President Trump's Excellent First Year Achievements vs the MSM's Ghoulish Obsession with His Health

THE REAL NEWS TODAY IS THAT THE SWAMP CREATURES CAN'T EVEN KEEP THEIR SWAMP OPERATING. On the first annniversary of the inauguration of President Trump, let's look at how the Swamp and mainstream media are dealing with the best President for American citizens since Ronald Reagan. • The Senate is still trying to agree on a way to keep the federal government from going into a partial shutdown as this blog is posted. To be clear, the Senate Democrats and their minority leader Chuck Schumer are holding the budget hostage to their demands about the future of DACA, a question that doesn't need to be answered until early March when the current DACA legislation expires. DACA has nothing to do with the budget. But, as I post this blogn one Democratn Representative Donnelly of Indiana has broken ranks and said he will vote for the stopgap -- is this the signal that Democrats don't want to be tarred with the "Schume Shutdown," as Trump has labeled it? • Let's talk about another thing totally out of kilter -- the ghoulish obsession of the mainstream media with President Trump's health, and their dire predictions that, despite the fact that the doctor appointed by Obama has given the President a clean bill of health, the MSM is still hoping that Trump will fall fatally ill or tumble into the mental dysfunction of Altzeimer's or dementia. What a sick bunch of wannabe seditionists. • • • MEDIA GO MENTAL ON TRUMP : PREDICT LIFE-THREATENING HEALTH DISASTER. That was the headline of a Wednesday WND special report on the aftermath of the President's doctor giving a press conference to say that President Trump is in excellent physical and mental health. • But, even after the Obama-appointed White House doctor -- US Navy Real Admiral Ronny Jackson -- said President Trump is in “excellent” health, mainstream media reporters -- who routinely ignored and downplayed former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s physical collapse, uncontrollable coughing fits and self-reported memory failure -- have declared open season on President Trump’s health, claiming the doctor must be lying about it. The White House press corps lobbed more than a dozen questions at Admiral-Dr. Ronny Jackson on Tuesday, many suggesting President Trump is mentally ill or exhibits symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. Jackson insisted Trump is in great health and received a perfect score, 30 out of 30, on a cognitive exam that the President personally requested. • ABC’s Cecilia Vega asked : “You know, there have been reports the President has forgotten names, that he’s repeating himself. Are you ruling out things like early onset Alzheimer’s? Are you looking at dementia-like symptoms?” • CNN's house doctor Sanjay Gupta "diagnosed" the President as having "heart disease" and predicted that Trump wll have a heart attack in 3 to 5 years. But, the Daily Caller investigated and stated : "Jackson reported that Trump’s calcium score was 133. Scores above 100, as Gupta noted, are associated with a higher risk of complications such as heart attacks. But Trump is 71 years old, and a calcium score of 133 puts him in the 46th percentile of his age and ethnic cohort. 'Even 400 for a man aged 71 isn’t really really high,' Dr. Michael Blaha, cardiologist and director of clinical research at the Johns Hopkins Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Heart Disease, explained to the Daily Caller. Jackson described the calcium score as 'clinically good information,' and reported that cardiologists he spoke to at several institutions found the results 'reassuring.' ” • Maggie Haberman of the New York Times suggested Jackson “may have arbitrarily made Trump one inch taller so that he would not have an obese body mass index.” She tweeted : “Remember that earlier physicals decades ago put Trump at 6-2. This physical has him at 6-3. It makes a difference on his BMI from overweight to obese.” • WND noted the crazed questions of other "reporters," who asked for Trump’s waist measurements, whether the President has received a colonoscopy, if his doctor is concerned that Trump will have a stroke, and if the President has a “drug addiction.” One even asked : “Do you have a life expectancy range for him? Is he limited to one scoop of ice cream now?” Another asked : “Does this President ask you about how he could follow his predecessor’s example to be as fit as Barack Obama was?” • Rush Limbaugh pointed out during his radio talk show the mainstream media double-standard in attacking Trump’s weight while repeatedly downplaying Hillary Clinton’s health issues during the 2016 presidential campaign. Limbaugh said : "This is the same media that never questioned Hillary Clinton when she could barely stand up! The same media that never questioned Hillary Clinton when she collapsed trying to get into a van to make a fast getaway after almost having collapsed at a 9/11 ceremony. The same media that never asked Hillary about her supposed concussions. The same media that never questioned when she was wearing those thick Coke bottle glasses because of her double vision! They said it was actually double vision; it was to prevent seizures. The same media that never questioned when Hillary couldn’t finish a single speech without a prolonged coughing fit. There was never any concern for Hillary Clinton’s health, and we never had [CNN’s] Sanjay Gupta or any other doctor on mainstream media telling us, “She’s not well.” This is the same bunch of people now obsessed claiming Trump is dangerously overweight, the same people that want [visibly overweight] Oprah to be President....This is pathetic. These people are...What’s the word? They’re obsessed, and the poison with which they’re obsessed is hatred. Hatred and resentment. But they are literally boiling with rage each and every day. I guess they expected these results to be deadly for Trump, maybe even in a literal sense, and they just can’t accept what they heard. It’s too good. It defies what they know to be true." • • • THE WORST MSM FAKE NEWS ATTACK IS THAT TRUMP IS MENTALLY ILL. A psychiatrist who claimed to have briefed more than a dozen US lawmakers on Trump’s mental state -- demanding an “emergency” evaluation and even restraint by force of the President -- may not even have a license in her home state of Connecticut, according to WND, which reported that Bandy Lee, an assistant professor in forensic psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine and author of “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump,” says she briefed Democrats and one Republican on Trump’s mental health status on December 5 and 6. Lee and Harvard’s Judith Herman and Columbia’s Robert Jay Lifton recently released a statement warning that Trump is “further unraveling,” despite the fact that they’ve never actually examined the President. Lee claimed failure to address President Trump’s declining mental-health state could lead to “the extinction of the human species.” Lee suggested a forced evaluation, but she warned it could “really look like a coup” : "We encounter this often in mental health. Those who most require an evaluation are the least likely to submit to one. That is the reason why in all 50 states we have not only the legal authority, but often the legal obligation, to contain someone even against their will when it’s an emergency. So in an emergency, neither consent nor confidentiality requirements hold. Safety comes first. What we do in the case of danger is we contain the person, we remove them from access to weapons, and we do an urgent evaluation. This is what we have been calling for with the President based on basic medical standards of care. Surprisingly, many lawyer groups have actually volunteered, on their own, to file for a court paper to ensure that the security staff will cooperate with us. But we have declined, since this will really look like a coup, and while we are trying to prevent violence, we don’t wish to incite it through, say, an insurrection." AN INSURRECTION??? • Some psychological professionals have called President Trump “psychotic,” “narcissistic,” “paranoid,” “emotionally unstable,” “delusional” and “psychologically isolated” and claimed he has a “dangerous mental illness.” It has long been considered unethical for psychiatrists to “diagnose” politicians or public figures based solely on their public actions or statements, without conducting an actual in-person examination. But now that Trump is President, a national psychology organization, the American Psychoanalytic Association, has given psychoanalysts the green light to publicly comment on Trump’s mental health. BUT, since Lee’s statements were made public, the American Psychiatric Association released a statement urging psychiatrists to stop trying to evaluate Trump when they’ve never even examined him : “We at the APA call for an end to psychiatrists providing professional opinions in the media about public figures whom they have not examined, whether it be on cable news appearances, books, or in social media. Arm-chair psychiatry or the use of psychiatry as a political tool is the misuse of psychiatry and is unacceptable and unethical.” • Based on this ghoulish MSM obsession with trying to get rid of President Trump by alleging that he is physically or -- because it is harder to disprove -- mentally ill, we might ask why MSM senior management isn't investigating the mental stability of their own "journalists." • • • REPRESENTATIVE CHRIS COLLINS, SPEAKS OUT. On Thursday, TheHill published an opinion piece by Representative Chris Collins of New York, one of President Trump's earliest and most steadfast supporters. Collins wrote : "Trump is getting things done and leading our country in the right direction. Last year as President Trump was being sworn into office, Americans were filled with a sense of pride and optimism that after years of complacency and failure, our great nation might finally be on track to once again become an economic powerhouse. Under President Trump’s leadership, we have seen explosive economic growth, and now the pump is primed for further economic expansion with our tax reform legislation and the repeal of hundreds of job killing regulations. It is a sad reality that often times a lot of these accomplishments have been clouded by distractions and the media’s obsession with things like the Russia investigation or questions about the President’s competency. These are nothing more than attempts by the left to delegitimize America’s decision to elect Donald Trump as our President." Representative Collins calls Trump "a smart, competent leader in the White House, who works hard to get things done : "Under President Trump’s leadership, Congress passed historic tax cuts for hardworking Americans for the first time in 31 years. In my district, the average family will save approximately $1,875 each year on their tax bill....This once-in-a-generation reform was a tall order, but we owe it to President Trump for being what we elected him to be, a successful CEO....The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act lowers rates, doubles the standard deduction as well as the child tax credit, and keeps in place incentives for homeowners, individuals with expensive medical bills, and those saving for an education. The President proved that he was a true trailblazer when including the elimination of the Obamacare individual mandate, providing families with the flexibility to buy the health care that’s right for them if they choose." Collins compares the economic situation under Obama -- "stagnant wage growth and severe underemployment" -- to Trump's creation of an economic environment with pro-growth policies that create confidence : "Previously, our corporate tax rate was the highest of any industrialized nation, making America uncompetitive with rest of the world....jobs and profits were pushed overseas instead of staying in America. We have lowered the corporate tax rate to be competitive with other industrialized nations in order to bring jobs and profits back home, where they belong. President Trump recognized the importance of making the new rate of 21% permanent in order to provide much needed certainty. By leveling the playing field, American companies will be able to hire more workers and increase wages....companies like At&T, Southwest Airlines, UPS, Visa and others are passing along their savings to employees. Automakers like Toyota-Mazda and Chrysler have committed to new investments in the United States. Additionally, small businesses will see the lowest tax rates since World War II. Main Street job creators are the backbone of our nation, and we need to make sure that more individuals can continue to achieve the American dream." In addition, Collins wrote : "President Trump has ended wasteful and costly regulations that stood in the way of hardworking Americans. Bureaucratic red-tape implemented under President Obama created uncertainty and gave too much power to Washington. In Fiscal Year 2017 alone the Trump administration saved more than $8.1 billion in lifetime regulatory costs. The economy has been freed from overregulation and we are seeing the impacts. President Trump has created an environment where businesses know they can thrive, which is why we have seen the creation of 2.1 million new jobs, the Dow hitting record highs, and GDP growth above 3% for two quarters in a row for the first time in three years." Collins says he agrees with his constituents when they say that President Trump is "Making America Great Again." No longer are we living under the guise of big government with its high taxes, overregulation, and wasteful spending. Americans are taking advantage of this new climate of economic growth and I look forward to continuing our success together." • Collins' review of President Trump's first year as President pours cold water on the MSM ghouls who are trying to pull down President Trump -- they are really trying to pull Americans down into their Progressive-Globalist world of government dependence. • • • TRUMP DISMANTLED OBAMA'S LEGACY IN ONE YEAR. The WND review of President Trump's first year in office began with a quote from the tarnished CNN anchor Anderson Cooper : "If nothing else, he's keeping his promises." On Thursday, WND published its own list of President Trump's first year accomplishments. Here they are. OBAMACARE. "The failure to repeal and replace Obamacare is regarded as perhaps the biggest legislative failure of President Trump’s first year in office. Yet, Trump managed to eliminate the linchpin of Obama’s signature law, the individual mandate, through the tax-reform bill passed in December. And now the administration is taking the first step toward implementing one of the most important planks of conservative health-care reform, selling insurance policies across state lines. Trump signed an executive order that directs three federal agencies to rewrite regulations to encourage the establishment of cheaper health plans that can be purchased across state lines and are not bound by certain Obamacare rules and regulations. The Trump administration also has expanded religious and moral exemptions for mandated contraceptive coverage under Obamacare. The law required that nearly all insurance plans cover abortion-inducing drugs and contraception, forcing citizens to violate sincerely held religious or moral beliefs, pay steep fines, or forgo offering or obtaining health insurance entirely." IMMIGRATION. "The Department of Homeland Security released figures December 4 showing Trump is delivering on his pledge to more strictly control immigration and deter would-be border-crossers. ICE said the number of people apprehended away from the border jumped 25% this fiscal year, an increase of 37% after Trump’s inauguration compared to the same period the year before....Secretary of State Rex Tillerson announced December 3 the Trump administration was withdrawing from the Global Compact on Migration, arguing it would 'undermine the sovereign right of the United States to enforce our immigration laws and secure our borders.' In September, Trump rescinded Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals [DACA] order, which gave de facto amnesty to some 800,000 people who came to the country as children with their illegal-alien parents. Trump has delayed implementing his order for six months to give Congress time to come up with a legislative solution. The Department of Homeland Security in August ended the Central American Minors Parole Program that had allowed certain minors from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras to enter the US. In the first 100 days of the Trump administration, arrests and deportations of criminal aliens such as MS-13 members were up 38% compared with the last year of the Obama administration. The DOJ also resumed the criminal prosecution of first-time illegal border crossers after it had been stopped by the Obama administration." STATES' RIGHTS. President Trump signed two executive orders that gave back about 2 million acres of land to the state of Utah by modifying executive orders by President Obama. Arguing the Antiquities Act 'requires that any reservation of land as part of a monument be confined to the smallest area compatible with the proper care and management of the objects of historic or scientific interest to be protected,' Trump reduced the federal government’s control of the Bear’s Ear National Monument to just 201,876 acres, pointing out that the important objects of scientific or historic interest described described in Obama’s proclamation are protected under existing laws and agency management designations. He also reduced the Grand Staircase National Monument in Utah from nearly 1.9 million acres to about 1 million." FOREIGN AFFAIRS. "President Trump announced in October and January -- saying it was the last itme -- he would not certify the Iran nuclear deal and vowed that the US would pull out unless changes are made. He also unveiled a new strategy, the culmination of nine months of deliberation with Congress and allies, on how to best protect American security from the rogue mullah-led regime...denying the regime funding and any paths to a nuclear weapon and ballistic missiles. The Department of the Treasury sanctioned more than 25 entities and individuals involved in Iran’s ballistic missile program. The US also sanctioned 16 entities and individuals that have supported Iran’s military and Revolutionary Guard Corps in the development of drones, fast attack boats and other military equipment. The Trump administration now is investigating allegations the Obama administration -- to protect its Iran deal -- thwarted a probe of a Hezbollah drug ring and tipped off the commander of the Quds Force, a designated terrorist organization, that the Israelis were plotting to assassinate him. In his first speech to the UN General Assembly, Trump explicitly denounced socialism and communism, pointing to Venezuela as an example of what happens when socialism is successfully implemented....President Trump on December 6 became the first to follow through. In his official order, Trump also ordered the US Embassy to be moved to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv. The move was celebrated by Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who had been treated by Obama as an adversary. The US ambassador to the U.N., Nikki Haley, announced days after the UN General Assembly condemned the US for recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital that Washington negotiated a $285 million cut in the global body’s 'bloated' budget for next year. The Trump administration announced December 29 that the United States will deny Pakistan military aid amounting to $255 million because Washington expects the Islamic nation 'to take decisive action against terrorists and militants on its soil.' ” REGULATORY REFORM. "President Trump announced Decembe 14 his administration has far exceeded its promise to eliminate regulations at a 2:1 ratio and impose no lifetime net regulatory costs. In total, agencies issued 67 deregulatory actions while imposing only three new regulatory actions, a ratio of 22:1. Federal agencies also achieved $8.1 billion in lifetime net regulatory cost savings, the equivalent of $570 million per year. From the beginning of his term, Trump set up task forces in every agency to remove 'job killing regulations' and increase 'economic opportunity.' By comparison, during President Obama’s years in office, more than 22,700 regulations were imposed on Americans at a cost to American consumers, businesses and workers of more than $120 billion each year. Trump’s order reducing regulation and controlling regulatory costs was the first time in US history that the executive branch has established a regulatory budget." ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY REFORM. "More than 700 people have left the Environmental Protection Agency since Trump took office, nearly a quarter of the way toward its goal of shrinking the agency to Reagan-administration levels. EPA Director Scott Pruitt placed 66 new experts on three different EPA scientific committees who espouse more conservative views than their predecessors. To prevent conflicts of interest, Pruitt signed a directive banning scientists who receive EPA grants from serving on the agency’s independent advisory boards. Pruitt announced a new set of rules that will override the Clean Power Plan, the centerpiece of Obama’s drive to curb global 'climate change.' The agency is moving to undo, delay or block more than 30 environmental rules, the largest regulatory rollback in the agency’s 47-year history. In July, President Trump kept his campaign promise to coal miners and rolled back the previous administration’s 'Stream Protection Rule,' which targeted the industry with estimated costs of at least $81 million a year. Trump approved the Dakota Access Pipeline project and the construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada, which are expected to create more than 42,000 jobs and $2 billion in earnings. The Dakota Access Pipeline, which is transporting 500,000 barrels of oil a day, has reinvigorated the North Dakota economy. In June, Trump approved production of the New Burgos Pipeline to Mexico. Trump issued an executive order in June to begin the process of rescinding the 2015 Waters of the United States rule, which has been used to expand federal control over private land. Under the Obama administration, the broadly crafted rule was applied to 'navigable waters' such as man-made ditches and water that accumulated after heavy rain." CLIMATE CHANGE. Trump, in June, pulled the US out of the Paris Climate Accord, which...could have cost the United States economy nearly $3 trillion along with a loss of sovereignty....by 2040, 6.5 million industrial sector jobs could have been lost, including 3.1 million manufacturing sector jobs. Trump removed climate change from the global threats listed in his National Security Strategy, reversing an Obama administration decision. Obama, in the most recent strategy document, declared climate change an 'urgent and growing threat to our national security.' Trump shut down a climate-change advisory panel under the direction of NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, that critics have contended was formed largely to promote President Obama’s climate policies, arguing it lacked representation from 'those who think the empirical evidence points to human actions contributing little to global warming and that attempting to reduce it would slow the conquest of poverty around the world.' The EPA also has decided not to renew the appointments of dozens of scientists on various scientific advisory panels." THE ECONOMY. "Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell praised President Trump for his leadership in the passage of the biggest tax overhaul in 30 years, with some $3.2 trillion in tax cuts along with significant simplification of the tax code. Not a single Democrat voted for the measure and party leaders dismissed it as a sop to the rich. But dozens of companies already have responded to a cut in the corporate rate from 35% to 21% by boosting employee wages and providing extra bonuses. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported nearly 1.3 million new jobs were created during Trump’s first 200 days. Meanwhile, Obama, in his first six months, saw the loss of more than 4.1 million jobs in his first 200 days. This week, the Labor Department announced US filings for unemployment benefits plummeted to the lowest level in almost 45 years, suggesting the unemployment rate of 4.1%, already the lowest since 2000, could be poised to decline further, according to analysts. Obama proposed legislation to force multinationals to pay taxes on profits they hold offshore. But with passage of the tax-reform bill, Apple has decided it will repatriate overseas cash holdings and pour $350 billion into the US economy over the next five years. Trump tweeted in response that his policies allowed the tech giant 'to bring massive amounts of money back to the United States,' which is a 'huge win for American workers and the USA!' ” ISLAMIC JIHAD. Three years ago, ISIS had made substantial progress achieving its stated goal of a caliphate, boasting tens of thousands of fighters and territorial control over an area roughly the size of South Korea. But now, under Trump’s leadership of the US Armed Forces, ISIS has collapsed in its Syria stronghold and in Iraq. As Northeastern Professor Max Abrahms and CATO Institute Director John Glaser noted in a Los Angeles Times op-ed, a former foreign fighter recently admitted, 'It’s over: there is no more Daesh [ISIS] left.' In July, the Trump administration ended a CIA program to arm 'moderate' Syrian rebels after previous efforts of its kind were shown to have aided Islamic jihadists, including the terrorists who carried out the disastrous Benghazi attack in which four Americans, including the ambassador, were killed." AFRICAN AMERICANS. The unemployment rate for black Americans dropped to an all-time low in December, to 6.8%. The previous monthly low was 7.4% in 2000. The government has been tracking unemployment by race since 1972." THE MILITARY. "The Trump administration reversed Obama’s order to allow transgendered individuals to serve in the military. The order is being challenged in court." RELIGIOUS LIBERTY. "The Department of Agriculture issued a guidance November 6 that ensures Christians who opposed same-sex marriage would not be discriminated against for their beliefs." We should also note that in the past few days, President Trump has announced that a new Conscience and Religious Freedom Division within the Health and Human Services Department's Office for Civil Rights will protect doctors, nurses and other medical professionals who have moral or religious objections to providing certain services. It advances an executive order that President Trump signed in May directing agencies to expand religious liberty under federal law. And, perhaps most liberating of all, President Trump has brought back "Merry Christmas." SPACE EXPLORATION. "President Trump revived America’s leadership in space exploration, reconstituting the National Space Council for the first time in 25 years to assist him in developing and implementing long-range strategic goals. In contrast to Obama’s priorities, the space program will refocus on human exploration and discovery. Under Obama, NASA administrator Charles Bolden said in a 2010 interview with al-Jazeera that Obama had given him three charges, with perhaps the foremost being helping the Moslem world 'feel good' about itself. The Trump administration also will renew America’s commitment to creating the space technology needed to protect national security. And VP Pence pointed out the intelligence community reports that Russia and China are pursuing a full range of anti-satellite technology designed to threaten US military effectiveness." THE COURTS. "Keeping a major campaign promise, President Trump nominated to the Supreme Court a strict constructionist and originalist in the mold of Antonin Scalia, Neil Gorsuch, who was confirmed by the Senate and sworn in as an associate justice in April. In his first term, in June, Gorsuch voted in every case with the justice generally regarded as the most conservative, Clarence Thomas. Trump also is filling up lower courts with lifetime appointees...naming youthful conservative nominees to the federal bench in record-setting numbers. On September 28, Trump announced an eighth wave of judicial candidates, with nine more names." ABORTION. "In January, Trump signed an order reinstating the Mexico City Policy, which defunded the International Planned Parenthood Federation and other organizations that promote foreign abortions. In May, the administration broadened the scope of the Mexico City Policy to restrict funding to any international health organization that performs or gives information about abortions, expanding the amount of money affected from $600,000 to nearly $9 billion. The Office of Management and Budget issued a Statement of Administration Policy to strongly support the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 36), which would generally make it unlawful for any person to perform, or attempt to perform, an abortion of an unborn child after 20 weeks post-fertilization. The President issued a statement October 1 renewing the nation’s 'strong commitment to promoting the health, well-being, and inherent dignity of all children and adults with Down syndrome.' The President observed : 'there remain too many people -- both in the United States and throughout the world -- that still see Down syndrome as an excuse to ignore or discard human life.' He said Americans and their government 'must always be vigilant in defending and promoting the unique and special gifts of all citizens in need' and 'should not tolerate any discrimination against them, as all people have inherent dignity.'....The largely overlooked HHS strategic plan for 2018-22 states the agency 'accomplishes its mission through programs and initiatives that cover a wide spectrum of activities, serving and protecting Americans at every stage of life, beginning at conception.' In what was regarded as the first major national pro-life bill in more than a decade, Trump signed in April a Congressional Review bill into law annulling a recent Obama administration regulation that would have prohibited states from discriminating in awarding Title X family planning funds based on whether a local clinic also performs abortions. The Trump administration cut off US funding of the United Nations Population Fund, which has links to inhumane abortion programs such as China’s one-child policy (which became a two-child policy in 2015). More than $32 million was instead shifted to the US Agency for International Development. Trump appointed pro-life advocate Dr. Charmaine Yoest, the former president of Americans United for Life, as assistant secretary of public affairs for the Department of Health and Human Services, replacing a strong Planned Parenthood supporter. Later, two pro-life advocates who had worked for the Family Research Council were appointed to key positions. And Valerie Huber, an abstinence education advocate, was appointed in June as chief of staff to the assistant secretary for health at the HHS." WELFARE REFORM. "In August, the Department of Health and Human Services rescinded an Obama-era directive that had allowed states to request a waiver to ignore work requirements for the poor in order to receive welfare. Also in August, more than 1.1 million fewer Americans were on food stamps under President Trump, compared to the Obama administration." THE SECOND AMENDMENT. The Justice Department terminated Operation Choke Point, an Obama program encouraging banks not to do business with 'high risk' businesses, which was used to target gun dealers. President Trump signed a bill into law in February repealing an Obama-era Social Security Administration rule adding mental disability determinations to the background check registry. The Obama regulation potentially allowed the denial of Second Amendment rights to many competent, mentally healthy citizens." LAW ENFORCEMENT. "Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the DOJ cracked down on illegal leaks of classified information from within the government, pursuing three times more investigations in the first six months of the Trump administration than had been open at the end of the Obama administration. The administration created a counter-intelligence unit within the FBI for the investigations. In April, Sessions, in an effort to give back local control to police departments, ordered the Department of Justice to review Obama’s agreements with local police departments." EDUCATION. "Trump’s education secretary, Betsy DeVos, in June appointed Adam Kissel, a noted critic of the Obama administration’s implementation of Title IX -- the much-abused 1972 federal law that bars discrimination in education 'on the basis of sex' -- and a strong supporter of free speech, as deputy assistant secretary for higher education programs. The staff of the Title IX enforcement office was reduced in the 2018 budget. In April, Trump signed an executive order requiring Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos to review department regulations with the intent of returning power to the states and local governments." SCHOOL BATHROOMS. "Trump, in February, reversed Obama’s executive order requiring public schools to allow students to use bathrooms and locker rooms according to their preferred 'gender identity.' ” • • • DEAR READERS, the list of Trump accomplishments in his first presidential year is long and impressive. He is returning America to its citizens and reducing the size and intrusion of the federal bureaucracy, while boosting the economy and producing jobs for American workers. This is the work of a focused, determined President whose health and policies are both excellent.

  1. The Trump Administration is suffering from a “Cause and Effect” syndrome. That is the cause in this case is the overwhelming success that Trump has had in his first year as president. The effect half of this syndrome is that the more successful the Trump Administration is at righting this one great sinking ship called America, the more successful he is at fulfilling campaign promises, the more he returns America to the America of its former lofty status of the dominate world leader, the more the ProgDems & MSM attack him with the fortitude and determination of a wounded Lion.

The Trump Administration must become pro-active and get a DOJ that is willing to take the criminal accountable information at hand and bring charges against those whose end-game is the breakdown of the Trump Presidency and the folding of the Rule of Law in the United States.

Trump and democracy and freedom are at a point of Win or Go Home time. And from my view it seems that Trump is playing the best he can without the support of the republican controlled House and Senate. He must wake up to the fact that he is the controlling factor of the success or failure of his administration. President Trump the only Calvary coming to your assistance is the one you directly command.

  2. The blatant stupidity of the ProgDems and the Main Street Media to continue this attacks against Donald Trump when one of the own news outlets (CNN) just yesterday released a poll that 56% of the American voters are more concerned with the “continuation” of the Federal Government than they are with the present dilemma of a blanket solution for Illegal Dreamers to gain free and easy entrance to Citizenship.

And yet right up to Midnight last night the Senator Schumer and his gang of functionaries keep assaulting by name President Trump and GOP Senate leadership with lies and made up facts indicating otherwise.

The ProgDems are on a very slippery slope path leading into this year’s Mid-term elections. They are playing a game that could lead to a more solid House of Representatives for trump to do business with and a ‘veto’ proof Republican Senate. The once slightly responsible Democratic Party is shedding their connection to the American voters faster than the Whig party did prior to the Civil War.

As President Reagan once said about the Russians …”Trust but verify.” Well the American voters trusted what Donald Trump said he would do as President, and he has made great strides in his effort to reestablish America to its once greatness for their trust in him.

  3. The anti-Trump, very liberal Washington Post recently stated that several of Donald Trump’s appointees are fans of Ayn Rand. It’s a testament to Ayn Rand’s impact that a president can’t fill a cabinet with successful business leaders without including people who’ve been inspired and influenced by Rand’s heroic depiction of entrepreneurs and innovators.

Well what would an Ayn Rand White House look like - it wouldn’t focus merely on rolling back some of the controls and redistribution programs of the Obama era. It would focus on liberating us from the regulatory-welfare state and moving America forward—toward a government devoted to safeguarding individual rights.

Ayn Rand will certainly not be coming to the White House, but Donald Trump’s White House certainly could use some of her partisans. Rand called herself a radical for capitalism. A DOJ filled with appointees who embraced her worldview would have a very different agenda than what this administration got with AG Session, his inner staff of democracy guard dogs, and the Special Investigator and his deep State loyalists.

Donald trump has been awesome in his first year. AG Jeff Sessions has been a non-player so far. It’s time for a pro-active person to be AG.

  4. It will take a political revolution to wrench power out of the hands of the Washington establishment and put it in the hands of the people. But don’t bet against it: just look at the evident, embarrassing failure of the current system and its shameless corruption.

    That’s exactly how revolutions start.
