is my hope that readers with an open mind and a willingness to consider unwelcome facts...will see this record for what it is and ponder carefully its implications for the future of free societies around the world.” In other words, Islam is coming, by land, sea and air. The warnings are all there. It’s time to recognize what is happening and bring it to a halt." • This is not to suggest that all Moslems should be deported or denied entry into Europe or America, but they should be carefully screened to be sure as we can be that those who ask to live among us in the West are not bringing hidden allegiances to anti-West jihad and Sharia with them. • • • IN THE MIDDLE EAST, CHRISTIANS BEAR THE BRUNT OF JIHAD IN IRAN. Gatestone Institute's Majid Rafizadeh -- a Harvard-educated scholar who serves on the advisory board of Harvard International Review, an official publication of Harvard University -- wrtoe on Sunday that : "In response to the latest abuses against Christians, Amnesty International has initiated an 'urgent action' appeal. It has called on the Iranian regime to 'quash the convictions and sentences of Victor Bet-Tamraz, Shamiram Isavi, Amin Afshar-Naderi, and Hadi Asgari, as they have been targeted solely for the peaceful exercise of their rights to freedoms of religion and belief, expression, and association, through their Christian faith.' However there are far more stories of Christian persecution throughout Iran, than just these four. After significant pressure from legal and human rights groups, the Islamist leaders of Iran commuted Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani's sentence from death [for apostasy] to 10 years in prison. He will have 10 years of his life stolen from him, just because he practiced his faith. What is important to note is that in countries, run by Sharia law, the constitution becomes inferior to the Islamist laws of the land. When radical Islam gains power, every article in the constitution becomes contingent on compliance with sharia. The rights that are promised in the constitution therefore become null and void. It is not enough to hope that one day Christians will be able to practice their faith in Iran without fear of persecution or death; action must be taken by the global community to ensure that the Iranian regime stands by its own constitution and provides its Christian citizens with equal rights and protections." • Rafizadeh states : "Frequently, Shiite Islamic preachers and leaders can be heard stating that Islam recognized 'People of the Book,' which refers to Christians and Jews. This assertion sounds as if Islam gives Christian and Jews the same level of status and respect as their Moslem counterparts. That argument was recently confirmed when the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, claimed that 'Christians have the same rights as others do.' With that confirmation, it might be easy to assume that Christians are relatively safe in Iran. But are they? In speeches, and on paper, these words probably give the impression that Christians are not only welcome in Iran, but given equal rights and protections. However, the everyday experiences of Christians in Iran, tell a very different story. Violence and persecution against Christians have, under the Sharia law of Iran, increased significantly. One recent case documents the traumatic experiences of Pastor Victor Bet-Tamraz and his wife Shamiram Issavi, ethnic Assyrian Christians, along with Amin Afshar Naderi and Hadi Asgari, who converted to Christianity from Islam. Each were sentenced by the Revolutionary Court in Teheran to a combined total of 45 years in prison. Despite Iran's claims that they have equal rights and protections, they may never see freedom again....Even though Christians make up a very small part of the population, they have always been viewed, under Iran's sharia law, as a threat to 'national security.' Iran's total population is roughly 80 million, with anywhere between 117,000 and 3 million of that total being Christians, according to various estimates....The latest report, from Amnesty International, pointed out that, 'Christians in Iran have been a target of harassment, arbitrary arrest and detention, unfair trials, and imprisonment on national security-related charges solely because of their faith.'...Many other Christians are being jailed for baseless charges such as 'Propagating against the Islamic Republic in favor of Christianity.' " • Rafizadeh's point is this : "When radical Islam gains power, every article in the constitution becomes contingent on compliance with Sharia. The rights that are promised in the constitution therefore become null and void. The Christians in Iran who believed that by supporting the Islamic revolution they would be gaining protections and equal rights are now instead living in constant fear. Only increased pressure from the international community may create a change within Iran that might afford these innocent people some protections against the brutal acts that they face. It is not enough to hope that one day Christians will be able to practice their faith in Iran without fear of persecution or death; action must be taken by the global community to ensure that the Iranian regime stands by its own constitution and provides its Christian citizens with equal rights and protections." • This may seem like one of those larger issues that we individuals cannot influence. But, simply by letting your House member or Senator know that you support efforts to protect Christians in the Middle East, and especially in Iran, you will bolster his or her conviction that the issue matters to voting constituents. Votes always give Congress a push in the right direction. • • • ISIS AND CHRISTIANS. Another Gatestone Institute contributor, Raymond Ibrahim, has written two articles about "Genocide against Christians." Last Sunday, Ibrahim gave us a list of the atrocities. You can read the article at < https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/13093/genocide-against-christians >. It is an account of the brutal ISIS assault on individual Christians and Christian communities in the Middle East and Africa. We often forget that ISIS and jihad exist in North Africa. Here is one example given by Raymond Ibrahim of attacks on Christians in Nigeria : "NIGERIA : Moslem Fulani herdsmen slaughtered about 350 Christians and torched hundreds of homes and scattered churches in 27 different attacks throughout the month of April. In one instance, the Islamic herdsmen stormed St. Ignatius Church during the service and massacred 19 Christians, including two priests, on April 24 in Benue State. According to a report, 'the parishioners and the priests had gone for early morning mass at about 5:30 a.m., when the herdsmen who stormed the village and the church wasted no time in spraying bullets on everyone in sight....' The motivation of the murderers was not missed on the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi, which in a statement, regretted the 'deadly attack by herdsmen/Jihadists.' On the following day, April 25, in the Guma region, 'Seven Christian villagers who were displaced in previous attacks and were taking refuge in the church premises were killed,' according to a local authority. Another statement concerning another of the deadly raids (in Saghev village, Friday, April 20) noted : 'Ten [Christian] corpses have so far been recovered, with many others injured. The armed herdsmen also burnt numerous houses, shops and other property in the area. This mindless attack was unprovoked, and we urge security agencies to arrest the herdsmen behind the killings for prosecution.' " • Another forgotten ISIS jihad area is the PHILIPPINES. Here is Raymond Ibrahim's account : "Philippines: In an attack described by police as bearing 'the signature of an Islamic extremist group,' a bomb explosion rocked a church during Sunday mass. According to the report : 'Attendees of the mass christening at St. Anthony Parish Church...were left in shock after an explosion just outside the church on Sunday, April 29, followed by authorities detonating a separate IED [improvised explosive device] just a few meters from the church. The explosion, which injured 2 persons [who required hospitalization], was heard around 12 p.m. while the church was packed with people attending a mass christening...' " • AND, have we thought of Cyprus as a site of jihad? Read Raymond Ibrahim's report : "CYPRUS : On "Wednesday night [April 4], about 20 Moslem migrants attacked a Christian congregation outside St. Mary's church during the holy liturgy in Leukosia," according to one report. Most of the Christians were inside the church when 20 Moslems suddenly arrived at the temple's yard and began screaming, cursing, and beating the attendees. According to statements given by locals at Sigma live news, one of the Moslems was waving an adze [axe-like tool] and tried to use it against members of the congregation. The Moslems disappeared after the police, called in by the terrorized believers, appeared on the scene.' " • Once again, Germany takes a jihad hit described by Ibrahim : "GERMANY : A Moslem migrant from Pakistan who vandalized two churches was hospitalized. According to the report : 'For the second time in a few days, a church in Chemnitz has been damaged by vandalism. Several stained glass windows were smashed in at the St. Peter's Church in Theaterplatz on Monday evening [April 23]. The man who is responsible for the deed had already broken into the church of St. Mark on the Sonnenberg over the weekend and had also rampaged there. He was provisionally arrested at the church. The suspect is a 24-year-old asylum seeker from Pakistan. The property damage incurred at the church amounts to around 3000 Euros, according to police.' " • Ibrahim gives reports from the North African Magreb region : "MOROCCO : Security agents detained for 24 hours a Christian man for having gospel literature and four other religious books in his backpack. Authorities stopped the 35-year-old Moroccan as he left his home in Rabat on the morning of April 18. The Christian was released without charges after being detained for 24 hours. Things might have been different if he had more books or was perceived as evangelizing to Moslems. According to one report : "Article 220 of the Moroccan Criminal code calls for imprisonment of six months to three years and a fine of 200 to 500 Moroccan dirham (US$20 to US$49) for employing enticements 'to shake the faith of a Moslem.' Such 'enticements' could include education, health care, orphanages and other aid that Christians consider biblical commands. The harassment comes as Moroccan Christians are beginning to call on the government to respect their religious rights.' " • ALGERIA : Authorities in the city of Tizi-Ouzou closed down Early Childhood Home, a day-care center for Christian children established 14 years ago by the Full Gospel Protestant Church. On April 17, Pastor Salah Chalah was summoned to the local police station, where he was accused of illegally running the center, which is located on the church's premises. He was ordered to close it down. At the time, around 20 children, aged between one and five, were enrolled in the center, under the supervision of four teachers, all Christians. 'Since it was established 14 years ago, the care centre has never been threatened by authorities, though the church premises have been inspected on a regular basis by the intelligence agency,' Chalah said. 'The centre only exists to teach Christian values to our children in their early childhood, because in neighbouring nurseries, the teaching of the Quran and Islamic values form an integral part of the official curriculum.' " AND EVEN IN THE UK : "United Kingdom : A Christian nun who was driven out of her convent in Qaraqosh, Iraq by the Islamic State was denied a visa from the nation that provided refugee status to tens of thousands of Moslem men. Four years earlier, ISIS had invaded and occupied Sister Ban Madleen's convent, prompting her to flee for her life. She settled with thousands of other internally displaced persons, mostly Christians, in Erbil (Iraqi Kurdistan), where she set up kindergartens for the children. When the opportunity for her to visit her sick sister in the UK came, officials denied her. According to the report : The letter from UK Visas and Immigration, a division of the Home Office, gives the reasons for refusing Sister Ban a visa : that she had not provided evidence of her earnings as a kindergarten principal, and that she had not provided confirmation that the Dominican Sisters of St Catherine of Siena would fund her visit. For these reasons, the letter says the clearance officer is not satisfied that she is genuinely seeking entry for a permissible purpose. Rather than allowing Sister Ban to provide the necessary evidence, the letter, a copy of which the Catholic Herald has seen, ends: 'In relation to this decision there is no right of appeal or right to administrative review.' The letter acknowledges the importance of family visits, and accepts that Sister Ban had previously travelled to the UK and complied with the terms of her visa, but points out that she was issued that visa seven years ago in 2011 and comments specifically on her absence of recent travel to the UK. 'Do they not know what happened between 2014 and now?' wondered one Fr. Kiely, who is acquainted with her case. He further confirmed that denying religious orderlies visas in not uncommon in the UK : another nun with a PhD in Biblical Theology from Oxford was denied twice; another nun was denied entry for not having a personal bank account; a Catholic priest was refused a visa for not being married; and three archbishops from Iraq and Syria were refused entry despite being invited by the country's Syriac Orthodox Church for the consecration of the UK's first Syriac Cathedral, an event attended by Prince Charles.' " • Raymond Ibrahim, author of the new book, "Sword and Scimitar, Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West," is a Distinguished Senior Fellow at the Gatestone Institute and a Judith Rosen Friedman Fellow at the Middle East Forum. Gatestone notes at the end of Raymond Ibrahim's report : "While not all, or even most, Moslems are involved, persecution of Christians by extremists is growing. The report posits that such persecution is not random but rather systematic, and takes place irrespective of language, ethnicity, or location." • And, wanting to protect your country from such jihadist terrorists is NOT racist. It is reasonable. • • • MULTICULTURALISM OFTEN FAILS. That is the position of Jan Keller. Professor Keller is a Czech Social Democrat Member of the European Parliament, sociologist, analyst, commentator and author of more than 30 books. He studied at the universities of Bordeaux, Aix-en-Provence, and att he Sorbonne in Paris. He has lectured on sociology at the University of Lille, Poitiers, Trento, Lodz and Barcelona. Gatestone Institute published an article on Tuesday that is based on a speech he gave at the seminar, "Is Mass Immigration a Condition for Prosperity of Europe?" held by the Institute Vaclav Klaus in Prague on March 19, 2015. The speech was translated into English by Josef Zboril. • Professor Keller states that : "The policy of multiculturalism, which emphasizes the benefits of cultural diversity for society and the state, is an example of the exploitation of others based on a fantasy of virtue. Those at whom the sweet talk of multiculturalism is aimed, can see that it has done nothing to improve their lot, and are now realizing that their future is bleak. If we bring in highly qualified immigrants to our workforce, we would be taking away from poorer countries the best they have to offer, and the situation in those countries will further deteriorate. The result will be an even greater flow of unskilled migrants escaping those countries. The proponents of the new multiculturalism want to share their welfare states with masses of refugees who -- through no fault of their own -- will be unable to participate in financing themselves for a long time to come. Multiculturalism is not a manifestation of Europe's generosity, or some noble embodiment of love and truth. Multiculturalism is what remains after mass migration reveals itself as a threat, rather than a benefit, to the economies of European countries." Keller notes that after World War II, France needed foreign workers for menial jobs, so it imported unskilled labor from its former colonies. These workers came without their families and went back to their home countries. Later, at the end of the 1970s, the workers brought their families, and also had children in France at a time when, says Keller : "there were changes in the economy that ended up leaving descendants of the recruited workers hopeless. While their parents had experienced some upward mobility, they themselves -- even those with a higher level of education than their parents -- were left with fewer job opportunities and became a surplus on the labor market; they also did not have another place to go. In other words, they had been born in a country that suddenly had nothing to offer. The only thing that the government could come up with was a rationale for the dire situation -- a mission for these children of migrants : that they should enrich themselves culturally in the country to which their parents had migrated. This new policy of multiculturalism, which emphasizes the benefits of cultural diversity for society and the state...has done nothing to improve their lot, and are now realizing that their future is bleak." • Professor Keller also describes those who favor multiculturalism for the Czech Republic, in Eastern Europe, which has been resistant to it : "What they do not grasp is that the Czech Republic today does not resemble France in the early part of the 20th century. We Czechs do not need to recruit foreign workers to perform menial jobs. On the contrary, we need to develop an economy based on skilled labor. It also does not make sense for us to seek highly skilled migrants for this purpose. Such migrants prefer countries whose languages they speak and in which they can earn higher wages than those offered in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, given the problematic nature of our current education system, which is unable adequately to prepare graduates for jobs in tech companies, it would be absurd for us to rely on technology experts from developing countries to rescue our economy....If we bring in highly qualified immigrants to our workforce, we would be taking away from poorer countries the best they have to offer. What right do we have to use them to solve our own problems? If we take them away from their countries of origin, the situation in those countries will further deteriorate. The result will be an even greater flow of unskilled migrants escaping those countries. These new arrivals will create an even greater burden on the social security system than it will incentivize economic development. That consequence is not because migrants are lazier or less ambitious than the local population. Their disadvantages are due to other factors, such as difficulty with a new language and that they tend to have larger families." • For Professor Keller : "Mass waves of migrants represent statistically significantly greater risks than opportunities. They do not serve to boost prosperity. Our [social services] insurance systems, which were founded by, and developed for, the nation states whose populations they were meant to serve, were simply never designed to cover them." • Disagreemetn with hte tenets of multiculturalism is NOT racist, nor is it "far right-wing." Those who oppose multiculturalism are interested in preserving their culture, their rule of law under an agreed constitution, and their control of their borders, without whichn after ll, there really is no country. • • • THE HONDURAS MIGRANTS. That brings us to the United States. President Trump and Republicans who want to control the southern borders and prevent mass unvetted illegal immigration from South and Central America are often called racist. President trump's latest warning will surely again raise the "racist" cries from ProgDems. • The Washington Times wroteo n Wednesday that : "President Trump on Tuesday said he warned Honduras to stop a caravan of more than 1,000 migrants headed for the United States or else lose American aid. 'The United States has strongly informed the President of Honduras that if the large Caravan of people heading to the US is not stopped and brought back to Honduras, no more money or aid will be given to Honduras, effective immediately!' Mr. Trump tweeted. The caravan of at least 1,600 crossed Monday into Guatemala, chanting 'yes we can' as they defied the Guatemalan governments orders to stop. Mr. Trump made a similar threat in April when a caravan of more than 1,200 migrants left Honduras for the US. That time, the caravan dwindled as it approached the US border, thanks in part to Mexico granting refugee status to some participants. On Monday, about 250 police at the Guatemalan border stopped the caravan for about three hours before relenting and allowing the migrants to pass. The caravan began as about 160 people who first gathered early Friday to depart from San Pedro Sula, one of Honduras‘ most dangerous places, figuring that traveling as a group would make them less vulnerable to robbery, assault and other dangers common on the migratory path through Central America and Mexico. Local media coverage prompted hundreds more to join, and Dunia Montoya, a volunteer assisting the migrants, estimated Sunday that the group had grown to at least 1,600 people. Police gave their own estimate of around 2,000 on Monday." • • • EVERYONE LOSES. This latest caravan of migrants attempting to reach and breach the US southern border raises all the issues related to unvetted immirgants and multiculturalism. The US cannot stop and adequately vet a caravan of people at its border. They should apply in Honduras for entry visas. But, they know, ad we know, that they would be refused as political asylum seekers or war zone refugees. They also do not, for the most part, have nay skills needed in the US. So, they choose the method used by illegal immigrants to enter Europe -- flood the borders and simply walk in. That tactic results in a social services burden for Texas, California, Arizona and New Mexico. It creates pockets of unemployable illegals who have to lie to get housing or medical care, who need to be taught English and sorker skills, and who bring with them families whose current childrem will grow up thinking they are Americans. while their babies born after they illegally enter the US will be US citizens, making it very difficult if not impossible to deport the family. They are scattered across the US, bringing "multiculturalism" to communities hwo do not want, need or understand it. Crime rates rise. Welfare rolls expand. Nobody is happy, except for the multiculturalist Progressive Democrats and their supporters who see these illegals as "voters." Even their voting is done illegally. But, George Soros probably pays for their caravans, and he organizes them as voters through his many funded organizations. • While this may keep Democrats in power in some areas, and while it feeds their agenda of taking over America for a socialist multicutural future, it leaves the illegal immigrants who are not gang members or other kinds of criminals themselves in a no-man's-land of hiding from ICE, worrying about their children being deported, not being able to work legally and so being exploited by ruthless gangs and companies. • • • DEAR READERS, opposing Islamic jihad, multiculturalism, and illegal immigration does not make anyone a racist. • Yumiko Blaschko, a legal immigrant to the US from Japan and Singapore, and a New Majority Orange County member, wrote an article about President Trump's economy and minorities for Ameriocan Thinker on Wednesday. She says : "There's a lot at stake in the upcoming election for all Americans, minorities like me included. The Trump economy has expanded economic growth, broadening opportunities for investors, minority communities, small businesses, and corporations. Business sentiment is up, profits have risen, and wages have increased. The American people's confidence has been restored. Despite the recent market corrections, which are normal and expected, we are still ahead in the year to date by 4-5% in the major indexes. The economy is clearly in terrific shape, and people are making money. President Trump's policies have been a good thing for all in American society, whites and non-whites included." Yumiko Blaschko says : "Many of our friends on the left do not want to recognize that the Trump economy has been good for so many in our society : investors, blue-collar workers, small business-owners, American multinationals, minorities. Now that the economy is back on its feet and prospering, we must push back against ideological efforts to sink the GOP's pro-growth measures. Rather than blindly accepting talking points from party establishment figures, minority communities need to take into consideration how the conditions for them and their families have improved under the Trump economy. There's nothing wrong with taking a look with fresh eyes at your personal situation and judging for yourself how your prospects have progressed during this period of rising opportunity and prosperity. The past two years have brought economic growth, which has in turn raised increased revenues and brought more people back into the American workforce. President Trump's policies have set our economy on a sustainable, prosperous path, helping people of color, whites, and others. After a lot of hard work, we have a good thing going with our economy. We are firing on all cylinders. Our involvement as citizens is needed to maintain this momentum. Let's get out and vote on November 6." • This is the new reality in America. The economy provided by the Trump miracle has boosted all Americans -- and all who come to the US legally can participate and profit from it. But, that does not mean that America's borders are to be erased or her immigration laws ignored. It does not mean that Americans need to be exposed to unvetted illegal immigrants who may harbor among them ISIS Islamic jihadists. Multiculturalism is not the goal. Jihad is not the goal. Making America all that she can be for all her citizens of all races -- that is the goal.
