Kerry's 'Private Diplomacy' -- the Latest Obama-led Deep State Attempt to Bring Down the Trump Agenda

THERE'S INTERESTING NEWS TODAY. John Kerry is colluding and treading close to both Logan Act prohibitions and treason. • • • KERRY TALKS TO IRAN AND EUROPEAN LEADERS. InfoWars and Bizpac headlines on Saturday read "John Kerry accused of secretly colluding with Iran to save deal he helped craft." • Former Secretary of State John Kerry is determined to stop President Trump from forcing the collapse of the Iran nuclear deal that Kerry helped negotiate. So, we have one more example of COLLUSION -- and again it comes from the ProgDem side. First, it was the Hillary campaign and the DNC colluding to trap the Trump campaign in a smear about Russia and Trump colluding to win the 2016 election. Now, it's John Kerry colluding with Iran and Europe to stop the United States government from exercising its legitimate authority to de-certify the Iran nuclear deal. Bizpac wrote : "Kerry reportedly 'engaged in some unusual shadow diplomacy with a top-ranking Iranian official,' quoting a new report by The Boston Globe. With a May 12 deadline for Trump to decide whether to continue under the terms of the deal negotiated under the Obama administration and signed in 2015, Kerry has been 'on an aggressive yet stealthy mission to preserve it,' undermining American foreign policy in the process, according to the report. Kerry has met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, European Union official Federica Mogherini and French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif in a 'below the radar' campaign so as not to 'provoke Trump.' ” • Provoke Trump?? It is Kerry who should be "provoking" -- the US Department of Justice. The US Constitution defines "treason" in Article III, Section 3, Clause (1) : "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court." • But, fortunately for Kerry, the US is not at war with Iran, and so Kerry's actions, despicable as they are, do not rise to treason. • • • REQUIREMENTS FOR TREASON. John Kerry has not committted treason, although he is certainly flirting with its definition -- which is, in fact, the only crime specifically defined in the US Constitution. • The Heritage Guide to the Constitution says : "Reflecting the American Founders' concern with protecting individual rights and their fear of arbitrary governmental power, the Framers of the Constitution sought a precise and permanent definition of treason, the permissible means of proving it, and the limitations on the punishment for it. The drafters of the Constitution reached back (as had the Continental Congress) to language in the statute of 25 Edward III (1350), which limited treason, among other things, to compassing or imagining the death of the king, levying war against the king, or adhering to the king's enemies, giving them aid and comfort. But the Framers' work was even narrower. They did not include the language of 'compassing or imagining,' which had been the basis of the English doctrine of 'constructive treason,' an effective and easily abused method for dealing with political opponents. Thus, in the Constitution, treason consists only in levying war against the United States or adhering to its enemies by giving them aid and comfort. It may be proved only by confession in open court, or on the testimony of no fewer than two witnesses to the same overt act....The Supreme Court has had occasion to pronounce on treason....In Ex parte Bollman (1807), Chief Justice John Marshall rejected the idea of "constructive treason" and held that for treason to be established on the ground of levying war against the United States, an accused must be part of an actual assemblage of men for a treasonable purpose. Conspiracy short of the actual levying of war is insufficient. But in the related case of United States v. Burr (1807), Marshall...again rejected constructive treason, but did so by holding that Aaron Burr, if not physically present in an assemblage of men, could still be convicted of treason on the testimony of two witnesses that he actively helped effect or aid such an assemblage -- in effect, aided in the levying of war. Together, these cases made a treason conviction exceedingly difficult for anything other than manifest participation in a treasonable act. After Burr, the leading treason cases grew out of World War II, for adherence to enemies....Because of the particular and high constitutional standards associated with the definition and proof of treason, hostile or subversive acts falling short of treason but directed toward the whole polity have been prosecuted under various laws of Congress, including those dealing with espionage (for example, the conviction and execution of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg in 1953) and, more recently, terrorism. The exercise of federal prosecutorial discretion has also led to the prosecution on other grounds of individuals for acts that arguably amount to treason (for example, John Walker Lindh captured in Afghanistan in 2001), or to failure to prosecute at all." • • • WHAT IS KERRY DOING? Bizpac says : "More than a year after leaving office, Kerry met with Zarif in New York two weeks ago, their second meeting in about two months, in what can only be seen as an effort to counter current Trump administration foreign policy." Muchael O'Hanlon, a foreign policy expert at the Brookings Institution, says : “It is unusual for a former secretary of state to engage in foreign policy like this, as an actual diplomat and quasi-negotiator. Of course, former secretaries of state often remain quite engaged with foreign leaders, as they should, but it’s rarely so issue-specific, especially when they have just left office.” • Kerry has also reportedly been lobbying members of Congress, including House Speaker Paul Ryan, in an effort to salvage the deal he negotiated in which the US waives sanctions, which are reviewed every three or four months, as long as Iran remains in compliance with the deal limiting Iran’s nuclear weapons program. When Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed thousands of documents last week showing Iran’s efforts to build its nuclear program, Kerry panned it as nothing new in a tweet : "Every detail PM Netanyahu presented yesterday was every reason the world came together to apply years of sanctions and negotiate the Iran nuclear agreement -- because the threat was real and had to be stopped. It's working! That’s why Israeli security experts are speaking out." • And, according to the Boston Globe report : "Kerry is coordinating his push with a group of officials who were his top advisors at the State Department, and who helped craft and negotiate the Iran deal in the first place. The group, called Diplomacy Works, has an advisory council that includes lead Iran-deal negotiator Wendy Sherman, former State Department chief of staff Jon Finer, and former spokeswoman Jen Psaki. The group claims to be responsible for 100 news articles, 34 television and radio hits, and 37 opinion pieces on the Iran question. They do fact checks of criticisms of the agreement and blast them out to an e-mail list of nearly 4,000 policy makers and foreign policy experts." • • • WHAT IS KERRY GUILTY OF? Collusion. • Fox News journalist Adam Shaw reported Kerry's actions on Saturday : "Former Secretary of State John Kerry is under fire over a report claiming that he has been engaged in 'shadow diplomacy' with officials from Iran and Europe as part of a final attempt to save the seemingly doomed 2015 Iran nuclear deal. The Boston Globe reported Friday that Kerry sat down twice with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif in recent months to strategize in a bid to save the deal....Trump faces a May 12 deadline to review the deal, and Kerry has been ramping up his meetings ahead of that deadline. He reportedly met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier -- who was foreign minister of Germany when the deal was negotiated. He has also met with French President Emmanuel Macron twice and spoken by phone with European Union foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini....Kerry’s reported actions immediately sparked criticism and raised claims that such dealings with Iranian and European officials could violate the Logan Act -- which prohibits private citizens from negotiating on behalf of the US government without authorization. While no one has ever been successfully prosecuted under the law, the Logan Act was raised last year over former national security advisor Michael Flynn’s negotiations at the United Nations over a resolution with Israel during the Trump transition. 'John Kerry helped craft a flaccid deal that granted the terror regime in Teheran vast monetary and geopolitical concessions, even as it put them on the glide path to nuclear weapons by its own terms,' Sohrab Ahmari, senior writer at Commentary magazine, told Fox News. 'The biggest public service he can render now is to go away.' Florida Senator Marco Rubio said Kerry’s move 'certainly raises Logan Act questions.' He pointed to an alleged double standard....There was a significant outcry from Democrats and the Obama administration in 2015 when Republicans -- led by Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton -- wrote to Iranian leadership explaining the difference between an executive agreement and a treaty. The letter suggested that any deal without a congressional vote could be modified by a future Congress or revoked with 'the stroke of a pen' by whoever replaces President Obama. At that time, Kerry slammed Cotton's move as an 'unconstitutional, un- thought-out action by somebody who has been in the United States Senate for 60-something days.' " • The coordinated Democrat / Deep State attack on the Trump campaign alleged collusion with the Russian government -- there is still No Evidence. But, that colllusion smear led to President Trump's former national security advisor Michael Flynn being accused of violating the Logan Act by talking to foreign officials before Trump took office. However, unlike Flynn, Kerry is not a member of an administration, nor a member of the transition team as Flynn was, but a private citizen apparently working to undermine a current administration. • Yet, Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz said Saturday that Kerry is lucky that no one has been prosecuted under the Logan Act or else he could be in trouble. Dershowitz told Fox News : “Fortunately for everybody, the Logan Act [is a] dead letter but if it were in existence, my friend John Kerry would be violating the Logan Act.” Although Kerry would not likely be prosecuted into the Logan Act, Dershowitz said that there are “real problems” with what Kerry is doing. “He is negotiating, though he is not in the administration, and there are real problems with doing that.” • • • THE LOGAN ACT. The Free Legal Dictionary says : "In the late 1790s, a French trade embargo and jailing of US seamen created animosity and unstable conditions between the United States and France. Logan sailed to France in the hope of presenting options to its government to improve relations with the United States and quell the growing anti-French sentiment in the United States. France responded by lifting the embargo and releasing the captives. Logan's return to the United States was marked by Republican praise and Federalist scorn. To prevent US citizens from interfering with negotiations between the United States and foreign governments in the future, the Adams administration quickly introduced the bill that would become the Logan Act. The Logan Act has remained almost unchanged and unused since its passage. The act is short and reads as follows : 'Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects." The language of the Act appears to encompass almost every communication between a US citizen and a foreign government considered an attempt to influence negotiations between their two countries. Because the language is so broad in scope, legal scholars and judges have suggested that the Logan Act is unconstitutional. Historically, the act has been used more as a threat to those engaged in various political activities than as a weapon for prosecution. In fact, Logan Act violations have been discussed in almost every administration without any serious attempt at enforcement, and to date there have been no convictions and only one recorded indictment [1803 -- a Kentucky newspaper article that argued for the formation in the western United States of a separate nation allied to France. No prosecution followed.]" • So, while Kerry has certainly violated the Logan Act -- and General Flynn almost certainly did not because he was acting for the President-elect -- it is next ot impossible that Kerry will be charged or that a court would convict him if he were charged. • • • THE VANESSA KERRY WEDDING. John Kerry's daughter, Dr. Vanessa Kerry, was married in October 2009 to Dr. Brian (Behrouz) Vala Nahed. The New York Times carried the story of the wedding in a social column written by Vincent Mallozzi. Among other things, Mallozzi wrote : "Dr. Kerry’s father, John Kerry, has been a Senator from Massachusetts since 1984. He is the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee....Ms. Kerry has been without her mother -- the late Julia S. Thorne, who died in April 2006....The bride, who is a stepdaughter of Teresa Heinz Kerry and Richard J. Charlesworth, and the bridegroom, a son of Nooshin P. Nahed and Dr. Reza M. Nahed of Los Angeles, were married Saturday evening at Brandegee House, a Tuscan-style villa in Boston. The Right Reverend M. Thomas Shaw, the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, officiated." The marriage was announced in the New York Times but oddly enough, no mention was made of the groom’s Iranian connection. It should be noted that after the wedding, the couple went to Iran to visit those relatives. • In August, 2015, at the height of the Iran nuclear deal controversy in Congress, i24 News, the French language Israeli news outlet, wrote an article titled "My best friend's wedding?" In it, Ronald Zak wrote that : "Iran denies report that Zarif's son was best-man at wedding of Kerry's daughter. Iran has strongly rejected claims that Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif's son had attended the wedding of US Secretary of State John Kerry’s daughter, Vanessa Kerry, in 2009.The reports, circulating among right-wing American bloggers, suggest that Mehdi Zarif not only attended the wedding, but served as best man the groom, Iranian-American Brian Vala Nahed. According to Iran's Fars news agency, an official within the Iranian foreign ministry called the report that Zarif had attended the wedding a 'sheer lie' and a 'news fabrication.' The report, it continued, was 'was produced by Michele Hickford, a communications strategist and award-winning advertising copywriter. She has held senior marketing positions at Turner Broadcasting and USA Networks and served in Congressman West's congressional office and as Press Secretary for his 2012 campaign.' While Former Congressman Allen West, who cited the report on his website said that 'Secretary Kerry and Zarif first met over a decade ago at a dinner party hosted by George Soros at his Manhattan penthouse,' it is understand that Zarif and Kerry first met at the start of the talks at the United Nations in September 2013. Kerry and Zarif, who spent weeks negotiating a deal on Iran's nuclear program, are on first name terms, calling each other John and Javad. According to Fars, the report is not aimed to 'hurt the Iranian foreign minister, but to damage Kerry's credit and reputation as the Republicans and the Israeli lobbies have started massive propaganda to torpedo a recent nuclear deal struck between the six world powers and Iran....And the Vanessa-Brian story only seems to be the beginning.' " • In 2015, Vanessa Kerry dismissed rumors that have circulated in the Iranian-American community in Los Angeles since her 2009 wedding that the son of Iran’s Foreign Minister, Mehdi Zarif, was best-man for her husband, Behrouz Vala Nahed, an American-born neuro-surgeon. “Happy 2 verify. No wedding party when we married. No Zarif’s son. Sorry 2 disappoint,” she tweeted." No witnesses -- come on, Vanessa, it was an Episcopalian wedding! • BUT, an Iranian website close to the father, Mohammad Javad Zarif, initially reported that Brian Nahed and Mahdi Zarif had “only” been college roommates, but later changed the on-line version of the article without noting the correction. Mahdi Zarif attended the City University of New York and lived in the United States for more than a decade while his father was the Islamic Republic’s ambassador to the United Nations (and repeatedly met with US Senators in Washington, DC, including now vice-president Joe Biden). • • • KERRY WENT PUBLIC ABOUT FAMILY IRAN TIES. The Daily Caller published an article covering then-Secretary of State John Kerry's greetings to the Iranian people on their traditional New Year Nowruz holiday in March 2013. The Daily Caller wrote : "In a greeting to the Iranian people on the occasion of the traditional New Year (Nowruz) holiday last week, Secretary of State John Kerry exposed a secret that journalists and academics have been agonizing over for the past six weeks : the fact that his daughter has married an Iranian-American who has extensive family ties to Iran. 'I am proud of the Iranian-Americans in my own family, and grateful for how they have enriched my life,' Kerry said in the official statement. Kerry also said he was 'strongly committed to resolving' the differences between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, 'to the mutual benefit of both of our people.' " • • • KERRY NATIONAL SECURITY RISKS. The FBI vets US government officials involved in national security issues, and it generally won’t grant clearances to individuals who are married to nationals of an enemy nation or have family members living in that country, for fear of divided loyalties or, more simply, blackmail. When Behrouz (Brian) Nahed and Vanessa Kerry Nahed were married,an Iranian government website first published pictures of the married couple just at the moment when Kerry was up for confirmation hearings before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Dr. Nahed’s parents live in Los Angeles, but he has relatives still in Iran. The Iranian website reported that, shortly after their marriage, the young couple visited those relatives in Iran. The Daily Caller article asked : "Was the Iranian publication itself a subtle form of blackmail, aimed at letting Kerry know that the regime is fully aware of his son-in-law’s extended family in Iran? The Islamic Republic systematically puts pressure on family members of prominent Iranian-Americans (for example, individuals who work at the Persian service of Voice of America), to make sure that they do not engage in hostile statements or activities against the Teheran regime. Certainly, Secretary Kerry has long favored a US rapprochement with the Islamic Republic. He has repeatedly appeared with groups such as the American Iranian Council (AIC), and has taken money from Iranian-Americans for his political campaigns, including at least one illegal donation from an Iranian woman who did not have a green card....Kerry may have figured that by revealing the family tie himself he could diffuse the situation, and make it more difficult for the regime to put pressure on his son-in-law’s family. Of course, that’s assuming Kerry in fact plans to do anything that angers the regime." • • • KERRY'S LONG-TERM PRO-IRAN STANCE. In August 2015, Overblog published an article by Kenneth R. Timmerman. Kenneth R. Timmerman is a political writer and conservative activist who was the 2012 Republican nominee for US Representative for the newly redrawn Maryland's 8th congressional district. Timmerman is a best-selling author who has spent his career investigating the dark side of national security. Famed Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal said of him, "I have spent my life tracking down the murderers of yesterday. Mr. Timmerman is tracking down the murderers of tomorrow." Here is what Timmerman wrote about John Kerry in 2015 : "John Kerry has much to hide on his ties to Iran. As I revealed more than ten years ago, Mr. Kerry has long been sympathetic to the Islamist regime in Teheran. In June 2002 -- just nine months after the 9/11 attacks on America -- Mr. Kerry headlined a fund-raising gala for the American-Iranian Council, a pro-regime lobbying group seeking to roll back US sanctions and promote US investment in Iran. The next day, AIC members returned the favor and hosted a fund-raiser for Senator Kerry’s re-election campaign at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco that netted more than $26,000. Many of those same fund-raisers became bundlers for Mr. Kerry’s failed 2004 presidential bid. Among those opening their wallets was a stunning 34-year-old Iranian woman named Susan Akbarpour, aka Zahra A. Mashadi. “I am an actor in US politics,” Ms. Akbarpour boasted to a reporter. “I am a fund-raiser for all candidates who listen to us and our concerns.” The only problem was, her political contributions were illegal because she did not have a green card. The Kerry campaign never returned those contributions and the Federal Election Commission never investigated. Mr. Kerry has been accused of behaving as 'Iran’s lawyer' in the nuclear negotiations, finding excuses for Iran’s bad behavior and justifications for a seemingly endless stream of US capitulations to Iran. But that behavior is not new." • Timmerman asked why the United States: " would appoint as lead negotiator a politician whose long-held views favoring our adversary in those negotiations were well-known? Much has been made recently of Secretary Kerry’s family ties to Iran, a fact that was never raised during his confirmation hearings as Secretary of State....The facts are indisputable : Mr. Kerry took illegal campaign cash from an Iranian national who, while claiming to be a political refugee, assaulted anti-regime protesters in Los Angeles, promoted US computer and software investment in Iran in violation of US sanctions, and boasted of influencing US politicians with a pro-Teheran agenda. Taking that illicit cash tainted Mr. Kerry and identified him a 'soft target' to agents of the Iranian regime." Timmerman states : "Mr. Kerry carried through his side of the bargain, embracing the pro-Teheran agenda during his 2004 presidential campaign, while his Iranian backers kicked in substantial fresh cash to his campaign. Mr. Kerry met [Iranian Foreign Minister and former Iranian ambassador to the UN] Zarif at a private reception hosted by George Soros in New York in 2005, shortly after Soros’s Open Society Institute hosted Zarif at a policy luncheon for New York media elites. Mr. Kerry sought to travel to Teheran to jumpstart diplomatic negotiations in December 2009, but was rebuffed by Teheran. As I wrote earlier this year, a former aide to Iranian president Rouhani, who defected while covering the nuclear talks, revealed that Mr. Kerry and the US delegation were seen by the Iranian negotiating team as secret allies who helped arm-twist reluctant partners such as France into making major concessions. I know Iranian-Americans who volunteered for US military service who were forced to leave the military when family members traveled to Iran. Why? Because counter-intelligence professionals who understood the Iranian government track record of exploiting family relationships for intelligence or political purposes indicated they could be compromised. After all, the Soviets used family relationships all through the Cold War to compromise unwilling individuals to collaborate with their cause. The game is as old as the intelligence business itself : find some string to manipulate or blackmail your adversary, then pull as hard as you can. When it comes to Iran, John Kerry is about as compromised as they get." • While Iran and US mainstream media have denied the entire Zarif-son-as-best-man story as false, and have also denied any meeting of Kerry and Zarif before the 2013 Iran nuclear deal negotiations began, and have strenuously denied htat Kerry was at a dinner at George Soros' New York penthouse where Zarif was also present -- not only Timmerman and many conservative outlets, including the blog of reputable retired SU Army Lieutenent Colonel turned congressman Allen West, insist that these details are factual. • In August 2015, Breaking Israel News called it "Nuclear Nepotism." Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz wrote : "Though no formal accusations have been made, neither have any inquiries or investigations been conducted. The accusation and the refutation stand on their own merits. Kerry’s close family connection was not mentioned in his confirmation hearings before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee....The lack of basic oversight and disclosure in this case is disturbing." • In yet another incident, Berkowitz said : "It is somewhat ironic that Kerry led a committee investigating the Iran-Contra Affair, in which selling weapons to Iran was illegal because it was designated a state sponsor of terrorism and was the focus of an arms embargo by the US government. Yet today, Kerry is willing to allow Iran’s nuclear program to remain intact, lift sanctions and provide the Iranian terror regime with billions of dollars, despite their public declarations of threats of violence, terror and destruction against the US and Israel. It appears that Kerry, regardless of his previous views on Iran as a terror state, has no qualms conducting negotiations based entirely on good faith, as his response to the Senate Committee clearly showed. Kerry’s intimate Iranian connections and his interests in foreign matters are a matter of public record. Taken separately, each incident may be considered harmless. Viewed together as a pattern, it seems that Kerry has a history of operating in areas where he has a conflict of interest, putting aside his beliefs. This should raise questions about his judgment. To date, there have been no American or Israeli calls to investigate Kerry’s multiple conflict of interests, though investigations and inquiries have certainly been initiated on much less grounds." • • • KERRY'S STATE DEPARTMENT FUNDS VANESSA'S AFRICAN PROJECT. If his Iran conections and the improper, and occasionally collusive, actions of John Kerry in aiding Iran's rrgime are not enough to convince us of his questionable ethics as a public servant, how about this. In September 2016, Breitbart wrote : "Secretary of State John Kerry’s daughter started a non-profit organization that trains doctors and nurses in Africa; she used more than $8 million in funds provided by American taxpayers over seven years to do so. Dr. Vanessa Bradford Kerry is the CEO of Seed Global Health, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that obtained its initial funding of $2 million for three years from the State Department, through the Peace Corps, in 2012 in a no-bid award [Hillary was then Secretary of State, and we already know about her 'ethics']. At the time, Kerry’s father, a Democrat, represented Massachusetts in the United States Senate and served as chairman of the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee, which approves the State Department’s budget each year. As the Daily News Foundation reported, Seed Global Health’s contract with the Peace Corps, funded by the State Department, was renewed for another $6.4 million for four years in 2015, again on a no-bid basis. At the time of this contract renewal, Dr. Kerry’s father had been serving as Secretary of State for two years." Breitbart News asked Mark Marino, Chief Development Officer of Seed Global Health, two questions about this unusual arrangement : "Is it ethical for an organization headed up by the daughter of the head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (at the time of the initial no-bid contract), and subsequent Secretary of State (at the time of the follow up contract) to obtain a no-bid contract with the Peace Corps, funded by the State Department? Why did CEO Vanessa Bradford Kerry choose to fund her personal charity activities not through her own giving, but rather through the taxpayers of the United States?" Breitbart says Marino responded quickly : "No conflict of interest exists in Seed Global Health’s partnership with Peace Corps and the US government. For the record and to clarify false statements, Seed Global Health CEO Dr. Vanessa Kerry’s father, Secretary of State John Kerry, has had no role or influence in the decision making for the Global Health Service Partnership either in the Senate or at the State Department. The process of developing the public-private partnership adhered to full governmental procedures and policies, was transparent, and involved interagency and Congressional approval. • Breitbart News advised Marino that his answer was not responsive to either question : "Breitbart asked if it was ethical for Secretary of State Kerry’s daughter to seek and obtain $8.4 million in federal funding for, in essence, her private charitable project, and Marino responded by saying that it was legal and 'not a conflict of interest' for her to do so. An action that may be technically 'legal' may not always be ethical as well. Marino’s response also failed to address a fundamental question about the proper role of government when it comes to charitable activities....According to its 2012 '990' Form, which covers the period from January 1, 2012, to September 30, 2012, Seed Global Health’s initial funding, obtained prior to the Peace Corps contract, was for $5,000 in 2011, and $372,384 in 2012, $10,284 of which came from 'government grants,' and $362,100 from 'contributions, gifts, and grants.' Though Seed Global Health’s contract with the Peace Corps for $500,000 in the first year of its three year, $2 million contract became effective as of September 10, 2012, the organization’s 2012 Form 990 does not recognize revenue from that contract in the accounting period that ended twenty days later, on September 30, 2012. Secretary of State Kerry is wealthy. His daughter, Dr. Vanessa Bradford Kerry, is also probably wealthy in her own right through inheritance from her mother....Kerry’s net worth has been estimated at $194 million. His first wife, Julia Thorne, Dr. Vanessa Bradford Kerry’s mother, came from a wealthy family, as well. Julia Thorne died in 2006. Kerry’s second wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, the widow of former Senator John Heinz (R-PA) (heir to the Heinz Ketchup fortune), has an estimated net worth of $1 billion." • But, none of Vanessa's or the family's money went into Seed Global Health. No, while Hillary and then her father were Secretaries of State, Vanessa received $2 million and $6.4 million --ON A NO-BID BASIS. Other American start-up charities should get in line -- behind those with the clout of the Kerry name. • • • DEAR READERS, nothing will happen to John Kerry because of his attempts to use 'private diplomacy' to destroy the Trump plan to hold Iran to account before the US government and its Congress. His actions are the latest Deep State / Swamp effort to destroy Trump and salvage Barack Obama. Kerry will be protected by them. Obama sees no wrong in funding a terrorist state with pallets of US Dollars in cash or releasing foreign banks to provide hundreds of billions of transactional facilities for its terrorism. Kerry represents the Obama goal of a nuclear Iran uncontrolled by either the flabby UN or its dogmatic International Atomic Energy Agency. Who cares if -- and, it is likely they would prefer it if-- Israel is blown to bits and its people scorched by Iranian ballistic missiles potentially loaded with nuclear warheads. Who cares if Saudi petroleum reserves fall into the terrorist hands of the Ayatollah. Who cares if North Korea and Russia join Iran in an unholy axis of evil. Obama doesn't care. Soros doesn't care. Kerry doesn't care. We care, and we will remember that when we vote in November.

  1. I have 1 question concerning the Mueller Special Council investigation ...”what is Mueller I titled to investigate when there was never an investigable charge mentioned in the order (?) creating the Mueller Special Council?”

How can a person investigate a subject when that subject is not set forth? Not set forth in the broadest or the most specific of terms?

Mueller has been investigating a person not a crime. In Watergate there was a crime which lead to President Nixon. Mueller has no crime to investigate. He does have the desire of the Deep Staters, the ProgDem, the Obama- Clinton team, etc. to rid the Office of the Presidency of Donald Trump. And that has nothing to do with any known or imaginary crime.

We are witnessing the destruction of our Constitution and therefore our way of life.

  2. The Cohen Law Firm that was raided by the Mueller for one reason - to see if they could find anything against Trump. And why the Cohen Law Firm - because it was small and investigating it was going to be easy and fast.

What large law firms were ever investigated during the Banking scandals and bank failures that nearly brought down the American Banking Systems. A scandal so visible that a that a first year practicing lawyer could have prosecuted. An exaggeration certainly, but you see my point.

And how large was the then Law Firms representing the various very large banks ?

There are Republicans in the House and Senate and appointees at or near the head of various Departments/sub-Departments in Washington D.C.that are not real Republicans, nor will they ever be supporters of a Trump Administration, but are truly Globalists Elite (thinking) Democrats.

But there are NO Democrats in these bodies that are Republicans.

As simple as these two statements are, they go to the current disconnect in the functioning of the Trump Administration. Who Donald Trump has on his side is the Constitution, truth, honor, and the American voter.

  4. LOGAN ACT - “Private correspondence with foreign governments
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”

Kerry met with Iran Foreign Minister Javad Zarif two months ago then again two weeks ago at the United Nations in New York to discuss ways to keep the Iran nuclear deal intact.

Separately, Kerry also met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and French President Emmanuel Macron, and spoke on the phone with European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini the Globe reports. In addition, the paper says, Kerry lobbied members of U.S. Congress, including House Speaker Paul Ryan.

Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, got into legal trouble for negotiations at the United Nations over a resolution with Israel, a U.S. ally, while working for a legitimately elected Trump during the presidential transition period. Flynn was accused of violating the Logan Act. No one in the United States had ever before been officially charged with violating the Logan Act since its birth more than 200 years ago.

This isn’t the first time Kerry has acted against the U.S. government and U.S. interests as a private citizen. He traveled to Paris in 1970 and met with Viet Cong (Vietnamese communists) negotiators during the Paris peace talk. He was not part of the U.S. government official delegation then, either. Just like now, he simply inserted himself into where he didn’t belong.

Kerry got away without his actions in 1970s, but he shouldn’t get away again in 2018.
