Democrats Up Their Violence Rhetoric as Hillary Takes Heat for Benghazi and Khattala Jailed for 22 Years

JUST HOW LUNATIC ARE THE PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS? They are wildly out of touch with America and with any sense of what is appropriate in politics. • • • A FEDERAL JUDGE SHOCKED BY OBAMA'S FBI LIES. Fox News broke the story on Thursday that the State Department provided "clearly false" statements to derail requests for Clinton documents, and it "shocked" the federal judge hearing the case. Here is how Fox News gave the details : "In a combative exchange at a hearing Friday in Washington, DC, a federal judge unabashedly accused career State Department officials of lying and signing 'clearly false' affidavits to derail a series of lawsuits seeking information about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private email server and her handling of the 2012 terrorist attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. US District Court Judge Royce Lamberth said he was 'shocked' and 'dumbfounded' when he learned that FBI had granted immunity to former Clinton chief of staff Cheryl Mills during its investigation into the use of Clinton's server, according to a court transcript of his remarks. 'I had myself found that Cheryl Mills had committed perjury and lied under oath in a published opinion I had issued in a Judicial Watch case where I found her unworthy of belief, and I was quite shocked to find out she had been given immunity in -- by the Justice Department in the Hillary Clinton email case,' Lamberth said during Friday's hearing." • The Department of Justice's Inspector General (IG), Michael Horowitz, noted in a bombshell report in June that it was "inconsistent with typical investigative strategy" for the FBI to allow Mills to sit in during the agency's interview of Clinton during the email probe, given that classified information traveled through Mills' personal email account. "[T]here are serious potential ramifications when one witness attends another witness' interview," the IG wrote. On Friday, Lamberth, appointed to the bench by President Ronald Reagan, said he did not know Mills had been granted immunity until he 'read the IG report and learned that and that she had accompanied [Clinton] to her interview....I was actually dumbfounded when I found out...that Cheryl Mills had been given immunity." • Judge Lamberth is hearing the case that includes the initial Judicial Watch lawsuit against the State Department in 2014, seeking information about the response to the Benghazi attack after the government didn't respond to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Other parallel lawsuits by Judicial Watch are probing issues, including Clinton's server, whose existence was revealed during the course of the litigation. The State Department had immediately moved to dismiss Judicial Watch's first lawsuit on a motion for summary judgment, saying in an affidavit that it had conducted a search of all potentially relevant emails in its possession and provided them. The affidavit noted that some more documents and emails could be forthcoming. But Lamberth denied the request to dismiss the lawsuit at the time -- and on Friday, he said he was happy he did, charging that State Department officials had intentionally misled him because other key documents, including those on Clinton's email server, had not in fact been produced. Judge Lamberth said in court : "It was clear to me that at the time that I ruled initially, that false statements were made to me by career State Department officials, and it became more clear through discovery that the information that I was provided was clearly false regarding the adequacy of the search and this -- what we now know turned out to be the Secretary’s email system...I don’t know the details of what kind of IG inquiry there was into why these career officials at the State Department would have filed false affidavits with me. I don’t know the details of why the Justice Department lawyers did not know false affidavits were being filed with me, but I was very relieved that I did not accept them and that I allowed limited discovery into what had happened." • During a tense exchange with Justice Department lawyer Robert Prince, Lamberth pressed the issue, accusing Prince of using "doublespeak" and "playing the same word games [Clinton] played." That "was not true," the judge said, referring to the State Department's assurances in a sworn declaration that it had searched all relevant documents. "It was a lie." But Prince pushed back sharply, saying he took the judge's accusations "extremely seriously. It might be that our search could be found to be inadequate, but that declaration was absolutely true. Now, it's been made clear in rulings by various courts that, basically, the courts are going to expect us to search items that come in afterward in this instance, and that's understandable, but at the time, that was not at all clear, you know? I understand if Your Honor thinks that the searches that were done up to the motion for summary judgment were inadequate, but being wrong about the search being adequate does not make it a false affidavit." • In a statement, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, who was present at the hearing, pushed the White House for answers. Fitton said : “President Trump should ask why his State Department is still refusing to answer basic questions about the Clinton email scandal. Hillary Clinton’s and the State Department’s email cover up abused the FOIA, the courts, and the American people’s right to know.” • The hearing was held because Judicial Watch is seeking to compel Clinton and other officials to testify and provide more information as part of its lawsuit. Clinton has since blamed Republicans and groups like Judicial Watch for derailing her presidential bid in 2016. Last year, Hillary told NBC's "Today" : “Take the Benghazi tragedy -- you know, I have one of the top Republicans, Kevin McCarthy, admitting we’re going to take that tragedy -- because, you know, we’ve lost people, unfortunately, going back to the Reagan administration, if you talk about recent times, in diplomatic attacks. But boy, it was turned into a political football. And it was aimed at undermining my credibility, my record, my accomplishments.” • • • BENGHAZI IS STILL MAKING NEWS. Four Americans were killed in the attack on the Benghazi embassy -- Ambassador Christopher Stevens, State Department official Sean Smith and security officers Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, both onetime Navy SEALs -- and the Clinton State Department was faulted for ignoring security concerns in the run-up to the attack, contributing to the poor defense posture at the post. The independent government Accountability Review Board that examined the tragedy concluded there were “systemic failures and leadership and management deficiencies at senior levels” at the State Department that “resulted in a Special Mission security posture that was inadequate for Benghazi and grossly inadequate to deal with the attack that took place.” • Then-national security advisor Susan Rice claimed on several talk shows that the attack was caused by a YouTube video, even as e-mails uncovered after the fact revealed that administration officials knew the incident was the result of terrorism. Officials at the State Department were stunned by Rice's appearances, according to the emails, with one State Department employee suggesting Rice had gone "off the reservation." Rice has since openly suggested she is considering running against Maine moderate Republican Senator Susan Collins because of her vote to support Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation. Rice called Collins' speech announcing her vote a "paean to disingenuousness and incoherence." But Collins has downplayed any potential challenge from Rice : "As far as Susan Rice is concerned, her family has a home in Maine, but she doesn’t live in the state of Maine. Everybody knows that." • Collins vs Rice or not, Benghazi is in the news because Ahmed Abu Khattala, 47, convicted of multiple terrorism-related charges but found not guilty of murder, has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for his role in the deadly September 2012 attacks on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. • Through a statement from the Justice Department, US District Judge Christopher R. “Casey” Cooper announced the sentence on Wednesday in Washington. The Wqshington Post reported that Judge Cooper told Khattala : “Even if you did not pour the gasoline or light the match, the evidence showed you were aware of the attack, and once the gates were breached, the likelihood someone would die was extreme high. This was not guilt by association....This case stands as an exemplar for the principle that a defendant accused of international terrorism can get a fair trial in the US criminal justice system.” Prosecutors accused defendant Khattala, who was captured in Libya on June 15, 2014, of heading an extremist militia and directing the attacks. But prosecutors also acknowledged they lacked evidence of his having fired any weapons. The government’s case against him relied heavily on the testimony of informants. Defense attorneys argued that the evidence was inconclusive, and that their client was being singled out because of his ultraconservative Moslem beliefs. • Khattala was found guilty in November on just four of 18 charges, precluding him from facing the death penalty. He was convicted of two counts of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists, one count of maliciously destroying US property and placing lives in danger, and one count of using and carrying a semiautomatic weapon during the attack. • The 2012 attack led to Republicans accusing the Obama administration of intentionally misleading the public and stonewalling congressional investigators, though officials denied wrongdoing. It continued to be a problem for Hillary Clinton during her failed 2016 White House bid, as critics accused her of pushing a false narrative linking the attack to protests over an anti-Islam video -- and her State Department of neglecting the security needs of the team on the ground before the attack. • The Khattala case was widely regarded as one of the most significant terrorism prosecutions in recent years in a US civilian court. May we hope that as the Judicial Watch probe of all Hillary's grave actions as Secretary of State continues, we may one day see her as the defendant in a criminal lawsuit? • • • CIRMINALS AND LUNATICS. The Canada Free Press wrote on Thursday that Democrats are now physically attacking Republican candidates. Reporter Sher Zieve says : "If nothing else, Democrat operatives are good at following the orders of their betters. They have followed California Representative Mad Max Waters’ command to go after Republicans 'wherever you find them' and 'I have no sympathy for these people that are in this administration who know it’s wrong for what they’re doing on so many fronts. They tend to not want to confront this President or even leave, but they know what they’re doing is wrong. I want to tell you, these members of his cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they won’t be able to go to a restaurant, they won’t be able to stop at a gas station, they’re not going to be able to shop at a department store.' ” • The Democrat Socialists are now surrounding Republican Senators on their way to their offices and blocking elevators from closing, while they scream, spit and yell at them, according to CFP. Democrat Senator Tim Kaine reportedly encourages Democrats to “fight in the streets,” while GOP Senator Lindsey Graham tells of being cornered by a hostile Democrat group and spat upon. Graham told Fox's Hannity that there was “saliva all over my jacket” and that for his first time in of all of his years in office he has to have police protection. • AND, this week, a GOP campaign manager -- Kristen Davidson -- was grabbed and assaulted by a Democrat operative. Fox News reports : “A Democratic operative for American Bridge 21st Century, a group founded by David Brock and funded by liberal billionaire George Soros, was arrested Tuesday after the female campaign manager for Nevada GOP gubernatorial nominee Adam Laxalt accused the operative of grabbing and yanking her arm and refusing to let go. “Kristin Davison and other officials for the Nevada attorney general’s campaign said the “battery” left her “terrified and traumatized” -- and with bruises on her neck and arms. “Politics is a little bit aggressive these days, but this is just insane. I’ve never seen anything like it,” Davison, 31, told Fox News on Wednesday. Fox News states that : “According to the Laxalt campaign and local law enforcement, Wilfred Michael Stark III, 50, was arrested by the Las Vegas City Marshals on Tuesday evening and remains in custody in the Las Vegas city jail.” • IN ANOTHER ATTACK, on Friday October 12, Minnesota Republican candidate for the House Shane Mekeland was “sucker-punched” by a Democrat who disagreed with his message and Mekeland suffered a concussion. • Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton has recently told America that none of this will end until the Democrats are “back in power.” Canada Free Press says even losing presidential candidate Clinton is now threatening the country with violence unless it caves to her and the Democrat Socialists’ will when she said : “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again.” • CFP asks "When has her party ever been civil to Republicans? Never. Clinton and, increasingly, the DSAP (Democrat Socialist of America Party) are showing their true intentions -- those of destroying the USA whether they win or not. Marxists always use violence to overthrow countries they want to conquer, pilfer and control. And, when they’re successful in doing so, each of these countries ends up like Venezuela. Communism was designed to build a movement on multiple lies so that the leaders could steal everything the citizens have. Communism has been and will always be a criminal enterprise...always. And now, with the leadership of our DOJ, CIA, NSA etc. appearing to be firmly in that camp, it all comes down to the 2018 midterm elections. Are there still enough citizens in the United States willing to fight back? We already know that California -- and possibly other Democrat-run states -- are allowing non-citizens to vote. We must overcome that to survive. The Democrat Socialists will continue to work at separating one faction of people from another to keep them fighting with each another, so they will not see the Marxist leaders pilfering of our country until it’s too late and their well-paid National Police Force is in place...as Obama wanted. Remember?" • As Canada Free PRess so rightly states : "There’s only one non-violent way for us to win...that’s via an insurmountable vote for Republicans. Vote for your own and your family’s survival on November 6! And...then pray hard. • • • NANCY PELOSI IS THREATENING REPUBLICANS WITH BECOMING "COLLATERAL DAMAGE." On Thursday, Breitbart reported the Pelosi story : "House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told a gathering at the 92nd Street Y in New York on Sunday that there may have to be 'collateral damage' to those Americans who do not agree with the Democratic Party agenda. Pelosi was being interviewed onstage by Paul Krugman, the left-wing New York Times columnist and Nobel economic laureate who predicted, the day Donald Trump won the presidency, that Trump would trigger 'a global recession, with no end in sight.' “ • We know how wrong Krugman wwas. But, In a long, rambling monologue, during which she stumbled on her words and appeared to lose her train of thought, Nancy Pelosi laid out the Progressive-Marxist-Fascist agenda if the Democrats are victorious in November : "We have to have total clarity about what we do, when it comes to everything -- a woman’s right to choose, gay marriage...whether it’s about immigration, whether it’s about gun safety, whether it’s about climate...I think that we owe the American people to be there for them, for their financial security, respecting the dignity and worth of every person in our country, and if there’s some collateral damage for some others who do not share our view, well, so be it, but it shouldn’t be our original purpose." Breitbart says it is "not clear" what Pelosi meant by "collateral damage,” though Democrats have advocated ostracizing and even prosecuting those who do not share their views on climate change. • Democrats like Representative Mad Maxine Waters of California, have also targeted Trump administration officials for harassment, and Republicans around the country have complained of intimidation and assault on the campaign trail in the run-up to the midterm elections. On Monday, Pelosi told an audience at Harvard that Democrats would win the election, and the only question was whether it would be a “wave” or a “tsunami.” Pelosi would likely return as speaker of the House if her party wins a majority. That in itself is sufficient reason to vote only for Republicans in November. • • • THE ENCONOMY IS BOOMING BUT THE MEDIA IS SILENT ABOUT IT. MRC NewsBusters has released a new study on TV coverage of President Trump. The Study -- "Economic Boom Largely Ignored as TV's Trump Coverage Hits 92% Negative" -- notes that : "In four weeks, Americans go to the polls for the midterm elections that the news media are casting as a referendum on the Trump presidency. Over the summer, the broadcast networks have continued to pound Donald Trump and his team with the most hostile coverage of a President in TV news history -- 92% negative, vs. just 8% positive." For the report, MRC analysts reviewed all 1,007 evening news stories (1,960 minutes of airtime) about the Trump administration on ABC, CBS and NBC from June 1 to September 30, tallying the coverage of each topic and all evaluative comments made by anchors, reporters and non-partisan sources, such as voters or experts. The results show that, over the past four months, nearly two-thirds of evening news coverage of the Trump presidency has been focused on just five main topics : the Russia investigation; immigration policy; the Kavanaugh nomination; North Korea diplomacy; and US relations with Russia. The networks’ coverage of all of these topics has been highly negative, while bright spots for the administration such as the booming economy received extremely little coverage -- less than 1% of the four-month total. • Here are thr study details : "Once again, the ongoing Russia investigation received more evening news coverage (342 minutes) than any other individual topic. This does not include the 86 minutes spent on the Michael Cohen investigation and guilty plea, except for a few minutes talking about the possibility that Cohen would cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller. Since the beginning of the Trump administration, the three networks have spent 1,975 minutes -- nearly 33 hours -- on the Russia investigation, or nearly 18% of all of their coverage of the Trump presidency. As we have previously reported, virtually all of that coverage has been negative, while almost none of it has focused on any of the controversies involving Mueller or his investigative team. As we reported in July, the networks’ coverage of Trump’s immigration policies has been fiercely negative since the first days of his administration. That trend continued this summer, as the networks churned out 308 minutes of mostly (94%) negative coverage the administration’s immigration policies from June to September. The networks’ attention to this topic has waned over the summer. In June, the three evening broadcasts spent 250 minutes on immigration, but that fell to just 35 minutes in July, 18 minutes in August and a mere five minutes in September as the Kavanaugh confirmation battle took over the airwaves. After Brett Kavanaugh was announced the night of July 9, the networks gave his nomination relatively little airtime. From July 10 through September 6, the three evening newscasts together spent a mere 32 minutes on the Kavanaugh confirmation battle. That changed on September 13, when the first anonymous allegations against Kavanaugh were revealed. From then until the end of September, the networks produced an additional 249 minutes of coverage centered on accusations of youthful sexual misconduct, or roughly eight times more than was devoted to the earlier debate about Kavanaugh’s judicial record and philosophy. [This heavy coverage continued in early October, leading up to the Senate’s approval of Kavanaugh’s nomination on October 6.]....the evaluative (82% negative) statements about how President Trump and his team handled the Kavanaugh nomination, including criticism of the President for dismissing the accusations, and for supposedly limiting the scope of the FBI probe...[equaled] Comments about Kavanaugh himself...just as negative (83%) -- nearly all of it focused on the late September misconduct allegations. His performance at the first round of hearings actually earned praise from journalists, especially CBS’s Jan Crawford, who enthused on the September 6 Evening News : 'The main takeaway is that Judge Kavanaugh, he is performing well....It’s almost like he’s giving a judicial seminar on these areas of the law.' Once the coverage moved to the sexual assault allegations, reporters offered nightly recitations of the highly inflammatory (and uncorroborated) charges against Kavanaugh, including that he enabled gang rapes of high school girls in the early 1980s. It is impossible to recall the networks ever giving publicity to a more damning accusation that had not either originated from law enforcement or at least been corroborated by journalistic investigation. The evening newscasts spent 179 minutes on the administration’s diplomacy with North Korea, much of it focused on the June 12 summit between Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. In a one-week period from June 9 to June 15, the networks spent a combined 96 minutes on North Korea, or more than half of the total for the four months we examined. Reaction to the summit was initially somewhat positive -- CBS’s expert Mike Morell, a former Obama administration official, pronounced on the June 12 Evening News that it was 'a diplomatic win for the United States,' but cautioned that 'we are far from a strategic win.' As the weeks wore on, reporters focused on the lack of specific progress, leading to the 90% negative spin on this topic. On the September 10 Nightly News, for example, Andrea Mitchell highlighted the negative take of NBC News Korean Affairs analyst Victor Cha, who declared : 'If the President is saying one thing, but the intelligence is showing something else, it’s hard to believe that the diplomacy is working.' The networks spent 151 minutes on the Trump administration’s approach to Russia, virtually all of it (99%) negative. As with the North Korean summit, the networks’ interest peaked in the days surrounding President Trump’s July 16 summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, with nearly 70% of the coverage (107 minutes) taking place during the seven days between July 13 and July 19. Unlike with North Korea, the networks’ immediate reaction was negative. On the July 16 Nightly News, NBC’s Andrea Mitchell exemplified the media elite’s scolding tone : 'He [President Trump] showed he was not willing to stand up to the Russian leader....It is profoundly demoralizing to American intelligence professionals and diplomats around the world.'....Amid this sea of coverage, the networks spent almost no airtime -- a mere 14 minutes, or 0.7% -- on the administration’s economic achievements, including the positive effects of the tax cuts and deregulation, plus historic job growth. Indeed, the only aspect of the Trump economic program that interested the networks during the past four months has been the President’s use of tariffs to push for better trade deals (80 minutes). Coverage of Trump’s trade policy emphasized the downside : potential higher costs to consumers or the possible harm to industries that rely on foreign imports, as opposed to the potential for job growth or higher wages for American workers. That made the spin of trade news nearly as negative as the other major topics (88% negative), overwhelming the positive (89%) but puny coverage of the broader economic record." • DEAR READERS, we know that we must go to online conservative sites and Fox News for any balanced reporting of the Trump administration or of the President himself. But, as Canada Free Press reminded us, we do have a very important Person on our side : “When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you.” __Deuteronomy 20:1. • Sorry to be late posting today. Have a good weekend.

  2. Well here we are back at Benghazi. We somehow missed charging Hillary with something when she and her State Department failed miserable to protect Ambassador Stevens and his 4 body guards and they suffered violent murderous, degrading deaths because of her non-actions.

I have spent some 39 plus years of watching the Clinton’s break Law after Law, make millions all based on insider trading, miss use IRS files on their enemies, Bill’s assault on women and young girls, Hillary escaped even the slightest investigation into her very, very close friend Vince Foster very questionable death right before he was testifying against her the next day, the biggie Benghazi, e-mail and classified document lying, campaign monies used to create a false Dossier about Trump, false statements to Judges, and so on.

And to date no jail time, no charges, no court time, no humiliation time, no nothing. They are walking the streets doing what they want to, and are poster pictures for lawlessness.

  3. No matter who the President is, no matter who controls Congress, no matter the count of State Capitals in the two political parties count. What matters is that the. United States finds the right time, the right place, and the right re axon to start a withdrawal from the political upheaval that is so consuming to our energies, our military, and our well being.

The 3 problems in the Middle East that are front and center to us are firstly the safety of Israel, secondly nuclear capability of ME countries, and lastly oil availability. None of these 3 require military action, not even police action.

If a ME country or 2 would request short term technical assistance, a small detachment of military trainers, so be it - SHORT TERM.

We need out of the ME (except Israel) and the ME needs us out of their affairs. We’ve been in Afghanistan so long our soldiers must have duel citizenship.

  4. An election that will not close political divides

We are being driven to the watering trough filled with the beliefs that the Republicans are fir sure going to loose control of the House, and barely hold onto a 2 vote majority in the Senate.

Well firstly I don’t buy that at all. We will increase our present majority in both Houses - the Silent Majority is alive and well, and driven by their discuss for everything the Progressive Democrats stand for.

What this most important Mid-Term election should do, but won’t come close to is reducing the rancorous political divides that exists between the Party Leadership and financial backbone of the Republican & Democratic Parties.

The great French writer Alex de Tocqueville summarized that if this new Democracy put together by Jefferson and his 54 closest friends in the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution was to last (unlike the eventual failure of all democracies before it) it would because of the will of its citizens.

What would de Tocqueville think of today’s of the boisterous, rhetoric, near treasonous campaigning?

  5. The united America we once knew no longer exists. Instead, larger or smaller remnants are trying to survive inside a collapsing framework. Each clings to its rendition of the American dream and claims to be its authentic representative. The consensus that acted as the glue holding America together is gone. In its stead, strident clashes between the factions are the thunderous rumblings of worse things just over the horizon. The growing liberal hatred for America’s Christian roots and morals means that we are no longer one nation under God.
